Clays Bar and Grill

Just ok bar food, overly expensive for the area. Definitely not worth the price. Beer selection is very limited. Burgers are probably the best thing to get on the menu, and the fried pickles are actually the most redeeming quality of this place. Wings are decent but very small.

I stopped in for a quick bite! Heard the Jambalaya was good!It was not.The thing was salty...burnt my tongue how bad it was.I'll be back to try something else and give them a another try.

Enjoyed my burger and onion rings. Seemed like a nice space. First time there so I can't compare how much better it is since it reopened under new owners. I'll be back. I was really excited when I saw the pool tables. I've been looking for more places to play in the area. But $2 a game?! I hate paying per game as it is because most games take me 5 mins to play but everyone else at least is in the $1.25 range per game. Please bring those prices down!

New menu and the food so great! We've enjoyed everything we've ordered so far this summer, dining there as a family almost weekly. Their specials are so fabulous, having tried their Smothered Chicken Sandwich and the Honey Mustard Chicken Salad. Delicious. The quality is excellent. We love having this weeknight dinner go-to spot in our community.

I've been here 3 times now. 1st time I had a terrible experience. We ordered a pizza and waited 10 minutes before someone told us they were out of dough. So we got burgers instead. 25 mins later we got our burgers. Our waiter was rude and upset because I told her my burger was too red and my fries are cold. so she took it back to cook longer. she gave an attitude the rest of the night. She filled up our drinks without asking and without telling us root beer refills are not free. Would I have known, I would asked for water considering it was $5 each. 2nd time my husband and I came for pizza and I was not disappointed at all. The pizza was amazing! Our waitress was so nice. And the bartender is awesome too! And same for the 3rd time that we came in. We definitely plan on coming in again for the pizza!

Visited Wednesday, the meal was disappointing. I feel the food was very bland and overpriced for what we got, portions were small for the cost. The fries were delicious. Had our waitress even asked how the food was, we would have shared our thoughts. My teenage kid didn't care for the cheeseburger, said it had no flavor. We had a philly cheese steak sandwich too, that was chopped steak on a bread roll, the meat was gray and unappealing. Usually a cheese steak is finely shaved beef,not huge chunks.Hoping this was an off night.

Beer is overpriced. Even for Happy Hour. Bartender (lady with blond hair, slightly heavier set, ponytail) literally didn't look at me when talking to me. Kind of cold in there. Not impressed.

I've enjoyed this place on a Thursday for Karaoke and the food was pretty darn good too.

The new and improved Clay's is an awesome place to spend a Sunday afternoon enjoying the meat raffle, or go to with family to enjoy a delicious meal! The menu has a wide range of selections that are all equally delicious. They keep the restaurant busy by bringing in people for Bingo, Karaoke, and live music. Check it out next time you're in the Rockford area.

We waited 25 minutes and were never greeted. Even walked up to ask the waitress for menus and she never came over. Multiple waitresses looked and walked by our table with no greeting. We were greeted as we were leaving. We informed them no one had came over at all and they said it was their first busy night. Totally get that but letting a table sit for thirty minutes isn't just a busy first night. It's bad service and poor management. Another table was also leaving at the same time because they had waited thirty minutes and their drinks still weren't there. New owner should've been there to help manage seating tables and to help staff/greet customers to help establish themselves in the community and problem solve.
