Chocolate Oasis

Located in the Subway Underground of Mayo Clinic attached to the Marriott Hotel we came across this gem of a Chocolatier! Brenda took it over from her mother and runs the Chocolate Shop now! We were going for Truffles, and we're enjoying working our way through the varieties we got to bring back to Alaska! Carrot Cake, Key Lime Pie, Bourbon Pecan, Tiramisu, Kahlua and Coffee, oh my all so decadent! She must have 60+ different Truffles! So many chocolates to choose from! You'll find a variety to tickle your tastebuds and chocolate craving here I'm sure!

A small but well stocked kiosk at the end of the hallway in Mayo Gona Building. Our don't miss stop every time we visit is The Chocolate Oasis for dark chocolate candied orange peel and Icelandic bars. Yum!

I can't believe nobody has written a review for this place. I have only had the chocolate creams here (maple, lemon, orange, etc)...and I must say they are some of the best I have ever tasted. The flavoring they use is authentic and do not taste artificial which is a rarity. I get these delivered in the winter. It is a hidden gem. I can't speak for their other chocolates but will try them on my next visit which will be soon.

A friend brought me a box of these chocolates. She thought they were excellent and I could not agree more. We are both world travelers and have never had better. My favorite was the butter brickle.,
