Hubs found this place on some search he had been doing and after checking out the menu, wanted to check out happy hour. We ended up also having dinner.Tried the crispy potatoes and l'orange chicken wings from the happy hour menu. The potatoes were fantastic and the sauce that came with them was delicious. I'm not sure if I'd get the wings again, not because they were bad (the orange sauce was excellent; I actually used some on the potatoes too!), but they were really messy. On to dinner, I had the chicken pappardelle, hubs had the gnocchi. Wow, both were great. The gnocchi actually used a fondue sauce, so it was cheesy, but not heavy. The chicken was prepared wonderfully and was so crispy, it held up to the mushroom sauce on the pasta.Would love to come back for happy hour again and stay for dinner!

This restaurant shares a building with the hotel I stay in and I had never been there before. So one day, decided to go and try it out with a few folks! It took a little bit for the server to come by but that was ok as we were just talking amongst ourselves. Once he greeted us, we ordered some drinks, the bread and butter and some appetizers. I have to tell you, once that bread came out of the oven, the smell just wafted through the whole restaurant. There is nothing like fresh baked bread! Once the bread came, I jumped right into the baguette. It was amazing! Crispy and crunchy on the outside and chewy and light on the inside, exactly what you would expect from French baguette. The butter was nice a creamy as well. All of us decided to get the muscles, oysters and formage board. The board was delicious and so were the muscles. We then ordered our dinner. I was told by the bartender across the way to get the Steak Frites with the smashed potatoes so that is what a few of us ordered. When our steaks came out, mine was unfortunately well done and super dry, as I had ordered it med. So they took my steak back and went to recook it. They also didn't bring us our smashed potatoes but rather gave us french fries, so we ask them to correct that as well. They sent us a order of just smashed potatoes and I began to eat those as I waited for my steak. Once it returned, It was very good. Great seasoning and not too tough. The smashed potatoes were also a hit.Overall, the food was really good, and the service could have been better but we did enjoy ourselves! You will too!

We stopped here pregame Vikings v bears. It was busy, but our group of 12 was able to get served drinks and have a good time. Everyone raved over the Chloe 75 cocktail. Lavender syrup and rose petals. Lovely place in an old building with beautiful terracotta outside.

Stopped in here for after dinner drinks and dessert with a friend. It was near the end of the night so we were able to walk right in and sit at the bar. Two espresso martinis and a shared dessert later and we were happy campers. Our bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered us options for customizing out drinks. Since I have a much stronger sweet tooth than my companion I opted for a sweeter martini, while she went for the more traditional. Both of us ththoroughly enjoyed our versions of the drink.I plan on going back for a proper dinner soon!

Chloe by Vincent had been on my list for a few years, and as the Minneapolis food scene steadily expanded, for some reason it was lost in the shuffle. Plus, I am not the biggest fan of French food, so I didn't make it a priority. That being said, Chloe is a lovely spot right in the heart of Minneapolis. Busy but not crowded on a Saturday evening, the open space with booths and tables alike, located on the ground floor of the Canopy Hotel, makes for a solid restaurant. Not as fancy or expensive as Maison Margaux just a few blocks away, it still exudes French French French. My only disappointment? No escargot on the menu when we visited; I have since seen they added it to their list of Plat Petite! I kept it simple with their "My French Onion Soup." A dish I have maybe had just once before, this bowl of richness really blew me away. The onions are translucent, melt in your mouth, and the broth is dark, rich and packed with flavor, almost like a gravy but oh so much lighter. The gruyere cheese bubbles off the top and forms a decadent, cheesy crust down the sides of the bowl. And finally the soft, yet still formed croutons that sit soaking in the liquid gold are just divine. My friends ordered a combination of the Beef Bourguignon, Rocky Burger, Mussels and a few cups of the soup as well and were just as impressed. I would come back this winter just for another cup of soup, and perhaps sit at the bar with a nice cocktail!

Great escargot! I've been so excited to find a place w/ GF bread to allow me to dual up that butter! Interesting drink specials. Great bar & nice ambience if you elect to sit in a window booth

We were so impressed by Chloe by Vincent. The oysters were some of the best we've had in the Midwest, and the scallops were so buttery and flavorful. The steak frites were classic and perfectly cooked. Our server was nice and attentive. The menu had something for everyone; adventurous and picky eaters alike. Definitely recommend.

There is SO much to like about Chloe by Vincent. The vibes are perfectly contemporary in the best way possible, with a refined menu with a distinct point of view. We really enjoyed our entire meal, but I must ding my review by one star due to the exceptionally long period of time between our appetizers and entree.I don't know about you, but when I'm traveling and at a particularly interesting restaurant, I'll over order in hopes of trying as many things as possible. We attempted that during our visit to Chloe, but with the 45+ minute wait for our lovely steak frites, we were beyond full when it arrived. I never mentioned it to the waiter because it ended up working out in my favor, but I was also a little frustrated to have ordered oysters, that never arrived on my table or bill. It's an easy mistake to make, but still a little frustrating in the moment. *That all being said* we really enjoyed ourselves, and will definitely be back next time we're in Minneapolis. It's VERY good, and very unassuming, totally approachable, yet ever so slightly bougie.

Chloe By Vincent is a cute modern restaurant serving up French Dishes. This place is also owned by Eato. Service was prompt and food came out surprisingly fast! The French onion soup was perfect and highly recommend but you will need 2 people to eat it if also getting a full entrée. It is not too sweet and the amount of cheese is perfect. The seafood pasta was good, not much seafood and very buttery. I think there is something about Eato pasta style I don't really like. The Crispy potatoes were standard and were good. Wish they would have been served with more aoli.the chocolate mousse was the star of the show. please save room for this. It was so rich yet balanced by the super tart berry compote. I loved the coco nib phyllo dough as it provided a good crunch.
