First time here. Make a 7:00pm reservation the day before Thanksgiving. Got in right away. The place has a nice warm atmosphere. Busy, but not too noisy. They gave us a comfortable booth in the middle of the restaurant. Our service for the entire evening was outstanding. Got our water, drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert with plenty of attention, help, and friendly banter. Thanks Rebecca. The calamari appetizer was one of the best that we have had. Light breading, tender pieces, and nicely seasoned. Got several fish entrees, and a sirloin tip salad. Everyone liked their fish. The halibut and walleye were especially good. The sides were also nicely prepared and hot. The review for the salad was that it was good (but not great, the meat could have been more tender). Finished off the meal with a piece of carrot cake. It was plenty for the 4 of us (as advised by our server). Very nice dinner. Would dine again.

When I was in college, Chianti Grill was called Ciatti's, and one of my roommates was a host there so we ate there all the time and it's long been a nostalgic favorite of mine. Back in the day, they started the service with a big bowl of salad for the table that you would serve yourself and a basket of bread. Later you would get a side salad with your entree with the option of upgrading to a Cesar. Now salads are a la carte and charged as an appetizer. A small plate of bread is still included. The chicken fettuccine alfredo used to include broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms but later just broccoli. Now there is not a vegetable at all, so it's just pasta, sauce, and chicken. Since I didn't order a salad, it was just that - bread, pasta, and chicken, for $21.95. Pretty steep for a fairly unhealthy and bland (beige) meal. Our server was beyond nice hence the extra star, but this place has really become stingy with ingredients and overpriced for what you receive.

One of the best restaurants in the entire Twin Cities metro area!Great food, impeccable service, satiating drink options with a nice wine list and cocktail list.A variety of seating options, including outdoor seating during the summer -- but we prefer the bar area when we are a two-some -- great energy, and experienced, tenured waitstaff who love their job and love to serve you. Ask for extra focaccia--it's made fresh and the best we've ever had

This restaurant is basically just an Olive Garden with higher prices. A number of couples dressed for the Senior Prom were there eating when we arrived, and that pretty much sums up the vibe of the place. We went for dinner with reservations. We were seated promptly, though in a busy section by one of 4 high school aged hosts working the front desk (which seems like too many hosts, but what do I know). Our waiter helpfully pointed out their favorite dishes and which dishes are popular and brought focaccia and olive oil with balsamic for dipping. I had the Walleye with Asparagus, and was disappointed. It was bland, flavorless, boiled whitefish with blanched and salted asparagus on the side. Did not feel worth the price to me. My wife had an angel hair pasta with Pomodoro sauce and shrimp which she enjoyed but was Olive Garden-esque in terms of presentation and complexity.

I brought my 10-year-old son here for a date night. The service we had was amazing! Our server asked our names and was thrilled that we were out on a date. She served us well and made us feel well cared for. My son ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, and I had the special which was Butternut Squash Ravioli. I'd say my son's dish was the best, but both were good. We actually saved room for a giant piece of Chocolate Cake. They say it serves 2-4 people - it was so big! Based on how well we were served, I would definitely come back here.

My husband and I went here on a date night. Everything was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was elegant but not overly fancy. I got the spicy chicken penne and it was divine. The bread that comes to the table had the best high quality olive oil with balsamic to dip in. We also got the calamari, Brooklyn style and it was delicious. Service was attentive and very classy. Dare I say I preferred this over Pittsburgh blue.... I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Chianti is always Top Notch! Service, ambiance, variety on the menu, and the drink menu. All out of the park. They mix great drinks, portions are great, and service is as good as any of the very high end restaurants I've been to. Prices are great considering this to me is more like a dining experience. Just sayin.

The food is extremely good with a decent selection. The restaurant is very nice with outdoor and bar seating as options. Prices for the pasta dishes are reasonable. The service we had yesterday is a good as it gets and food came out at a good time. Gave time to relax but didn't have to over wait. Enjoyed our evening.
