This is a very fun, lil hipster bar. Half of it is the bar, the other side is a "fun uncle" family vibe with a small couch corner, big ole TV with some old school video games and regular wall- mounted TVs for viewing. It is a small dark space which can feel a little cramped at times. I really enjoyed their funky menu items. Definitely American comfort focused. I tried the wine and dine chicken. An average serving size I was able to finish without leftovers. I enjoyed the balsamic reduction with the potatoes and mushrooms.

There used to be a Chatterbox location in St. Paul and I loved it! It was always full of people and a lot of fun to visit. Wanting to relive that experience, I visited this one. The place was nearly empty on a weekend night. Service was great because we were the only ones there. We had a talk with the owner (?) as well when he came over to check on us and see how things were. We did get a neat history of the building and the Chatterbox. The game selection was limited and a lot of the games were pretty beat-up. I may return for an event night, like karaoke, but this was definitely not the same experience as the other location. Food was all right; nothing amazing.

The Rancher's Pie is unreal. I want to go back just to eat it again. The atmosphere in this bar is also great--can't beat a dive with great tunes.

An easy 5 stars. The ambiance gives very dive bar in a residential neighborhood. Met a friend here to catch up and have some cocktails. The margarita was heavenly and well crafted. The only personal thing for me, was a poor choice of salt on the rim. But nothing I couldn't get over. The fries were delightful and we go the garlic bread dippers for a little app - wow to both. Absolutely get the beer cheese for the fries! That was ahhmazing, and can't go wrong with cheese bread, imo. The service was impeccable. We were checked on by different staff, and very frequently making sure we were good and didn't need anything else. Quick to bring out things we asked for. Friendly and kind staff too!

Ordered from them on UberEats 1.5 hours before they were closed and they had the audacity to first delay the order for 25 minutes and then they cancelled it leaving me with no other options for delivery at night. What a joke Stay away from this place

I celebrated my birthday here yesterday. My friends and I hogged several tables for three hours and still received warm, personable attention from the waitstaff (Denise was fabulous!) and owner. They shared birthday cake with us and told us stories of the pub's 100-year history (it was originally a speakeasy with a barber shop in front to disguise it!). We had fabulous food and enjoyed playing games all afternoon. This could become a go-to celebration spot. I also recommend their THC beverages. The blood orange and cardamom flavor was great. only came here for a few drinks on a saturday evening! we were seated a table in the back area, as the bar was full. very cozy, chill, family friendly vibe. The back area has old school video games and couches, along with the tables and booths. the gentleman serving us was quick and kind! drinks we tried: Violet Skies, The Perfect Manhattan, House Golden Margarita, and Chatterbox Lager. all good.

This place has seriously sub par service. . with seriously bad attitude on the part of staff. Blood Mary was a nasty tasting sludge of horror. My friends sandwich smelled like old cat food. How does this place stay in business? I think the fact that you have to wait an hour and a half to get a couple of drinks probably gives you the illusion this place is busy when in fact, everyone everyone's waiting for something. Oh and overpriced too. Nasty place!!!!!!

It's been a really fun, cute, neighborhood spot, but as of late the service has left me feeling sad. My last experience I waited ten minutes to be greeted by the bar back only to tell me that they can't pour drinks, after she had just poured another guest a beer right in front of me. I waited 13 minutes without any sort of an order being taken, and it was a pretty mild Friday night. Definitely worth a try, but kind of put a damper on my Friday night.
