Chateau St. Croix Winery

The wine was very good. Very good variety of wine. I had a tasting in which you get 5 for 15. Which I didn't think was too bad. The service was terrible very unfriendly. They blew us off I am assuming because we are not regulars. We ordered a pizza and they gave it to someone else by accident. Instead of feeling bad, they were dismissive of us. The lady on the table who got our pizza apologized. But the workers seemed to ignore us. Nice place but if you want a friendly easygoing experience skip it and go to another winery. Gave it a two because the unfriendliness brought down our night. Then my husband went up to the counter to ask a question she ignored him and talked to others behind us. Very disappointing.

Great winery with perfect ambiance. We make the trek from the Twin Cities because the atmosphere is casual but nice and the wine (the Marco V) is delicious! We bought a case last time we were there and we just ran out so we are overdue for another visit. We went for Octoberfest as well and it was lively and fun! We always take a stop at Taylor Falls as well! Worth the trip!

Chateau St Croix is surprisingly nice! I am starting to show more respect to the mid west wineries. Chateau St Croix is decent! Love the ambience and the services! The Twin Stallion and Jaune d'OR golden port are my favorite.

We are from California and we like good wines! Our friends live in MN and love coming to this winery. They took us there today. I was a little skeptical of a winery in WI! Chateau Le Croix did not disappoint! Our friends know James, who works there. Omg, he is so awesome! He knows his wine. He is so fun and he took really good care of us!! We bought a few bottles to bring home with us. We are so glad we got to experience this wonderful winery in the middle of WI farmlands!! Thank you James for everything!! We think you are awesome!!

Five stars is for the great tasting wines available. There are not many local wineries that have decent tasting wine and more than one to boot. Marco V is an exceptional red blend and a must try for wine enthusiasts and for the white wine lovers, the Wisconsin White and Minnesota White are crisp and refreshing. The front of the Chateau looks like an Italian estate and the inside is inviting and appealing but the venue center in the back, leaves you wanting more.

Beautiful grounds and building but the stars are the wines! Marco V is a favorite for me. I think just about anyone will find something they will like. If someone is an absolutely "no" on wine, there is beer available. Nice selection of cheeses, food trucks usually on site for events.

My friend and I went on a road trip, and decided to stop by on our way home. We were blown away! We recently returned from Mendoza, Argentina, visiting 10 wineries throughout our vacation. However, we can confidently say that Chateau St. Croix wines provide a strong comparison to those we had throughout Mendoza. We love our Malbec and the Thoroughbred Red was truly outstanding! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Chateau St. Croix, the service, atmosphere and especially the wine list will be your new favorite! We were going to do a "quick tasting" not long after, we walked out with 10 bottles! We will be back to try all the whites, I'm sure they are just as brilliant!

Chateau St. Croix is the place to go for AWESOME wine and a family and pet friendly atmosphere! The owners are beautiful, independent, thoughtful, caring, HARDWORKERS ;)

Spent an afternoon day date enjoying the wine, food( delicious pesto flatbread and cheese and meat platter). Played cribbage and just enjoyed sitting outside- excellent staff and ended up buying 3 bottles of wine since every one we tasted was so good- highly recommend!

What an awesome experience! Great space ~ music -vendors and them there was JO she was an amazing host ~very knowledgeable. As a customer service driven person I can honestly say she made the experience absolutely lovely ~ I watched her work and WOW great teammate shes definitely a hard worker & strives to make the experience a great one!!
