We like to take the kids to Stillwater and buzz around for a few hours and have a meal before heading back to the city. We recently had lunch at Charlie's for the first time. The food was pretty basic pub fare. We had burgers and fries, and a beer or two. While not the greatest food ever, it did the job. The service was pretty good. We came during a bit of a rush and our server was running laps to keep up, but did their best. We sat in the covered patio area in the back, which I liked because we looked out over the river. It had an "on vacation" vibe to it that I really enjoyed.

We stopped in at Charlie's restaurant and Irish pub for a quick drink and we had a great time! It wasn't very busy, but we enjoyed the ambiance and our server was very friendly! I ordered the Irish cosmo and it was very good and unique. We didn't order any food and it was a quick visit, but we enjoyed our time. I would recommend!

We came for the live music on a Friday night-it was wonderful venue for live music and enjoying a beverage (with or without alcohol), meeting friends and singing along occasionally! Friendly, efficient service from Harmony! Guinness on tap! I tried a Black & Tan (half Harp & half Guinness) since I couldn't figure out which one I wanted more! Christmas in Stillwater doesn't disappoint and this spot lives up to the holidays! Check out the Jamison Whiskey bottle Christmas tree in the pub!

We had breakfast here and it was delish! I asked for lots of hollandaise sauce and they sure gave it, nummy! The hash browns were nice and crispy too. We were the only ones in the place on a Thursday morning 10:30. Surprised as they are having an ice sculpture contest in their back yard. Food was delicious and our waitress was helpful and attentive!

Came here for drinks once. Came here a second time with my family for food and will not be coming back. Chicken wings were really dry. The Mac & Cheese for kids were literally from Krafts box and dry. The Sirloin steak we ordered was supposed to be Med. Rare. Came out almost well done. Had our waitress return it. The only good thing was probably our waitress. Really sweet and kind!

Review update-Recent meals have been hit or miss with more misses. On 4-26-23, the 4 course dinner had a very small soup and grilled cheese (photo attached) with the entree of pork chop that was over cooked, dried and tough.Do better chef. That was a disappointment.

We stumbled across this place while walking through downtown Stillwater. Glad we stopped in when we did as they had a band playing Irish music and were able to find a nice bar spot. I had a few specialty cocktails that were both great. A little more expensive, but worth it. I got a Cherry Chill Mule, which had a ton of cherry flavor. The Sinnamon Sipper was also good and was a hot drink with fireball, apple cider and cinnamon stick. We will come back here again to possibly try food as we came pretty late.

The outdoor seating is pretty nice - overlooks the River. We had the fish and chips which were really quite good. Beer selection is great - some local brews but also some Irish/English beers. Would be better if they had one cider on tap. Decent quantity of fish in the basket. Service was just fine - young servers but he did great. Their Bloody Mary's are some of the best around.
