Cedar Lake Grill

Updating to reflect how much we appreciate Cindy, Frank and their team at Cedar Lake Grill. Can't say exactly when it happened but somehow it's the first place everyone mentions when we talk about taking the family out to dinner. New this year: Bargo! Like Bingo but different.

A true Wisconsin Northwoods Bar and Restaurant. Phenomenal cheese curds the size of your fist. Fish tacos are so big, all you need is one. Top them off with an Old Fashioned. Fantastic dining.

Drive past this place. Only locals at the bar when we came in. Worst service I've ever had. We ordered cheese curds - burnt, huge and filled with orange cheese. Took 40 min to get them. We're quick in restaurants, usually 30 min in and out. This dinner took 2 hours and nothing was good. The shrimp is nasty, the burger was gross. Even the chicken sandwich was mostly bun and tasteless. Maybe the drinks are good.

Ate here for dinner last Friday and ended up getting the fish. Ended up getting the broiled as I've had bad experience with fried fish from many places, this fish was great. Nice and juicy. Along with the fish I had the baked potato that they were offering. Which was also cooked perfectly. Wife had the boar, she said it was ok but the pulled pork was a little dry. Great customer service and kept tables and menus cleaned during this unusual time and all employees had masks on.

This place is probably going to be a win for anyone looking for good food and friendly employees. Stoped in last night for the first time and the food was impressive. To top it all off they whipped up a awesome Cosmo for my wife. We will be back for sure thanks for the great food and service!!

We had a great experience with Cedar Lake Grille. For appetizers, we ordered cheese curds (jumbo size!)and buffalo chicken wings. The wings were excellent!! For meals we had burgers and a pasta dish. My husband said his pesto pasta dish was just ok but our burgers and sandwiches were great. The service was excellent, one of the best waitresses we've had in awhile (I wish I remembered her name!). She was super attentive and friendly. I'd definitely return.

Everything was amazing! The huge Bavarian pretzel could be a meal by itself! Fantastic service. Lucas was so nice. Very clean and cozy. Definitely coming back!

Great food, excellent service. Friendly atmosphere. Nice menu selection. Food portions are very satisfying.

Ordered cheese curds and they came out and weren't cooked all the way, waitress was great but asked owner what she should do and they wanted to just put them back in and cook them some more after 2 were bit into .... Told her we didn't want them anymore since our dinner had just arrived and got a well I can take them off the bill. I'd sure hope so! Subpar food for a $16 burger so don't go out of your way to eat there. Place is just minute down the road and I won't go back!

This place is quintessential WI bar/supper club. Just had the Friday fish fry - one piece fried and one piece broiled - both out of the park excellent! Highly recommend it , and if you're lucky try to get a seat outside when they have live music. Lots of fun!!Service is great, drinks are great, can't say enough positive. Hope you have a chance to check it out.
