Always always good food, decent price. I wouldn't have tonight's server on my staff however. Music ranges from the jukebox and there are games for the kids and plentiful televisions. It was clear that I wasn't recognized as a "regular" tonight.

The rats were in peak savage mode tearing up the dining room as my family of 12 walked in with our mouths wide for a giant juicy chicken onion sandwich. We were shocked in disbelief as we scanned the room, and come to our surprise not one coaster was in sight. The drinks were on the table with no barrier to the highly expensive marble diamond tables that sprawled throughout the dining room. The waiter approached us completely hammered as he stumbled and fumbled as he tried to get us our menus. They were having a rat drink special so I understand why nobody was able to stand or have any thoughts at the time. We finally make it to our table after 10 minutes because the waiter fell halfway there and started throwing up all over. Food came after 86.5 mins and I had the Chicken Onion Sandwich. 3 stars because of the rats and no coasters

It's been awhile since the hubby and I have been here. Upon entering the parking lot there seems to be no rhyme or reason on how people were parking as there didn't seem to be any lines painted in the lot.We walked in and were greeted and told we could sit anywhere, we normally like to sit at the bar, but that was full.We came for the fish fry, ordered our first cocktails and noticed our bombay sapphire and tonic had funny taste( aww, maybe it's the tonic). Waitress brought us 2 warm rolls to eat while we were waiting. Ordered our second drink and made sure we ordered the gin with seltzer this time. Interesting we are still getting that funny after taste. Come to the conclusion that the tap line that dispenses the tonic/seltzer must need to be cleaned, and that was where that aftertaste is coming from. (and no I didn't mention this to the bartender)The bar opened up and we moved into the open seats. Our fish baskets were delivered and were nice and hot with 2 nice pieces of fish and a lot of fries. Disappointed that it was served with packages of tarter sauce. I did ask if they make their own and yes, but they had run out. I thought the fish was good and finished my 2 pieces, however hubby thought it was mushy and not flaky like he likes it. The fish was cod,but not those thick cut pieces that when you dig in with your fork it's white and flaky. They have a lot of bottled beer mostly the miller type, there was only 1 craft beer on tap we discovered later. This place is popular with the locals and there has been some decor update since the last time we had been there. The entire staff was friendly and everyone worked as a team.

Best restaurant in Castle Rock! (Also the only restaurant in Castle Rock....) Servers are slow to warm up to newcomers, but it's worth getting to know the place if you live in the area. I'm guessing they're partial to locals in reaction to the summertime influx of bikers and cyclists. But hey, Castle Rock and Roll serves good, affordable food; they've got a great fish fry; and they offer limitless free popcorn. A motorcycle crash happened outside the restaurant while we were eating dinner one night and the servers were extremely quick to respond. Three people from inside the restaurant were immediately on the scene to provide emergency medical care. We were very impressed by how it was handled.

Went on Saturday afternoon with as a party of 3. Place is off a snowmobile trail and was busy when we ordered. 30 min after placing the order and seeing food delivered to people that came in after us, we seeked out the cause for delay. Excuses all around and food would be out shortly. 20 min later my Patty Melt arrives and the bread is burnt beyond belief and fries are cold. Couldn't eat so it was sent back. The meal is remade in less than 5 min. Unfortunately, it looks like a meat ball covering less than half my bread. NO way is this a half pound. This place is nothing special. If this place is busy dont bother to stop because the service and quality is lacking. The prices are not that expensive. Even so, this was a very poor meal.

Sat down, had to go up to the bar to ask for service. 10 mins later they show up. They come back with our drinks after about 5 mins. Sure enough group of rats gets released, and ravages the dining area. All our drinks spilled and the waiter didn't come to take our orders for the next hour due to the water sprinklers going off because the rats cause a kitchen fire. The police showed up and come to find out they had a underground crack bunker filled with a bunch of meth addicts including the owner. The waiter came back with our food. I had ordered a pizza and spilt it with OJ. He liked the pizza and I did too. We love this restaurant, and we annually come back every 5th day of the Moon season leap year. Great place.

Always the perfect stop. My favorite time to go is during the winter, coming off the snowmobile trail and getting some hot food. The servers are always friendly, and food is always good.

Great atmosphere. Great TV setup for watching sports. Their Prime Rib night is worth the drive. Friendly staff. We had a few appetizers before dinner that were great. All they need is copper mugs for Moscow Mules...lol
