Why am I just now discovering carousel and folk?? I was doom scrolling Facebook marketplace in search of a perfect couch for our living room. When all of a sudden, this gorgeous orange velvet couch caught my eye. It was listed at this location so I had to go check it out. Within minutes of sitting on it at the store my decision was made. I'm the proud new owner of this sweet vintage orange velvet couch! I love the uniqueness of it and it's perfect in our living room. The couch was in great condition and even had new foam in the cushions. Lindsey (co-owner) was so sweet. The look on her face when we told her we were buying it was priceless. She was so excited for us and told us the background of where the couch came from, so cool! We were able to purchase it and pick it up that same day, peep the pics!! The store itself was put together so nicely. So many small vintage pieces for home decor and for a great price. It's all street parking but there was plenty of it in the quiet south minneapolis neighborhood. You can also enjoy the store online and even purchase in-store items through the website.

One of my favorite vintage stores in the twin cities! They always have the best curation of mid century / vintage boho decor and furniture. They have amazingly beautiful plants as well as a good selection of outerwear. vintage flannels, denim jackets and more. They always have cool leather boots, silk scarves and vintage purses/handbags. Super reasonably priced and so friendly!

Absolutely obsessed! Everything about this store is aesthetically pleasing including their instagram, which I'd recommend checking out - you can even purchase items directly through there. They sell home decor, clothing, bags, plants, candles...so many beautiful things. And plenty of wicker/rattan items, my favorite! :) I love supporting a local business that is eco friendly/sustainable since the items are resale/vintage/handmade. The store is spacious so it's very relaxing to stroll around, looking at each item. There's no one over your shoulder pressuring you to buy anything, but at the same time the owner was readily available to offer assistance if needed. Of course the prices are higher than a chain thrift store but that's because the items are handpicked, cleaned, and sorted. And the best part - they allow dogs inside and even had dog treats by the door!
