Carmine's Bar & Grille

Met up with a friend for happy hour on a Tuesday afternoon The restaurant and bar area were pretty busy for a Tuesday. Bingo is played at 6:00 on Tuesdays and by about 5:45 the entire place was jam packed with an older crowd ready to play! I did notice that the restaurant brought in extra wait staff and an extra bartender to handle the bingo rush. Well done. Casey was the girl behind the bar and she was lovely. Very kind and fast. She greeted me immediately as I sat down and brought me a menu. Checked on me regularly and had a number of selections from the food menu to recommend. The second bartender that came in, Chris, was just as awesome. These two employees alone made the visit worth while. I ordered the Carnitas Tacos as a recommendation. They were just fine. Served in flour tortillas, not ideal. The pork was tender and juicy but under seasoned. Pineapple salsa was decent. Salsa Verde could have been a little spicier. This is an Italian restaurant so I can't be too mad about tacos. Overall I had a nice experience and the food was good enough to intrigue me into coming back. This could easily be a 4 star next visit.

Came to this restaurant for lunch. Wasn't sure what to expect. Left blown away...The very best wings (order Sriracha) and French Fries you will find in MSP surrounding.

First time and only came for the Monday - Carmine's Steak Dinner Special $13.95. Based on the photos I expected this place to be between a sports bar and restaurant. We shared Italian Chicken Wings as an appetizer. Loved the dry rub. Steaks came out fairly quickly after we finished the appetizers. It came with a side salad and mashed potatoes. Decent portions and quality for the price. We even got complimentary bread and butter. Normally I don't order dessert, don't have the room for it. But the server said staff favorite is the caramel sea salt cookie sundae. We ended up sharing it and that was delicious! Overall we had a great meal and service.

I was looking forward to trying more of their food but their staff acted way too snotty - even for West Bloomington. The manager was a tool and skipped my TouchTunes selection. I guess he likes one republican and Jerry Bieber but can't stand Thin Lizzy and Foghat. Northstar tavern nearby has better looking and nicer staff

Been three times.. disappointed 2 out of three. Ambiance .. sports bar but acoustics ok..Service friendlyFood not so good. Maui tacos... just warm.. lacked any flavor.. description promised lime and cilantro.. couldn't detect.. could have been mayonnaise.. chips were barely warm.. and hard... fresh? Don't think so. Guacamole was size of a quarter.. ordered two additional as it was pretty good... but at a charge.Waitress said no one else had ever complained about the tacos..my friend with the same entree felt the same. Probably won't go back.

Ample parking just off Normandale and 90th. Tucked in the middle of Normandale Village.Large foyer; huge circle bar; booths along the south windows; large side dining room with tables. A great selection of appetizers and glorious chicken wings my favorite!Several pasta dishes, sandwiches, salads and burgers. They get to know you by name and servers so friendly. We enjoy the warmth and neighborhood vibe of a great meeting place! I just found out they have Tuesday night bingo so more to report o once .We go. Some weeks the pot is $1000 always to be announced by pull tab booth!$2.00 off select drinks and beer during happy hour.

A Bloomington Bar/Grill that is average. They offer breakfast on Sundays which isn't something I'd make a special trip for but could address a hangover. They have bingo on Tuesday night at @6p to support local youth sports teams. $10 for 10 games and 3 opportunities to buy extra boards for the bigger pot rounds. The chicken stripes here are some of the BEST I've had at a bar/grill. Ordering during happy hour (4p-6p M to F) and get half off!

Have been here a few times now. Usually I belly up to the bar to relax and have dinner and a drink. The bartenders are a mix of funny and good conversationalists. Must be a decent amount of regulars based on the conversations. That's a great sign. Will continue to return and enjoy the light atmosphere, good food and great service.

Y'all our server was IT! she was so great, so friendly, so awesome! They have a good happy hour that ends at six. Good deals on drinks and $3 off apps!We got cheese curds and they come with a lot! Shared between two and we couldn't finish it. I also ordered the southwest burger and it was so yummy. They top it with guac pico and coleslaw and they do not skimp on it!!The place was really busy (no surprise as it was delicious!) but they served us food SO FAST. This place is great!

Great food, nice selection on tap, pull tabs, friendly service. Solid place to watch sports. Will be back for sure.
