I walked in, hoping for a warm cup and a welcoming environment to get some work done. What I encountered instead was a lesson in exclusion, a sense of not belonging that was both unsettling and all too familiar.Today I went into a Caribou Coffee, the one located at 185 Century Ave S, Woodbury, MN 55125, with the manager on duty, Marnie. When I arrived after a 30 minute drive from Minneapolis, there was a customer at the counter ordering. I waited patiently for the cashier to complete the order. Then, I asked the unthinkable;...May I have the code to the restroom? Are you gonna order something? Yes, do you mind if I get the code to the restroom first? I can put your order in right now. I'm sorry, is there a problem with giving out the code to the restroom? Let's get your manager involved!Manager Marnie: "I heard him ask you if you were planning on ordering something." Me: "Okay!" Did you see the laptop backpack on my shoulder indicating that maybe I was at a coffee shop to work? Did you see my dog tags around my neck indicating that I am a veteran? The very same one that you will offer a free hot brewed coffee to on Veterans Day, November 11? Or did you see something else?"That's okay, Manager Marnie. I've learned to recognize when I am not welcomed, when I am being excluded, and I'm good with that. But I will keep my promise to you. I am going to give you some free advertising. Don't go to the Caribou Coffee located at 185 Century Ave S, Woodbury, MN 55125 unless you want to feel less than human, as if you are not valued and as if you don't belong. Unless you agree that coffee should be best served after removing someone's dignity!

I frequently travel between my home in Milwaukee and Minneapolis, where most of my family is, and I always stop at this Caribou Coffee both on the way in and out of the Twin Cities. We aren't lucky enough to have Caribous in Wisconsin outside of a handful in Festival Foods in southern Milwaukee County, so I only get the privilege of Caribou's phenomenal offerings when I'm in the Twin Cities. My go-to order is a large cold brew with mint syrup (the full portion of syrup because calories in coffee drinks mean nothing to me), and I can honestly say it's my favorite cold brew of any coffee place, chain or local, that I've ever had. It blows Starbucks out of the water, and it beats all of the local places I frequent in Milwaukee as well. I also typically get their sausage biscuit sandwich if it's the morning, and this specific location always makes it perfectly--the biscuit is always soft and crumbly, the sausage and egg are portioned just right, and it's piping fresh and clearly was just made (yes, I realize they might make it from a frozen sandwich in all likelihood, but they could pre-make them and let them sit underneath a heater like McDonald's does instead, so I appreciate that they don't). It's the perfect size and is great for a filling breakfast.I usually order ahead on the app to make sure I get my Caribou points, and the employees always make the transaction super smooth and quick. Even if there's a long line ahead of me in the drive thru, by the time I get to the window, it's a quick hand-off and then I'm off, exactly what I want when I'm trying to get drive thru coffee, and the customer service I receive from the employees in the short time I interact with them is way better than anything I receive at other places like Starbucks.

Delicious coffee, plenty of beverage options, and a friendly and attentive staff. What more could you ask for? Also, some food options in the way of donuts / bagels (I focused strictly on the coffee myself so that parts a blur) but there is food! Cake pops too!

Normally, they are fairly decent. I usually get an iced vanilla matcha tea latte, so there tends to be foam on top, but lately when I've been ordering it, it's been over half the drink that's foam. It's really disappointing to be paying $7-$8 a drink and most of it you can't even have. I also ordered bubbles with my most recent order and they completely forgot them, but they were all so busy and I knew I would be standing there for awhile until they noticed me (which takes awhile sometimes. I often just order through the app, but the few times I order at the register, it takes them a few minutes to actually notice me and take my order) so I left because I had to get back to work. I also ordered a blueberry cream cheese croissant to be warmed up and they didn't even do that. Whats the point of ordering something to be warmed if they aren't even going to do it? This is a super disappointing experience at an otherwise relatively decent place.

if possible i would give this caribou a zero ! i've been to this caribou countless times and every time my drink or my order is messed up. I go back a lot because it's very close to me and because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Either my drink is too milky or it's a completely different drink that I ordered. This caribou has completely lost my business and I'm very disappointed because the workers are very kind, but apparently they don't know how to take orders probably and they never read it out back to make sure they have it correct. very very upset for all the money i've wasted in this company.
