Caribou Coffee

We had 2 completely different experiences here during our stay. First, drinks were great. Nice latte and spiced tea lattes... The next time, we were served coffees while paying for lattes. This was compounded a bit by having to convince them that the drinks were not lattes.Egg sandwiches are good, not memorable. We tried many different ones. Some were dry, including the burrito and wrap. One time, the person we placed an order with said that he couldn't tell us about the sandwiches bc he didn't know anything about them?!Limited seating depending on time of arrival and whether or not someone has "set up office".

Caribou Coffee makes wonderful drinks! They have a couple of sugar free options, which is important to me, and they have lots of different things to choose from. I love their holiday collection - the vanilla oat nog latte is delicious Definitely recommend you give this a try! Plus, the stores are always decorated nice, are clean, and have a cozy place to relax or check your email.

We stopped by this coffee shop a couple of times while staying at the hospital. Overall there wasn't anything special about this location, but they were doing everything correct. They have a fun trivia sign near the counter, if you get the question right you get $.10 off of your drink. Every time we stopped by our orders were always made quickly and they were correct. Our last visit was when the mask mandate started to end. I was pleasantly surprised to see employees still wearing their mask and in good spirits. If you're in the area looking to get your coffee fix on I recommend stopping into this one. As a chain it typically delivers exactly what you're used to. I recommend the cold brew as well as the breakfast sandwiches. Although no one had any complaints about their anything else they ordered

Caribou is a local chain of coffee shops. I like coffee and I like to sit in nice places when I drink it. Caribou locations are generally good and comfortable...and they make good coffee.The staff members are all upbeat, happy and efficient and, when they sell you a stale piece of cake by mistake, they are happy to apologize profusely, and immediately replace it with something better.I like Panera, I like Starbucks...But, in my opinion, Caribou is the pick of the litter. If you're in need of a coffee in downtown Rochester, this is a great place to go.

Meh vibe from staff. Not welcoming- would like to see a lunch menu. On yelp they are listed as having a wonderful looking lunch menu- but no go. Even after I showed her on my phone- asked her if this was the right address....yes....The employee looked at me like I was 'clueless' when I asked about it. I said do you want management to know? 'Nah- I'm sure they already know...' I left for another caribou location with a more extensive menu for lunchtime. Won't be back.

I really enjoyed the mocha nitro cold brew. I ordered the nitro with dark chocolate and skim milk and surprisingly I did not miss the regular milk at all. It was the perfect balance of sugar, milk and coffee topped with a creamy whipped cream. I also got the lemon poppy seed cake which was okay but not great. It did not taste as fresh as I hoped.

A little caffeine fuels my day and makes me a better person!This specific location is conveniently located across the street from St. Marys Hospital and adjacent to the Canadian Honker's Restaurant on 2nd Ave. The parking lot is shared with the restaurant, but if it's full, street parking is another option. I was fortunate though, because my hotel was only about a block away, I would just walk over.This was my hangout many times when I just wanted to chill with a cup of Americano and my laptop. The free WiFi and many outlets was a definite plus for me beause I'm really bad about keeping my junks charged up.After several visits, I finally wised up and downloaded the app. Caribou Coffee has some pretty awesome deals and perks that are similar to that coffeebucks place, but to me, it's better. Like they have these deals on Tuesdays, where you could get any two things on the menu for $5. This popped up on my app twice while I was there. Deal, right? Especially if you're into blended or specialty drinks.Service was great and the staff was friendly and fun.Since Caribou Coffee is a Minnesota based company, you can find easily find them almost anywhere in the state.

Caribou is a fun little coffee chain. They have loads of options and the coffee seems good. The staff at this location is great. It is within walking distance to my hotel so it's very convenient.I love all of the Minnesota souvenir items they have for sale. Many fun items to choose from. I struggle not buying a couple mugs to take home in my suitcase.

You know what Caribou is like in all aspects except this specific environment, so that's what I'll discuss. This is one of the loudest caribou's I have found. I've tried twice to do some work and study, but it isn't a fitting environment. If you are looking to do a meeting over coffee this could be an option, but if you are looking for a coffee shop to read or work alone, you might want to find somewhere else. There is a variety of seating options including outside.

I use the app to order ahead all the time on my way into work. My drink is always ready on time and the staff has always been very kind!
