"I love bargains, yet I have ridiculously expensive taste.Enter GH2. My new best friend, who I want to love and squeeze and take with me everywhere I go.My first visit had something happen that has never happened to me before: browsing through the racks, I just kept... FINDING STUFF. Tons of great styles, most with price tags that felt like I was getting some kind of shady underground deal on top designers. I actually had to hold myself back and talk myself out of things that were too similar or too much like what I already had. Otherwise I would have come home with a whole new closet.The staff was very low-key, but quick to get me started with a fitting room once they saw me going bananas with an armload of stuff. The woman at the register even gave a little backstory on the designers who I had not heard of but adored their pieces. Just a fabulous experience, really.I keep trying not to go back, but I don't think that's going to work as we start to transition into a new season. Take my money, GH2. TAKE IT ALL."

Typically the owner is playing some awesome Lucinda Williams while you browse which makes me very happy and I sing along while checking out the goods. You will find a little seasonal decor up front and they have a bit of jewelry. Tucked in the back is my favorite area where you can get some art prints and gift books from local artist like Jodi Hills......This is a very tiny store crammed with some great little trinkets.....Stop by pick up a card for a friend get yourself something new and cool..."

"This store is a rare gem at Rosedale Mall in Roseville, MN. I was Christmas shopping and just happened to notice all of the interesting jewelry and vintage clothes they had on display in the windows.I noticed that they had foldable handbag hooks, which are all the rage, on the net. I asked the owner about them and he said that they really do work! He took one out of the package and showed me, and I was amazed! They really do work!So I had to buy one for myself, of course, and one as a Christmas present for a friend.The selection of scarves, purses, shoes and jewelry... oh my! Gorgeous! Not to mention they also had dresses, shirts, skirts... I can't remember everything now. If you are looking for them, they are on the upper level of Rosedale Mall, just outside of JC Penney. I know... A vintage shop in a mall? Outside of JC Penney? Unheard of, right? But it's true! So cute. And such a good selection too!"

"Butterfly collars should never go out of style, ever. Just being real, here. Butterfly collars are truly fly, and they look just as good on women as they do men. Polyester, that can go, but butterfly collars should be mandatory, generation to generation. Big fat triangular ribbons of neck-wraps announce that you mean bidness. That's how Golden Pearl rolls.This novice take on the styles of Golden Pearl centers on the 70's, a decade fraught with horror (Bee Gees -- love 'em, but the chest hair! -- Watergate, polyester and cocaine), and the joys of the disco ball, women in the workplace, it was a turbulent time. I'm guessing I saw the owner, Audra, when we visited, girlfriend was seriously decked out in 70's gear and girlfriend looked the part, plaid slacks and loose blouse, even her spectacles matched an era almost 50(!) years back. I'm sure she'd dispute this, because all I did was peruse the men's section, but her emphasis in my section was 70's, fairly-priced for the era ($30-50 shirts), the selection was well preserved and definitely, defiantly funky. We left the store empty-handed but seriously impressed. Ladies will love the selection here, and the price point is fair. Clean, super organized, and retro beyond measure, go."

"Patina needs to take a good long look at CorAzoN (especially in terms of customer service) for some pointers. I know that Patina is held in a super high regard in this area, but I just don't get it. Their employees always act like they have somewhere better to be and 90% of their merchandise is just overpriced gift basket filler.This CorZaoN is small, but everything they carry is really high quality and feels one-of-a-kind (some of it is) and unique. You won't find $10 head scratchers here and you won't walk out feeling like you just wasted your time. Most importantly, the staff are helpful but give you your space (I hate going into tiny stores only to feel like I'm being watched the entire time because there is absolutely nothing else to occupy the employee's time.) The parking is kind of questionable - there is customer-only parking which is usually full, but there are other spots right next to those. I'm not sure if they belong to the condos above the stores because they aren't marked, so I always wonder if I'm going to get towed if I park in them. So, four stars it is."

"I stopped by the shop to sell clothing that I no longer fit because I've lost a lot of weight.The owner and one employee were in store when I arrived. I'd made contact on facebook with some questions, so I was already accustomed to great customer service. I'd never sold clothes before, so I did research on their site so that I'd get it right. The FAQ about the shop and what to expect from selling clothes is spot on and very informative. I perused some of the items available as I waited for my items to be reviewed. There is some really killer stuff here! It was a very good vibe of body positivity that seems so rare in shops that cater to those who wear larger sizes. I have to admit that it was the first time that I'd felt a little uncomfortable. It wasn't the people in the store who made it so. I'd never really thought that much about how much of a negative atmosphere there is around plus-size fashion. I'd been so immersed in it that I didn't notice know that being in a place that's the complete opposite could feel so good.I recommend anyone, and everyone, who wears plus sizes to shop here. The people are like the clothes: Fantastic and one of a kind. Total gems."

"This review should really be 3.5 stars, but considering my last review was 3 stars, I guess it all evens out.Saw a dress by Kokoon (local lablel) I liked the other day, but they didn't have my size. The owner was happy to call them and have them bring one in my size over. Owner called. I went in. I loved it. Loved it. Totally casual chic, no wrinkle type material with a ton of different fall-ish colors that will allow me to mix and match it perfectly with other items in my closet. It wasn't cheap, but not over the top either. The amount I'll wear it will probably make up for the semi-splurge. Very happy."

"New developments keep springing up around town, but it took Facebook for me to find this gem!It's a Texas based chain that has a Redken brand hair salon on one side with a cute, mindful boutique on the other.So I needed a style for my hair since it grows so fast, but haven't settled on a regular stylist in my 15+ years in town. Sad. I think I've at least found my new favorite salon! I called on a Friday and got in for a cut on Saturday.The receptionist was so friendly and informative! She made me a cup of Keurig coffee and explained the basic concept. Then she introduced me to Sammi my hairstylist.Sammi gave me a tour then we chatted about the best style for me. I got a shampoo with the best scalp massage ever! Seriously if you just go for a trim get it done here for the massage and the lovely aroma of products.She worked her magic as I sipped on coffee and read all of the inspirational quotes around the room. She also took before and after photos. Guys, I'm a hair model now!!Since it was February they were doing a kiss a card donation deal plus you got a discount on the bare essentials brand cosmetics. Totally worked for me since I needed contour powder and can't resist a new lip color.Plus since it was my first visit I got a discount on a hair product, Redken of course. Awesome! Sadly I couldn't talk them into any more discounts when I found a cute shirt on the boutique side I needed to have.Though I can't seem to style it as cute as Sammi did I'm really happy with the cut and we have plans to color it in March! "Plato's is a bit like an upscale Saver's. It's a nice place to find gently used clothing. They had a nice variety of both women's and men's clothing, hats, footwear. There are changing rooms where you can try the clothing on. Yes, the prices are a bit more than you'll find at a thrift store, but Plato's is more of a consignment store. As a result, the clothing tends to be in slightly better condition."

"This little shop is super cute! It's very small but set up nicely. The pricing is decent for a boutique and I even thought a few things were on the lower end. I love that a lot of the stuff is handmade by Minnesota vendors. The reason I had to mark down a star is because the staff person working was very quiet as if she didn't care or was just very shy. I was the only person in the store and she did acknowledge me when entering but then didn't even look at me the rest of the time until I checked out. It's hard to describe but I wasn't impressed nor disappointed. It's a cute place and they have some good finds but I don't feel the need to visit often."

"A great little gift store on grand avenue in St. Paul with a wide variety of clever gift items. I find myself making the trek from the west side at least once a year, usually for the holidays, and always find a few clever stocking stuffers and small gifts for family and friends. The also sell hand made jewelry and women's clothing along with toys, and hundreds of carefully chosen items in a wide variety of prices. You can easily spend 30 minutes or more browsing the collection as it is a bit of a treasure hunt with the large amount of items displayed in little clusters of shelves around the modest sized store.Parking on the street can be tight but if you are a bit patient, you can find a spot."

"This is a cute, affordable boutique on Main Street and they get points for being open on New Years Day when many Main Street stores were closed! I tried on faux leather jackets, over sized sweaters, clearance summer striped shirts, Spanx black leather pants, army camouflage jeans. They had jewelry too. The most expensive item was $84 and some of the clearance items were about $25. I am a more bright colored girl so known this store leans to the neutrals. The employee was very friendly and welcoming and I would not hesitate to stop in again any time I was back in town to check out their latest offerings."

"This is a great place for someone who wants an upscale, gala-worthy outfit that doesn't look like a prom dress. Dugo has a strong collection of upscale and somewhat-reasonable ($500- $1000) dresses by top designers, including Monique Lhuiller and Armani. One particular ML dress was insanely difficult to pass up, with a criss-cross, athletic back and a full ballgown skirt, and it actually set me on a path to the wedding dress I ended up finding, and loving, elsewhere.They have a wide selection of styles and the ability to order pretty much anything you want, in any color you want, in any fabric you want. The sales ladies are total champions who will love on you and happily tow dresses in and out of dressing rooms. We came back here a second time to look for a mother-of-the-bride dress, and though Dugo delivered (and how) on a dress that was insanely stylish, elegant, and customizable, we ended up not being able to stomach the $1400 price tag. BUT THE DRESS: think Diane Lane from Under the Tuscan Sun. It was gorgeous.But, you know: $1400. So I guess the moral here is: if you can swing the prices, you will look freaking amazing."

"I visited Buffalo Exchange this previous weekend with a couple friends after another friend recommend it, having got much of her wardrobe from there. Upon walking in, we felt welcomed by the front desk employee and were already in awe of their amazing wardrobe and style! The three of us searched through the many racks, each item in great condition and fairly priced. We all found at least one item we knew our wardrobe needed. We didn't have to wait even a moment at the dressing rooms, there was someone staffing it the entire time, so very kind and helpful! There was an instance where an individual entered with maybe some mental illness or substance use, and the staff handled it wonderfully - ensuring the individual was not forced outside in the cold and handled it professionally (did not see details as a customer but only good interactions and the individual being pleased/responsive and treated very humanly). Just another reason to come back here . I found a couple great items and am already planning to return. I also really liked the bag/ 5 cent token that you can choose a non-profit/cause for. Highly recommend!!!"

I'd just pop in to some awesome store, play dress up and then come back through my wardrobe like the Pevensie children.Anyway, Parc Boutique would definitely be one of my fashion portal stops. I follow the owner Thao on Twitter and Pinterest because she has amazing taste, so I should've known how much I'd like this store. It had been a while since my first visit to Parc (when I was young and broke), so my visit last week felt like the maiden voyage. There's a balance of affordability and higher-fashion style here, which I appreciate because that is a balance I try to find on a daily basis. There's a great selection of dresses, tops, jewelry, denim and more---all priced and curated well.The bauble table was where I had the most trouble saying goodbye. I saw the most interesting geometric pendant priced at about $75 (as usual, my eye wanders to one of the most expensive things on the table). Though I couldn't bring myself to drop the cash, I was compelled to put it on my Christmas list eight months in advance."

"I stopped into Shop In The City a few weeks ago and was a bit more impressed with the merchandise than my first visit. If you're looking for a gift for a lady or a kid, you could definitely find something here... and something really cute. I tried on scarves and ogled coffee table books for quite a while before removing myself from the premises. There's also a large kids section, plus plenty of scented candles, jewelry, novelties and journals.As I mentioned in my older review, it's kind of like a Patina or a Bibelot, but it's not a big chain. It is a very small local chain, actually, since there is another shop in the Fulton neighborhood. And I feel much better about supporting them than the big guys."
