"My sister-in-law had her Naturalization ceremony in St. Paul so we wanted a place to eat afterwards. I had heard the Red Cow was known for its burgers so we chose it for Arlin's brother who was in town from Vancouver. Glad we were able to find parking in the small lot! This venue has an outdoor patio which we considered but it was a little too humid. The service - once they made a table for 8 - was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Cheese curds for the table were a hit!My hubby and niece had the 60/40 burger (beef & bacon) and while they liked it, the candied bacon topping was a little too sweet. The burgers are thick so if you like a beefy patty, these are for you!The grilled cheese I had was the best I've eaten in a long time. Overall a successful outing!"
"Probably my favorite restaurant in the twin cities right now. Every time I come back I'm left impressed and satisfied. Try any of the dishes with the white sauce. It is so creamy and velvety."

"Sat at the bar. Got the onion rings appetizer and an OF. The old fashion was a little sweet for my liking. We didn't have dinner but based on the looks of the food all around us everything looked amazing. Some of the best onion rings I've ever had. Bar was lowkey and we walked right in and sat down during peek dinner hours. Will definitely be back for the onion rings and hopefully dinner"
"5 stars all the way from California! Nightingale food and cocktails will always be one of my favorite places in Minnesota! I will forever be dreaming about the mushroom toast appetizer, OMFG so amazing!!! If you're looking for a fun, intimate, delicious restaurant then Nightingale is the place for you. Please review my food pics on the items you have to try. My absolute favorites is the mushroom toast and the green curry mussels! Holy shhhhhh, these dishes are bursting with flavor. Something about that green curry sauce, I feel like I can drink an entire bowl of that alone. On the night we visited, they had a live DJ playing vibey, throwback 90's R&B, I was all about it having a good ol' time! Can't say anything bad about this spot, all good good good things. Can't wait for my next visit back to the Midwest for that good good!"
"I love Estelle's. If you want great tasting consistent food this is your place. On street parking."
"Wow, just wow. Best meal of the year, from all four of us. The poached shrimp, cavatelli with lobster, the duck breast with wild rice. There being four of us, we were able to sample pretty much the entire four course fixe prix menu. Doll and I dine out quite often, this was the best of the year. Each dish elicited moans from all of us, the flavors were spot on.Got to thank both Joan & Susan personally, and told them the same thing, best meal of the year for all of us. It was a little pricy but, you are served perfection, in each dish."
"Great food, great bar. I highly recommend their house Old Fashioned. Bar service can be a bit slow when's it's busy, but that's to be expected."
"We tried Redstone American Grill for the first time to celebrate our 33rd Anniversary. We had a memorable experience. The steaks was exceptional and the Key Lime Pie outstanding. Our server Amy was very attentive and helpful the entire evening. Exceptional customer service from all the employees. Ambiance was also exceptional."
"The food was amazing! Service was fast and very pleasant. Apart from that this place is super cute! The whole look of it, is what attracted my group. Next time im up in ripley, I will definitely be eating here and introducing more of my buddies to this place!!"
"This small menu packs a big punch! Stepchld has been on our list for ages, and as burger fans, we were dying to try theirs. The price point is pretty steep for some of their menu items and the space is small so you'll need a dinner rezy even on a weeknight, but some of their menu items are worth it!Ambiance is 10/10 here - the kitchen is fully open so you get to see them preparing everything. If I go back, I'll request a bar seat as close to the kitchen as possible! We tried the:- sweet potato fritters: delish, kinda like cornbread- ethiopian birria tacos: these were flavorful but felt like a small portion for the cost - burger: THIS is what you need to have when you come here! It's been my husband's favorite in MN to date even after trying multiple others in the metro. All in all a 4.5/5 experience for us! We'll be back to try their WildChld, and I know my husband will want another burger there stat."
"Came here for restaurant week specials! The starter was nice! It's a spoon with a little treat from the kitchen. (It's basically fancy hummus)I had the risotto, potato gnocchi, and the olive oil cake for the restaurant week specials. (February 2023)The risotto was great! I was anticipating getting some crackers or bread to eat with the risotto but didn't need it as it was full of flavor on its own! It had sweet and savory profiles that changed with each bite! The gnocchi was also a great dish, each gnocchi was very smooth, buttery and melts in your mouth as you chew. I was hesitant to try the pork cheek but it was very good! It does not have a strange chewy texture, it feels like a regular piece of meat, just slightly more tender. The sauce was very savory, kind of like a gravy. Overall the entire dish came together nicely. Finally, the star of the night had to be the olive oil cake! It had the consistent of a pound cake, with a nice orange taste and a scoop of gelato! P.S. the lighting is dim, the back patio is heated AND very warm. The servers will take all your silverware after each course and replace it. Parking is limited behind the restaurant but street parking is pretty accessible."
"Surprise visit to one of the restaurants on my Yelp wishlist for our anniversary - YAY! I had no idea we were coming here and it was such a pleasant surprise. Petite Leon is a bar/restaurant in Minneapolis with a cozy, elevated feel. The dark, low lighting makes it perfect for dates or other intimate gatherings, and the food is outstanding. We ordered the Steak Frites Au Poivre and Le Cheeseburger which were SO good. I love a burger that melts in your mouth and I can't stop thinking about the crust on the steak. Incredibly flavorful and well balanced. My margarita was also top tier and I actually loved that the side of the glass was coated in salt. Our server was amazing. Friendly, professional and attentive. We got the wrong check at the end but they called immediately and are getting it resolved. It can easily become a splurge, but if you're looking for the lounge-like feel of a speakeasy, good drinks, and really impressive food, Petite Leon should be near the top of your list."

One of our favorite places to grab drinks or lunch/dinner. Service is always great, menu is simple and food is consistent. Get the 60/40 burger ... so good! And they make a really good Bourbon Old Fashioned. Nice vibe always crowded and good energy.

Called to place a to go order at 5:50pm. Spoke with Lily to place the order, she said it'd be ready in 25 min. My husband goes in to pick up and pay. Bartender said he couldn't find the order, asked if we called the right location, my husband said his wife spoke with Lily. Yes Lily works the front desk. She never gave the kitchen our order. Offered him a free ginger ale for the inconvenience and said he'd get the kitchen to rush the new order. Really a free ginger ale, wow. Ground breaking. The least he could do is speak to a manager and offer a 10% discount or a free dessert since it was New Year's Eve. Food was delicious as usual but service could be better.

Nightingale is a go to between my friends. When I moved to Minneapolis, I was told to come here for their espresso martinis, which are decent, but I've had better at a few other spots. I do really like their french fries and try to order some every time I come in. I was not the biggest fan of the scallops when I ordered them the first time, but their shrimp toast was delicious. Last time I was in, my girlfriend and I ordered both the west and east coast oysters (west coast was a winner) and I will be getting those again! The staff is always lovely and attentive when I visit.

Went here for date night, on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. The wine was very nice, and the house Pilsner was also good. We ordered the bacola (? I think that's how you spell it) , which are potato and cod fritters with this amazing habenero tartar sauce. Those were awesome! For our mains, we got the burger and rigatoni. I was expecting a lot from the rigatoni, based on all the reviews. But it was really just okay. It was very soupy, like weirdly soupy, so I wonder if I maybe just got a bad batch? The flavors were good, but all the sauce was just dripping off and it was really just mediocre. The sausage was very good though to make up for it. The burger was pretty good, but it's hard to mess up a burger, and for the price of 22 dollars, not really worth it. They did give us some churros complimentary, which was a really nice touch. But all in all, the service was kinda weird. Our server always came at awkward times, and wasn't super attentive. All in all it was decent! A nice spot, but overpriced.

It was our first time dining here. We knew it was a 4 course type experience with just a few selections for each course. The venue is very small with limited seating both inside and outside. So reservations are a must. The bar is also very small with only 4 chairs. The building is nice, the inside is quaint and cozy, with nice decor and dining tables/chairs. The outside is completely covered but the tables and chairs are patio style so a little hard to sit-up and eat close to table. Now the cocktails and food. We started off with the French-45 & 43 cocktail/mock tails. They were very good, but obviously the mock tails are a bit too sugary. The first course was the bread and eclairs. I thought their version of the eclair with a thin sliced ham on top was really good. Very sweet and salty. The next course we had the beef tartare and shrimp dish. Both were fantastic. The next course we had the hominy and quinoa dishes, again both were great. I think the quinoa was better, more flavor and of course lobster. The final course we had the filet mignon and the vegetarian dishes. The Filet was one of the best we've had in some time. The vegetarian dish was tasty, and the dried beet chips added a nice crunch. We finished with dessert, the caramel pudding and chocolate cake. Both were great. I'd give the food 5 stars for quality and presentation. The service was very good, everyone was polite and on top of things. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or each course. They knew the menu and I would give the service very high ratings.Lastly, the price. The 4 courses were $85 ea. We had 4 cocktails and 2 mock tails and the 2 desserts, and the bill was $280 plus a tip. That is my only reason to put this at 4 overall stars vs. 5. But that is StPaul/Mpls. The cost to go out to dinner at a nice place will always be around $300 for two people. That is very hard to justify. So if you can afford it, it's worth it!

A friend and I decided to make a trip here and well another wonderful experience at Dark Horse. This place never disappoints and the food has always been good. The service this time was fantastic and the Prosecco was ice cold. The pizza was a solid 5/5. The Bang bang shrimp I give a 4/5 it was good but the Bang Bang sauce was not the best I have had on my travels but the best I have had in the area for sure. The chips and queso were very good and had an amazing creamy texture that left me wanting more. 5/5.The staff is always kind and friendly and a wonderful place to come hang out. I generally get their wing but decided to try other things.

"A dog friendly restaurant with very good food and a charming atmosphere. After we took Molly for a walk along the St. Croix, we decided to treat her to some shade, water, and bite to eat. We found our way to the back of Urban, and seated ourselves under the pergola. Molly stretched out under the table. She was pooped. Walking a dog can get you tired so Molly opted for a shady stretch while our dog sat with us at the table. Our server was very polite and prompt. Our order was in the kitchen in no time. Our food soon arrived hot, cold, and fresh. Hot where it's supposed to be, and cold the same. Delicious. I like to mix things up every once in a while so I had the Spicy Tofu wrap. Don't get me wrong, I love my meat, but something about this menu item intrigued me. I'm glad I made the choice. The tofu blended in well with the other non meat items, and kissed with the spicy sauce, well it made it memorable. The other members of our party thoroughly enjoyed their selections as well. I was told by one "make sure you write about my Turkey cranberry on Flatbread. It was off the hook delicious. A little taste of Thanksgiving ( in a Hallmark kind of way)". Noted and done.Try the lemonade. It's sweet and has a little something in it to give it a unique flavor. I couldn't figure it out. Maybe it was real lemons? When it was time to leave, we leashed up the dog and reached under the table to wake up Molly. She was still pooped, and on top of that, her hands and knees got scuffed. Quick Tip: If you have a Molly, make sure she gets a good night's sleep before taking her on a long walk. It can get quite embarrassing hearing her snore while others are eating. Poor Molly, she should have worn long pants."
"Decided to return here for another go and I'm glad I went ! PLATE has truly stepped up their game, delivering an even better dining experience across the board. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels more inviting and polished, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. One of the most noticeable improvements is the service. The staff is more attentive, knowledgeable, and engaged. . Whether it's recommendations on new menu items or perfectly timed service, they've elevated the overall experience.we had Hannah as our server and she was wonderful ! Suggested different things on the menu . The biggest highlight, though, is the seafood. PLATE has really embraced variety, consistently updating their seafood offerings to keep things fresh and exciting. Their rotating selections ensure there's always something new to try, from creative takes on classic dishes to bold, flavorful combinations that showcase their commitment to quality ingredients. It's clear that PLATE is putting in the effort to refine its menu, atmosphere, and service, making it a must-visit in Prior Lake. If you haven't been in a while, now is the time to check it out! Especially during restaurant week $45 for three course meal with your drink. Worth it !! Must go and try it out !!"
"Absolutely love certain breakfast items. Wish they had other bread and salad dressing options though. The dressing is very bitter, gingery. Sometimes I don't even get the dressing with the salad in my delivery order but thats ok bcuz i dont like it anyways. The chive scramble with potatos is the way to go but if u dont want this, over medium eggs and toast is always good. The drinks are really what get me cuz they have lots of fun beverages. This boosts the score from the problems had with service and the dressing."
"Best meal in MN so far! We just moved here from a foodie city and haven't been impressed with the food around here as of yet. Perron's changed that! The food was delicious and flavorful. My husband had the filet tip fettuccine and I had the seafood risotto. The martinis were also too notch. We'll be back!"
"Excellent filet! 10/10. Toasted ravioli appetizer was also excellent. All food was fantastic, as were the drinks. Came with a party of 10 and everyone fully enjoyed their meals. Service was great too. I'll be back!"
"Inside reminds me of a very cute simple coffee shop. Small table seating and some outside facing lake Calhoun. What's even better is they have an excellent, full menu of healthy organic choices. Oh even better, locally sourced ingredients! With that the prices are higher than some other places. A smoothie is about the same price as a meal but they have some pretty awesome smoothies. The lemongrass curry bowl was the perfect amount and very fresh. It was lacking in flavor though and missed that umph I was hoping for. An overall cute place for a quick bite."
"I've been going here for years now (since around the time they opened) and I absolutely love it! Sri Lankan food is AMAZING, Amd this place does not disappoint! I can't say enough good things about the food here. My go to meal here is the string hoppers, the string hoppers are like a thin patty made of thin white rice noodles (it comes with like 12). I love that this meal comes with a curry sauce, Kiri Hodi (a sweet thinner sauce) and Coconut Sambol. I layer on as much of each that I want on my string hoppers and the combo is DELICIOUS! My daughter has tried a few different dishes here and loves them all. She's done the Ala Hodi (potato curry), the chicken curry and the Dhal Curry. She normally gets roti on the side as well. We normally get a side of vegetable rolls to start with. Then if we are looking for a little extra we get a Mango Lassi to start or finish the meal with. It is like a sweet mango smoothie, but yogurt based and thinner texture."
"Very cute gin bar with great food. The service was a little slow but servers were very nice. The food came out warm and delicious tasting. Tofu buffalo app surprised us bc it tasted like cheese curds. We will be back to try other menu items for sure."
"Nice ambiance, good service, cozy, good music, and nice wine selection. Added to a very nice evening (though of course the company was also top notch but that's not in scope of this review).AMBIANCE: nice and cozy. The live music was nice. The furniture and decor was also elegant.WINE: it's hard to give a full review here because we only tried one bottle-- a Sauvignon blanc. But it was a good choice. If all the bottles are as good as this, then I truly do appreciate the choices of wine here."
"Great sandwich. Terrific server. Reasonable price. Easy parking. Recommended. Especially liked the cranberry bread"
"Let's knock the bad thing out of the way first, price. She's spendy. Not like crazy spendy, but like Brick and Bourbon pricing. The men's bathroom was clean, but it was, interesting given how awesome the rest of the place looks. Anyway, everything else was fantastic. The drinks, the food, the staff were all absolutely amazing. It was top notch. Despite being in a mall, you don't get that feeling inside. It's beautifully decorated. We went on a Friday night, walked right in and were able to be seated. Ordered the parmesan truffle fries for an app and they were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ordered several drinks and everyone of them popped in our mouth. Even the kombucha beer was delicious and fantastic. Ordered the burger and lobster mac. I wouldn't call the burger cooked medium rare, but it wasn't overly done, more of a medium. It was super tasty. I swore up and down that I would never order seafood in the Midwest but golly was the lobster good. The mac was surprisingly spicy for my wife and we ended up switching food, but I wasn't in the slightest upset about it. Couldn't go wrong either way unless you don't like spicy foods. There was a guitar player there offering some live music, and although we were seated so close the music wasn't overbearing. Honestly the staff were super friendly. The waitress was timed perfectly, so helpful and honestly sincere, 10/10 will go back."
"I've been here a couple of times now. Love the location in cute downtown Wayzata and their happy hour!We have tried a lot of items: -Barrel burger: is not a smashed burger like it claims, it's more of a normal burger patty. Tasty but not smashed.-Truffle fries: delicious!-French onion soup: absolutely love the broth (best we have ever had) but it was lukewarm. Not sure if they bake it but it should be cooked under a salamander and come out hot, it tasted more microwaved. The cheese should be bubbling over the sides. Please swap the croutons for a perfect circle of bread and cover the bread in cheese and you've got a game changer! -chicken wrap: fell apart on me and was dry. Had to ask for sauce.-chicken wings: delicious! Get them. The sticky ones were our fav!-turkey burger: was very dry. From start (including putting in our names) to finish, we left after being there a little over 2 hours. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and not attentive. She would take one person's request and then disappear without hearing what everyone else might have wanted. We had to flag her down many times. We will be back for happy hour."
"Checked out Salt & Flour shortly after they opened in the North Loop Green. Great location directly across the street from Target Field and all I can say is any new (nice) restaurant in the North Loop is going to get attention and a following, a place to be seen before a night out on the town and this was definitely the vibe. The bottom-line is the food was good, definitely above average. Service was a little slow but I think they were still working out the kinks since we visited during the first weekend open. It's definitely a busy restaurant and the servers, host/hostesses, and manager (shout out to Anthony - let's go Warrior Sculpt!!) work their tails off. The design is nice with the bar area up front and more dinner seating in the back of the house with an open style kitchen. It's a little loud but that's what you would expect at any place that is new and busy.As for the food, lots of good options, from grilled octopus, roasted beets salad, and meatballs. Passed on the oysters and pizzas/sammies (but that could be an option for lunch). We went straight to the pastas - I opted for the pasta bowl with rigatoni and bolognese sauce and it was good, but didn't overly impress. The tough thing is there are other good Italian/pasta options within a couple blocks, e.g. Red Rabbit, Dario, and BLG. S&F's menu is diverse and there are a lot of options, I'd be willing to go back to try the walleye or rabbit & spazle, or a sammie, plus the drinks are really good. There is valet parking, plenty of on street meter parking spots, but if you are out in the North Loop, this is very walkable when it's nice outside, plus it's right next to the light rail."
"My husband and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was casually busy. Upon entering the establishment, the lighting makes the place warm and welcoming. The place was dimly lit, but you still have decent lighting at your table. They offer bar and table seating. I actually made a reservation online just in case. The place is casual. The staff are dressed in black. The staff members were friendly and approachable. FOOD: If you look at their website, all the asterisk next to the menu item is available as gluten-free. It didn't indicate that on their website, but it does on their menu at the restaurant. There is happy hour from 3pm-6pm and 9pm-close. They offer a lot of different choices from pasta, salad, pizza, and sandwiches. There was complimentary bread basket, which had garlic breadsticks and sliced baguette. No butter, but it doesn't need it. The breadsticks were warm. Even though that was delicious, my favorite was the bread. It was fluffy and not too dense. I had the Penne Al Forno, which I made the comment that it looks like pizza! (It was the pepperoni that spark that comment.) My husband ordered Tortelloni Alla Panna. Both dishes were delicious. Penne Al Forno is a hearty meat dish compare to Tortelloni Alla Panna. The broccoli in the Tortelloni Alla Panna was cooked al dente - just perfect. We also ordered the Cheesecake, which came with 2 spoons. It hazelnut on the cheesecake and raspberry sauce works with the dish to add that crunch/texture. Overall, we could come back for more. PARKING: There is free parking on site. Parking was full when we came at 6pm on Saturday. They do share the space with a few other businesses."
"Food was good, but was expecting better for the price point. Ordered poutine and it came out cold as did the lobster bisque. Had the parmesan crusted walleye which was huge and fresh. Would rate higher if it wasn't for the price."
"Pizza: 4/5 starsNote that they specialize in THIN CRUST PIZZA, so if you like your crust extra stuffed...Zaffiro's isn't for you. Their pizza is really good, but will not fill you up if you're only ordering one pizza to share. I like how light the crust is, and the toppings taste wonderful. You won't find any "out of the ordinary" pizzas here. They're all pretty basic.Environment/Ambiance: 3/5 starsThey don't really have their own ambiance because of the fact that they're connected to the movie theater. I can honestly say without being connected to the movie theater, Zaffiro's probably wouldn't be as successful. Their décor/interior is average and there's nothing about it that is striking. I absolutely love that you can order your pizza/drinks and bring it into the theater if you'd like. The have some tasty drinks at the bar that are based on different major/popular films. The Star Wars and Jurassic Park drinks are all to die for. Tangy, crisp, and gone in a few sips. My boyfriend was excited that there was a bar we could order drinks at because most theaters don't have that available to movie-goers. He also liked that we could drink them during the movie without having to gulp it down before we entered the theater.Service: 3/5 starsI've only eaten the food here twice, but the service is alright. I didn't encounter any standout waiters or bartenders. I will say that the bartenders know how to concoct some lethal drinks though. I could've drank 5+ of those babies.Overall, I'd say Zaffiro's is great if you're catching a flick at the theater, and you want to have a pizza to much on during the entire movie. I personally wouldn't recommend dining in because there are much better places to bring the family or plan a date. Trust me, you can never forget the fact that it's connected to a movie theater. I don't think it stands out on its own as a restaurant."
"An opulent space with a very high ceiling. Dishes from around the world with a particular focus on Turkish items. We enjoyed the mezze platter, which included five dips to be eaten with a loaf of warm puffy bread. Mains tried were kuzu Tandir (slow roastedlamb with a slaw), beyri sarma (kebab wrapped in lavash) and chicken hunkar begandi. The standout entree was the beyti sarma, but all were good and elegantly presented. Service was very attentive."
"Awesome atmosphere. Cozy, dark, romantic! Sometimes the service is lovely and sometimes it's a bit sassy! Still great either way! Fish and chips is delicious! Nice wine and beer choices. I heard the cheesecake is yummy!"
"In town for a work event, this is a quaint place with a ton of charm and INCREDIBLE food! I have never experienced 5 star dining like we did tonight. There were 7 of us, we had a variety of dishes and everything was perfection. Every ingredient could be tasted and the each dish is handled with care and perfection. The burrata toast with walnut pesto is a must!!!! Our waitress was AMAZING. She was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. She was an expert with all the options including vegan.I WILL BE BACK!"
"It's good but it's just super crowded and hard to get in lol. Unless you show up the second they're open and get a table, I don't think it's worth of over 40min wait.We came here for my birthday and the steaks were very good. The gnocchi is just ok, a bit too oily. I feel like gnocchi from Martina is better. And this squid ink pasta is very very salty. I don't know if this is a thing after COVID when chef all lost their senses or it's always been like this. Extremely salty food can't be healthy. I'm a person who has always been a big fan of squid ink anything growing up, but I found this dish hard to swallow. I would also appreciate if there's complementary bread but there was not.Overall it's pretty good but just a little overrated."
