"I went here for drinks and dinner with my partner and friends and it was 10/10! Every single person working there was a joy to interact with. I've never been to a restaurant where everyone was so friendly and kind. The layout of the restaurant is nice and big but I really enjoyed the patio! The drinks were full of flavor and presented well. My partner and I split the shrimp and crab cakes. I'll definitely be back for those!"
"Great summer night to sit outside but we still chose to sit inside downstairs and enjoy the live music. Your staff was on spot as usual....all working together.Thank you ."

"This restaurant seems rundown and tired, in desperate need of a rehab. It seemed dark at times and the whole back half of the restaurant was empty during the dinner hour. It felt like a food court version of Margaritaville. The TVs in the bar and the patio weren't on even though it was night one of the World Series.Southwest chicken salad was fresh and yummy, the rest felt disappointingly standard. My margarita was really weak and watered down. Not worth the $100+ tab for our family of 4...and we didn't even hear Margaritaville once."
"Celebrated my dad's birthday here along with a wedding going on and many other people- it was a very busy night for the restaurant. Smaller roof top patio and an oddly placed bathroom.Service was excellentAtmosphere very loud, but expected given how busy they were. Food was excellent. Ordered the oriental chicken salad which was delicious and hearty for a salad.Onion rings- were gigantic and battered which are the best. I don't like the non beer battered crunchy type. These were great.Other people ordered shrimp, pasta, steaks all said to be very good. Nice little gem of a place in White Bear Lake."
"VIEWS FOR MILESWe enjoyed a beer and a 'zero proof' cocktail at Prohibition right after a weekday 5pm opening when it was very quiet. We were tucked away in a corner on a high-top table with great views of the surrounding Minneapolis skyscrapers and distant views of St. Paul. I was able to take some great photos out the windows throughout the bar before it got too busy.WE SKIPPED THE OBSERVATION DECK, CHOOSING PROHIBITION INSTEADWe chose visiting the 27th floor Prohibition over paying to ascend to the Foshay Tower and Observation Deck (30th floor), because we thought the views were good enough. We put our money towards cocktails instead! If you want to learn about the history of the place, it's easy to research it on your phone while sipping. :)1920s SPEAKEASY FEELThe decor is 1920s-ish with dark woods, blacks and purples with splashes of reds, occasional armchairs, couches and book cases. It was originally a retreat for the builder magnate Wilbur Foshay. I thought the actual bar didn't quite have a wow factor, but the rest of it felt 'speakeasy', although it's not quite as mysterious and clandestine as some we've visited.MOCKTAILThe zero proof cocktail I tried -- A 'Crime of Passion', complete with a real flower for garnish -- was one of the best 'mocktails' I'd ever had. It wasn't too watered down with ice and was quite flavorful. ($12, summer of 2024).TAKE THE ELEVATOR TO THE 27TH FLOORIn order to get to Prohibition, take the elevator up to the 27th floor from the ground floor where you find the check-in desks at the Foshay (W Hotel). When we took the elevator, there was a large crowd of conference people also waiting, so it took a few rounds of waiting before we got up there. For great photos of the Foshay Tower, go across the street."
"Always enjoy my time at Ray J's. Just a normal towny kind of restaurant with good food, normal atmosphere and nice staff."
"This is one of my new favorite places to go west of Maple Grove. Everything we have ordered from here has been perfect. The smoked turkey and ribs are phenomenal. The kids love the Cheese pizza and it's massive. The dry rub cool ranch Dorito wings are a game changer. Always great service and a main stay spot. Well done."
"Mainstreet Bar & Grill on Hopkins Mainstreet has friendly bartenders and great food. The to-go Cobb Salad was delicious! Home-made bleu cheese dressing, crisp, fresh dark lettuce, a good amount of flavorful chicken. I wish Mainstreet continued success."
"Very good Irish bar that was across the street from my hotel. Nice menu with all the Irish classics, as well as salads, burgers and other items. Bar is large with plenty of places to sit. Table seating available as well. Lots of TVs to watch the game. Food was really good. I got the artichoke dip and the steak salad. Both were excellent. The beer selection is very respectable with some local beers on tap.The menu has an option for you to order beer for the kitchen staff if you think they did a good job. Only $6. I have never seen that before and thought it was very cool. Service was top notch. The bartender took very good care of me."
"A bit tucked away and a little hard to find off the freeway, but this is definitely a solid choice for some eats and entertainment. I'm gonna admit that all I've ever eaten here for a meal is the Friday AYCE fish fry. And a few appetizers also. Cause, you know, I'm fat. And when you have all the fish you can eat, why not start out with an appetizer, right? The cheese curds are well above average. Dare I say excellent? Yes, I dare. Hand battered, not that frozen crap you'll find elsewhere. $9? Well yes, if they are made to order and this good, then 9 bucks is worth it. MN State Fair worthy curds. A bit salty, but that's what makes a good curd. The fish is also really good. It's always hot and crispy. The reorders are also always hot and crispy. They don't take forever to get you a reorder and it's always more than enough fish. Tarter is out of a jar but still good. It comes with a baked potato which I kind of balked at, but decided it's a nice switch up from fries. It seems a bit more family oriented here. I feel very comfy bringing my 3 young kids. On Friday nights they have this awesome balloon lady that can make just about any animal you'd want. Don't get me wrong, it's not Chuck E. Cheese here, it's a nice bar and restaurant, but it's more family friendly than most places. Lots of nice big TVs in the bar to watch the games. Service is always fantastic and beer selection is very good. They could use a few more craft brews on tap, but do have them in the can. Or at the bar, wherever you'd like to drink it. Damn, I'm funny."
"Great selection of food and drinks, daily special and cute decor. Service was prompt and food was quick. Plenty of parking on the street or in the parking lot behind the building."

Birch's on the Lake offers a fantastic lakeside setting with a cozy yet lively atmosphere--perfect for a weekend brunch. We started with the crab artichoke dip, which was creamy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The cheese curds were crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and just the right level of indulgent. For brunch, we had the Long Lake Breakfast, a solid, classic choice, along with the Prime Rib Benedict and the Ham Benedict--both had perfectly poached eggs and rich hollandaise, though the prime rib stood out with its tenderness and depth of flavor. The Cajun Lime Chicken Taco had a nice spice and acidity balance, making it a fresh, lighter option. We were celebrating a birthday brunch and truly appreciated the thoughtfulness and swag from Jeff, which made the experience even more special. The service was friendly and attentive, and the lake views added to the charm.A few small tweaks in execution could elevate some dishes to the next level, but overall, this is a great spot for a relaxed yet elevated brunch.Would definitely come back, especially for the ambiance!

A big fan of Margaritaville we sat at the bar and planned to order food and deinks. We were disappointed that we could not order a pitcher of Margaritas but got over it quickly. Placed orders for the perfect margarita and we're not disappointed. We ordered lava lava shrimp, Chicken egg roll, Cajun pasta shrimp main dish and shared them all. Love the decoration. The restrooms were cleaned. The area was decorated, clean established and staff super friendly.

Food is excellent. Ordered the 12 oz prime rib with sweet potato and comes with sesame sauce sautéed string beans. Flavors exploding in your mouth. Service is quick and the waitress brings out water and immediately ask for your drink order. Ambiance is calm with up to date music in the background. Overall, very nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. Forgot to mention, there is also an upstairs seating!

Stop by for some drinks for my friends birthday. Drinks were good, but pricey. $26 for one drink with a tip. The furniture definitely needs to be replaced some of it because it was very worn. Customer service was overall good, but it was pretty difficult to find our waiter for the majority of the time and she didn't remember what each person ordered. Therefore, it was a bit of a process to close out our tab.

Pretty decent spot for Woodbury. The wing selection is good. The servers were nice. It's like a family restaurant meets sports bar. Good Christmas vibes in the winter too.

We had a late breakfast here on a Saturday. We were seated quickly and it wasn't too busy. We started with the dill cheese curds. They were perfectly cooked. I had French toast which was tender with a wonderful cinnamon flavor. My husband had a delicious breakfast bowl. The bacon pieces were thick and cooked perfectly. The vegetables in the bowl were also cooked perfectly. There is plenty of interesting art and the tables are not on top of each other.

I stopped in this afternoon for lunch and hadthe Reuben, which turned out to be one of the better ones I've had in the cities. I sat at the bar, and the bartender Hannah was warm, engaging, and attentive. Mainstreet has a fun vibe and l look forward to going back with friends to check out live music or their open mic night.

"It's hard not to be astounded at Tattersall! Their salmon is perhaps my favorite in the world. I've had it both in a salad and as an entrée, and it's always perfectly crispy and soft at the same time. Don't mind the poorly-lit photo. I may not have captured it well, but the presentation was stunning. Hats off to our server, who took great care of my family and I!It's worth noting that there aren't a lot of meat-free or alcohol-free options, especially if you'd rather not have your food cooked in alcohol. It is a distillery after all, so alcohol is central to the business. I wasn't all that impressed by my blueberry smash mocktail (there was much more ice than drink), but the rest of my party had no complaints about their drinks, and the salmon more than made up for it."
"Service was very good, with a great environment... the bartender was informative... and the food while looking great also tasted extremely good."
"I sub on a sand volleyball league at Boondox on Monday nights so I'm there almost every week and I love it. I don't spend a lot of time inside but when I have, I've gotten great service from the bartender. It's usually the same guy and he makes sure to run my food out to my table when I order too close to game time which is awesome. The volleyball courts are great. I can't ask for more than food, drinks and volleyball! Sometimes it can get annoying because they have trees at the back of the courts and the ball rolls in there a lot but it's not that big of a deal. The nice thing about being outside is that at night they have heaters close to the building so you can stay warm on chilly nights in between games. The more I play here the more I think about just popping over on random nights to watch volleyball and grab a drink. The sunset is so pretty and it's so lively. They have bags outside too and a place to wash your feet if you walk in the sand. Plus, the servers are really attentive to the patio. Boondox is a really relaxed and fun place to be. Especially in the area."
"Is there another bar where you can sip your brews and also order for your local favorites like Keys Cafe? I don't think so. I love Camp Bar for many reasons. They have a huge space and a decent amount of options for cocktails and taps. The staff here are amazing and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a good experience. You get a great choice of food from Keys Cafe, pizza, and Asian cuisine from another local place. They also have great specials and happy hours for different events. Camp Bar is Packer Bar and you can't miss the Green Bay flag flying out front on game day. Plenty of TVs with the sound on. When I've been they had good drink specials, touchdown shots, and raffle prizes. It's such a great crowd and you might even see adorable dogs dressed in their Packer accessories. Despite how busy it gets, service is great. It's my favorite place to watch the game and you don't have to get there super early to get a seat. It's got a little bit of a divey feel and I love it. Parking is on the street, but I've never had trouble finding any. When I've been with large groups they were always accommodating. It is definitely a staple St Paul bar for me."
"There aren't many places like this in the Twin Cities. Chicago and other places where there is a heavy Asian population is different, but not in Twin Cities. That being said, Doremi offers a nice authentic Karaoke experience. Plenty of song choices in Korean, English, Japanese, Indonesian, and Tigalo. Take a few friends and try it out. Lots of fun. Down some beer, soju, and sing away!"
"This is an adorable local gem of a restaurant on the Northside! The design, decor and music are all a good vibe! I've only been for lunch during the day, so that is what my review is based on.Get there close to when they open to get in and out quick for your lunch break! Service still has some kinks, so be patient with staff. The drink list is unique, so try something fun! The mojitos are good. I tried the salmon mac bowl, but the mac is not all that tasty. I would have ordered something else as the base if I could have."
"This venue is good for watching live music and has a huge parking lot. The only think I can say that would bring this venue to a 5 star rating is if they put in a little extra into making it a little fancier. We paid extra for good seats and the tables could have used some tablecloths or something to hide the fact that they weren't in the best of shape. I think they could upgrade their furniture or hide it better. Live music is really the only reason I've been here and the sound system and lighting seem to always be very good. If you come here for live music, you'll enjoy yourself."
"The old location was good but this new one is great! It's still relaxed and dive-y, but now you don't feel like you're trapped in a church basement. They even have windows! This is also much closer to Park Tavern and now The Block if you want to hop around a bit. I'd completely forgotten about this new location until we came out of Sota Clothing and were looking for a bite to eat. I remember steak night being popular at the old location so I had some confidence in the food already. By recommendation of our lovely waitress we went with the MacDaddy burger. It was soo good. I was hesitant of the sweet pickles - I normally HATE sweet pickles. They are a bit sweet with a kind of Christmas spice to it, like cinnamon or nutmeg. I went with it and left the pickles on the burger. They really do add just be right amount of snap to contrast the creamy 282 sauce. The bun is also nicely toasted and has an almost crisp texture where it meets the burger. This burger definitely rivals some of the others in The Cities. Wash it down with a $3 happy hour beer, and it can't be beat. They also have something going on almost every night of the week. And at a reasonable hour, where I don't feel like I have to ruin my bed time to participate. No, I'm not 80... I just like to be well rested. We were there on a Sunday and they were having Texas Hold'em tournament. Free to play and you can win a $50 gift card. The organizer was kind enough to teach us to play, and made us feel very welcome. Recap: Awesome Food, Awesome location, Awesome staff, Awesome prices, Awesome events"
""It's just country boys and girls gettin' down on the farm." -Tim McGrawHave you ever wondered whether pizzas grow on trees, vines, or are plucked from underground? The best way to get the root or meat and cheese of the matter is to get down on this 16-acre pizza farm yourself. To get there, drive through serpentine country back roads and "a steady cloud of dust that leads back to a field filled with pickup trucks." Park behind the main buildings where rows of tomato, mozzarella, and pepperoni plants grow.Save time by sending some of your crew to scout for a prime picnic spot while you queue up in the ordering line. Expect a long wait, but hay, it's worth it! You'll be happy as a pig in the mud sinking your teeth into a tasty, wood-fired, farm-fresh pizza. We ordered the following (ingredients in pics):PESTO: Basically an apprentice Vampire Slayer. Killer pizza, but not strong enough to destroy Jemaine Clement's Vladislav.HALEY'S COMET: Fungus is not for me.THAI CHICKEN: Popularithai contest winner! It could use extra cilantro as that was overpowered by the sweet chili peanut sauce. VAMPIRE SLAYER (previous visit): Unearthly amounts of garlic will give your inner Buffy raging vampire-slayah superpowers! Hi-yah!But there's more on this farm than meets the sty besides pizza! Hang out by the campfire, enjoy live music, or visit with the resident chickens, cows, pigs and goats. You'll be living high on the hog, enjoying it all on a Suncrest pizza night until the cows come home. "My husband and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was casually busy. Upon entering the establishment, the lighting makes the place warm and welcoming. The place was dimly lit, but you still have decent lighting at your table. They offer bar and table seating. I actually made a reservation online just in case. The place is casual. The staff are dressed in black. The staff members were friendly and approachable. FOOD: If you look at their website, all the asterisk next to the menu item is available as gluten-free. It didn't indicate that on their website, but it does on their menu at the restaurant. There is happy hour from 3pm-6pm and 9pm-close. They offer a lot of different choices from pasta, salad, pizza, and sandwiches. There was complimentary bread basket, which had garlic breadsticks and sliced baguette. No butter, but it doesn't need it. The breadsticks were warm. Even though that was delicious, my favorite was the bread. It was fluffy and not too dense. I had the Penne Al Forno, which I made the comment that it looks like pizza! (It was the pepperoni that spark that comment.) My husband ordered Tortelloni Alla Panna. Both dishes were delicious. Penne Al Forno is a hearty meat dish compare to Tortelloni Alla Panna. The broccoli in the Tortelloni Alla Panna was cooked al dente - just perfect. We also ordered the Cheesecake, which came with 2 spoons. It hazelnut on the cheesecake and raspberry sauce works with the dish to add that crunch/texture. Overall, we could come back for more. PARKING: There is free parking on site. Parking was full when we came at 6pm on Saturday. They do share the space with a few other businesses."
"What a surprise to come across this gem. I came for dinner, and was seated ... anywhere I wanted to sit ... so I elected the big bay window overlooking the first tee. Yes my friends, this is the club house at the golf & country club...eh, golf course...!!!Nice lively club, fun to listen to the groups of golf buddies chatting. The club (19th hole) has a nice restaurant, buffet, and the sports bar with 5 or 6 TVs running and there is music playing. Comfortable, lively yet not so loud as to become annoying. The menu is diverse, having everything from sandwiches to steak, pastas to seafood, and a lot in between. The yelp reviews & tips provided me with some good guidance, advice...so I elected to try their famous bacon wrapped jalapenos, which were delish...a nice kick and flavorful. Then to follow I went with the hot pastrami with slaw on marbeled rye. Great flavor, meaty and very tasty. The sandwich come with your choice of fries, soup, salad etc. I went with todays soup. Equally as tasty. In fact my whole meal was fantastic...!!!If you play golf, this appears to be the hangout. If you dont play thats okay too... come enjoy a nice lunch or dinner with your family and friends.Good facility, very nice staff, excellent food."
"Lost Spur is a fine course for a Spring warmup round, quick 9, without having to drive too far (just south of the airport). It is similar to many munis in playing conditions (smaller greens, decent fairways, hilly....the land wasn't "managed" to smooth our hills and ravines)...What makes it stand out is 1) the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and 2) it is under the flight path from MSP so if you are a plane freak like me you can see them directly overhead. The course is a bit hilly....so if you tend to huff and puff up hills, get a cart. If you don't it is fine to walk except for 2 big uphills.Note: I'm not 100% sure if it is actually a muni, but the best way to describe the terrain and playing condition."
"The Front Porch Bar and Grill is owned and operated by United States veterans. The food is outstanding. Their frequent open mic nights draw a large and diverse crowd with the excellent entertainment they present. I highly recommend this place! It's a friendly place run by friendly people."
"Excellent food and service here for lunch! Nice beer choices (especially for our beer snobs). Great Lemon Drop Martini-the bartender even came tableside to see if it was mixed to perfection. I love their Loft Salad of cauliflower/lettuce/bacon! The BLT on toasted sourdough and LOTS of bacon, was perfection in a sandwich! Quiet during lunchtime during the winter months-lovely looking out on the snowy golf hills."
"Love this course, I have been coming here for around 10 years to participate in a golf scramble that my friend hosts. Its in New Prague that is 30 minutes south of Burnsville, so its not terribly too far. There is a lot of variety on the holes here, mixing an even amount of part 3, 4 and 5's. Every hole has character and can be challenging if you don't know how to play it right. Nice clubhouse that has a good size bar and plenty of space for banquets or a small wedding. Because of the isolated location they have great specials during the week."
"Best value for a good challenging and scenic course in the twin cities area. The drinks at the bar are reasonable and the service is always friendly. The greens roll true and are lush. Not your typical beat up overcrowded public course. Stay on Saturday nights for their stone fired pizzas. They are ridiculously tasty. I give this course two thumbs up for service, course conditions, and stone fired pizzas."
