"I had a lovely dining experience at CōV Edina on a Sunday for brunch. We were seated quickly & had great service. They have the restaurant decorated for the holidays which was fun & festive. We ordered the Brisket Hash and the Lobster Tartine. The food was so flavorful & very filling. Highly recommend both of these dishes along with a crisp glass of one of their Sauvignon Blancs."
"Celebrated my dad's birthday here along with a wedding going on and many other people- it was a very busy night for the restaurant. Smaller roof top patio and an oddly placed bathroom.Service was excellentAtmosphere very loud, but expected given how busy they were. Food was excellent. Ordered the oriental chicken salad which was delicious and hearty for a salad.Onion rings- were gigantic and battered which are the best. I don't like the non beer battered crunchy type. These were great.Other people ordered shrimp, pasta, steaks all said to be very good. Nice little gem of a place in White Bear Lake."

"Very pleasantly surprised. Went for a friends birthday dinner and the owner was so great - she took pictures for us and helped serve a birthday cake for him herself. Our chef was probably the highlight. He was funny and interactive, which is a big part of the experience. The food was good too - typical hibachi. Drinks were delicious though! Some higher priced than others but the raspberry pina colada was delicious - some ice chunks though made it a little hard to drink. Overall, for Rochester, not a bad place and I'll probably come back."
"It's like Fogo but cheaper price, and not as many gouchos bringing stuff around. Salad bar isn't as fancy but why would you want that anyways? You're there for the meat, and that is right on par with Fogo, some were better. Only critique is bring around filet minion more. We know why you don't but that's the money cut, we all deserve it."
"This is the best steak house in the town! My ex and I used to go there alllll the time! Definitely suggest you to order their gyro!!! Their most meals comes with baked potatoes and Texas toast bread. Go there happy hour and get gyro & fries for cheaper price! The cookers and servers are always incredibly friendly dealing with our orders!"
"Went here for a nice dinner with my son after visiting him at UW- Stout this weekend. Wanted something other than bar food or fast food! Starting with our initial impression: beautiful view from the deck - can't wait to come back when it's warm again! Would recommend reservations if coming on a weekend- will have to wait for a table, but there is a bar. Speaking of which, cant ever go wrong with a real Wisconsin Old Fashioned. The drink menu lists a Jameson orange old fashioned -- I tried it on the advice of our server, and while it was ok, doesn't compare to the real thing. The menu is expansive and reasonable prices. The prime rib was melt in your mouth tender... the salad was good, too-- cold and crisp. My som had the garlic alfredo pasta and loved it, too.The only reasons I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the wait time to get our bill... nearly 30 min, though the waiter was swamped."
"I came here with my family of 5 and a friend's family of 7 for lunch at noon on a Wednesday. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, we did not, but it only took her a couple minutes to place us in the back booth - two tables, one large booth. The service we had was very good! All the kids got kids meals, and I was surprised by how large they were. The adult portions were a good size also. The food was good, but not amazing. I appreciated that you could get sweet potato fries with a sandwich order, and it wasn't an upcharge. I would come back here for their ability to deal with a large party and their great service."
"Ate here 3 times in the last month and this place is rock solid. The bar is great. Old fashions were great and they do over 7000 per year with a running sign. Boasted chicken is phenomenal. I've had it twice. Great relish trays. The chicken and ribs that my buddies got- got 10-10 reviews. They both said they were f-ing awesome. Brussel sprouts were great. Bacon dates were amazing too. Great service. Great history."
"We got great table service. I got a breakfast at 2PM and my better half got a scrumptious salad with ripe avocado and grilled chicken. The dressing was delicious, a ginger vinaigrette. The Yelp Check In special is expired. No free coffee with breakfast any longer. My server made it all good when I explained that I needed my glasses to see the fine print, and I hadn't realized that the offer had expired."
"Always a great place - good food and great people! They are also doing every thing to keep people safe during covid times. We had Valentine's Day dinner here and it was so delicious - such great homemade soups, steaks cooked to order, and the pie... THE PIE (also homemade)! On a non holiday, we love the burgers, soups and pie (both made from scratch) - they have excellent week night specials too!"
"Really good food. I ordered so much. We came for my friends birthday so it was quite a few of us. The staff were so awesome and patient with us since most of the girls had never been. The show was awesome and he engaged with all of us and wasn't rushing to get done which was nice. I got a chicken tempura roll, the hara maki, and the hibachi chicken which came with the miso soup and the salad. I love this place and would 10/10 come again."
"I used to be a regular 40 years ago or so when this was an actual mini-chain in the twin cities. One could get a complete steak dinner for $5 or less in those days. This particular location operates in the same manner, order your steak at the counter, get handed a pre-made salad and portion control dressing, order a drink, take your table, and rather quickly, out comes your steak, potato, and texas toast.Flavor was great, they offer a variety of "cuts", ranging in price from $15-$20 or so. In retrospect, I should have ordered fish. I'd go back, it's a good value, but kind of in a sketchy section of University in St Paul."

The atmosphere at CōV reminds me so much of an East Coast restaurant by the beach. It's calm yet busy and believe it or not they specialize in seafood. I was totally sold when I heard this. What we got:Dungeness crab dip- I would recommend if you want something shareable for 3-4 ppl but if it's just you and a friend I would try the crab cakes. Seared Sea Scallops- the scallops were cooked perfectly but it was an okay dish for me because I'm not fond of orange flavor in my food. Crab & shrimp pasta- if you are in the mood for a fresh pasta dish with seafood this dish won't disappoint. It was so good especially if you have it on the patio. : )

Food is excellent. Ordered the 12 oz prime rib with sweet potato and comes with sesame sauce sautéed string beans. Flavors exploding in your mouth. Service is quick and the waitress brings out water and immediately ask for your drink order. Ambiance is calm with up to date music in the background. Overall, very nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. Forgot to mention, there is also an upstairs seating!

It was an overall fun experience, not mind blowing BUT entertaining. It was my first hibachi experience so I quite enjoy the few tricks up the chef's sleeves! The food is a little pricey for the portion size ($25 for steak & 3 scallops + $4 for a bowl of fried rice). Nevertheless, you're paying for the experience and the food tastes pretty good! The fillet mignon was tender and juicy, scallop had the right sear and texture.

I have to tell you....this place is amazing. We have been here twice and ea h time is never a disappointment. Lily, the owner, greeted us and spoke with about her food and the area. She is lovely. The gauchos and waiter were amazing and attentive. Everything was fresh and we never waited too long for meat. This is our favorite place to eat.

I ordered the 14oz chopped steak or something if the sort for $18 and when asked how I'd like it to be cooked I said medium. Well turns out the cook like to just send everything out as rare as possible. Definitely could only eat a bit into the steak from the side as the middle was completely too rare and there wasn't anyone around to say anything to about it. Also had to go back and ask for our tadseki sauce and sour cream that we paid for.

Excellent restaurant in all aspects! Food was great at a great price point. All with the best, friendliest service I could ever hope for. Every detail of the food was exceptional. The Lake Superior whitefish prepared perfectly, the mac n cheese best ever, and even the mashed potatoes were mind blowing.

This is an excellent establishment! Do not miss this place if you are in NW Wisconsin for a visit. We drove nearly an hour to get there as we are staying near Webb Lake and it's worth every minute. We had New York steak, salmon, and fried cheese curds with sautéed brussel sprouts. Dessert was the crème brûlée. The cookie served with the dessert was outstanding! All were worth it and delicious. Best of all was the staff. Great job to the ownership in hiring quality people and obviously keeping them happy. That is hard to find lately.

"I love that we have a good sushi & hibachi spot here in the suburbs. It's big, spacious, clean & nicely decorated. Brought my parents here for dinner & they loved it & they are picky people I must say. The server we had was so kind as well & I loved that she had a great sense of humor to reciprocate because my dad loves to kid around with people from time to time lol. Pictured: 007 roll & Lisa Lisa crunch roll - 5 stars. We also ordered hamachi Kama & the tofu w a side of eel sauce. Which were light choices & yummy."
"Stopped for lunch with family and a couple young kids. There was space in the back for the youngins to have some space. Service was great. Good was wonderful. We were there in winter and the view of the river was beautiful! I imagine the summer views are wonderful as well. We will be back!"
"Our favorite local spot for authentic Mexican. Delicious house margarita and big food portions. Love the little patio with our kids on a warm summer evening."
"Come here for happy hour Baldamar. I usually love their happy hour but this time, I felt like it wasn't as good. Maybe, because I wasn't that hungry, but I ordered the short rib birria tacos and a single patty burger with bacon. I think I had high expectations for the birra taco so, it wasn't as good as I thought. There was not much flavor. The burger was good. I feel like you can never go wrong with a burger. There is plenty of parking and is right across the mall so, I stopped and did some shopping. The waiter was nice but the service was a bit slow. Overall, everything was good but don't think I would be back for a while."
"Sadly, we mentioned our experience to some friends and acquaintances over the weekend. We are not the only ones who LOVED the food/atmosphere m/menu but noticed the unprofessional manner of the female owner. I would hate to think her actions can negatively impact the business that much, but I guess her actions are not easily forgotten. I hope for the sake of this cute little place with amazing chef(s) they can pull through with maybe move the opera singer off site or at least get her sober going forward,,"
"Started coming to the suburban "dive bar" weekly as the food was good and it was not crazy expensive. Bummer that over the last couple years the prices have increased to match local rival: The Tavern, which has better food, so now we go less--cost was worth it before but not as much now. Service is always excellent."
"Wow! We went to the Vikings -Colts Game last night and stopped her for dinner. What a Vibe and the food was great! The decor and ambiance - SPOT ON!Definitely stop in and experience it for yourself."
"Good atmosphere, attentive service and lots of meats brought right to you. I love that this location has lots of parking and so much space."
"Stopped here Saturday night (12/23) and had a res for 8:30pm. It was a friend's birthday and they were nice enough to bring a little dessert for us :) I ordered the mussels appetizer, salmon salad, French onion soup, filet & augratin potatoes. All were delish! I wasn't a huge fan of the salmon salad (it was really smoky and I thought it was going to be cooked salmon but that's totally my fault hehe) They cooked our medium filet perfectly! Our friends ordered medium rare and that was also done very nicely. The French onion soup might have been my favorite thing! Will definitely be back next time I'm at Mystic."
"Food was good, but was expecting better for the price point. Ordered poutine and it came out cold as did the lobster bisque. Had the parmesan crusted walleye which was huge and fresh. Would rate higher if it wasn't for the price."
"Loved the atmosphere in this pub. The business name has the word "pub" in it, but this place is really more of an upscale steakhouse. Don't be fooled by the small "storefront", this restaurant is actually pretty large. Lots of spectate rooms all with great woodwork features... like an old time saloon. Has a well stocked bar, but no TV's. (Not a bad thing!) Many whiskey's to choose from (among other spirits). Food was good. Rib eye steak had great flavor. Highly recommend adding mushrooms to anything you can, they were that good! You get a ton of them... so if you love shrooms, this is for you. Also had the French Onion Soup. Had a little spice to it. Couldn't put my finger on the flavor, but if a had to guess, I'd say red chili flake? The spice wasn't over powering by any means, but I would have liked the soup more without it. (But I'm not a spice guy... at all!) Downtown street parking was a little challenging, but eventually found a place not too far from the entrance. New favorite place in Eau Claire!"
"The drinks and food are consistently good - we come here regularly and they always have some items on a rotating menu to keep things fresh, which we appreciate!"
"Amazing food and service! TIFF - can't tell you how awesome she is - you need to go see for yourself! This is a must stop when in Hudson."
"I was feeling adventurous, so I went to Don Julios instead of my old standby, Dickeys BBQ. Everyone is so polite and attentive at Don Julios. I was quickly seated. They came by for my order before I figured out the menu. I'm assuming they have a solid regular crowd of locals. I base this partially on that the specials board just gave the number, but no description of some of the items.I ordered the fajitas de mar. It's just under $20 which might sound a little high for a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall, but wow it was good and a lot of food. Unless you are a big eater, you could split it with someone else. I didn't finish my guac salad or chips and salsa, but I still was overly full when I left. I need to learn to stop eating earlier than that. I had even burned off 600 calories on the bike that afternoon, I still didn't have room for all that food.Funny thing that happened was the assistant brought out all of the food except the seafood but still announced the dish. I was a little confused and poking around my salad to see if the seafood was in there. He came back a couple of minutes later with the seafood.I never got around to dessert, so maybe a future review."
"The broasted chicken is soooo good and order the pub chips! Picked up order inside last night. Order ready as promised, hot and ready to go!"
"I love the chicken strips! Dining room is nice with a fire place, the bar half is enjoyable! On Friday nights they are drawings for prizes. The owner usually has a few homemade goodies on the snack table during bar hours, too!"
"My dad was in the mood for steak, so we tried Bennett's. When we pulled up to the building I was not very confident because the outside appearance is not very nice for a steak house, looked more like a dive bar. We got inside and things improved greatly. It is still a bar, but in the dining area the tables all had nice cloths and it looked much nicer. We ordered drinks and they were very good. We each had the sirloin steak with au gratin potatoes, very tasty and done rare just as we ordered. For me the best part was the Brussels sprouts that came with the meal. They were sliced thin and sautéed and were probably the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had. It was more affordable than other steak houses as well, which is very nice!"
"They no longer give free baskets of Rocky Mountain Oysters to each table. The Gourmet Malt Brewery is excellent."
"Very popular for good reason! Food is always fresh, hot and decent sized portions. Good happy hour offerings, CRAZY weekend loaded Bloody Mary's! Great sandwiches, burgers, steaks, giant burrito! You won't be disappointed!"
"Stopped by the rooftop of the Lexington for cocktails with the girlfriend on a beautiful Friday night. The ambiance was great! It feels really open yet private. For the first round, we ordered the old fashioned and a White Russian. Both were delicious. For the second round , I described my preference to the bartender and asked him to suprise me! He got really excited and made me a "Paper Plane by the Rufete". It was incredible and came with a little paper plane that one of the waitresses makes by hand. The felt pretty special. Overall great experience. Will be back."
"I don't understand how you can say this place is bad. This place beats everywhere I have eaten in my home state of North Carolina. Very clean, great waitress, and the cook was fantastic."
"Great service, all the typical upscale steakhouse fare, martini was great and so was my steak, a bit on the rare side (ordered MR) but I powered through it. Creamed spinach was not the traditional recipe, and I did not care for it."
"Stopped by to celebrate a birthday dinner with a larger party. The place was super accommodating. The server was extremely personable. The owners stopped by several times to check on how how everyone was doing. Food was great. Drinks even better. Strongly recommend!!!!"
