"A family-friendly location featuring seafood, craft beer, and outdoor seating. Located at the well-known destination, Minnehaha Falls, Sea Salt Eatery ensures fresh, tasty food, plenty of seating, and the soothing background sound of the falls. Our group visited over Labor Day weekend. We inched along in line like a ride at Disney World but chatted and didn't mind the long wait. Once at the ordering counter, we could also order beverages. Craft beer, kombucha, soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages were available. Water in cups was self-serve and free. A separate beer stand exists for quick service. I checked out the specials menu while waiting and ordered the "Sexy Ahi Burger", cooked medium. Reduced balsamic and the grilled onion enhanced the flavor, along with the horsey sauce on the side. The flavors filled the taste buds to the max and I'd return for this 4 star "burger."Our group ordered fries and fried clam strips that I tried. They both were 3 stars. Clam strips were accompanied by the typical cocktail sauce (ketchup with horseradish). The very nearby falls are a great before or after dinner view and walk. Another challenge on a busy day beside the long waits for ordering and receiving, is parking. Pay per spot is an available on site with additional parking in nearby neighborhoods. Always pay attention to the signs along the street to make sure you're parking in a spit designated for parking."

"I ordered the Bangkok burrito and the squash/mushroom tacos through a delivery app. I said no cilantro on both and sauce on the side of the burrito. The tacos were fantastic! The burrito was full of cilantro and there was no sauce included. After it was deconstructed to remove the cilantro, it was delicious, but that was a lot of work to be able to enjoy it.I would give this order 5 stars just for the deliciousness of the food (after cilantro was removed), but the special instructions not being followed really bummed me out. I have to order delivery because I'm disabled and don't have a car. I only get it like once a month due to budget constraints so it does really matter when my food isn't quite what I ordered."
"Hazel's food is consistently, predictably good. Great service, sometimes a long wait for weekend brunch, and the first & only place I've ordered a meat waffle. Be sure to get the hashbrowns and share a caramel roll."
"The food is one thing to talk good about it, but the service is even better!!! The vibe also just makes it so great!"
"Update: The mock duck bahn mi is still my favorite here. I like that the bread is softer. I also ordered pork egg rolls with dipping sauce. I never find street parking and always park in the back lot. The back entrance is nasty with clutter and supplies and a dirty door. So, it's not the best first impression. I ordered my bahn mi large, so I had 2 meals from it. Reheats well in chef Mike."
"Randomly found out this place wasn't far from our new house. It's like a sit-down Arby's but better, and they even have cheese sauce! After reading sooo many good reviews online I was surprised it was so quiet on a Tuesday night, but wasn't mad about it. The lady who rang us up was so patient and helpful to first-timers and that feels hard to find these days! It was a very casual place, no need to dress up. I didn't care much for the onion rings but my sandwich and cheese sauce was great- I'll try the fries next time I'm in! Overall, a little spendier than I'd like ($30 for 2 sandwiches, cheese sauce, and 1 onion rings) but we liked the experience and said we would come back / bring people back!"
"Woah! I just had the roast beef sandwich "with everything" for lunch--best sandwich of my life, made my whole day! They do not skimp on the beef or toppings, and the bread is perfect. Very big, satisfying sandwich, although I won't really be satisfied until I have it again!"
"This place came highly recommended by the local team. We had a very large catering order with multiple timed deliveries. They nailed it! Food was great, delivered on time, and everyone loved it. Ordering was also easy despite the large group orders. Great job!!"
"Juicy Lucy's and beer?? What could be better?? Went here after work and had great service and even better food. I had the guys big bite and it sure was big, enough food for my lunch and dinner... lolWe got some flaming hot cheese curds and they were really good, not too hot and a lot of flavor. Would definitely come here again, plenty of drinks on the menu and a very fun atmosphere."
"I learned my lesson of ordering waaay too much food, so this time I got 1/2 Roasted Veggies on ciabatta which was the perfect size with a cup of Three Onion Potato soup. (As is my habit I also got a salad to have for lunch the next day.) The sandwich's roasted veggies are plentiful and I needed a fork to get it to a size where I could pick it up, and still some veggies slid out. It was a deliciously messy sandwich, which is the best kind! Flavorful, toasted bread and a generous portion of roast onions, peppers, shallots, and more. The Three Onion Potato soup was thick and packed with flavor. The onions were not detectable except by flavor, meaning they must be puréed into the potatoes and the result is delightful. The Florentine salad is spinach with orzo, sun-dried tomatoes, kalmata olives, roasted onions and more. Pine nuts add a nice crunch and goat cheese add creaminess. The balsamic vinaigrette was perfect on it and a small was a perfect size for lunch the next day. I'm getting hungry just writing this review of Zuppa's mouthwatering food!"
"Amazing food. Some of the best I have ever had the vegan bull is good, also the chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, and Mac N Cheese. The service was nice and respectful and the coconut cake is legendary."

I always read the comments section in the "36 Hours" series of the New York Times because locals will usually give tips that were neglected in the articles. I am grateful to the person that commented on the recent piece about Minneapolis because this was how I found out about visiting beautiful Minnehaha Falls and having lunch at the adjacent Sea Salt Eatery! Easily accessible via light rail from downtown, we walked the nearby Minnehaha Creek Trail and were ready for a nice seafood lunch! It was a beautiful day so that meant many other people had the same idea. There was a fairly long line but it only took around 20 minutes before we reached the front. That gave us plenty of time to look over the regular and daily menus - and to share a pint of their delicious cider while we waited. We didn't feel like having anything fried so we opted for one of their daily specials- a Cajun Ahi Po'Boy. We also ordered a Pickled Herring appetizer. We took our number and found a table outside on the patio. After around 10 minutes, a server came out with our order. We both agreed that the Po-Boy was absolutely delicious! Plenty for us to share! And the portion size of the pickled herring was also very generous! Thank you to the person that recommended this place!

It can be intimidating if it's your first time. We went all the way in the back to dine in. When they're busy, they do the stereotypical deli shouting thing, because they have separate lines and phone numbers for the restaurant and deli. Both the Abba and Sasha were delicious! We were tempted to grab a Reuben for the next day because apparently it's the best in the Twin Cities. We'll have to save that for our next visit. Pro tip: Their bakery is excellent. Hamentashens are great with your morning tea or coffee. Actually everything we got was good (black & white cookie, ginger cookie, Date Hamentashen, and Cream Cheese Hamentashen).

WSK was a conveniently located lunch spot my son insisted we check out. With a nice selection of healthy international foods, it's was hard to narrow my selection down. The brussel sprouts were amazing, as were the fries! Everything was hot and fresh. Parking can be a real challenge for the entire area. We walked just a couple of blocks to avoid the parking hassle. There is street parking and a couple of nearby public garages that would work. There are several little shops in the area for a range of shopping needs so WSK could be a great option for a shopping break

If you're looking for a delightful breakfast experience, this charming little restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a memorable meal. We started off with their famous biscuits and gravy, which truly exceeded our expectations. The biscuits were wonderfully fluffy, smothered in a rich and savory gravy that was bursting with flavors, each bite was like a warm hug on a plate.Next up was the quiche, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of fabulous! The flaky crust cradled a creamy filling packed with a fresh sald and just the right amount of cheese, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that left us craving more. It was a beautiful presentation, too, making it almost too good to eat.To complement our delicious meal, we decided to indulge in some bubbly mimosas. The refreshing mix of sparkling wine and freshly squeezed orange juice added a joyful sparkle to our brunch, making everything taste even better. It was the perfect accompaniment to our generous spread. Our experience was further enriched by our server, Maggie, who was simply fantastic. With her warm smile and attentive nature, she made us feel right at home. Maggie offered amazing recommendations that helped us navigate the menu, ensuring we didn't miss out on any hidden gems. Her knowledge of the dishes and enthusiasm for the food truly enhanced our experience. One thing to keep in mind is the parking situation. The area can get a bit tight, especially during the busy brunch hours, so arriving early or being prepared to search for a spot is a good idea. Despite that small hiccup, the delicious food, great service, and vibrant atmosphere made it all worth it. If you're in the mood for a delightful breakfast that will leave you satisfied and smiling, this restaurant is definitely the place to be!

I thought I had reviewed this place but I can't seem to find it. Brunsons is one of the best pubs in the Twin Cities. I've been here many times and will be there many times in the future! Their food is top notch, they have an outstanding happy hour, but their customer service is out of this world best I've ever experienced in the state.I highly recommend this place for anyone!

I've heard about Lu's many times but just never got a chance to go.. I ended up getting it doordashed today and it did not disappoint!! I got the grilled pork banh mi with extra pickled carrots and daikon, no mayo no pate and oh my gosh.. let's get into it. The bread is fresh af. The outside is light and crunchy and somehow yet the inside is so soft and pillowy and also light.. just wow. The grilled pork was cut into perfect bites sized pieces so I wasn't tearing meat or taking awkward bites. Also cooked well and juicy. The veggies were awesome too. I got a side of the fish sauce to add and that made it perfect. I also got the pork and shrimp spring rolls. Honestly these were also incredible i dipped them in the dish sauce. Will definitely get again!

Amazing sandwich!! Highly recommend getting it with all the toppings. Not a horseradish fan, but the person working convinced me to keep it on there and it did not disappoint! A little on the pricy end, but the food you are getting is top quality.

"My go to sandwich shop! I live further away than I used to and no longer work down the block and I literally plan a trip there anytime I have an excuse to pass by. I love the veggie sandwich, w/ avocado & sunflower seeds obviously. I always get extra sunflower seeds and add red/yellow peppers from the salad bar. The salads, sides, and desserts are all tasty and reasonably priced. The owner is incredibly down to earth, kind, and humorous. They do take out a little after hours (call ahead) and also do takeout on Saturday ;)"
"Had a family meal here. Reasonable sized parking lot just outside, shared with Domino's Pizza. Inside, there is a ton of seating, either high top near the bar or low top down the steps. The bar area has fun lighting to add some sparkle. They have a nice outdoor area (it's January so didn't give that a whirl). Everyone ordered burgers although they have some other options too. Service was perfectly attentive. The burgers were mediocre, mostly cooked beyond their very own recommended medium making some a bit tough. The fries (regular and waffles) stood out but were under seasoned. In general, the food was lacking in the flavor department . Not a burger joint to rush back to for our group."
"Stopped in for lunch and grabbed the Market Club with a side of tots. Both were fantastic! The club is an scrumptious combination of flavors sandwiched between two pieces of perfectly toasted tasty sourdough. Because the food is so good the place is usually busy so don't expect to grab and go. But the food is worth the short wait. There are not a ton of seats inside so at busy times it could be a little tight. Service is always great."
"We had a reservation next door and decided to stop in for a drink beforehand. It was an unseasonably warm October day, so we chose to sit on the rooftop patio. I decided to try something really unique, so I chose the chai tea with vanilla vodka. It was so good! The patio was also really great. I bet the place is hopping in the summer. Although we don't live in Rochester, we will happily go back next time we are in the area."
"Back again at hot hands! I got two frozen pies to go - they are a winter staple in my house. A very easy dinner and they include reheat instructions! I love that you can see into the bakery as they have large windows to see. I also grabbed a chai-der drink! Such a perfect fall delight. Staff is incredible friendly in this small down bakery!"
"Sunday brunch was totally worth the visit - they've been doing it for 5 weeks! Our group of 7 made a 10am reservation and was super happy with the food, service, and ambiance. The bbq was delicious (we especially liked the beef, goat, turkey, burnt ends, and brisket), all the brunch items were fresh (french toast, muffins, biscuits and gravy), there were made to order omelets, all the sides/fixings were tasty (coleslaw, burnt end potato salad, strawberry salad, grits), fresh fruit, pastries, and cheese were all lovely extras to add on! The adults all had cocktails and enjoyed them - there were a variety including bloody Marys, old fashioneds, mimosas, and coffee cocktails. We'll definitely be back!"
"My buddy and I searched Yelp for a good place to have happy hour before the Metallica concert on a Friday night at US Bank Stadium, where the Vikings play.EaTo is a few blocks from the stadium and was pretty empty at 4:15 when we got there, but when we left, it was pretty full. I noticed the had a nice bar that was seated outside. Our waitress was very nice and I ordered the $5 IPA, a nice craft beer. I also ordered the $8 pepperoni small pizza and my buddy and I decided to split an order of the happy hour wings. The food came out pretty fast, while I ordered another IPA. The pizza had lots of crispy curled up pepperoni, my favorite. The crust was thin, yet fluffy and fantastic and just the right amount of cheese. The wings had a rub instead of sauce and they were good size. The dipping sauce made them "Wingalicious"Great place for a Friday happy hour!"
"What a fun, casual, and family run restaurant. We came for lunch early on a Sunday and it was very busy, but we got a table quickly.Service was a little slow, but they didn't rush us out either. I loved the funny signs too.I enjoyed the Taste of Greece I ordered. I will definitely come back."
"We were a group of 3 girls, and arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday and it was pretty calm. There were a few taken tables, but we didn't need to claim a seat before ordering, so we walked up to the counter and placed our order. The service was good enough and it didn't take long for the food to come out. Everything tasted just fine. The portions are pretty big and you could probably share a plate between 2 people. We got the quiche, the farmers breakfast, and French toast. I don't know if I'd go again, but perhaps to try lunch? By the time we were done, people started packing in and had we waited longer to come in, we may not have had a place to site, but it worked out. Based on a sign at the cashier, we bussed our own tables, and it was a good visit."
"Enjoyed a stop in to Exchange. First note, you can reserve a table thru Yelp; if you choose "reserve" on their website, it prompts the phone number to call, which also works just fine! There were plenty of intriguing options on the menu and they have a special for the week menu as well. The specials menu has something under each of the regular menu categories, which I thought was pretty neat. Ended up getting the pumpernickel melt (basically a patty melt, but on a pumpernickel bun instead of rye) and the wild rice soup. Both were excellent. I'll definitely stop in again when I'm in the area."
"Manager called, apologized, refunded--thanked me for catching the excess tax after they had had a recent change in the billing systems within the hotel."
"Great food. Bar atmosphere that does open up a little later at night. Security moves out the cocktail chairs and tables. Overall have never been disappointed when going here. Great staff. If you're an Iowa Hawkeyes fan, this is your Iowa bar in the twin cities. Good drink specials during games and you'll have a good time."
"The people serving behind the counter have amazing personalities that will for sure have me back in there! The food was great and a good portion size as well! Cute on the inside and they also server some gluten free desserts and also doggy biscuits, lovely place! As a first timer when I went I was confused because their menu on the wall doesn't list what's in the meals. They do have smaller handheld menus I just didn't know they were there. However I asked the questions I had and the man behind the register answered all questions clearly and with a bright smile!"
"We went on a Saturday morning. The wait to be seated was only about 10 mins. The staff and service were great. The ambiance was good but the booth seats were hard as a rock. The food came pretty quickly after ordering, considering how busy they were. Everything tasted really good."
"A nice little family ran restaurant. Friendly staff. I ordered the pho with noodles, sliced beef, and meatballs. I don't remember what it was called on the menu. I tried it exactly the way it was delivered to my table, and it was a bit bland. However, it was served with a lime wedge and there was a variety of sauces on the table. I squeezed the lime wedge in and added some hoisin and sriracha sauces and in no time the bland flavor became exquisite.I ended up really liking it. I was a little disappointed with the initial bland flavor, but having the ability to add some citrus flavor and other sauces greatly enhanced the flavor and experience. The menu described it as a "big bowl", and that description was accurate. The serving size is immense. You're doing something wrong if you manage to walk away hungry after eating an entire bowl. It was more than I could finish. And unfortunately, I am traveling for work and don't really have a way to carry the leftovers with me and eat them later."
"Great atmosphere, welcoming, and inclusive with wonderful staff. I had the Thai iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious. Not sure I can drink other iced coffee again!"
""Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,..." (Macbeth)Ahh, fall...that time of year when pumpkin spice, apples and eye of newt are in high demand. Newt's North is the sibling bar and grill to Newt's original downtown location. It's significantly more spacious than its older brother, but both could be described as dark, loud, and slightly divey, with taxidermy mounts and blankets of popcorn perpetually and intentionally left covering the floor. Perhaps that's where the newts are hiding! Newtmerous sandwiches and unique burgers fill the menu here, earning the restaurant the title of "Best Burgers in Rochester" from Rochester Magazine every year since the early 2000's.The Three Piggy's Melt alone blows the house down with pepper Jack, crispy fried onions, bacon, ham, and pulled pork topped with a bourbon buffalo sauce (though personally I'd leave off the ham.) Wolf that baby down! My favorite hot mess to order is Todd's Burger, topped with bacon, fried eggs and cheese. It's a huge, delicious cardiac event waiting to happen. Split it into two meals or share it, because you're not going to grow a new heart unless you are, in fact, a newt. Not one to give Wisconsin all the glory for their curds, Newt's also makes some mean cheese curds that you simply must order on the side. While their burgers and curds are newtoriously good, I wouldn't make a special trip to Rochester just for dinner here. But it's always a perfect casual meal after a day of shopping at Apache Mall.Burgers-4.5 starsService-4 starsAmbiance-2.5 starsFree popcorn-5 stars in mouth, 1 star on the floor."
"I moved from MN but am back for a visit. This is one of the places I had to visit to get my fix. Nice changes: beautiful mural around the coffee order/creation area, new sconces (?) not sure but there is also high top tables and chairs. The vibe is always good and the coffee and food are top rate. I had a seasonal coffee and it was extra good. There is a second room with extra seating that is available for rental. I LOVE AMORE COFFEE. Peace"
"One of the few independently owned businesses in Maple Grove! I always prefer supporting small businesses when I can. Their panini sandwiches are really good. I usually get the Breakfast Panini or the Chicken Bacon Ranch. They offer a variety of milk alternatives, which I appreciate. There's also a lot of different syrups you could add to your drink as well. My only complaint is that I wish their online ordering allowed specifying no cheese! It's easy to do this in-person so I wish I could do the same when ordering ahead."
"I'm obsessed.Originally came here for a takeaway latte and it was so delicious we had to come back to check out the vibe and we were not disappointed. The iced vanilla latte is absolutely delicious. I believe I heard someone saying they make their own syrups. My friends also had the hot and cold mochas and a chai - all delicious. We also shared a caramel roll - OMG, I need all of the rolls all of the time. One of the best I've ever had. Ever. The build your own breakfast sandwich was good, as was the turkey lunch sandwich, spicy breakfast sandwich and the monster cookies (flourless!) - and now I got a cinnamon roll as takeaway to try something new! (Mostly because the caramel rolls were sold out today!) The service was friendly, accommodating and inclusive. The vibe is very Portland-esque which is lovely as I miss the PDX culture. I'll be back (probably more often than I'll ever admit!)"
"Nova Group hits it out of the park again! I didn't realize that this had opened but we were grabbing a quick dinner before doing an airport drop off and Hazelwood next door (also highly recommended) had too long of a wait. We split the NOVARA DELUXE and a Caesar salad - both were delicious. This is definitely a casual place. The plates almost look paper but are not!The crust and the sauce are absolutely delicious and we will be back!"
"A croissant banh mi is my favorite way to eat this Vietnamese sandwich and La Delicious Bread delivers a tasty one. The croissant was huge, the ingredients were fresh, and the pate was super yum. I'm a sucker for pate, just writing about it is making me want to go get this sandwich. I also grabbed a couple desserts, a big ole fruit macaron and chocolate mousse cake. Both were delicious, the fruit macaron was the favorite. Seems to be pretty busy most of the time, so plan to wait a bit or order online if you're in a rush."
"Me a long time, friend this morning for breakfast at this location. I've been here before, but today was a little different. It was busy and there was a line of about seven people. My buddy was just being seated, so I quickly joined him. We sat at the counter today And caught up on all times. Our server Jenn, brought us waters and gave us a minute to scan the menu before placing her order. We both had the #1, which was scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and sourdough toast. All for for $14. I've eaten out a lot over the years, but today was one of the best breakfast I ever had. The portion size seem to fit the overall price and I fit my value was spot on the money.Server, Jen, 5 stars. Atmosphere, joyful, busy, 5 starsFood, a terrific meal, 5 stars. Generous portions. I enjoyed our visit. I recommend and will return."
