"Love Blaine's staff. My 16month (enrolled at 3mos) and 4 yrnold attend Blaine's TT. They ALWAYS welcome with a smile. Their main focus is for my kids and me to be comfortable and happy with our time there. Love Miss Janelle and Miss Carrie."
"We first used tutor time as back up care because if their flexible hours for my 1 and 3 year old. Now my 3 year old attends 3 half days a week. They are friendly, very flexible with schedule (we adjust part time hours and days without a problem) and reasonably priced. If we need more days last minute, never a problem. Only complaint was last year my son's teacher left and it took awhile to get a permanent teacher, and we felt a little in a the dark about when she left and who was coming in. Now he has a great teacher and is learning a lot. Updates during the day are great. Once a week an ex-professional soccer player comes in (for a small fee), so my son gets soccer and has option for music. Lots of variety in activities and special rooms for play."
"My granddaughter is a student at Everbrook Academy in Brooklyn Park, MN. I have had the pleasure of picking her up on several occasions & I was extremely impressed with the school. First, the staff made sure to check that I was authorized to pick her up. Second, I noticed the cleanliness of the facility. Also, all the staff seemed to know my granddaughter by name. My daughter uses the parent portal & often shares photos with me which are periodically sent to her on a daily basis. She also shared a folder that was sent home showing progress, assignments & detailing learn goals, etc. The folder was filled with photos of my granddaughter participating in assignments & activities over a period of a few months. Each section of the folder contained handwritten notes about my granddaughter's progress and I was impressed with the fact that every note was positive. I really cannot think of one thing I do not like about this facility. I highly recommend it!"
"Ramalynn is a small school with a very large impact. Academics are impressive; sports are excellent; and culture makes Ramalynn a school like none other. We, my partner and I, want our children to grow with knowledge, confidence, kindness and tolerance. The students of Ramalynn are disproportionately represented in top academic and athletic honors, but their ability to weather defeat and help each other through loss is truly remarkable. If we are daring to achieve in our lives, we will all fail and lose along the way. The students of Ramalynn are taught, practice and demonstrate resilience. We also want our children to have a global appreciation and tolerance. Lack of prejudice is learned at Ramalynn by knowledge of the world and an appreciation for culture. The academic viewpoint is not "other cultures and people," but just culture and people. Approaching humanities with this mindset allows greater tolerance and appreciation for each other. I do not expect our children to be college or professional athletes, but Ramalynn has nurtured many young athletes, who have gone on for remarkable athletic careers. Mr. Krishna's ability to connect, motivate and teach sports and how to be a team should be the focus of a master class for ALL coaches. Ms. Cassy incredibly recognizes and appreciates each child's (yes EACH) gifts while nurturing curiosity and development. In Ramalynn Montessori Academy tradition, the teachers are a curated team from preschool through 8th grade, effectively educating to surpass standardized testing expectations, inter-school competitions and real world challenges. The multitude of incredibly successful and creative students and parents of high integrity are not on the walls or website. Word of accolades achieved by former students and parents is quietly passed with genuine happiness for another's success. Ramalynn's value is not in being a scene to be seen or an association to "name drop." Ramalynn is invaluable as a school because it is designed to and succeeds in allowing every child to become the most they can be while having enough courage to support their classmates to succeed."
"Our daughter has been attending Today's Life for since September 2018 & we love the environment and culture! Our daughter absolutely loves her Toddler teachers and my husband and I can truly tell how much she is learning in the class because she comes home with new knowledge everyday that simply reassures us that we made the right choice! The Lead teacher Marriyah & Asst. Director, Bronwyn have been the absolute best with our daughter. The center also utilizes the DailyConnect app so I can see updates throughout the day, get messages from teachers, and know how much she ate for lunch and snack which is helpful for dinner preparation. The Director Roberta is wonderful to work with as well! She is great with communication and wonderful with the kids as well. We're very happy with our decision after a rough first daycare experience."
"My girls LOVE going to the Goddard School (Woodbury)! The teachers are all amazing and they plan such fun learning activities. My oldest was beyond ready for kindergarten because of the educational foundation they provided her. Couldn't recommend enough!"
"We have had 3 kids attend Bright Prospects over the course of 7 years and we are so grateful for the amazing experience we've had. The teachers provide such a wonderful learning environment, they truly care about the kids, and honestly it feels like they have become part of our family! The co op nature of the school provides lots of opportunities to build community with the other families. We love the art projects, science activities, play based learning, all class drama play performances and the family camping trips! We'd highly recommend this school!"
"We were so nervous about taking our infant son to a center for childcare but this center is amazing. We felt right at home from the tour. Our son loves going each morning and has a huge smile for center director and assistant director. He's happy and smiling each evening. I've stopped by during the day before covid and got to know his teachers and I feel so comfortable with them participating in raising my son. They really care about the kiddos in their care and you can easily see that! I'm happy that we found and chose this center."
"Very caring staff, Christian-based environment. I love the small student to teacher ratio, and my child also loved the field-trips."
"Little Beginnings has gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to our son's care. Our son started last fall with strong separation anxiety, and has really blossomed from a shy one-year-old to a bubbly toddler who regularly signs, comes home with new vocabulary, and can't wait to show off his new habits (such as washing his hands and sitting on the potty unprompted)! Nearly all of the staff have been there for years, which I think says a lot about their quality as a center. I feel 100% comfortable leaving our son in their care."
"I am so impressed by this facility and the staff. The kindness and the genuine attention they've give my kid I really feel like she's in great hands. Notice the teachers aren't on their phones when we walk in at pickup or drop off they're always engaged with them. I was also impressed that the teachers walked up and introduced themselves to me personally. I know they take care of a ton of kids and I don't want to be a bother so this meant a lot to me. The schedule is great, the amount of progress the baby's made since being there has been incredible in such a short amount of time. Very happy with you guys! Thankyou!"
"If you're debating between Everbrook or elsewhere, choose Everbrook! Wonderful CareMy son has been here since he was 6 months and he's 2 now. But sadly we had to change daycare because we moved. It's been hard on everyone including the staff here who saw our son as their own and wrote the sweetest goodbye card for us! Don't be surprise to see teachers on the camera singing, dancing and hugging your kids! Best staffEveryone seems to know my sons name and he loves all his teachers. Courtnee (Principal) is a wonderful leader and absolutely love and adores the kids! And so respectful and understanding of parents concerns. The staffs are also so warm and welcoming!Diverse teachers My favorite part is they hire diverse teachers, this allows my son to learn about different cultures! Because of diverse teachers they try to celebrate different cultures New Years and holidays! Which is so rare in most daycares! Live streaming No other daycare offers this, to be honest I miss it. Also why they are more pricier than others. But so worth it for a paranoid parent like myself! If you're AsianMy son is the first in my family to be sent to daycare vs staying home with grandparents. So there was a lot of stigma with daycares. I have to say it's so worth it, he developed quicker, learn to eat on his own without being hand-fed. Is more independent and grew up in a more fun but structured environment! My family who were skeptic are seeing the overall benefit of daycares and this particular one! Great communicationWhether through apps, emails or office visit they are available to chat with you and follow ups fairly quickly. Clean! The school is fairly new! So it's clean and they do a good job of it. Our new daycare I can smell the diaper stench during pickup but didn't smell it once in the 2.5 years we went to Everbrook, must be good ventilation. The floors are always swept and tables are cleaned and sanitize which I appreciate seeing! I miss this daycare and the people there now that I have experience other options. Whatever you are doing Everbrook keep going!"

So happy with the care we've received here. This center really has it together--from the greeting at the door in the morning, to meeting our child's specific needs and simultaneously teaching great social skills, and of course great communication via their app so we always know what's going on with our little ones. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for care for their little ones.

Tutor Time took such great care of my kids! My son started going there as back up care when he was 1. Even though he only went there less than 15 times, they always remembered him and treated him as if he were a regular. My daughter started going there on a regular basis. She loved her teachers and her friends. Tutor time also took really good care of my daughters special dietary needs. We loved bringing our kids here!

I cannot recommend today's life as the best daycare in town. I don't know about the EP location, but they currently have a Minnetonka location that my child belongs to and it is closing next week. Due to their rent becoming to high, they are closing the location. But here's the kicker - they only gave us 3 weeks to find a new daycare! It really put the parents in a bind to find childcare quickly. And if you've had to find childcare before, you know it can be very challenging to find without being on a wait list.

"I think the two one-star reviews are being way too hard on this place. I just took a tour with Nicole to enroll my infant and it looked fine. Not as glamorous as New Horizons or Kindercare or montessori schools, but those are $125 more per WEEK or $500/month which is an insane amount of money. Frankly, my expectations going in were pretty low with the "too good to be true" infant rate they charge of $284/week for 5 days a week. But, my husband and I ended up being pleasantly surprised to the point that we are going to choose this place (after looking at all kinds of centers and in-home options). The second reviewer sounds like a snob. God forbid they use cloth diapers or the office doesn't look perfect. That's how they keep tuition low!!! As long as the kids are taken care of, happy, and learning is what is important. And, from what I saw, the kids looked happy and the place looked clean. The music didn't bother me. Seems like it would be fun for the kids. I didn't see this myself, but realistically I can see the teachers texting too much (they are young), but how do you know they don't do that at other centers as well? i will see how infant care goes and re-assess whether or not to go somewhere else for toddler care at that point. But, for infant care, I think it looks great."
"We simply adore Jardin Magico (Magic Garden). The staff is so friendly and loving to our two kids and happy to see them everyday. They practice positive discipline and really encourage the kids in everything they do. I love the fact that they feed the kids mostly organic, whole and healthy foods (the kids eat more veggies than anyone I know). My kids have attended JM for 2 years now (formerly in Edina) and both understand fluent Spanish and can speak pretty well, too. I feel both my kids will be well-prepared for Kindegarten when the time comes, but we will really miss Jardin Magico."
"We loved this place when it was Prestige, and the individual teachers are lovely, but Everbrook took over about a year ago and it's been one headache after another. The transition from Prestige to Everbrook was rocky at best with constant changes in dates and timelines, hiccups with technology, and the addition of unnecessary, new procedures. The way they handled COVID was downright embarrassing. My child was exposed EIGHT times (that's almost 3 times the number of exposures of other local daycares and both the Hopkins and Minnetonka school districts). But the newest drama is the kicker for me. There is a child in my daughter's class who is excessively aggressive. This child has targeted multiple students - including mine - for at least 3 months. Multiple families have complained, and we've all been given the exact same token response: "we have a plan in place." I've asked to meet with the directors and had my requests swept under the rug. In the meantime, my child is terrified to go to school and has come home with bite marks so deep I now have a detailed imprint of the other child's dental records. I could almost look past all of this if it weren't for the fact that my child is scared to go to school."
"When we first found out we were pregnant with our first child we knew we didn't want home based daycare, we wanted a center. In our area, the options are fairly limited, but we toured a couple places. Little Folks was our 2nd place we toured, as soon as we walked in the door we knew it was 1,000% better than the first place we went. We LOVED Katie, who we interviewed with, and we loved the center, the windows, the colors, the environment, everything. When we had our daughter and she started out there we were so happy with the care she received and that she seemed so happy there and her teachers were so great. We felt she was in a great daycare. Now that she is 2.5 and we have daughter number 2 there, we truly feel that Little Folks isn't just our kids 'daycare' Little Folks is an extension of our family. Our girls spend the majority of their day there, and to have that trust and comfort knowing that your children are not only safe, but also happy, learning, playing and absolutely THRIVING, that is something that you can't find just anywhere. Thank you Little Folks, for helping us raise our girls to be the best they can be. We love you guys!"
"Our daughter began attending the Cradle Club in downtown Minneapolis in October 2019 when she was just six months old. To say I was nervous about placing her in someone else's care would be to put it mildly. We had done our research and toured multiple facilities and just kept coming back to Cradle Club and the feeling we had from our tour, during which Sharita knew each of the children by name, the children seemed happy and excited about learning and playing and the teachers also seemed to be enjoying their time. The experience felt personal and as if we would be joining a family and a village that would help us raise and care for our little girl.We made the right choice. The teachers and the directors helped with the transition from my maternity leave to daycare and welcomed our daughter in such a way that she and we grew to love bringing her to school each day. The teachers truly care about the children and greet them with joy and huge smiles and excitement for the day ahead. The attention to detail and individual needs is evidenced by the care that goes into moving up to older classrooms and ensuring that we as parents feel heard and our child's needs are met. I would highly recommend Cradle Club!"
"great daycare. My daughter has recieved AAA care. The staff is super friendly and they really teach and care about all the kids."
"Choo Choo Montessori School is now a NAEYC certified preschool! As for the reviewer below, I can assure you I am a real parent with two boys who have attended Choo Choo. One is now in public school. I really don't appreciate the implication that I'm a fake person writing fake reviews. Feel free to ask the director who I am based on my profile photo, I'll be happy to introduce myself!"
"Update. 5/20/2021. I stand on what happened at Kinder Care in Cottage Grove. They say they reached out. Ha. Lacey didn't say anything to me. Never apologized. Nothing. They did release me from my two week contract. How nice."
"We had a nanny and a home day care until our daughter was about 22 months. I had almost been worried about how little she had been trying to talk when she entered Kindercare. Now, she speaks in full sentences (4 months later), uses scissors like a champ, holds markers (etc) "almost" properly, and sings us songs with actions all the time. Her main teacher is master's prepared and truly pushes these kids to the best of their abilities. She loves every teacher there and always comes home talking about her friends! The other main reason I love this daycare is that they're reliable. They're open as early and as late as we've needed them for our work schedules, and are extremely flexible when I need to add on days. At the in home daycare we had to deal with the daycare lady's kids being sick, or poor hours, or them leaving on vacation frequently. It was not reliable enough and I found myself having to call in sick at my job when my daughter nor I were sick. The directors are wonderful and respond to calls and emails quickly as well.Seriously, no complaints from this mama!"
"I wouldn't leave my dog with these people! The director Kayla is nice but she doesn't fit with a group of predominantly minorities. The teachers are visible high off what I hope is only marijuana. The facility is filthy. The tuition is about $410 a week. The staff is comprised of a bunch of single moms gaslighting as "teachers." When I asked about the curriculum, the lady replied: we're a daycare, not a school. Run!"
"Amazing center was in for a tour and was impressed. I have friends who actually did that go here and really love it. The place is very clean neat and organized. Keep up the great work!"
"Some staff was loving and caring (hence the extra star) and bonded with my children, however administrative staff was challenging. My child developed significant behavior issues because the staff was often favoring their own children who attended at the same time over kids whose parents did not work at the center. Staff children were rarely held accountable and tended to bully other kids. I agree with the previous reviewer regarding the director. She is very unprofessional, does not want to take accountability for issues and tends to blame the child or parent. J's demeanor is very passive aggressive and unpleasant, she is slow to respond to issues from parents. There is very little diversity among staff and children. I've seen kids exclude other children because of their skin color and staff refusing to address issues of racism among children. I don't recommend it."
"My son really enjoyed his time spent at The Goddard School. He was always welcomed and felt very loved by all of the staff at the school!"
"We love Kindercare! It is the best in town..my kid loves to go there. Teachers are friendly and their curriculum is really good"
"This place saved us. We were in a bind and needed backup childcare for 7 days, and used the Care.com backup program to help us find a center, and we got matched with Rogers Kindercare! The team in the infant room could not be better. They are so compassionate, patient and helpful!! My 10 month old son napped better at this center than at any other, and that, to me, is worth 10 stars. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for loving on our boy."
"Not worth what is being charged each week. It's a sad environment, dirty facility, and money is not well spent."
"Great little area! The kids are always learning and never want to leave! The staff are very educational and caring towards the kids and treat everyone as family! Definitely bring your kids here for exceptional "service""
"The teachers at Casa are amazing! they truly love nd care for your children like they are their own children. It is a warm and caring spot for children where they thrive and learn so much. Not just about letters but about the world, new countries and the latino culture! We couldn't be happier. They have also taken Covid very seriously and follow guidelines to the T."
"OK, in full disclosure, this is my first daycare experience and my first ever kid. And I'll admit, I'm a neurotic, anal-retentive, worried parent!I was scrambling looking for infant daycare in the Twin Cities. I had looked at several top rated places in the Highland Park area, and unfortunately, the wait lists were SUPER long! I originally thought I had a spot secured at the Jewish Community Center (JCC), and that ended up falling through... so I was urgently scrambling to find a place that met my expectations. Someone had recommended Jardin, so my husband and I toured it immediately. We met with Jardin's Center Director, Hortensia. She was kind, professional, and very patient with all my numerous (read "neurotic!") emails and questions. It was a brand new facility when I toured it (it just opened up in Feb/March of 2017) and was shiny, clean, brightly colored, and new. My husband and I were immediately impressed with Jardin... and we weren't even looking for a language immersion daycare. We ended up enrolling our son there within a few days (we knew their infant spots were going to fill up fast!), and I'm so glad we secured a spot! What I love about Jardin-St. Paul? I love the three daycare providers in the infant room - Isaura, Marisol and Jesica are so kind and gentle with our child, and I feel really good about leaving our kid here. He's always smiling and happy while here, and when I've dropped by several times (to randomly breastfeed him when I have time), he seems very happy! I love how Cheryl (at the front desk) occasionally sends us pictures of our son interacting with the teachers, as it gives me some peace that he's happy there. I also love that I can come and go to breastfeed as needed. What are some other pros? While my kid isn't eating food yet, they serve organic food here (Their menu looks so good, I want to eat there!). And they are super eco-friendly. They use cloth diapers during the day (You bring your kid in their regular diaper - we use disposable - and they change him in and out of cloth diapers throughout the day. They also change him at the end of day so you go home with a disposable diaper). They provide diaper rash cream, as needed. You don't get nickel and dime'd for everything (e.g., diapers, meals, etc.). They have a great fenced in outside playground and an indoor gym. (Plus, Tori Ramen is right across the street so you can grab a quick meal before you pick up your kid!). The cons? It's not in the best area of Selby-Dale/St. Paul. And the hours (7:30AM-5:30PM) are very narrow if you have a job that has earlier or later hours. Occasionally, the door has been locked at 7:30AM, so I've had to call to be let in.That said, the pros outweigh the limited cons, and we've been super happy here. Nothing negative to review at all so far!Overall, I couldn't be happier. Love this place so far. Two thumbs up!!!"
"Nice gym. Old but descent equipment and variety.Staff was very friendly and it was loverlooking the beautiful river when you work out!"
"My family loves Smart Start and we highly recommend them! Our two kids went there and loved the staff. They had a ton of great activities for the kids and my husband and I are really impressed with this place."
"Wonderful preschool! The teachers are so sweet and my kids love participating in preschool. I love the flexibility of the schedule too. I've sent two of our kids here so far and definitely going to be sending our 3rd as well. Great, safe, affordable, environment."
"When we found out that the local school district was not doing in-person learning for pre-kindergartners, we looked around for other in-person options and came across Primrose. They were a saving grace for us during this pandemic. The curriculum is great and the teachers/staff all do a fantastic job in building up social skills of the kids.I am surprised and amazed at the effort that staff members take regarding cleaning and safety precautions during this pandemic which ensures for them to stay open for in-person schooling. We have been with primrose for over 6 months and plan on being with them for many more months and possibly years."
