"Small business lots of tools some small items limited variety we were just browsing looking for nothing in particular friendly staff"
"I am not a craftsperson but I think this welcoming local business could make me one! They offer beads, stones, all the accoutrements of jewelry making, classes, etc..."
"Unique, quirky spot that offers clothing & accessories for women (and gifts for the men to give to their women-HINT). Be sure and peruse the sale items (and the 50% off sale rack). The coolest thing in the place was a helmet that was fashioned into a backpack, but didn't get it because it was more $ that I could explain to my husband. Still, it's a great place to check out!"
"We were looking for some REAL native american jewelry for my sweetie's sister from The Netherlands, and just happened to have stumbled on this place. They've been here, in an exurb of Minneapolis, for about 20 years. It's like a store you'd have found in rural Arizona 30 years ago. The couple and their daughter have a museum quality changing collection of all kinds of Native American jewelry, blankets, kachina dolls, literature, etc. The dad makes jewelry which is sold there. They have earrings for $30 and Tommy Singer squash blossom necklaces for $5,000. Worth the drive."
"I took my wedding set in to get sautered, I called ahead, got there, and it seemed like they had no idea they had just talked to me. They told me to come back and pick up in an hour, we gave a little more time than that, when we got there, the rings looked beautiful, it had been cleaned, and the charge was under $80 for the three rings. I was very happy. I waited awhile to see if they held up, they have just fine. Very happy."
"I visited Minneapolis with a friend for Memorial Day weekend, and we're both big readers and love to visit and support independent bookstores. When we were planning our weekend, we knew we had to stop at Birchbark! Owned by Native American author Louise Erdrich, Birchbark is committed to stocking Indigenous American authors and titles and has an amazing selection of books and other items! I loved visiting the store. It's tiny (and a little cramped) but lovely. Definitely check it out. Support your local independent bookstores (stepping off my soapbox now)!"
"Such a cute shop!! Tucked away in Edina, Harriet and Alice has a great selection of yarns and crafting tools. I stopped by to buy some yarn for my crocheting, and easily found some that fit my price point and quality I was looking for. They truly have every yarn possible here. Every color, type, size, quality... Plus the staff is so sweet and helpful! Can't wait to stop by again soon to buy more yarn"
"The staff gave great customer service when I found a product that was overpriced when looking up pricing. The three staff members that helped me were I believe Steve, Lauren, and Alan. They made me laugh and have a good experience which is hard to do. I really appreciated them taking the time to talk with me and joke around with me. And for the free smile face mask !"
"Great staff and service! East, efficient, and sizes fit the first time! My fiancé gets many compliments on her ring. They also do custom rings if you don't find what you want. Will be coming back for our wedding bands! Also a small business if you like to support local businesses."
"Such a beautiful eclectic spot full of lovely decor, cards, jewelry, prints that you can get framed onsite. Loved"
"This is such a great shop in this cute town. Found some interesting french items here. I like the assortment here as there's everything from hats to asian decor. We spent an hour here perusing around and really enjoyed walking around. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Stockholm, Wisconsin."

While in the Twin Cities, I wanted to check out bead stores because it is like going into a candy store. The Beadhive is a quaint, welcoming shop. They have a gorgeous assortment of gems, charms, beads, fittings, etc.I found some unique treasures and would have happily purchased more if my budget allowed.I will definitely visit again!7

Fun, fun, fun jewelry store. I love perusing these kinds of overflowing stores that leave me overjoyed. It's a bit of an organized mess, but the thrill is in finding the right necklace or earrings or purse or, in my case, all three. I found the most adorable animal necklace which for the longest time I thought was an owl merged with a squirrel. Thankfully, my friends called out how dumb I was when they pointed out that clearly, it was a fox. What can I say? I slept through science. I also found an adorable pair of airplane-shaped earrings that I had to buy. If I can't fly around the world anytime I want, I sure as hell am gonna wear jewelry that suggests that I do. And, you gotta comb the store, because you'll find some pretty functional accessories, too, like a purse that fits an iPhone and allows you to access the phone while it's in the purse through its plastic side. Genius! My friend and I each bought one, and it is the snazziest thing ever.

I would definitely recommend Miller's Jewelry for your next purchase or repair. Staff members are super friendly and helpful. I've brought my ring in a couple of times now for repair and cleaning and they were able to appraise my ring as well. The repair team is amazing! They catch everything and they always make sure you're satisfied.

This is a fantastic little Trading Post. I imagine this is how they used to be. It's a smaller place but absolutely packed with amazing Native American purses, artwork, and lets not forget the jewelry. It's all hand-made and extremely good quality. The stones and beads they use are beautiful. I'm going to tell my husband to skip getting my Valentines day at some jewelry store in the mall - I need some of these pieces!

Such a special bookstore with many thoughtful touches and offerings of Native American books, arts and decorations.I knew about this place from the author/owner and was happy to pay this place a visit. The staffs are kind and helpful, and I like the selection for fiction/non fiction and notes they offer. They also have a bunch of kids books and upperdeck for kids I think. The bookstore feels very calming and patrons are also kind and respectful.

What a cute little shop. Plenty of selection and friendly staff. Cute little gifts. A bit hard to find, it's down an alleyway from the Main Street. Look for the orange sign. Love the name. The cults little tote bag is perfect for... my niece Harriet !

"The diamond from my 36 year old engagement ring came loose. I didn't want a new ring per se because I am attached to the history of my original ring and the story behind it. A colleague had gone to Artelle Designs to redesign their wedding ring so I went in for a consultation.First off, your experience with Stuart and Ellie will feel like coming home. They understand the emotions tied into a ring. They melted down my old ring, used the existing diamond and some extra gold from other pieces and added some new stones as well that worked with the design I was going for. Stuart is a master artist who takes the time to make things right. At the end of the day, I ended up with my same original ring redesigned for the present and future. I cried when I saw it. It is a pleasure to wear such a beautiful piece of art. Thanks so much, Stuart and Ellie! Trust me. Go see them. You will not be disappointed. The experience of meeting them as a couple, was equally as heart warming as creating the ring. We will definitely be back for other pieces!"
"There's a small section on the 2nd floor, including clothing items. Cafe is on the ground floor, jewelry and Pandora section too. I never got into Pandora at all. There's a lot of stuff in here. It's all pretty random, though some items are grouped together too. General Store and oh so much more here. Separate doors for entry and exit."
"Awwww. You guys! It's like my very favorite stop in Minneapolis for unique and awesome Minnesota-themed gifts had a cute little baby store! You guys! What should we get it? Do you want to go in together???OK so seriously. I love to shop at the main I Like You store in Minneapolis (it is my guilty pleasure shopping store that I hit when my husband is out of town, shhh). So of course I was going to stop over at the new location when I was over in St. Paul. The store is smaller but just as cute, just as well-appointed and just as fun. I will admit, I was a little bummed that the selection is so limited compared to the main store. But I still found plenty to look at, laugh at and ooh and ahh over. They have a wall of fun and unique Minnesota T-shirts just like the main store, hysterical greeting cards that feature a lot of curse words and a nice but smaller selection of beer merch, Minnesota stuff, jewelry, pins, coasters, and all kinds of other Minnesota-themed items. It is truly like the main store had a little baby store and it is seriously just cute as a button. Do you think it looks more like the mom or the dad?But my five stars here is largely because of my experience on my first visit to this particular store. I was a day or two from leaving on a work trip to Asia and had the random last-minute idea to bring something Minnesota along for my colleagues there. I was searching for something small but something meaningful, plus something that would travel well. The woman who was staffing the store was so awesome -- making suggestions, helping me look, encouraging me to completely paw through her entire box of pins to see if there were enough of one particular kind, and eventually, when I zeroed in on the right item, going in the back and literally pulling out her entire stock of that item so that I could go through and find all the ones that did not have an individual price tag sticker on it so that I didn't have to spend the time de-stickering 50 items. She even called the other store to check on inventory over there. She was a total rock star. And for the record, my colleagues loved the gifts. They were a huge hit! Hey I Like You! I like you too!"
"Patina needs to take a good long look at CorAzoN (especially in terms of customer service) for some pointers. I know that Patina is held in a super high regard in this area, but I just don't get it. Their employees always act like they have somewhere better to be and 90% of their merchandise is just overpriced gift basket filler. This CorZaoN is small, but everything they carry is really high quality and feels one-of-a-kind (some of it is) and unique. You won't find $10 head scratchers here and you won't walk out feeling like you just wasted your time. Most importantly, the staff are helpful but give you your space (I hate going into tiny stores only to feel like I'm being watched the entire time because there is absolutely nothing else to occupy the employee's time.) The parking is kind of questionable - there is customer-only parking which is usually full, but there are other spots right next to those. I'm not sure if they belong to the condos above the stores because they aren't marked, so I always wonder if I'm going to get towed if I park in them. So, four stars it is."
"I come here infrequently to shop, and I am always pleasantly surprised by the variety of clothing and accessories for sale. All the women working here are friendly and helpful. Having made a few purchases, and later deciding an item was not what I wanted, I've enjoyed the ease and friendliness of their return policy."
"It was really kind of by accident that I stopped into Grace & Co but I was glad I did. After a walk around Lake Harriet I was headed to the Bibelot and pulled what I thought was their door but instead grabbed the door to Grace & Co. So it is literally right above the Bibelot and next door to Sebastian Joe's. Karen Lang, the owner, greeted my girlfriend and I and she was very welcoming. You will find a variety of different gift ideas here by local artisans. I picked up a leather key holder but there are baby clothes, handmade jewelry, Muddy Mouth greeting cards, hand-stitched ties, Love Your Melon Beanies (that raise money for kids with cancer) and much more. There is also a great selection of refurbished and hand painted furniture. My girlfriend was interested in a dresser and mirror that was refurbished. I thought it was moderately priced and in really good condition. This place has some unique gift options. If you are in Linden Hills take a peak! You might find a treasure or two."
"My husband and I were in town the week of 6/23/21 and I stopped in this store during our trip. This store seems to have a nice selection of seed beads, but the big disappointment for me was that they are all behind a counter, and understandably customers cannot go behind the counter. However, I like to handle the bead tubes and compare colors and oftentimes I will have several colors at once for comparison. In this shop, since the beads are behind the counter, the customer would need to rely on staff. This would make for an uncomfortable and unpleasant shopping experience for me, as a lot of the joy of shopping is actually being able to handle the merchandise. I ended up leaving the store and not making a purchase."
"Stopped in here completey on a whim and am glad I did. The staff are very helpful and take time to help find things that fit your style and are honest about fit. If you like unique clothing, of any stripe, or lovely jewelry, this is a great spot. Not to mention there are great gift items no matter your budget. The clothes I bought are things I'd consider staples but with design you won't find at a big box store. Go check it out!"
"One room leads to another, which leads to another, which leads to another.... great selection of new (beads, soaps, candles and lotions) and antiques. Both me and my husband found things we "needed"."
"Come for a coffee and shop an eclectic mix of apparel, accessories and gifts. If you are looking for a great local business to support, this surely fits the description. The coffee is great and the other drinks I have had have been on par with any big chain. I loved that my refresher was served in a giant glass goblet! How fun. There are a variety of seating choices. Long benches at large tables, cozy chairs, and bistro seating outside; provide you any kind of experience you desire. The seating gets moved around into different configurations every few months. The mix of things to buy is outstanding. There are small kids gift items, women's handbags and accessories, women's apparel and jewelry on display throughout the entire store. I have only had the Renata to eat. It's such a unique combination or flavors, salami, pineapple, cheese and mustard, but it tastes to good If you are looking for unique gifts this holiday, come here! There are several leather imported handbags I have my eye on. There are also locally artisan made items to choose from. Only open until 3 pm daily so plan accordingly."
"I'm so glad I found Raza Jewelers, my new go to for watch batteries and miscellaneous jewelry repairs. I'd been going out of my way to WBL to a franchise I will not name, so finding a closer alternative to me and being able to support a small business owner is a huge win. This place is a kiosk right across from the food court. I came in for a new watch battery and was greeted right away by the friendliest guy working in the mall that day. It took only about 10 minutes. They've got some good stuff in the cases to check out, so it could be dangerous to linger, you might end up coming home with some new pieces. The service was super fast, ultra friendly, and the cost was reasonable, along with a one year warranty on the battery. Can't beat that."
"Time to update the review now that the store and Johnson Ave NE are fully opened.A bright aqua building with many decorations brightens the street and corner with a patio and landscaping. Now bigger with a wider variety of spiritual and perhaps what we called new age products, i like you ,(they use all lower case), is a cool quirky choice for gifts and cards. The previous store may have had more daring cards, however you can carefully select and still find humorous with mildly profane, or not so mild, to give to understanding friends. Be cautious what you may select for your boss or in laws. There is the scent of incense and more essential oils and clothing to choose from."
"Had my ring repaired here and the service was exceptional! Not only was John prompt with a estimate but he was very quick to get ahold of me when it was done. The ring looked better than brand new after he cleaned it. He also did a diamond replacement on my engagement ring after I had lost one of the diamonds. Very professional work and a comfortable environment. In a work from home environment it can be a little questionable, but I fully intend to go back to him with all jewelry repairs I will need in the future. I would recommend him to anyone that needed repairs or any type of jewelry purchase. He is great!"
"I stopped into Shop In The City a few weeks ago and was a bit more impressed with the merchandise than my first visit. If you're looking for a gift for a lady or a kid, you could definitely find something here... and something really cute. I tried on scarves and ogled coffee table books for quite a while before removing myself from the premises. There's also a large kids section, plus plenty of scented candles, jewelry, novelties and journals. As I mentioned in my older review, it's kind of like a Patina or a Bibelot, but it's not a big chain. It is a very small local chain, actually, since there is another shop in the Fulton neighborhood. And I feel much better about supporting them than the big guys."
"Small shop but surprisingly variety of high quality and unique jewelry selections. Friendly and helpful associates. I love my unique quartz stone necklace. Thank you!"
"Well after some hesitation due to some previous reviews I visited today ,,, boy were they wrong. The shop was well stocked, the service was superior in every way and I found just what I wanted! In and out with help finding just what I wanted!!! And on sale even!!! Prices were below what I've paid elsewhere and I'm please as punch for my purchase. Highly recommend."
"The cutest little Christian store in the area! There's so much to chose from. From items with quotes, to clothing items, children's toys, Christmas items, kitchen items, jewelry, books, journals, and so much more! We went here looking for a few gifts for someone we know that just lost her mom and we found the perfect candle and devotional book. The employees are very friendly and there if you have any questions. The price range varies depending on the item. You can find things that are reasonable priced to more expensive pieces. I loved the cozy atmosphere. This is a store you could walk around over and over again and find things you didn't see before!"
"I've been eyeing these stackable rings for a while. I'll go in, try them on, gaze at them lovingly, and then take them off. It's this dance I do. Someday, I might even buy them. Max's is a cute little jewelry/gift store in the Excelsior Grand area. As I live near there, I find myself popping in occasionally. I've purchased chocolates for friends and my mom bought a lovely glass ornament one year. It doesn't have "something for everyone" as say, a Bibelot or Corazon, but there are lots of lovely pieces that are sure to brighten everyone's day."
