This soft serve is a tasty milk ice texture that brings you back to the old school soft serve days. I loved having a perfectly "burnt" marshmallow and the presentation was fun and light hearted. The affogato was to die for. I appreciated the strong pull of warm espresso with the creamy ice cream ( if it hadn't been 6p in the evening, I'd probably had 1 more). Great place for kiddos with good outdoor seating and space to play a little. Parking was a non issue."

"This place was popping on a Saturday night but plenty of seating if you stalk a little (don't be creepy about it). We got the sundae which for $10 ish wasn't a bad deal. It had 4 scoops of ice cream, edwards rich chocolate sauce and blondie chunks. The bowl and spoons were an experience. It was hectic but the staff had a great attitude and even let me try a flavor or two of ice cream. I will say that I felt like the ice cream was rich and decadent but that there might have been a slight after taste that I couldn't put my finger on."

I have yet to taste any stale toppings so I congratulate the owner on doing that. It's hard to find somewhere that sells ice cream and it's toppings where it doesn't have either stale sprinkles or ice cream with freezer burn. I get it sometimes happens to some flavors but it seemed as if the freezers needed to be turned up a bit or the heat down. The inside has very limited space to sit. It was a beautiful fall day and we enjoyed the outside tables available. Staff were not overly friendly or talkative to customers but more wanted to talk to each other but they did their jobs at the same time. It was $36 for 5 single cones/ dish."

The place is tiny and doesn't have any tables that seat more than 4 on the patio, but it's such a close walk to the lake that you could absolutely sit by the water with a cone. The ratio at Mavericks is closer to right for my tastes, but could maybe use just a bit more cheese. The super cheesy pizzas are always super greasy, anyways. Minimal grease on Mavericks pie."

Lil yang and I went here yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Lil yang got a small sugar cone with cake and ice cream(flavor), and almond joy(flavor). I got a small cake cone with Zanzibar Chocolate. Our total was $5.50. The amount of ice cream we got was a lot! I was so full after my ice cream, I had to consider that my dinner. Probably not the smartest idea, but hey, it was Lil yang's birthday treat. I haven't tried their food there, but I was recently looking at their menu, and I enjoy a good brat or polish sausage. There aren't a huge variety like grand ole creamery, but what they do have is a great selection, and the price is amazing! Support this local shop, you won't regret it!"

"Such a fun place to visit on a hot summer day! Scoops is a small little ice cream shop that definitely stays busy. My mom and I decided to go get ice cream today for a little treat and I had never been to scoops. We waited in line for about 10 minutes. They have about 18-20 different flavor options to choose from, and multiple different ways for it to be severed. You can choose from a traditional cone, sugar cone, waffle cone, bowl, or waffle bowl. I chose to get a 2 scoop bowl with the flavors Banana Buttercup and S'more! Both were extremely delicious! They give you a lot of ice cream for your money here, I was stuffed by the time I got to the bottom of my bowl. My mom had a waffle cone with the Dragon Berry flavor, she didn't care for it too much, wished it had a bit more flavor. However I think she was less impressed because it was a sorbet. Either way we had a great time and will be coming back for some more treats!"

It was really sweet and taste reminded me of chocolate milk versus a milk tea. It did have ample boba which was nice! I also ordered their waffle with Oreos and Nutella. It was perfect to split between two people. It felt more of a kid vibe place but I do love that I can get spyhouse coffee local now! I'll be checking this place out again."

I've had their drip, afogato (they also sell ice cream) and their bakery items. I recommend the savory scone. This is a good place to get some work done - outlets are aplenty if you sit by the wall. They showcase new art every month it seems and usually have fresh flowers or live plants on their tables. Parking is on the street and fairly easy to find. I'm a fan."

Some flavors include: Pomegranate, Juicy lemon, chocolate and vanilla. They offer an abundance of dry and liquid toppings, with tons of fresh fruit as well! The best/worst part, is that you pay by the ounce! Best: because you get to choose exactly how much you want of everything. Worst: I often get carried away with the fruit selection, and my bill gets to be a little heftier than I would like. Usually, mine amounts to around $3.50 or $4.00.Decor-wise, this place is very modern, with cute little couches, and even has free WI-FI! Beware, as this is "the place to go" for high schoolers, and those cool wannabee middle schoolers as well. Families coming from soccer practice can also be seen here. It just opened in 2009 and the founders recently opened a new location at the Mall of America. Check-check-check it out!"
