"My mom needed personalized ornaments for gifts and I had seen this store had a huge selection. The person had all 3 perfectly personalized within a few mins I couldn't believe it. 3 personalized ornaments were about $52 but we love them and can't wait to gift them."
"We were greeted immediately by an absolutely bright and charming man who welcomed us to the store and told us about some holiday specials they had going on. It was small business Saturday so the shop was very busy and tough to navigate. The smell in the store is heavenly and they have a wonderful selection of the Thymes fragrances and collections. The merchandise includes gifts, decor, body fragrances/soaps/lotions, food items, and more. The Copper Pony not only fills a void in the marketplace but it brings an elegance to the downtown St. Cloud area. I wish them lots of success!!"
"This is probably one of the coolest musical stores that I've seen. Electric Fetus is a must visit for anyone interested in music in all forms. I collect plenty of vinyls and this place has a wonderful collection to choose from. They have Electronic Dance Music, Rock, Goth, Pop, even Japanese My Little Totoro Vinyls, the lost is extensive. They not only have vinyls, but also CDs, merchandise, and anything you can think of music-wise whether you're looking for that special Dad or friend's gift or want to check out music in the most old school cool way of doing it. The interior is quite large and lots of friendly staff to help you. It was also pretty busy on a random weekend too, making it an adventure to just look around. I have found some vinyl gems here for my collection, and if you get a record player as well you can join in the fun.5/5, I'd easily recommend it to anyone interested in music, or if you want to find a unique musical gift to someone."
"Had a wonderful experience! Found the perfect baptism gift for my nephew- something elegant that he can treasure for a lifetime! I also found that they carry many products that donate proceeds back to some great causes- love to give back and shop local whenever we can! Looking forward to finding many more treasures in the future! #LifetimeCustomer"
"If you like rustic, country, shabby chic types of decor you will love this place. They also offer things like hand made soaps, jams and candles etc too. Lots of things to choose from here and they change their decor with the seasons and holidays as well. The staff is also helpful and friendly. Love this charming little store."
"This place is a wonderful and delightful place to visit...not only because of all the wonderful gifts and home decor you can find, but also because the owners and who are working at the store are SUPER friendly and genuinely appreciate your patronage. The items they carry vary seasonally and is there really fun stuff, they merchandise it in a great way that helps you envision it in your own home or cabin. (It's not just home decor...LOTS of great things for yourself and to buy as gifts). I highly recommend Modern Barnyard and a great way to support local."
"The store offered a wide selection of romance novels, thoughtfully categorized by type and sub-genre, with tables for everything (historical, L.G.B.T.Q., YA, supernatural, romantasy, sports-themed, vampires, aliens, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, forbidden love, secret identity... I could go on). They also carry both indie published and traditionally published books!Customers are encouraged to leave book recommendations on cards for each other, so you can spread the love for your favorite. Staff are super friendly and even all the customers seemed determined to make this a welcoming and inclusive space. I fell in love with the tote bags, couldn't decide which one to buy, and then bought all three of them. Then, on the way to check out with my pile of books and pile of tote bags, I got caught by the stickers, and had to buy some of those too.Tropes & Trifles is a wonderland and I wish I could live there. You should absolutely support this women-owned, local and independent business."
"I visited Minneapolis with a friend for Memorial Day weekend, and we're both big readers and love to visit and support independent bookstores. When we were planning our weekend, we knew we had to stop at Birchbark! Owned by Native American author Louise Erdrich, Birchbark is committed to stocking Indigenous American authors and titles and has an amazing selection of books and other items! I loved visiting the store. It's tiny (and a little cramped) but lovely. Definitely check it out. Support your local independent bookstores (stepping off my soapbox now)!"
"Exceeded expectations. Ordered a boutonnière and corsage over the phone based on an arrangement called Brown Sugar in the Yelp photos. I had never been here before but I liked the floral styles they showed on Yelp. Service over the phone and in person during pick up were both excellent. I was nervous as to how it was going to turn out because I didn't see anything in person beforehand. When I saw the completed product, it exceeded my expectations. High quality all around and appropriate pricing for what you get. Glancing at their in-house florals, it all looked healthy and beautiful. I will definitely order from here again. They just know what they're doing."
"Best place ever!!! OMG!!! Today was my birthday and the ONLY thing I wanted was cotton candy. Since our go to place (and the only place we knew) closed down we searched for a fun new place. My husband found this and knew it was mostly candy and popcorn I was so surprised to see cotton candy. Best day ever! The young girl working the register was so sweet and the girl who made the cotton candy and handled the popcorn was nice as well. We drove over a half hour for this birthday request and will definitely be back for some treats!!! Thanks for making my birthday!"
"Such a cute shop!! Tucked away in Edina, Harriet and Alice has a great selection of yarns and crafting tools. I stopped by to buy some yarn for my crocheting, and easily found some that fit my price point and quality I was looking for. They truly have every yarn possible here. Every color, type, size, quality... Plus the staff is so sweet and helpful! Can't wait to stop by again soon to buy more yarn"
"Cute shop! Though I love the Independence, MN, location better because it's in an old creamery building out in the country so it's bigger with more nooks and crannies to explore. This spot is a nice fix closer to home with super cute home decor made out of found objects and antiques. I found most of their prices spendy, but I am more of a do-it-yourselfer/ crafty type. I still found lots of great ideas! I even bought an old pill bottle and have a list of a few other items I will go back to get, budget willing. My Mom got a peony type flower made out of old sewing patterns! Super cute! Our other fave ideas were old coffee carafes as planters and Ball jars painted metallic! They also have the old-fashioned milk paints for sale or for classes which antique wood nicely. Definitely check this store out!"

SO cute! This family-owned pop-up store is the best I've found for Christmas items! - HUNDREDS of ornaments, just about all of them can be personalized for your family members, for your pets, even blank jersey ornaments can be designed to represent your favorite team or school colors! Huge variety, too, from traditional spheres and feathered clip-on birds, to specific dog breeds, to very elegant looking glass pizza and beer ornaments (I'm serious, they're classy...) just about any item you can imagine can be found in ornament form here.- My absolute favorite thing they sell: Thymes Frasier Fir candles. I buy one every year here. I'm super sensitive to artificial fragrances (I nearly faint walking past any Bath & Body or Yankee Candle stores) but WOW these smell like the real deal - nothing fake about it! They have diffusers, lotion, soaps, and a variety of candle sizes, do yourself a favor: buy one & pretend you live in a forest. - Gift wrapping! They offer gift wrapping for ANY items purchased at the mall, and the pricing is very reasonable! - Honestly, even if you don't celebrate Christmas, this is a great spot for seasonal decor, unique mittens and winter accessories, and little gifts for anyone to enjoy! This year CC is located up on the second floor between the Express stores and Lens Crafters. It's a huge space, even larger than previous years, and there's a ton to see.

I went to the Copper Pony for the first time last week after seeing their "ladies night out" event advertised. There was complimentary wine and small desserts and Chex mix, so why not?! This store is a unique gift and decoration store. It's the place you go when you need a gift for your mom, your significant others mom, or a friend at work. They have a lot do cute home decor, hilarious and witty cards, and some fun food items that you always see at gift shops like dips and spreads. They also have tons of Christmas decorations! They also had some kitchen stuff too. The prices aren't too bad, I've seen much worse at other cute gift shops. I would return again next time I need a gift for someone who is hard to buy for. This place is a great addition to downtown Saint Cloud.

When in the cities, we always stop at the Fetus to add to our vinyl collection. They always have an incredible selection of music, gifts, cards. Today I found a new Santana album! The staff is always so helpful and friendly, not to mention knowledgeable.

If you are a fan of the shabby chic decor this is a must see destination! The Round Barn has new & old home/garden decor along with antiques, furniture, foods & more! You can't possibly see everything they have to offer in one loop around the barn...and yes, it is actually a round barn...painted bright red so you can't miss it from the main road. They change out the decor according to season so make sure to stop by & stock up on your favorite holiday items.Check out their website at www.roundbarnpottingco.com.

I love how John and Jim search for and find lost and orphaned pieces of the past, give them their magical touch, and give them reasons to be loved and treasured again. I love my rescued piece that they revitalized. They also have such a large selection of items for sale that I always find something new when I visit. Great store to check out if you've never bee

A wonderful first time at Tropes & Trifles. I love supporting small bookstores and one focused on romance is exactly up my alley! The store was packed only 20 minutes after opening and they had lots of staff available to help with the long check out lines and give recommendations. It was awesome to see the owners spending lots of time with customers giving great recommendations. I loved that they had a recommendation station where visitors can leave recommendations or reviews on the shelves for books - such a fun way to engage the community. They had a large selection of books that were well categorized and organized. I love and aesthetic book shelf. Will certainly be back!!

Such a special bookstore with many thoughtful touches and offerings of Native American books, arts and decorations.I knew about this place from the author/owner and was happy to pay this place a visit. The staffs are kind and helpful, and I like the selection for fiction/non fiction and notes they offer. They also have a bunch of kids books and upperdeck for kids I think. The bookstore feels very calming and patrons are also kind and respectful.

"My Minneapolis friend brought me here to ensure that I would go home with some cute trinkets/souvenirs made by local artisans. (I love supporting small business owners/artists, as I am one myself.) The shop itself is not very large, but there's a decent selection of cute stuff that, for the most part, is thematically congruent with the Minnesota/Minneapolis experience. I couldn't resist a glittery ornament depicting the spoon and cherry statue (if you know, you know!). You'll find things like t-shirts, kitchen towels, wooden spoons/spatulas, chocolate, soaps, wooden art blocks, coasters, puzzles, jewelry, baby clothes, coasters, keychains, postcards, stickers, etc. I am uncertain how much or how often stock changes. Prices were pretty reasonable, considering-- obviously more than cheap junk from China would cost, but also more unique and special!"
"This is a great store! It is a faith-based store filled with spiritual and uplifting items for the home. Every time I come here to buy a gift for someone, I end up buying five or six additional items. The store owner, Joann, is extremely warm-hearted and helpful. Yesterday, my wife and I stopped by the store to purchase a Christmas gift for that "hard to buy for" person. Joann walked around the store with us pulling out items she thought might be appropriate. Her ideas were spot-on. We ended up buying one of her suggested items- and then, as usual, five or six other items. The prices are very reasonable and the store is very warm and inviting. It's worth the trip!"
"What a great toy store. Three rooms of toys, great helpful staff. I went shopping for our grandsons birthday. I had come with suggestions from my daughter in law. When I got there, one of the staff listened to my request, took me to the appropriate area and made some suggestionsShe was also cognizant of my price considerations which I appreciated Great value for the service and selection of high quality toys"
"I'll take one of everything. The beauty of the gifts items is one thing, but they have the most glorious scented soap, lotions, even aerosol room sprays I've ever encountered. A huge display of scented candles was my weakness. You can easily furnish a kitchen here. It's a lot like Bibelow without the clothes. Although they do have some gorgeous scarves. I ended up buying a couple of pairs of a sturdy flip flop sandal, mostly for looks. The half off sale section isn't much, so you won't get a lot of bargains. But if you are a new customer, sign up, you get discounts after spending $150, not difficult. I got a 20% coupon in my email, so that motivated me to come back. Not that I needed much prodding since it's in the same building as Jensen's Cafe."
"I'm very happy with the quality of the plants purchased here. I was also pleased with the prices. We just bought a tree for only $35, and anywhere in the cities we would have paid $100. The staff are VERY knowledgeable! Many times when you go to a garden center, the workers don't know enough about the plants to really answer questions. But everyone here seems either very plant smart, or really good at BSing. Either way, I'm satisfied! And finally, their selection is HUGE! If they don't have what you're looking for, they can order it too. A lovely 1 stop shop for all gardening needs!"
"There's a small section on the 2nd floor, including clothing items. Cafe is on the ground floor, jewelry and Pandora section too. I never got into Pandora at all. There's a lot of stuff in here. It's all pretty random, though some items are grouped together too. General Store and oh so much more here. Separate doors for entry and exit."
"Awwww. You guys! It's like my very favorite stop in Minneapolis for unique and awesome Minnesota-themed gifts had a cute little baby store! You guys! What should we get it? Do you want to go in together???OK so seriously. I love to shop at the main I Like You store in Minneapolis (it is my guilty pleasure shopping store that I hit when my husband is out of town, shhh). So of course I was going to stop over at the new location when I was over in St. Paul. The store is smaller but just as cute, just as well-appointed and just as fun. I will admit, I was a little bummed that the selection is so limited compared to the main store. But I still found plenty to look at, laugh at and ooh and ahh over. They have a wall of fun and unique Minnesota T-shirts just like the main store, hysterical greeting cards that feature a lot of curse words and a nice but smaller selection of beer merch, Minnesota stuff, jewelry, pins, coasters, and all kinds of other Minnesota-themed items. It is truly like the main store had a little baby store and it is seriously just cute as a button. Do you think it looks more like the mom or the dad?But my five stars here is largely because of my experience on my first visit to this particular store. I was a day or two from leaving on a work trip to Asia and had the random last-minute idea to bring something Minnesota along for my colleagues there. I was searching for something small but something meaningful, plus something that would travel well. The woman who was staffing the store was so awesome -- making suggestions, helping me look, encouraging me to completely paw through her entire box of pins to see if there were enough of one particular kind, and eventually, when I zeroed in on the right item, going in the back and literally pulling out her entire stock of that item so that I could go through and find all the ones that did not have an individual price tag sticker on it so that I didn't have to spend the time de-stickering 50 items. She even called the other store to check on inventory over there. She was a total rock star. And for the record, my colleagues loved the gifts. They were a huge hit! Hey I Like You! I like you too!"
"It had been many years since I've been here. I was without the rest of family so I stopped in. Signs say clean bathrooms and free ice. There were frozen pipes so no bathrooms and due to covid, no free ice. The store is so super cluttered with narrow rows. Solar Dollar Tree Trinkets are $3.95 here. There are plenty of personalized gifts such as magnets, coasters, shot glasses if you have a common name. I asked about cross rocks that are hard to find at Blanchard Dam. They had some smaller than a dime for $12.99. There were sea shells, star fish, alligator heads. Crap you'd find in Florida. This store seems to have an identity crisis. There were 1970's cedar jewelry boxes. The store is for sale and no buyer yet. I understand why. I did buy my son a personalized MN license plate magnet and class of 2022 Keychain. Oh and if you use a credit card you are charged 4%. This is upsetting as everything was overpriced anyway. Lots of you break and you buy signs. Unless they have a clearance or going out of business sale, chances are I won't be back."
"Stopping at Lotus Lake is a Small Business Saturday tradition in my family! The shop is full of cute gifts that are reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always available to answer questions or provide recommendations."
"Ok. A friend of a friend had a opening night photo exhibit here so I made this page, made a Yelp event, all in the hopes of getting people to the show because the photos were that cool. And now a review of the space, because like the photos, this place is that cool and now, I have a better understanding of what it's all about, sort of. So the place has been open for about 5.5 months. A warm inviting storefront with the inside filled with local artist inspirations. Prices range from the Wow! That will look kick ass in my place (for the most frugal shopper) to Wow! That will look kick ass in my place! (for the person with some deep, pockets). Everything that's sold are one-of-a-kind pieces and are quite amazing. From paper mache' sculptures (definitely worth checking out) , New Zealand reclaimed wood tables, low temp fired ceramics, paintings with prices all over the spectrum and of course, photography and more. The cool thing though is that with the gallery owner, Nance, has space in the back which could be used for other events besides showings. Not big events, but smaller ones and obviously you would need to talk to her about what your trying to do but she came off as pretty cool and open to ideas. Nance has history of doing things in the city around the arts scene and if you've been to Macy's for their holiday display, you've seen her work. This part of West 7th (3-4 block area?) is really starting to pop and one could park in the middle and walk around, eat, drink, and shop their way to the different businesses and this place, is definitely worth a stop."
"While walking down Water Street, I saw a gray cat just chillin' in the middle of the sidewalk. Mr. Cat gazed at me with his huge (hazel?) eyes, then motioned with his head to take a look inside. (Thanks for the tip, Mr. Cat!) And that's how I ended up at Leipold's.I agree with Bailey. If you're claustrophobic, stay away from this establishment. From floor to ceiling, each nook and cranny has random items such as children's books, dated cutlery, vintage Minnesota post cards, international flags, and the like. With that being said, space is tight so be careful as you peruse. Your booty might accidentally knock something over and break it. Then you'll have to pay. That's no fun.The only person I saw working there was an elderly gentleman (owner?) behind the cash register who just gave me a nod - like Mr. Cat - so don't expect anyone to greet and help guide you through. Just pretend that you're on a scavenger hunt, but there isn't anyone to help you. And that's totally okay, since it's such a small place. Other cool tidbits:+If you want to purchase some nostalgic Lake Minnetonka-themed memorabilia, then this is the place.+Did I mention that there's a really cool cat?+It could be more organized. If you're in Excelsior, check it out yourself!"
"It was really kind of by accident that I stopped into Grace & Co but I was glad I did. After a walk around Lake Harriet I was headed to the Bibelot and pulled what I thought was their door but instead grabbed the door to Grace & Co. So it is literally right above the Bibelot and next door to Sebastian Joe's. Karen Lang, the owner, greeted my girlfriend and I and she was very welcoming. You will find a variety of different gift ideas here by local artisans. I picked up a leather key holder but there are baby clothes, handmade jewelry, Muddy Mouth greeting cards, hand-stitched ties, Love Your Melon Beanies (that raise money for kids with cancer) and much more. There is also a great selection of refurbished and hand painted furniture. My girlfriend was interested in a dresser and mirror that was refurbished. I thought it was moderately priced and in really good condition. This place has some unique gift options. If you are in Linden Hills take a peak! You might find a treasure or two."
"Love visiting this shop, delicious tea and wonderful customer service! Sisters work together to make delicious homemade scones and hot and cold tea, lunch sandwiches and a special atmosphere! You should visit."
"My husband and I were in town the week of 6/23/21 and I stopped in this store during our trip. This store seems to have a nice selection of seed beads, but the big disappointment for me was that they are all behind a counter, and understandably customers cannot go behind the counter. However, I like to handle the bead tubes and compare colors and oftentimes I will have several colors at once for comparison. In this shop, since the beads are behind the counter, the customer would need to rely on staff. This would make for an uncomfortable and unpleasant shopping experience for me, as a lot of the joy of shopping is actually being able to handle the merchandise. I ended up leaving the store and not making a purchase."
"Here is a newer must stop on the popular St Croix Trail (95) between Taylor's Falls and Scandia. Located just south of the Franconia Sculpture Park. We have enjoyed the unique flavors of ice cream in cones, cups, pints and etc... With plenty of outdoor seating. They also have many gifts and items such as honey, maple syrup and more. Great place to stop."
"A great place to buy gifts, especially for yourself. They have the largest variety of the Thymes brand for cologne, lotions, etc. The holiday stuff is out and you will be lured for sure. I bought a Halloween kitchen towel. They have retro candy, but the fruit stripe bubblegum, the thrill is gone. Adorable baby clothes at outlandish prices as in any boutique, that you'll buy anyway. They have a whole piggy and pork section. The stand out was bacon flavored popcorn and I immediately think of Samuel, the baconator and pick one up. Most things are so kitschy, and I love them all. All I can think of is the Paul Revere and the Raiders song Good Thing, and it definitely applies."
"New developments keep springing up around town, but it took Facebook for me to find this gem! It's a Texas based chain that has a Redken brand hair salon on one side with a cute, mindful boutique on the other. So I needed a style for my hair since it grows so fast, but haven't settled on a regular stylist in my 15+ years in town. Sad. I think I've at least found my new favorite salon! I called on a Friday and got in for a cut on Saturday. The receptionist was so friendly and informative! She made me a cup of Keurig coffee and explained the basic concept. Then she introduced me to Sammi my hairstylist.Sammi gave me a tour then we chatted about the best style for me. I got a shampoo with the best scalp massage ever! Seriously if you just go for a trim get it done here for the massage and the lovely aroma of products. She worked her magic as I sipped on coffee and read all of the inspirational quotes around the room. She also took before and after photos. Guys, I'm a hair model now!!Since it was February they were doing a kiss a card donation deal plus you got a discount on the bare essentials brand cosmetics. Totally worked for me since I needed contour powder and can't resist a new lip color.Plus since it was my first visit I got a discount on a hair product, Redken of course. Awesome! Sadly I couldn't talk them into any more discounts when I found a cute shirt on the boutique side I needed to have.Though I can't seem to style it as cute as Sammi did I'm really happy with the cut and we have plans to color it in March! More photos soon..."
"Home & Beyond is located on the first floor of Eden Prairie Center not far away from Barnes & Noble. I have spent more money here than I care to admit. They sell all sorts of home decor, glasses, funny napkins, purses and more. What draws my money from my wallet is their ever changing wide variety go Blue Q socks. If you are unfamiliar with what that is I urge you to please go in and find out for yourself. Fine, I will tell you. Blue Q sells a line of socks on bright colors with funny sayings on them. Many of those funny sayings include the "F" word so if you are easily offended you should stay way from that corner of store and I feel bad for you. While I never need any assistance while there I have noticed that the staff either completely ignores you or talks to you way too much. That can be good or bad either way.Anyways, check them out and while you are there spend too much on a pair of socks that have the word bitch (or naughtier) on them!"
"Emerald Isle is one of the best antique stores in Anoka. This store is mostly a huge antique mall. It takes up almost the entire "Old Post Office" building on downtown Anoka - 1st floor, 2nd floor, and basement. You enter up the big exterior steps and through the antique front doors. But the actual store entrance is inside the front lobby of the old US Post Office. The number of vendors and the quality of the merchandise is impressive. There seems to be something for everyone. I'd estimate about 10% of the merchandise can be considered non-antique items like hand made crafts and reproduction stuff.I particularly like one of the vendors on the 2nd floor. He has a lot of very high quality, rare, and fairly expensive stuff from early 1900s and a few things from the late 1800s. This dude has really good taste in antiques! My daughter liked the vendor in back, on the first floor, with a lot of music, beer, and Americana related stuff. Many of his things are reproductions but he also has a few originals here & there. My wife really liked the rock & roll stuff in the basement and some of the funky shoes. The two women that own Emerald Isle are also very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed talking to them.Stop in if you're in the area. You won't regret it."
"A wonderful shop filled with home accents and gifts. I highly reccomend stopping by. You'll definitely find something for yourself here too! It is a gem and a nice break from large impersonal department stores. This place feels cozy and I can wander around for hours here. A must stop by!"
"This little shop is super cute! It's very small but set up nicely. The pricing is decent for a boutique and I even thought a few things were on the lower end. I love that a lot of the stuff is handmade by Minnesota vendors. The reason I had to mark down a star is because the staff person working was very quiet as if she didn't care or was just very shy. I was the only person in the store and she did acknowledge me when entering but then didn't even look at me the rest of the time until I checked out. It's hard to describe but I wasn't impressed nor disappointed. It's a cute place and they have some good finds but I don't feel the need to visit often."
"A great little gift store on grand avenue in St. Paul with a wide variety of clever gift items. I find myself making the trek from the west side at least once a year, usually for the holidays, and always find a few clever stocking stuffers and small gifts for family and friends. The also sell hand made jewelry and women's clothing along with toys, and hundreds of carefully chosen items in a wide variety of prices. You can easily spend 30 minutes or more browsing the collection as it is a bit of a treasure hunt with the large amount of items displayed in little clusters of shelves around the modest sized store.Parking on the street can be tight but if you are a bit patient, you can find a spot."
"Time to update the review now that the store and Johnson Ave NE are fully opened.A bright aqua building with many decorations brightens the street and corner with a patio and landscaping. Now bigger with a wider variety of spiritual and perhaps what we called new age products, i like you ,(they use all lower case), is a cool quirky choice for gifts and cards. The previous store may have had more daring cards, however you can carefully select and still find humorous with mildly profane, or not so mild, to give to understanding friends. Be cautious what you may select for your boss or in laws. There is the scent of incense and more essential oils and clothing to choose from."
