"Stopped by the Pleasant Street Art Walk in Prior Lake and thought I'd give it a try since I heard people posting about them.I ordered the fresh fruit donut. These donuts are huge! This one came with strawberries, blueberries and cream. It was fresh and delicious!"
"Rollin Nolen's has been hanging outside of my place of employment on occasion over the last two years, so I've had a chance to try a good portion of their offerings. It seems as if most of the smoked things on the menu have the same thing in common - a pretty aggressive amount of smoke flavor and being somewhat dry. The ribs, rib tips and pulled pork are fine, but are mostly just smoke and the accompanying sauce. Some of the sides are pretty good (cheese curds) and some aren't worth the calories (the too sweet/cinnamony baked beans and soggy fries).Prices are pretty reasonable so you can get a filling meal for around twelve bucks, just temper your expectations."
"I am so thankful my husband insisted on a slight change in plans to include a stop here! They have a huge menu selection (especially for a food truck) with great, unique options. I get excited for California burritos and carne asada fries- few places here have them and they bring me back to living in SoCal. They have so many variations on California burritos (all have French fries as a Cali burrito must). Their original would arguably be not 100% authentic as it has "cowboy pico" not regular pico, but is authentic otherwise. My husband had the San Jose and it ROCKED! And it comes with cheese sauce??! I had the puffy tacos- also rocked and would get them again in a heartbeat. Love the fried tortilla and the toppings. Their chorizo and their pastor both were great. My only complaints, obviously not enough to detract from a great rating, but there is room for improvement:- The puffy tacos only had one small piece of pickled onion, I wish there was a bit more as it was a great topping and I could barely taste it. - The biggest thing is that I wish they had a calendar on their website so I could plan to get their food. Instead, they only post where they will be the day of on Facebook. If they posted a calendar online, I would absolutely plan around it and therefore be more likely to get their food and with friends/family."
"Excellent food - 5 stars!Tonight I caught up with the Flaming Bowl food truck at Aegir Brewery in Elk River, MN. This truck specializes in savory food options like a brisket sandwich, chili, beer mac & cheese, a turkey breast sandwich, and more (see menu board photo). While waiting for my food, I had a nice conversation with the owner. He's a trained chef and I'm not surprised after eating my food. You can definitely taste the difference - quality ingredients plus a trained chef equals awesome food! You really can't go wrong ordering anything from Flaming Bowl.A big thumbs up!-Maxx"
"For airport food this is a great stop for some Mediterranean options. I tried the spinach pie this time and it was well presented with a pickled cauliflower side. For those who like a more acidic/sour punch you will like this. It was a bit strong for me so I went back and ordered my humus favorite. The pita was thin and warm.I also give praise to the happy guy at the register who was able to keep up with the weary travelers"
"Had to try this place out since I was craving a gyro. Not bad for a food truck. The fries are amazing--well seasoned and cooked! Also, a generous portion for the price paid. I would recommend it if you're craving Mediterranean foods."
"I've had the pleasure of catching Kham Fu Dee's food truck at 56 Brewing and Bauhaus. And by "catching" I mean I was really lurking their sched' and going wherever they were. Check out @khamfudee on Instagram to see where they're at next! They're often at Arbeiter, Insight, and Venn Brewing but of course the locations rotate. Here's what I've had! Green Curry Bowl - A flavorful option for vegetarians if you choose tofu as the protein. It had a nice bit of heat to it too! Drunken Fries - LOVE that they use perfectly crispy seasoned waffle fries as the base, and top them with both pork and chicken, two aiolis, and fresh green onion. Great to share or not at all (I recommend hogging them!). Wings - we tried the gochujang BBQ wings, which had a great balance of sweet and heat. The wings were juicy and crispy still! Hawaiian Melt - this hits all the marks with its savory pork (or chicken), creamy and crunchy coleslaw, sweet fresh grilled pineapple... so good. Last but not least, their cream cheese wontons have a hit of garlic to them which gives them more dimension.Above all else, the family that runs this is so warm and hospitable. I've seen the husband (Kham), wife (Yvett), and daughter all working together with smiles on their faces, which puts one on mine."
"Man. This place has blown up and reservations are needed. I kid you not, they have a ton of indoor and outdoor seating and walk up for about a dozen at the bar but even that is a 1/2 hour to 45 minute wait. Besides this being quite the success story (food truck, small business on Larpenteur, to this location and possibly one happening in Mpls), the food is really kickass! First let's start with drinks. Since La Tapatia took over a former New Bohemia space, they kept ALL the tap lines. I think I remember the bartender saying that there were 30 lines and 25 of those are probably local lines which is pretty cool. They also offer all sorts of other drinks from wine to marg's and more. The food and soup's are amazing. The cebollita's (small fried onions), are crack! Everything is fantastic about this place. And then last year, wifey and I tied the knot and we used La Tapatia to cater it. I had heard horror stories about other couples using food trucks with slow service and La Tapatia crushed it. They premade everything and even had vegetarian options. It wasn't just beans & rice for the non-meat eaters, we were able to offer up Abe's moms' special recipe of pineapple tamales. Wow! We had been in Mexico City earlier that year and had some cranberry tamales and they were so good. The pineapple though blew my mind they were so good. It's not gonna be anything you see on the menu. Seriously, this is really a great success story and if you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and make a reservation."
"The pizza is delicious!! We had the double roni and margarheta pizza. Both were delicious!! We got our food very quick and the staff were very nice. I loved that they have a small arcade area where you can play card games, racing games, and claw machine!! Such a cute little slot to hang out while you wait. Will definitely be coming back."
"Great BBQ - 5 stars!I stumbled across the Smokin' J's food truck in the parking lot of the new liquor store across from Bill's Superette in Ramsey, just north of Anoka. Of course, I had to check them out, especially since they specialize in meats! The first thing I really love about these folks is they didn't mind accommodating my low carbohydrate, carnivore eating style - no problem whatsoever. They didn't force me to purchase plant-based sides, which I really appreciate.I grabbed a Brisket Sandwich without the bun. I also ordered some ribs. But instead of the full dinner with sides, they let me order the ribs a la carte with sauce on the side. All of my food was very good.I recommend trying Smokin' J's if you love BBQ. The owners are very nice too. I had fun chatting with them. I'd go back again any time.Thumbs up!-Maxx"
"this food truck is in the parking lot of coopers in downtown chaska and my bf and i have been wanting to try it for a while and finally did. I'm guessing the women we interacted with was Janie (we were so cold we forgot to ask) but she was delightful and so kind. she even gave us the quesadilla she was making for one of the staff so we didn't have to wait long and made sure we stayed warm. the quesadilla slapped. i'm not really a quesadilla girl but this one was yummy. the tortilla was thin and perfectly crispy and the meat was tender and flavorful. would recommend. we also got both the tacos to try and not gonna lie they weren't the most flavorful still tender tho. whatever the lighter salsa was was spicy which i wasn't expecting since most spicy things in mn ain't spicy to me. they also came with sautéed onions and a little potato... LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THIS POTATO... she was small but MIGHTY. i honestly was sad there was only one the size of a cherry it was SO good!! we also tried the corn in cup and that was alright too i should've put some tajin on it when i got home. i'm pretty picky with an acquired food palate and a sensitive stomach so it's been difficult to find places near chaska that i can really enjoy but at least i know if im ever craving a quesadilla for some reason this the spot to go!"
"Had the Angry Bird sandwich while the truck was parked at The Bakken Museum. It was delicious. A+. I barely stopped eating to breathe. The fries were fantastic as well, perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and quick. Recommend."

Thanks for bringing your food truck to MN Pride!! We were trying to not splurge, but we couldn't say no to a huge donut!! It didn't let us down! We decided to all share a chocolate donut. It was only $9 and easily shareable with 2-4 people (if you all just want a piece) or scarf it down yourself! I don't judge... and I might be jealous. The whip cream was fresh and so was the donut. It was everything we wanted out of it!!! It felt quality with the good ingredients. One thing I would recommend is no styrofoam packaging... other than that... no complaints! Oh yeah... peanut butter chocolate would be great! Keep truckin on!

Enjoyed Rollin Nolen's at the Hopkins Food Truck Festival. We ordered the pulled pork loaded fries (very flavorful, a good amount of pulled pork and sauce) and a sausage that we cut up to share. We ordered at a table outside of the truck and waiting just a few minutes for our name to be called. Quick, tasty, falls off the bone!

The two people working at the 'cart' couldn't be less service oriented. They were out of items and to make a breakfast sandwich at breakfast I was told seven minutes; it's been over that now.The supervisor type person working with the gentleman who served me (I'm making this assumption because he asked her a lot of questions) was not happy to be at her job, didn't make contact.

Saw the had their food truck around or building andThought I'd give it a try.Service was fast and friendly.I ordered the Chicken Shawarma. It's a full pocket pita stuffed with garlic spread and chicken shawarma prepared fresh and mixed with many blended spices, lettuce, onions, pickled cucumbers, and tahini sauce served with fries. All flavors blended were deliciousThe fries were also crispy and delicious. The flavor reminded me of the Arby's curly fries which are also yummy!

This food truck was delicious! We were lucky enough to take part in the the Yelp elite event and help ourselves to some awesome (and I really mean awesome) complimentary dishes. Had I not known of this experience, I probably wouldn't have encountered Kham Fu Dee, but now that I have, I'll be seeking it out the next time around! Perfect portion sizes and super friendly staff. The food was unique and unlike a lot of places I've ate at before. Check it out!

I brought friends from China here so they could experience Mexican food for the first time. I like how you can customize your dish here by protein, toppings, etc., just like ordering from a food truck or taco stand. My favorite tacos are street-style with tomatoes, onion, and cilantro so the meat is the star, so we ordered some like that and some Tejano style (with crema and a sprinkle of cojito.) We ended up with 5 plates of 2 tacos each, an order of chips and guacamole, and added a burrito with everything for my friend's giant teenage son who's always hungry. The servers were all super-nice and helpful, letting us order a few things at a time so we could try different combinations. (We had the good sense to show up about 2 pm so we could order the Happy Hour specials: 2 tacos for $6!) The place is casual but pulled together: good music, comfortable decor. It's cool, not kitschy, and everyone on staff was super nice.

"This place was delicious! My partner and I both got burritos. I got asada, he got al pastor. There's rice, lettuce, cheese and onions with the meat. It was $21.06 for the two and quite big. A line started up just after we ordered so we didn't have to wait long."
"Had the gyro and fries from here at the apple orchard for lunch. The meat was not dry and there was plenty of it with a good sauce and a good ration or toppings in the gyro sandwich. The fries were hot and fresh and seasoned well. They tasted good. Quick service and was good to see that as an option at the orchard along with other offerings available for the MEA week.I will definitely eat here again if they are at other festivals or places that I visit."
"Let's talk about the good, the bad, and the uglyWho am I kidding, it was all goodStarted with avocado fries and chipotle cream Definately our new favorite appetizer An avocado, or two, quartered into wedges, breaded with a crunchy breading, then deepfried. Amazing Also ordered chips and quac. Chips are made on site, quartered white corn tortillas, then deep fried and salted. Great. Only exceeded by the guacamole, fresh and simple. All that avocado, tomatoes cilantro and salt can make it. Boom.Next came the tacos, carnitas and asada. Both were good, but we liked the carnitas more. However, the pork was more like tinga, not carnitas. Real carnitas are hunks of pork shoulder, cooked in fat until soft. Then for tacos it is usually chopped, then fried crisp. These were more like Mexican pulled pork Great, but not exactly carnitas. The asada was fairly typical, which is to say merely okThey were both served on doubled corn tortillas. They are white corn, not yellow corn. And I just dont find white corn tortillas that good. The salsa were very good, but spicy. We got salsa verde with the pork and chipotle with the asada. Both delicious, but spicy, if that is a concern of yours. Not for me, but tastes differ, so if mild is your gig, be sure to askI would go five stars, but the tortillas bring it down. You may think that is petty, but a taco place needs great tortillas to get five stars."
"I can guarantee that every single person has their own favorite taco place. I can also guarantee that debating where to get the best tacos in the Twin Cities is as heated as the 2020 debates. While I can't say that Tacos Tacuba has the best tacos in the Twin Cities, I can say that they do have some pretty damn tasty tacos.Since it is a food truck, the menu is pared down compared to a brick and mortar location, but that doesn't mean that Tacos Tacuba skimps on the pure variety of their dishes. From tacos, to tortas, to gringas, to gorditas with prensado de chicharron, Tacos Tacuba really does feel like authentic Mexican food from the streets of Mexico City transplanted to Burnsville. I tried their gorditas de prensado de chicharron, which was pretty tasty but not really my style. I do love tacos though, and their tacos were amazing! I tried the chorizo, the asada, the al pastor, and the cochinta pibil. They were all flavorful and huge, and generous for the price! The chorizo in particular had a really nice sweet smokiness that I hadn't found in other chorizos. There also aren't too many places that have cochinta pibil, which is a slow roasted shredded pork seasoned with a variety of spices. Tacos Tacuba did it so well, I'm tempted to go back just for the cochinta pibil. They also provide green or red hot sauce, and the hot is HOT. I'm talking sweat down your brow hot. The tacos do come with some raw sliced beets, which I guess if you like beets, it's great? I could do without. The staff are super friendly, and they work to get your order out as soon as possible. You do have to wait, sometimes up to 30 minutes if there's a few orders in front of you, but you can definitely wait in your car if the weather isn't that good. There are a few stools to sit and eat if you prefer too. Tacos Tacuba might be my new favorite taco spot, and it's a welcome addition to the south metro."
"Fare Game Food Truck I got the call from @chef_sawicki to come check out @faregamene and I came running. I was really excited to see that they just added a Smash Burger to their menu. But know that it's only served on Wednesday from 4pm - 8pm and for brunch Friday - Sunday 10am-2pm. The @faregamene food truck sits on the corner of Johnson and 29th in @northeastminneapolis. The food truck occupies the parking lot of the full brick and mortar that's coming soon. We tried a large variety of the menu. Ribs, Fried Chicken Sandwich, a Smash Burger, Mac N cheese and Broccoli Salad. I already want to go back to try the rest of the menu. There's other items that really stuck out to me like the Fried Bologna Sandwich that I know I'll be back soon for. But my favorite of this trip was the Smash Burger! It was so dang good with 2 - 1/4 lb smashed well seasoned patties, Griddled Onions, American cheese, White BBQ Sauce, House Made Mustard Pickles on an awesome Brioche BunFull line up of what we had below :Slow-Cooked Ribs, Smoked with Dry MN Red Oak Logs. Side of Black Pepper BBQ Sauce and Mustard Jalapeño BBQ Sauce Two Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders. Served on a Brioche Bun toasted with Butter. Mustard Slaw, House Made Pickles, and Dukes Mayo on the Bun.Fare Game Burger2 Smashed Patties, American cheese, White BBQ, Griddle Onions, Mustard Pickles, Brioche bunPoblano Mac N CheeseCavatappi Noodles tossed with a sauce made from three kinds of cheese and Roasted Poblano PeppersBroccoli and Sliced Avocado. Dressed in a Lime-Crema Dressing. Garnished with Pickled Onions, Cilantro and Sunflower Seeds.Go check this food truck out! You won't be disappointed! And you gotta love their mission. It just makes you feel good A new food truck honoring the return to the origins of cooking and hospitality. A celebration of the spirit of our humanity in which we gather around a fire, create honest food, and share it with friends. We hope you will like it here."
"This truck is so legit that it better never quit! I've driven by this stand for years, no several years and I could kick myself. They recently moved into Heights from Fridley and knowing they are 10 blocks closer to my house is a treat. I've been twice in the last week and there are no pictures because there was only snarfing. The tacos are just a cut above anywhere else for all the reasons to follow. Firstly, the corn tortillas are soft with a bit of chew and not even the slightest bit dry. The meats are packed with flavor and have little crispy edges from searing on the flat top. There's plenty of cilantro, lime, red onion, cucumber, and salsa verde. The cherry in top is a stewed/roasted pepper on each taco that pumps up the heat. Skip the elote as it may have been canned corn topped with mayo. Besides that, I couldn't tell you anywhere else to get a better taco."
"I have stopped by Smoke Session's food truck a couple of times now - I suspect that's a trend that is going to continue. The food truck can often be found camped out in a vacant lot on White Bear Ave during the week. The daily offerings vary a bit, but so far I can speak to the deliciousness that is their brisket, ribs and Hmong sausage. While not too heavy on the smoke everything has always been really well cooked, tender and tasty. Side dishes aren't anything special, but you can get rice, fries and coleslaw to go with any meal. For BBQ the prices are pretty reasonable, the staff has always been friendly and since they often appear to sell out during the day it appears others seem to agree."
"Everything But Cake is my go-to bakery for special events. Megan enjoys creating delicious, eye-catching specialty desserts."
"I really enjoy their pulled pork, it tastes really good. Even though he has only done it for a few years, it seems that I really appreciate the fresh taste that this place has. Also I really enjoy the homemade potato salad and coleslaw. It seems everything is made fresh, which I really enjoy."
"Agree with reviews about the great food. Hard to believe their picture of the thick beef filled quesadilla, but it was true. The longer wait for food is also true. If you see a few people standing outside as you drive by, keep driving and stop another day."
"As far as "Fast-Food" Mexican places go, the Taqueria Del Buen Pastor blows the competition out of the water. If you drive by and see it, I challenge you stop and give it a try. My friend swears by this place and I always joke that he alone is keeping them open. But as the word travels, the truck is getting more attention. I have really only tried the tacos and what the tacos lack in size they make up for in flavor. I have tried both the lengua (beef tongue) and the tripas (beef intestines) and I really enjoyed them. The taco comes with your normal fixings plus cilantro and radishes! I have also seen how big the large burrito is...better be really hungry if you order that."
"I finally got to try this food truck at the Hopkins Food Truck Festival. The hot honey chicken sandwich was AMAZING! This burger had a great cheese pull and the hot honey was a perfect balance of sweet & spicy. All I was missing was a basket of fries (which wasn't offered). The service was amazing, very fast & effective! The ambiance was fine. If you ever see this food truck, CHECK IT OUT!"
"I'd seen several reviews from several folks and wanted to try out this quaint coffee shop close to home. And, it didn't disappoint at all! From the outside of the shop to the decor and ambiance inside, it felt like "home" drinking coffee here.As soon as I walked in, a small dog was sleeping on its chair and looked right at home. The staff was absolutely friendly and accommodating. I asked for a mocha/coffee that they recommended and it was wonderful. Not too sweet, not too nutty. The perfect combination! And the presentation was beautiful. Thank you!!I would visit here again. It appeared it was likely a regular shop for some of those that visited. It started off quiet at 8am but became a lot busier as the sun came up. It looks like plenty of people feel the same about Coffeesmith. I would definitely recommend!!"
"Went for lunch, note they are really only open 11-2pm for corporate lunch. The arepa was delightful. Chicken was juicy and flavorful, beans were satisfying, warm, and mild. Avocado was generous, and pickled onion was a delightful sour/tangy addition. The arepa bread was warm, soft, and a great portion. The staff i interacted with was super friendly, welcoming, and very helpful! He guided me through my first order with the topping combo he said i would enjoy, and he was very right! The hot sauce could stand to be hotter, but it had good flavor, and hot sauce if a very subjective, personal thing lolVibe: Great space, felt intimate despite being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the corporate skyway. Hopefully the tenants of the condos and other downtown neighbors visit and eat so they can expand their hours. It would be so nice to have a choice that is more than pancakes and ham and cheese croissants (not knocking them, just like more options)."
"Stop #40 on our 2024 Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour A step over into Wisconsin brought us to the fabulous stop. The parking lot is more of a culdesac than a parking lot & is adjacent to a large bike path. The warehouse style that seems to be offensive to some reviewers is, in my opinion, exactly what sets it apart & lifts it up. It's larger, open, relaxed & welcoming. It isn't trying to be anything more than a great space with solid brews at fabulous prices. We were immediately greeted on approaching the bar & given a quick run down. The barkeep also expressed interest in the other places in the passport we had visited & what we liked. Honestly, it felt like a place where you should sip slowly & hang out a while... meet a new friend, maybe one with 4 legs. It simply felt very welcoming and non-pretentious. Out for a bike ride, hike, day drive, lake day, etc and need a drink? Stop in!I was intrigued by the event sign & we may try to make it back to see what voodoo they have in store.ETA: there's also a taco spot inside that we didn't try"
"Asian Invasion is still fairly new to the streets, but they're slinging some pretty tasty pan-Asian eats. Their menu changes somewhat frequently, but you can typically expect to find things like a Vietnamese pork sandwich (note, not a banh mi), katsu curry, egg rolls, sesame chicken, among other things. The pork sandwich was generously sized and contains a lot of Vietnamese-style roasted pork topped with slaw and served on a ciabatta roll - a bit spendy for a sandwich, but tasty and filling. I have also tried a rotating special of lemongrass chicken which was good and had a nice little bit of kick (in the Minnesotan sense - nothing overpowering).Service has been very friendly and you won't be waiting long for your order. I'll definitely always be happy to see them on the streets of St. Paul, though it would be nice to see them add some non-meat centric dishes to the menu as well."
"Fun place to stop off. We stopped off 3 times because we did not see any hours posted but they opened at 11 and the line was formed. There were 3 of us today and we ordered a Maui hot dog that had bacon and pineapple and jalapeños, a Chicago style hot dog and and a new item not on the menu board. A elf dog with grilled onions, jalapeño and a sauce. The elk dog was awesome, almost better than the Chicago. Our person who ate the Maui dog felt it could of been hotter, but he lost his taste buds from a surgery ...lol...so his comments don't count. Previous trips included lobster roll (only on Fridays) and gyros. The hand pressed lemonade is good too."
"Being from Jersey, we get pizza. Pizza in all shapes and sizes from coal, wood, and conventional ovens. Top notch ingredients, made with love, and about as close to the real "Italian" homeland pizza as you can possibly get. After arriving in Minneapolis, I never imagined to try a pie that got as close. Vito Lucco does it and passes the pizza test with flying colors.Upon arriving at Fulton Brewery, I found myself starving, so I simply walked outside to the Vito Lucco truck to grab a Margherita and a Don Vito. The pies were ready in 10 minutes and I was notified by text message when they were ready for pickup. Convenient is an understatement. A bring-your-own-food brewery where I can enjoy a draft while I wait for wood fired pizza? YES.It's 10 inches of heaven.... And please don't take that quote out of context."
"Really good bbqRibs were tender, great flavor. Hot links.... Delicious. Cubano was also great. Friend got the pork belly and loved it. Service was pretty quick. Would definitely come back. We came on a rainy day which was a good idea bc it was busy, can't imagine what it's like on a nice day"
"Fantastic tacos, the El Pastor was phenomenal, especially when enjoyed after a long bike ride while admiring a red hot sunset on a rare warm evening in March! 10/10 - I must return to try all the tacos! Love the friendly staff, best moment of 2024 yet"
"One of my top ways to determine if a restaurant is going to be good is the quality of their coffee or tea. The Good Egg started strong with a very good cup of coffee and with this strong start I wasn't surprised when the sandwiches were also great. The eggs were done perfect and the bread, nicely toasted and buttery, had the right amount of chewiness. I'd highly recommend as a great place to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The ambiance of taking a seat along the beautiful St. Croix review to drink your coffee and eat your breakfast is also definitely a plus."
"I came into Brito's tacos when the restaurant I had intended to go was closed. I was greeted right away when I entered. I ordered the burrito bowl with chicken. There are 8 menu items to choose from. The burrito bowl was very good. However, chips would have made it much better! I don't think chips are on the menu yet.I look forward to returning and trying the other menu options!"
"If I could give six stars I would! Stopped for a beer at Venn and ordered a pulled pork sandwich to share. Would have been happier with 2, they were so good! The owners / operators were lovely as well. Next stop - the Finer Meats butcher shop! My guess is that I will not be disappointed."
