"I took a cooking class here. I really like this grocery store. They have some really good deals. On Wednesday they have 50% off all their produce either organic or non. They rent out their community room for people doing cooking classes and fitness classes. I really love how much they give back to the community. I'll have to shop more here. Have not bought groceries here yet, but I have taken several classes at this location."
"This place is underrated. They're a small operation with a huge, changing menu. We LOVE their sandwiches. Everything from the Edna & Stacey to the Marsha Jean. They have ice cream too! Both traditional and rare, delicious flavors like banana pudding! They also offer a fun board where you can buy an ice cream for a pal's future visit and let them be surprised when they see their good treat posted on the board. They offer online ordering and delivery. They pair very well with the brewery across the street. Give them a try and don't be put off by how many menu options they have b/c everything is delicious!"

"I only give five stars to places I wouldn't mind eating at every day and they did it! I went due to recommendation from a friend for good skyway-located restaurants. I went during the week over the lunch hour and they were hustling and bustling. I probably saw 40 people come in and out of the place with their sandwiches in hand while I ate there for about 30 minutes. There was mostly a long line out the door which moved impressively quickly. With a menu a million miles long, I couldn't decide what to order so I went with 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich (which I was impressed you could do with any salad and any sandwich). I got 1/2 of the Thai Crunch salad and 1/2 of the Turkey Melt sandwich on sourdough bread. The salad was huge, I would've expected the full basket of salad to be considered a full size. I was a little put off by the large amount of edamame in the salad but the crunchy pieces were a welcome addition. I never know what to order so I always ask what the best of my options are which also tells me how well the staff knows the menu and how good they are at recommendations. He recommended the Turkey Melt sandwich which I thoroughly enjoyed. I don't typically like deli meat due to thickness of slices but it was so tender and they didn't pack the sandwich too full of meat- it was perfect and I ate every last crumb.I'd love to come back so I could try more of the sandwiches here. I might also throw in some housemade chips and a cookie which looked amazing."
"We are the people who can't find their butts with both hands AND the GPS, so we spent a little time wandering downtown Austin looking for the Spam Museum. On a side street we shouldn't have been on, we passed a cool, vintage little white building with a red striped awning, which immediately warmed my heart. After we left the museum, we were going to grab a bite and were just looking for a generic fast food when we passed the little building again. I know a sign from the universe when I see one, so I commanded the Anaconda to pull over. You had to park in the back and it looked to small to have inside seating (guess there is some), so I just decided to wait in the car and gave him simple instructions to get me a cheeseburger and a strawberry shake (because hamburger stands that are painted white always have milkshakes). Of course, he never gets an order right, so when he returned to the car, I opened my food warily, wondering what he did wrong this time.Sure enough, as I peeled back the wrapper, I said, "What's this?? This isn't even a chee- " And I stopped. OMG! No, it wasn't a cheeseburger. It was a loose meat sandwich! The legendary cuisine of the Roseanne show that I thought they just made up! It actually exists! I was delighted that we had stumbled across it at a place clearly marked "Tendermaid Hamburgers". And it was mighty tasty, as was the thick, creamy shake. Not what we expected, but it turned out to be one of the food highlights of our road trip. And I didn't even have to yell at the Anaconda."
"My first time here...LOVE the bakery & deli. The fried chicken dinner is fabulous! The coleslaw is flavorful and the fried chicken outstanding. Their bakery items are very good as well. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back."
"All I can say about this place is quality, quality, quality - anything you buy. Not much fish, but as feather and fur goes, they've got it all - fresh, great quality, and good prices. Lots of wonderful side dishes, drinks, and other offerings as well. Pretty much a one-stop shop for food for a social event. Friendly, knowledgeable help. They clearly don't hire from college IT departments, because these folks actually make eye contact and smile, and come around from behind the display counter to hand you your purchases, instead of throwing them over the top. Obviously, somebody here knows something about gracious service. You need to be warned - their dill-ranch pretzels have been classified as highly addictive. I have been assured, upon asking, that the necessary licenses and 12-step recovery programs are in place."
"Hands down my favorite place to buy a pie for the holidays!! This place is an absolute gem, and is filled with lovely staff and good vibes all around I love their breakfast menu, and the pastries are over the moon delicious! Make this your next breakfast date!"
"I happened to be out and about running some errands and needed some magnesium. I search to see what co-op I could find between where I was and were I was heading next. This is were I ended up.If I could have vote to have a standard of what a co-op SHOULD be, THIS PLACE IS IT!!! They had SO many cool things I have never seen at my local co-op, nor many of the other ones I frequent. They had the bulk sections, the beautiful product, dinning seating area, awesome supplement and personal care, lots of cool baby things...All that and the cozy co-op feel that I love."
"First time coming here, this store reminds me so much of the Mustard Seed Market I visited years ago in Akron, Ohio. Great, clean store with plenty of great store amenities such as hot soup, some hot food. Great selection of meats. It's a smaller store compared to larger stores, great array of healthy choices and various hard to find items I've never seen before. Check out lines aren't too long. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking in the back."
"Back for lunch again!I tried the chicken kebab this time and it came with rice, a Greek salad, and some pita bread. I found the chicken kebabs to be well flavored, but it was a bit overcooked/dry. I could taste an earthy taste (cumin?) and paprika?. Pretty flavorful! And salted just right. If it was tender and juicy too.... It would be WHOA.!The Greek salad was awesome again. The feta was just phenomenal with the dressing they use too.... I'm almost developing a craving for it. There was also an accompanying white spead/sauce in a plastic ramekin. It was amazing.!!!!!! Sour, savory, TANGy (horse-radish / wasabi-ish). It went well with the pita bread, which was also good. Pretty standard, but well-cooked and fluffy. My only real complaint was that the lettuce itself was not cut through and through. The leaf was still in one piece (connected through the stem) but still easy enough to break apart to take bites.Friendly, nice, and good service again, too!"
"When I first saw Jensen's Market I thought is was just meats. I was wrong. I went there today for the first time based on a recommendation about there cinnamon rolls. The person who greeted us made a recommendation to heat them for 10 seconds in the microwave. Spot on recommendation, they are some of the best cinnamon rolls I've had in years. I also picked up a couple cake donuts, the that brought me back to my childhood. I highly recommend Jensen's Market."
"Location is very convenient. Don't have to go to bigger grocery stores. Prices are reasonable. Hopefully they will carry organic items soon. I see they always make sure that their produce is fresh and that they don't have expired items. Cashiers are never moody. Love that they offer help to your car. I didn't think much of this place when I moved here in Feb 2016, but I've seen positive change and this little grocery store has grown on me."

I'm very glad that this store is in my neighborhood, and that they are seeking to improve the lives of People of Color. I'd originally found the place right before it opened when I got lost in my new neighborhood. I could not remember the name of it, so I searched Yelp until I found it again. When I entered the produce section, I happened to notice that there was a yoga class happening nearby. I smiled and felt a little jealous of the participants because my flexibility to do even a basic pose is wanting. The store is small and easy to navigate. North Market is refreshingly clean and without advertisements from national companies. The selection is a mix of small companies providing organic, sustainable foods, and the giant agri-businesses one would expect in a grocery store. The relaxed atmosphere was great to experience, especially as I didn't really want to be in a store at all. Since there wasn't really any food in the house, I figured that I'd better get something. I bought some sambusa (crazy-delicious, gluttony-inducing morsels they are), some chicken pupusa, cans of tuna (wild, line caught), some Bai, and some organic, cage-free eggs. The total spent was just under $45. Yes, I know that this sounds like much, and maybe it was. Other than the Bai, everything was organic and small-batch foods. And, I'm the woman who's paid $15 for an organic, seeded watermelon (I don't eat those gross seedless things). I felt good about my purchases. The young lady at the register was friendly and noticed that I'm left handed. She said that she wished that she were left handed. I told her that my son is the aberration because he's right handed. His dad and sister are left handed, like me. We laughed and said good night.I will be back. I'm very glad that this place exists.

I have ordered Brothers' sandwiches and salads for multiple catering orders in several different companies. I have never had any complaints (other than "wow, that's a lot of food" - not sure that's a complaint, though). The sandwiches are fresh and the salads come with a very tasty popover! You really can't go wrong - there's something for everyone at Brothers Deli!

Their malt shakes are delicious! I got the bacon cheeseburger and banana malt shake. Their pricing is based on cash pricing so if you are paying with card, expect to pay 4% more. Their burger is chopped burger, so they serve it with a spoon. They have been around for 85 years!

The baked goods. Hands down, best in the area. Yummy cinnamon bread, wonderful dinner rolls that will instantly remind you of what a dinner roll should taste like -- perfect texture and fresh, yeasty flavor. Put some thin sliced, deluxe boiled ham and mayonnaise in that bun and you will be rewarded with pure pleasure. They also have a complete deli case and, of course, traditional groceries. You certainly are not going to find the wide range of product you might expect from, say, Hy-Vee but what you will get is a friendly shopping experience with helpful staff who bag your items and treat you like a real person.

My husband is a beef jerkey connoisseur, and he LOVES the jerkey here. We come by routinely to pick up some jerkey and also dabble in other items like the beef sticks or the brats. We find the quality to be excellent at Von Hansons and the staff to be both friendly and knowledgeable. it's a great place to go if you have a specific question or a special request. In many ways it reminds me of the old-school butcher shop, though I know they have many locations!A few complaints about this specific locale -- there's never any parking in that crazy tiny parking lot. We wish they were open for longer hours, especially on the weekends. And we wish they would run more coupons -- occasionally we get some in the Star Tribune or other local coupon book type pamphlets that come to the house. But we do appreciate teh quality, expertise and service. Lovely!

I've been to Turtle Bread Co a few times over the past few months and I really want to like it but unfortunately the food has been a little hit or miss for me. The first time I was there I got a plain croissant and mocha. Both were pretty disappointing. The croissant was really dry and didn't have a flaky texture and they forgot to put the espresso shots in my mocha so it ended up being just a hot chocolate. The second time I had the chocolate cake which was very good and I HIGHLY recommend. The third time I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, a side salad, and Mexican brownie. The breakfast sandwich was okay -the bun was really good but the rest was a little lackluster. The brownie was very dry, but the frosting was good. Overall the service and atmosphere is good. I'll go back again because I really want to try a loaf of their bread and a few more baked goods.

They always have everything I need! If Trader Joe's doesn't have it, I know my only hope is Linden Hills Co-Op. My only complaint is that the bulk section is a little light. I love to bring my own bags to replenish some of my ingredients, so I do wish they would expand on the bulk section. The produce is excellent! I can always rely on them to provide the freshest, local produce available. I recently picked up heirloom tomatoes and a couple different types of mushrooms I couldn't find anywhere else. I made the most delicious avocado toast with both the tomatoes and mushrooms. So good! They make vegetarian and vegan sandwiches that will blow your mind! The po' boy is perfect!

"Jubilee is a very convenient grocery store in Mound. The staff is usually nice and helpful. Only disappointment is their prices are way higher than average grocery store. The last time I bought a steak from there it was inedible as it was full of tendons and very chewy. They do not supply as many options as a traditional grocery store such as Cub Foods. Overall I go to Jubilee for very basic needs and out of convenience."
"This is a nice little place located right downtown. Their biggest draw is probably the variety of coffees, lattes, etc, but they also have nice breakfast and lunch options on the menu. Sandwiches, salads, wraps, breakfast burritos, omelets, oatmeal, and a very impressive selection of waffles. Just go to the counter to glance at the menu, order, and pay. Grab a small table and they will bring it out to you.I ordered the Cereal Killer waffle. There were Fruity Pebbles in the waffle! It was topped with more Fruity Pebbles, cream cheese, and whipped cream. It was delicious. I didn't bother with the syrup that was served with it. I also ordered a panini melt to take home. Turkey, bacon, ham, and herb cream cheese on your choice of bread. It was very good.I'm not a coffee person, but apparently everyone else in there was, so they must know what they're doing. The service was very friendly. The prices were reasonable. If you can get there before they close at 5:00 you'll be glad you did."
"From the previous reviews it looked like it was going to be hit or miss on what quality I got. Let me tell you it was a hit like a home run hit! Perfection is the only way I can describe it because it being takeout I had no hopes that it would make it to me hot, fresh or the tacos crunchy but let me tell you that the tacos tasted like they were made right in front of me and the burrito was loaded with steak and flavor! The sides were delicious as well. Refried beans and rice were prepared I'd say more authentic which I enjoy. Cheese dip and guacamole were good paired with their chips which were very good in my opinion. Can't wait to try this place in person hopefully I have the same success!"
"SUPER SANDWICHI love searching for hidden gems and Mariano's deli delivered. When I arrived at the icy parking lot I met a sweet old lady who asked me to help her through the snow. She told me how she was buying her son a gift card for Mariano's Deli. All I could think about was that her son is a lucky guy. As we walked in the store, I told her I was going to order my food and then I would walk her back to her car, after she bought the gift card. Finally, all of my years as a Boy Scout were finally paying off. Mariano's Deli opened in 1985 but the recipes were born in Italy in 1896 with Ralph Marino. He is the one who taught Mary Marino about cooking. Mary Marino known as "Nana" established her reputation cooking from the 40's through the 70's in various Minneapolis area restaurants. The best part...her recipes live on here at the restaurant every single day. The Meatballs are amazing and I'd highly recommend them. They even put sliced meatballs on their Italian sub sandwich. That's a first for me and it was really delicious. This sub sandwich was actually created by a customer who loved their daily Meatball sandwiches but wanted to eat something new on the menu. All I can think is that this customer was a culinary genius. They literally mixed two sandwiches and created something new. I learned that I could order the sub "Old School". Which means they will actually smash the whole Meatball on the sandwich. That is how they first made it for the customer who created it. I didn't learn this great tip from the owner Ralph, until I was leaving. I'm totally ordering it that way the next time I dine here. The bread is baked fresh daily using a family recipe. The sandwich is the best here and I'd totally get it again. I had the lasagna too but I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered it with a side of meatballs and that was the highlight. The lasagna is very simple with noodles, sauce and cheese. It lacked any complexity or depth. I guess I was hoping for more from the lasagna. You definitely do not want to miss this five table grocery store gem. You might even catch Ralph doing his paper work on two of the tables. No really. When I walked in it looked like he was doing his taxes. Ha! I simply love family businesses because they have all of the charm in the world. I can't wait to come back for that fantastic sub sandwich again. Every deli should add fresh meatballs to their Italian sub sandwiches."
"Fresh and high quality ingredients, service was chill but friendly. The food was really good but it was a bit pricey for sandwiches."
"Very friendly, easy parking, and great food. The food is really delicious so I always end up ordering 2 things from the menu and it never breaks the bank. Would recommend the tacos with protein or the burrito bowls!"
"My mom was pure bred Lebanese, and used to rave about this restaurant. I cook a few authentic Lebanese dishes and finally wanted to compare my dishes versus theirs. The couple dishes I have never made myself were Rolled Grape Leaves and Meat Pies, and I've been craving both for years. My son got a Lamb Kabob, which he thought was delicious. My wife tried their Rice and Beans. She quite liked it, but said my family recipe was much better. I ordered the Platter with various things stuffed with meat. Overall I loved it. The meat pie was my favorite, being so much more delicious than I remember meat pies tasting. The Grape Leaves were also delicious, and I will definitely visit again just for those. It was my first time having the Rolled Cabbage, but it was almost as delicious as the Grape leaves. The weird meat balls were fine, but I'd much rather eat any of the other three items. The Stuffed Zucchini, my second favorite dish I make, were delicious, but I still preferred mine. I will happily come here again the next time I'm craving wrapped meat. The seating area is a bit tight, but comfortable. The restaurant was full on a Sunday at 4:30pm. A testament to how good the food is. Our waiter was kind, helpful and prompt."
"I pretty much just come for the tomato soup! Not much else that catches my eye. The one unique item I like is the cabbage rolls, but I don't like the soup they come in, but delicious if you ask for them to be served without the soup and just with the mashed potatoes."
"We live close to this restaurant and we love ordering in from here! We've tried many of the menu items and they rarely disappoint. The only thing I've had that I haven't loved is their chicken tinga.Special call outs: Al Pastor Torta and Birria Tacos."
"Or pizza was delicious! There was some kind of seasoning on the crust that reminds me of pizza hut bread sticks (which are also delicious!)"
"Grand Opening week, line out the door at 12pm but that is to be expected! Hard working team members building amazingly fresh sandwiches, engaging employees that clearly love what they do. They get customer service and that is a lost art! Been a long time super fan of Jersey Mikes for years, there is a reason why they are growing leaps and bounds! Great looking store with a fresh look, impressed they also have a drive-thru! Keep killing it Jersey Mikes, see you again soon!"
"met. Loved this place. Went to the deli for two days when we were staying in Downtown Hayward. Friendly staff nice fresh ingredients - even paninis. Great place for sandwiches."
"Stopped in at end of their day, picked up a Pyre and a Bruni for the Mrs and I. Also grabbed the pickled pasta salad and blue cheese potato salad. The staff was very attentive and yet gave time to determine what to order, got as take out and headed home to munch.Sandwiches/Panini's were great, nice crisp/tender combo, healthy portion of meat and fillings. Not overpowering on the seasoning or sauce/spread.Salads were very good as well, the fresh seasoning/herbs certainly explain the "herb" in Herban Deli. The potato salad was a nice compliment to the other Pickled pasta salad, Two entrees and a large salad small salad came out to $46, added a 20% tip so it wasn't clear, but the quantity was enough for 2 meals, we could have split 1 sandwich/entree and had the salads and been set for another meal. Probably order 1 and split next time. Great food, fresh and complimentary flavors will ensure a return visit!Well worth the stop, and great parking in the area, plenty of seating inside if you want to dine and then walk the shops in downtown Anoka"
"Been here 4 times and finally decided to review. Their food is authentic Thai!! I've tried a handful of things by now, and today I just tried my new favorite. Their Tom yum with red snapper was so good. And their shrimp larb salad is refreshing. The Tom Zaab is also a good option (with pork ribs). Definitely try it! The staff are super nice (except the older man). Love that it's always busy! Proves it's good!!! Plenty of seating as well to accommodate groups."
"Off the beaten path in Midway sits one of those Deli inside a grocery store. It is close enough to work that I stop by every once in a while nowadays to pick up one of the most underrated Philly Steak Sandwiches - Kaiser bun, very thinly shaved steak, minced garlic, thinly sliced bell peppers & onions and that damn goddamn delicious cheese. Ooh Wee. The menu posted above the kitchen says they make other sandwiches as well and they seemed to have wings, chicken strips and Catfish Tilapia at bargain price. This deli has had a different menu about 3-4 times in the last year alone. Come to find out, the Deli was leased to others who were cooks but the grocery owner has now decided to keep it in the family and has his wife cooking up the delicious Philly. How do I know this? When I checked in thru Yelp, I supposedly was going to get 1 Free small Fry and it also said "All Yelp customers dining with us will receive 15%". I found out this was "maybe, put on Yelp by the previous cooks", that's what the guy behind the register said. Yelp also seems to think that '$15 for $20 deal' It still is advertising is probably good. Tip: Call to make sure they're open. The deli hours are supposedly 10-8pm. They were not open at 1:00 pm in the afternoon sometimes."
"This grocery store was very convenient when I used to live in Hopkins, but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here. The service has gotten worse as time progresses. They make up for this with the fact that the store is practically immaculate. They also offer great ready-to-serve side dishes and meals in the deli section. The bakery goods aren't too bad either, but you will be paying a bit more than at other grocery stores.A couple years ago they used to serve Carmel Apple Salad for Halloween. It was amazing, but I think they stopped making it."
"This place was a pleasant surprise. I came in and there was a few seats open but filled up very shortly after ordering my pho. I ordered the egg rolls and pho and they were both very good! I would suggest coming if you're looking for something to treat yourself."
"You pick up the ribs with a side of the hot bbq sauce to keep it interesting. You don't expect much from the fries but that's ok because you have that sauce side for dipping. You go home (it's mainly carry out) and make a mess with a friend. Look back on it and say, 'I'd do that again.'"
"Hear me out. Don't ever go to a big chain sandwich shop again. My wife got the Italian with onions and lettuce. It was better than any deli sandwich I've tasted. Pure quality. I got the prosciutto and fig, which is one of my favorite combinations. Now, I've worked in Italian restaurants. I've made deli sandwiches for years, and eaten them carefully. I'm a little picky. This sandwich was incredible. You simply must try it.But the best part of the meal was the end. The cannoli. Every year, I make cannolis for Christmas. I make different flavors and I play with the construction of the shell, and I don't always have an appreciation for classics. Capone's cannolis are classic, beautiful, and delicious. It's easy to mess up the shells, but this was perfect.Eat at Capone's. Support this business. There's not a better sandwich shop West of the river."
"Awesome daily homemade soups. The staff are always happy and energetic. Stop in and check out the Bo Diddley's and the other great businesses at this little mall in Eden Prairie / Bloomington."
"Small but mighty place. Love the sandwiches! As a gluten free person, I was thrilled that all sandwiches can be made into a bowl. Just a few tables inside and a few picnic tables outside. Worth the stop. All the staff are super nice and want you to be happy with your order."
"Pastrami on rye bread . Excellent sandwich as is the potato salad . Good service & enjoy shopping for rye bread & other delicacies !"
"amazing customer service!!! Great variety !!! I forgot shredded cheese and onion and I'm in the neighborhood for a family gathering.. Not only did they have both items, but they willingly chopped my onion for me!"
