"Great little cafe with ice cream. The place is cute & the staff are very friendly and patient. The BEST part, they have Superman Ice Cream!! They are only 1 of 3 places in the Twins Cities area that carry this ice cream flavor that is indescribably delicious! An ice cream that I fell in love with when I use to live in Michigan."
"Lots of variety, I really like their pizzas but if you're a drinker they have a wide selection."

"A nice coffee shop on our way to cross lake. Think of this place as your cabin style neighborhood coffee shop. Ordered espresso (hot and cold) and a sweet and a savory items for breakfast. It is satisfying. Love the ambiance and decor as well."
"When today and the owner was super nice! I am so excited that they have espresso over ice cream as it is very uncommon! Will have to get it the next time I go! Even got suckers for my two daughters. Will be back!"
"Very excited to have tried Wuollet's awesome bakery items! This rainbow cake is a classic vanilla flavor and is finished off with all-natural buttercream. The texture was moist & buttery, without being too sweet. @wuolletbakery also has some killer coffee, donuts, pastries, and other delicious cake options at their multiple Minneapolis locations. Secure a rainbow cake for yourself this month to help cerebrate PRIDE!"
"Great little place in downtown Northfield. Sandwiches, soups, and drinks have all been consistently good. Service was timely and friendly. A number of comfy tables that stretch to the back of the place make for a comfy experience for our group of 4."
"Free and fully available street parking in front? Yes please. Rarely have I ever been to a coffee shop where the staff actually adjusted the music style, etc. based on the customers in the shop. Initially, there were folks conversing and then it drilled down to the book readers and studiers. Music was adjusted accordingly, 5 stars alone for that. Staff was amazing and attentive. I felt spoiled rotten with the ube latte ($6 alone $7 with espresso in it) and I wanted a 2nd cup, but had to exhibit self control on the calories and the cash. Didn't think I'd ever call cracks in the wall and cacti charming but they were. Will be back very soon."
"We had hours to kill before our annual Sherlock Holmes dinner at the Mpls. Golf Club. Basil spotted this for a coffee shop cause I hate the others. I was greeted by Matt the manager and he steered me toward the other side at the coffee cafe. I like how they don't treat it as an after thought to the gaming. My hot chocolate was served in a large mug and Basil got a mocha latte. Both were delicious. I was impressed by the young trainee, Aster, who wanted to get it right, and he did. Starting with asking what kind of milk I wanted. Whole milk no problem. The inside itself is very dark, yet neat and meticulous. I think they offer dungeons and dragons on Wed. for free but you have to sign up for it. My son's would love it here, still gaming in their 30's. There was a mix of ages here now that I think of it. I'm not the coffee house type but I'd come back here for the great service and drinks."
"This place is awesome and the employees couldn't be nicer! They are diabetic and keto friendly. They also have diary free options! We drove 30 minutes out of our way to get here and would happily do it again! They also have a vide variety of sugar free chocolate bars."
"What a great spot! Coffee is delicious as well as reasonable, ambiance is cozy and the staff are incredibly friendly. Being lactose intolerant I appreciate that they don't charge extra for oatmilk. Best of all, they are committed to helping the homeless. Check them out! :)"
"So much fun for coffee in the morning and a great atmosphere! Tasty beers including specialty beers all year round. We love this place - there is room to play some games, enjoy a beverage and chat with friends!! Highly recommend!! Super friendly staff to greet you with a smile!"
"I love this place the coffee is awesome. The environment is enlightening and it's just an upbeat positive place to be if you're feeling down."

Two out of three coffee drinks were really good and I won't hold the third one against them. My daughter ordered a "Fruit Loop Latte" it was blue, like I said not holing that against them. Breakfast burrito's and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were also good. We enjoyed this much better than the food at Mystic Lake for a fraction of the price. Also gabbed a few pieces of banana bread to bring back to the room. Definitely worth the visit.

Forager Brewery (Cafe) up in Rochester, MN not only does beer and food, but they do breakfast too! I love their lattes and the specials when they have them and this eggs Benedict is by far the best one I've had and I've sampled many of them. This would be my top rec for breakfast or brunch here!

Just went through the drive thru for some coffee and it was so yummy! Been anxious to try it out and so happy for a new local coffee shop that isn't a chain!

A reliable place to grab a coffee in Uptown / LynLake area! I love that they're open until 6 on weekdays, which makes it a great place to work remote. There's plenty of seating space with a variety of comfy chairs, tables, and bar stools. They've got a varied selection of food items - egg sandwiches made to order and lots of pastries at the counter, and a refrigerated section with cake, juices, and wraps/salads. I grabbed a golden oat latte, which was delicious and turmeric-y (NOT ick-y)! Service was friendly and efficient. I noticed that everyone else dining in got to-go cups too - I don't mind, and maybe it's because it was the afternoon, but would love to see reusable mugs used. They have reliable WiFi and it makes for a great place to work! Cheers :)

Cafe in the Land of Cows, Colleges, and Contentment. A place to relax and maybe even have a deep intellectual conversation. The staff is friendly and consists of college workers or others from around town. There is a full coffee and tea bar, as well as wine, and select pastries which are not made in house but are a compliment to the available drinks. The atmosphere is both casual and intellectual. There are a few board gams and books laying around. Bright bay window seating awaits you as you walk in or there is dark ambiance inside. I've had their Bran Muffin and it was okay. For non coffee drinkers like me, the selection is fairly limited.Just a fun place befitting of Northfield. Great meeting spot on Division (main) Street!

I'm a simple person, so it should never be a surprise when I opt out of a "foo foo" coffee drink and go for a latte. I also consider myself a coffee connoisseur of sorts, so I like that without added sweetness and flavoring, a latte allows me to appreciate the quality of the coffee. The latte I had at Wesley Andrews was lovely. I felt at complete peace when sipping on the high quality coffee drink while catching up with a friend. The space is modern, without feeling too sterile-- a balance that can be hard to find in a lot of these establishments. The service was warm and friendly as well, which only added to how much I enjoyed my time in the coffee shop.

Lesson in how to be a casual friendly game store right here. This place isn't overly intimidating like a lot of game shops can be and there's a ton of big tables that are always open!

"This is a must stop timeless destination! Great food, shopping, and service! I love the summer grill nights. They host tons of local events such as golf tournaments, and the kids absolutely love stopping in..."
"Great food and great portions. The waitress Amanda was the best.. she was very energetic and friendly and provided great service. The place is decorated so cute. They provide a great variety of food options. Every dish I ordered was freshly made and very good. I highly recommend giving this place a try. They have late hours which is nice do a late dinner. Great for friends hanging out or just going for a drink. They also have a full bar. I enjoyed my experience and will be returning."
"It's a Caribou and they have a drive thru, what else do you need!! Honestly, this location is run as efficiently as others in the area and the quality is also equal. The drive thru lines here can get a little long but the layout is alright for that, you are rarely blocking other traffic. Caribou is my preferred coffee spot so I am a little biased. =)"
"This place is underrated. They're a small operation with a huge, changing menu. We LOVE their sandwiches. Everything from the Edna & Stacey to the Marsha Jean. They have ice cream too! Both traditional and rare, delicious flavors like banana pudding! They also offer a fun board where you can buy an ice cream for a pal's future visit and let them be surprised when they see their good treat posted on the board. They offer online ordering and delivery. They pair very well with the brewery across the street. Give them a try and don't be put off by how many menu options they have b/c everything is delicious!"
"Okay... Their Vanilla White Moca was really sweet... but it was okay.. their staff was good..."
"Without question, the best restaurant experience I had in downtown Stillwater, and my mouth is still watering from the experience!I just absolutely love this place, let's just start with the ambience, which is fantastic! A nice bar, right in the middle very lively, TV screens, get this they have their own distillery in the back?! I mean, I have not seen that before! You will just be so happy you stopped in here to eat. Trust me!Time to talk about the food, the best meal I've had in months! And certainly in Stillwater!! Everything here was probably about as good as things could taste let's just talk about some of the appetizers like the brussels sprouts and the carrots! Make sure you order both of those you won't regret it! My grilled chicken sandwich was the best grilled chicken sandwich I can remember having. So here's another thing, without a doubt, the best dessert I think I even can remember at a restaurant! They have several brownies here and they put ice cream on it. The chocolate, peanut butter, brownie dessert I had was as close to heaven as you can get! This is the spot to go for dinner in downtown Stillwater in my opinion! Highly recommended for a meal you won't forget!"
"I came in for a quick meeting and absolutely loved the pastries! The people working were very sweet and patient as I struggled to figure out what I wanted. Also, had music starting that I did not know about, and it sounded really great!"
"I've driven by this place a million times and never stopped. However, my husband and I had a need for "a sweet" on the way home yesterday. We picked up a dozen mixed donuts, and DAMN, have I missed out. Each one was better than the last. I was especially partial to the blueberry donuts. We smashed that entire dozen in 24 hours. Def be back! Thank you!!"
"This Friday morning, I was struggling to get out of bed, so I decided to stop for some coffee on my way to pick up my usual bread delivery. As I drove through Kimball, Minnesota, I stumbled upon Rise and Grind Coffee. The place looked bustling, so I figured I'd treat myself to a little pick-me-up. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the charming decor. It was a small yet inviting space, perfect for anyone looking to relax with a cup of coffee. I ordered a pumpkin pie latte, and it was expertly crafted, with just the right blend of spices, espresso shots, and flavor. I opted for oat milk, which can sometimes be hit or miss, but they nailed it this time. The atmosphere was filled with friendly smiles and lively conversations, making it a delightful experience. I'll definitely make it a point to stop by every Friday on my way through!"
"This place is awesome! It's got a retro vibe with all the pinball machines, many lounge areas to chill with friends, great backyard outdoor seating and it's definitely got the ambience and atmosphere to feel cozy, hip, and creative. The coffee was excellent! I loved the shaken not stirred cold brew latte and even bought a growler of their cold brew. I came back the same week and got an americano and my goodness it slaps again. Check this place out!! It's so unique and harbors community so well in it."
"I plan to visit The Battleground Cafe in the future. It was my first time visiting for their Magic the Gathering - prerelease of Duskmourn event. I started playing MTG this month and decided to go to this event alone... well, I was suppose to meet my husband's best friend, but he had a family emergency. It was intimidating at first when majority of the customers were guys. My only experience with MTG was playing against my husband. (My husband was unable to go to this event.) The staff members were friendly, professional, and patient. When I first arrived, I was looking at the Duskmourn bundles, commander deck, etc that were sitting behind the counter. The place was busy as staff members were checking in customers for the event, but I was approached and offered assistance quick. I also appreciate one of the staff members who took the time to help me assembled my deck and gave me advice - I had no idea what I was doing. The staff members seemed very knowledgeable of the new expansion(?), as well as how to play the game. I interacted with some of the guys attending the event who seemed nice and friendly. My opponent was also friendly and patient - he even offered friendly advice and gave me a chances to reconsider my moves. The staff members checked in after the first round. The staff members were very understanding and accommodating when I needed to leave the event early. They even said "bye" as I was leaving. Overall, it was a good experience. I wish I was a better MTG player, but time will get there. I also find it cool that they serve food there. There was lots of space to sit. They offer a variety of card sleeves, deck boxes, dices, and a ton of single MTG cards. It is also where the Lady Planeswalker Society (women who plays MTG) meets. I would definitely come back and try to make more MTG friends."
"My favorite coffee place. Super sweet employees. Always very fast at making whatever drink I order that day. They have food but I've never tried it, although it looks pretty tasty. They have all sorts of cute little stuff for sale in the shop itself, such as magnets, buttons, books, and clothing. Cozy place with WONDERFUL chai tea. I seriously can't get chai anywhere else now because theirs is so good. I don't know what I'd do without them. They have a punch card too so you can get free drinks once you fill one out! I highly recommend Kodiak Coffee to all coffee and tea drinkers."
"Was visiting the area from Michigan and I always look for a locally owned (non-chain) coffee house. I found a winner. Stopped in twice while I was in the area. Staff was always pleasant, food was tasty, and the coffee was great! Stop in, grab a cup of Joe, and say hi to the nice folks who work here!"
"We stopped in before a hike at Minneopa State Park and I'm so glad we did! I love everything about this place! Vegan and gluten free options, cute space and large patio, excellent teas, and very friendly staff. If I lived closer, I'd visit frequently!"
"My husband and I came for breakfast and coffee to go and ended up loving our food and drink and also checking out the book store adjacent. My Carmel oak milk latte was super creamy and not too sweet, just perfect! The breakfast burrito with crispy bacon was cooked perfectly and very filling. I loved the rich flavor of the scrambled eggs and hefty portion of shredded cheese! My husband's sausage breakfast sandwich was equally well prepared, just smaller in portion than the the burrito. Very nice staff and great coffee and food. We'll be back for sure!"
"I have been to this wonderful bakery shop twice, and both the times I have had good experience. I liked the variety of pastries and sweet treats they sell, their beverage selection, their pricing, and the good service. In my two visits here, I have gotten cupcakes, donuts, a cinnamon roll, almond puff, and a tea cake. All the items were delicious and to my liking. They were worth the purchase. I talky like them and would go back for more. I definitely recommend checking out this fine bakery shop."
"I stopped into not just café with my boyfriend and I was blown away. It is a small joint so not great for large parties, but the ambiance was charming by every definition of the word. I got a fish sandwich and fries that were absolutely delicious. Service was quick and accurate. The prices also cannot be beat! Overall a great experience that is worth straying away from the chaos of Stillwater to get some incredible food in a relaxed friendly environment."
"Raspberry Chocolate Chip was out of this world!Best hand-packed ice cream in Minneapolis!Lexi from Lowry's recommended it !"
"This is a nice place to come with friends and get a tea because they have little games set up at every table, it is so fun! I got an iced Vietnamese coffee with tapioca boba, it was sweet but still tasted like coffee. I paid around $7 for it. Service was good and there is parking outside the building."
"Awesome atmosphere. Cozy, dark, romantic! Sometimes the service is lovely and sometimes it's a bit sassy! Still great either way! Fish and chips is delicious! Nice wine and beer choices. I heard the cheesecake is yummy!"
"I love the aesthetics of Hope. It's welcoming and such a vibe. The restaurant was also big, compared to the other locations. Bathrooms were also very clean. The food was amazing. They have a huge menu and their drink menu is even more amazing. We tried everything from the breakfast to their coffees to their cocktail menu and it was delicious. We did not feel rushed during peak hours. Service was great!"
"Great location, good coffee and pastries. I think the coffee is better than their competitor across the street. It's a nice, calm space to bring your work. I love the services held on Sundays, they make an effort to be part of the community."
"My vanilla latte was wonderful. Loved their robust brew. My niece lives nearby and this is a local favorite. Check hours/days as days open are limited currently. Highly recommended."
