I popped in today at noon, and before I knew it, I'd indulged in their signature truffle, the Sweetie, which was filled with sweet Frangelico indulgence. It felt and tasted sinful. Silky lusciousness.Shouldn't I have had a more balanced meal, like a soup and salad? Wouldn't I feel better about myself if I'd consumed some vitamins instead? "I love a good cookie, and these exceeded all expectations!! I bought a two pack of giant chocolate chip cookies. I paid $7 and will get at least 4 desserts out of them. The cookies are muffin like, very thick and full of chocolate chips. I love that they attend the NE Farmers Market occasionally and that is where I got mine. Not to mention, it comes in adorable packaging, great for a gift. They had lots of other yummy treats I look forward to trying!"

"I've lived in the area for almost 9 years and just discovered this place! Oh the years lost! Such a great little candy store tucked into a strip mall. You can either order treats online for pickup or come into the store to browse. I suggest you come in-person because they offer samples on most of their products so you can try before you buy. And they are very generous with the samples, you might just get a sugar rush from all the lil bites. Lots of stuff to pick from and the chocolates are of great quality. My family likes the Muskrat Munch, Buckeyes, and Bourbon Buckshot Caramels. "Visited Stam again just before Easter. With the pandemic on the decrease (hopefully) it was time to venture out for a gelato fix and some chocolates for home. Luckily, Stam has survived the brunt of the pandemic. These remain amazing artisan chocolates! My son had a couple macaroons and said that were light and delicious- a marvelous macaroon! We each had a small gelato and sat at a table to enjoy the treat. I had 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 caramel- delicious! My son had a fruit flavor and enjoyed it immensely. "So is 10:30am too early for ice cream on a Tuesday morning? No it is not...We were out hiking early with our nieces on a very hot morning so we needed some cooling off. As locals they suggested this place.The AC was refreshing and the selection of ice cream was quite large. They also have gelato. I tried the salted nut roll flavor and it was very good but perhaps a bit flat. The girls liked their flavors - Cotton Candy and ?.It was fun and tempting browsing all of the chocolates and other candies but we refrained from buying any. Very difficult."

"When my boyfriend and I walked in the lady in the front was having a lively conversation about girl's hockey with what I assumed was a regular local customer. She did welcome us to the store though and I actually liked that she didn't hover over us while we sampled virtually everything since it was our first time. We ended up going for a coffee infused one. She was very friendly when ringing us up giving us a loyalty punch card and suggested we pick up an ice scraper on the way out since it was starting to snow out. The wrapping and tissue paper were cute complete with a gifting tag with their signature moose. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the quality of chocolate. They looked handmade and tasted a tad lower grade than say Belgium but for a local chain it was pretty charming and satisfactory. Will have to visit the other locations to compare."

"This place caught my eye as I was heading to the cathedral for a tour, and when I walked through the door the smell and the vibes were just perfect - love the cacao pods sitting around. Their tan-colored "white" chocolate is phenomenal and unique, a must-try. Besides the bars, I also got a bag of honey bon-bons...and when the cathedral tour guide couldn't stop coughing (dry throat), I offered her one. "My wife surprised me this Valentine's Day with an assortment of yummy truffles made locally here in Lakeville. Masterpiece Chocolates is a fairly new store that focuses on making high quality chocolates with either local or sustainable sourced ingredients. The assorted truffles we sampled were all of very good quality. I especially liked their Raspberry Truffle, it had a bright and fresh berry pop with each bite. Turns out the raspberries are locally sourced from their own backyard garden. They have a standard menu as well as a few rotating feature flavors to choose from. They are still a pretty small operation so hours are somewhat limited but well worth the trip to try out the chocolates! A lot of love goes into their products and you can taste it!"

Max's is a cute little jewelry/gift store in the Excelsior Grand area. As I live near there, I find myself popping in occasionally. I've purchased chocolates for friends and my mom bought a lovely glass ornament one year. It doesn't have "something for everyone" as say, a Bibelot or Corazon, but there are lots of lovely pieces that are sure to brighten everyone's day."
