"5 stars all the way from California! Nightingale food and cocktails will always be one of my favorite places in Minnesota! I will forever be dreaming about the mushroom toast appetizer, OMFG so amazing!!! If you're looking for a fun, intimate, delicious restaurant then Nightingale is the place for you. Please review my food pics on the items you have to try. My absolute favorites is the mushroom toast and the green curry mussels! Holy shhhhhh, these dishes are bursting with flavor. Something about that green curry sauce, I feel like I can drink an entire bowl of that alone. On the night we visited, they had a live DJ playing vibey, throwback 90's R&B, I was all about it having a good ol' time! Can't say anything bad about this spot, all good good good things. Can't wait for my next visit back to the Midwest for that good good!"

"Juicy Lucy's and beer?? What could be better?? Went here after work and had great service and even better food. I had the guys big bite and it sure was big, enough food for my lunch and dinner... lolWe got some flaming hot cheese curds and they were really good, not too hot and a lot of flavor. Would definitely come here again, plenty of drinks on the menu and a very fun atmosphere."
"Stopped in after looking for a quick bite to eat and decided to try a new place. We were a little surprised that Bonchon is fully a sit down restaurant, but our experience was great. Very clean store, staff were very nice, and service was actually phenomenal. We had their bibimbap bowl and fried tenders, both were really good. The fried chicken with the soy garlic sauce in particular was a highlight."
"Can we take a moment to say.. holy NACHOS! Some of the best nachos I've had, and plenty to go around. Restaurant seemed a little short staffed, but the service we did receive was great. Great place to watch Saturday night college football with tv's lining the restaurant! Super fun / lively atmosphere, don't come here expecting a low-key, quiet night!"
"Glad we stopped by on our way home from the cabin. Cool atmosphere and menu and over 40 beers on tap. Wings were definitely solid, but I wish they were a bit more crispy. Buffalo sauce was about as classic as it gets but no complaints.Burger had great flavor and I liked that they had a byob option.Looking forward to stopping by next year!"
"First time visiting and I had a nice experience. A few things to note:-ample parking-ample indoor seating-sandwiches and burgers don't come with a side -in-store menu features a few different burgers, but there are no descriptions, so be sure to ask or check online. I got the Carolina burger, which came with barbecue sauce and grilled onions, but was otherwise similar to the (slightly cheaper) Slims Burger. The flavor was good, with a smashed patty and soft bun. Also, I got the Buffalo chicken fries, which could easily be a side for 2-3 people. It was tasty, but next time, I'd request a little less blue cheese sauce (or just on the side). That all said, I'd check it out again."
"THIS PLACE!!! I like chicken wings and was looking forward to trying these, but they were way beyond my expectations. The wings are made to order, so they came out nice and crispy with the most tender chicken. The Gangnam style sauce was flavorful and had a perfect kick to it. The Gangnam style wings take longer to make than some of the other menu options, so that's something to keep in mind. The Uptown location is close to bde maka ska and there's plenty of metered street parking in the area. There's a St. Paul location as well.I totally recommend bb.q and will definitely be back for more wings!"
"Probably the best pad see ew I've ever had. It wasn't a gigantic portion but the perfect amount that I avoided a food coma."
"I unfortunately didn't take a picture of my food as I did take out and then went straight to eating but WOWW! We've had people tell us about their fried chicken and finally gave it a try. I'm super bummed I didn't come to this place as soon as it opened in Roseville because I've been missing out . Parking was very easy as they have it right in front and to place a take out order it was pretty quick. I did half and half of sauces for chicken wings which were super flavorful and had a side of kimchi which was perfect to accompany the meal and a side of fried rice plain. Service was great and food was perfect. Next time I'll be dinning in for sure !"
"We had the Hot Honey Pear Pizza and the Hawaiian Pizza, both had unique flavors and we really enjoyed the crust. We agreed that we would definitely return for the unique pear pizza. We will definitely return to try the garlic pizza as well. Service was quick, but it was not very busy. Only real downside was that the music was not working so we got to listen to the muffled sounds of karate next door."
"If you are looking for a 5 star establishment from an ambiance perspective. This is not your spot. But if you are looking for some good food at reasonable prices with generous portions, this is your spot.I randomly-ish stopped here and am glad that I did. The person taking my order was attentive and patient with answering my questions. I went with a gyro meal. The meat was nicely seasoned and the serving size was more than enough. The fries that came with were really good also."

Nightingale is a go to between my friends. When I moved to Minneapolis, I was told to come here for their espresso martinis, which are decent, but I've had better at a few other spots. I do really like their french fries and try to order some every time I come in. I was not the biggest fan of the scallops when I ordered them the first time, but their shrimp toast was delicious. Last time I was in, my girlfriend and I ordered both the west and east coast oysters (west coast was a winner) and I will be getting those again! The staff is always lovely and attentive when I visit.

When it comes to dim sum there is not a better place imo. The service is fast and polite and the prices are not too much. The decor is your typical Asian restaurant and nothing fancy. This is always my first choice for dim sum as the food is amazing. The shrimp crab claws are always a favorite and they do it right. The sesame balls are also an amazing treat. Throw in some pork buns and shrimp dumplings and you're well on your way to an amazing time. Get there early if you can as it gets busy fast ;).

So, nothing has changed since my review in 2015. We still love the Honey Bacon Cheese Curds. The Bacon Bourbon Burger is still the Number 1 choice for me. The service is still great. They have TV screens all over, so you will find sports fans there. You will ignore them once the food comes out. I've had the Patty Melt here, and it's wonderful, as you might expect.I vacillate between regular fries and waffle fries, depending upon my mood. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Enjoyed the garlic soy and Korean barbecue wings. Also had the corn dog which instead of a hot dog is cheese centered. Different and delicious. Plenty of parking over lunch. Some of the best wings I have had Will be back. Great prompt service. Big parking lot and was busy but not overwhelmed at lunchtime

The waitress was super friendly and very nice. The tables were cleaned off and looked nicely put together, I enjoy the atmosphere. The food was soooo good!! The price wasn't bad either. They have the best bowls! We always like to bring people here to try it because their bowls are amazing! We love how we can get some good spice on it and it hits the spot when you need a full belly! The kids love the shakes too and their kids meals are perfect! Our kids love the grill cheese!

Our favorite Korean fried chicken in the twin cities! 5 stars mainly because it is made fresh to order. Also they have so many flavor options and they have the best soy garlic wings. It's better in comparison to the competitors soy garlic if you know who I'm talking about. Also my husband loves their hottest flavor *wings of fire*This is our go to when we want KFC "Korean Fried Chicken" !

"Oh my gosh! The service and food were excellent! The restaurant was neat and clean, perfect place to meet up with friends. The menu had so many delicious looking items that it was hard to decide what to order. We had to try the wings, which were perfectly cooked. Crispy and excellently seasoned. My friend ordered the BulDak, which was nice and spicy, he thoroughly enjoyed it. The serving was huge. There were enough leftovers for two more meals. I ordered the Japchae, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I definitely will go back and try more of their delicious food."
"The Buffalo wings melted right in my mouth. It was served with a side of celery and ranch sauce. The fries where enough to feed two or maybe three. While I was sitting in outdoor seating, I heard Earth Wind and Fire on their in-house speaker. It was fairly quiet and not overbearing. I waited a reasonable amount of time from when the order was placed from when the order was served. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled."
"This is the that greesy, heavy, hole-in-the-wall pizza joint you order to feed the family while chilling on a rainy or snowy day. This pizza is not any of that fancy stuff found at many of the pizzerias around the Twin Cities. This is good old fashioned pizza that will slap ya with the itis after your final bite. And try them garlic knots, they are insanely good. Make sure to chew stick of gum though before conversing with your partner.Stop in and grab a slice, or order take out or delivery. Beware the delivery though. The pizza will arrive fresh, but the delivery time is crazy long."
"We went here on a lark for a quick lunchtime snack. The place was spotless, the staff was friendly and prompt. the food came out quickly. We ordered the pork steam buns, pickled radishes, and the Karaage. They were all super fresh and tasty. I will totally be back to try other offerings. They also had someone coming around offering the Mochi donuts from Te'Amo. Those things were amazing. this place is right next door. I ended buying a dozen, because I couldn't help myself. those are my new favorite sweets right now.If you are in the area, it is completely worth it to stop by and eat here."
"We dined there for lunch. A little weirdly situated - you have to go up stairs (or elevator) and it looks like an apartment building. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. The place was totally empty which worried us a little since it was a Tuesday at noon. We all tried the sandwiches and the soups and they were top notch. The cranberry bread is something else. The turkey club had the best cranberry aioli and the fries were really good too. Will go back again soon!"
"What I consider to be some of the best take out Chinese in the twin cities. We love their beef lo mein and orange chicken"
"A Bloomington Bar/Grill that is average. They offer breakfast on Sundays which isn't something I'd make a special trip for but could address a hangover. They have bingo on Tuesday night at @6p to support local youth sports teams. $10 for 10 games and 3 opportunities to buy extra boards for the bigger pot rounds. The chicken stripes here are some of the BEST I've had at a bar/grill. Ordering during happy hour (4p-6p M to F) and get half off!"
"As another reviewer mentioned, "who needs Five Guys when you have 3 Guys" is an accurate summation. We ordered the chicken bowl with white sauce, chicken wings (6) and a single patty cheeseburger. The chicken bowl is a very generous portion of grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes over rice. The white sauce is delicious although I would appreciate a touch of garlic. Regardless the sauce once mixed thoroughly into the bowl makes the dish and I can't wait to eat those leftovers. The burger hit the spot for my husband and he may have even been disappointed he only got a single patty. The chicken wings were also good, not dry but for me it does need something to dip in (which is good that the order came with x2 sauces.)Everything came out pretty quickly and was nice and hot. The staff was nice and friendly."
"As a part of #YelpsBigNightIn to support local businesses during COVID-19, I ordered from J&J after a wing craving hit. I ordered six wings and fries. The seasoning is very similar to Hook Fish and Chicken. A lemon pepper, a sweet and spicy combo that adds a delicious touch to both the chicken and fries. The wings were hot and crisp, and they're full size from wing to tip. The meat was fall off the bone tender. All in all, some of the best wings I've had in a long time. Can't wait to be able to visit in person. I ordered through Door Dash and the whole process was slick and really took no time at all between ordering and receiving my meal."
"The free cheese puffs are great and drinks are generous; however we did get food poisoning there once. But have successfully eaten there a few times. Great impossible burger. Pizza is quite greasy and not that great. So really mixed review."
"Every time I come here, the food is phenomenal. All you need to do is order appetizers so you can have multiple things to eat from the food is so delicious."
"The food was all very delicious. So much that I went back the following week before the leave Bar Brava (1/13/24). A few points on the food:1]Fried Wings- You can have it with or without chili crunch. Or like I did... put it on half. First time I got it, it came with a tasty sweet sauce that went well on the rice.2)Fried Chicken Sandwich- that herb aioli is so tasty. I bet it would be good on the rice too. 3)Cream Cheese Wontons- good, but the highlight for me was the dipping sauce. It had a light fruity flavor. I had a lovely experience. Once Khue's Kitchen leaves, my understanding is 1) they'll be new venture for them and 2) Bar Brava will have another pop up."
"When I came to Graze before a Twins game one day, I wandered around to check out all the options for grabbing lunch and finally decided on trying Two Mixed Up. While I had really wanted to try the birria tacos (they were sold out), I ended up deciding on the mushroom swiss burger (a double smash burger topped with mushroom, onion, swiss cheese, and house sauce). The burger was sizeable and smothered in cheese... I actually ended up needing to eat the burger by cutting bites with a fork, otherwise it would just have been a bit *too* much of a mess. Personally, I also could have used some more onions on the burger itself... but I had some delicious, crunchy onion rings as a side and that helped appease that craving. Prompt and friendly service here. Obviously, the ambience is encompassed in the larger food hall-concept (which I found to be enjoyable). Burger was a bit greasy and unwieldy, but still tasty."
"It's a small Cambodian restaurant connected with the gas station. I think it used to be a fast food restaurant back in the days. It's hidden away from the main roads. If you live out in Big Lake, Monticello, Elk River, Otsego, Albertville, and St. Michael there's not much southeast Asian restaurant around besides going down to Delano or Brooklyn Park. I got Chicken Lo Mein, Beef sticks with friend rice, and pho. The pho both is more on the low sodium side. If you ever been to Cheng Heng in St. Paul it's pretty similar to that just not a lot of sodium. They do provide chili oil per request. It's homemade so it has a little stronger kick to it. Beef sticks and fried rice was good. The beef sticks was really flavorful. It came with a small side of pickled papaya and carrots. Which has a good balance to the meal. (Maybe next time I'll ask for more of the pickle papaya and carrots.) The chicken lo mein was very flavorful. It's not your traditional Chinese lo mein. It's has that garlic flavor that you usually find in southeast Asian food. Which was something I really like. My advice is if you like spicy. Ask for chili oil on the side and mix it in with the lo mein. You'll thank me later. If you don't like spicy it's amazing without it too. Pro: flavorful southeast Asian food, close to home. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. Cons: I believe Rice Noodle for pho was the dry noodle kind. Which I'm not a fan of. (But that's just me as a preference and will still eat it's served.) Will I go back? Yes, I would go back."
"Schullers has become a family favorite/ tradition. It has a hole in the wall feel but the food here is delightful. Its the only place my child will eat chesse curds. And service is always friendly Love it here!"
"Guess what? This place is a "tavern" and it checks all my TAVERN boxes! You walk in and the staff says "sit where you like"Staff then says "what are you drinking?"Staff then says "what are you eating?"Best real corn beef Ruben I have had in a long time.Wow-glad you aren't in my neighborhood or I would be a local!"
"Food was delicious. The two people working appeared to be the owners. They were super nice. It seems like most people grab for takeout. The location inside is a little small for dining in but clean. Would definitely go back. If you're in the neighborhood stop by. Very flavorful fusion."
"What a great pizzeria the pizza was so good service was excellent the restaurant is clean I'll definitely be coming back"
"Ordered chicken Lo Mein. Lots of chicken!! Noodles were thin, brown, chewy, very tasty!!! Sauce is perfectly sweet and savory. I will order this again!!!"
"Our server was very friendly and sweet. It was like auto body shop themed restaurant. Food was pretty good. Nice big portions. My Pink Cadillac drink was delicious."
"This place is a hidden gem. The owners are so sweet and want to make sure you enjoy your food. We went for breakfast but we are definitely coming back for dinner! This place is a must."
"My arteries started clogging while I waited in line. Don't let appearances, or location fool you. If you can stomach ultra greasy chicken and fried fish...this is your kind of place! Warning: the "Let Me See You Move Something" man from Blue Cross will pay you a visit shortly after devouring one of their meals. I've tried the Fried Chicken, the Perch, and the Fries. All were very tasty, and I had a very long nap after my meal. The price was reasonable too, and for about 25 bucks, 4 people were fed, and filled successfully. If you aren't one to buy into how the "North" is so "dangerous"....take a stroll off the beaten path to Hook Fish and Chicken...make sure to bring wet naps, Tums, and an empty belly to fill."
"Forada, Minnesota...population 199 and home to an obscure pizza & beer joint called the Muddy Boot Bar & Grill. While the Boot did sport a 4.5 rating on Yelp, mostly on the strength of their drinks, I figured I would take a chance on their pizza to go. It is always a shock when an outsider bellies up to the bar in a town of 200 where everyone knows everyone. As I walked through the front door, every head at the bar turned as I grabbed a vacant stool at the bar to pick up my pizza. It wasn't until after they heard me tell the bartender that I'd ordered a pie to go, that the tension in the air had been broken. I grabbed a cold bottle of Grain Belt as I waited for my pizza to come out of the oven. I was now one of the guys. Our pizza was a 16" pie with 'roni, 'shrooms, onions, green peps and pineapple for a hint of sweetness. The toppings were fresh and flavorful while the crust was cooked just right. The Boot earns 4 solid stars on my tough pizza ratings scale."
