"Great little cafe with ice cream. The place is cute & the staff are very friendly and patient. The BEST part, they have Superman Ice Cream!! They are only 1 of 3 places in the Twins Cities area that carry this ice cream flavor that is indescribably delicious! An ice cream that I fell in love with when I use to live in Michigan."
"Lots of variety, I really like their pizzas but if you're a drinker they have a wide selection."

"I stopped by here on a roadtrip down the great river road, and the patty melt is one of my favorite burgers I've ever eaten- it was awesome."
"We were in town for a Christian music festival in Isle MN and stopped here on the way home (10 hours away) because of the reviews. Service started a little slow to take the order, but they did just get slammed before we came in today. Once we ordered, it didn't take too long to get our food. The food tasted wonderful! We ordered a bunch of food (and 2 soft drinks) and only paid $40."
"First time here and a great place for breakfast or lunch. Excellent food and service!"
"I have driven by this place a million times and had NO IDEA they had a little coffee/lunch counter inside until a recent Yelp search alerted me to the fact?! My husband and I had a very nice lunch here, I loved my grilled cheese and soup, plus picked up some day old peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (YUM) and some nice lattes to fortify ourselves before a Target shopping run. There is a LOT to see here aside from food and this is a great gift shopping spot. I will absolutely come back here when I am in the area next time!"
"If you haven't made the choice to go and eat at Sparky's, you're missing out!! The food and atmosphere was the perfect small diner experience that I was hoping for! As you enter the building it's set in downtown Anoka, inside of a strip mall where you can get your eye exam done. The diner is a seat yourself place which gives the feeling of being a regular, as soon as we sat we were greeted and offered water. The server asked for our drink orders and let us peruse the menu while getting us our drinks. After they came back with our drinks, they asked if we were ready to order. My son ordered a GIANT chocolate chip pancake with a side of bacon. My husband ordered the Denver skillet with over easy eggs on top with white toasted bread.I ordered the supreme omelet with the rye toasted bread and hash browns with fried onions on top. (If you don't know, that's where you get the extra flavoring for your hash browns) We were stuffed and very content!! Also have to point out that the server came back and forth several times checking and refilling our coffee mugs, we were never dry...that's some freaking good service!!I would say run don't walk, get yourself to Sparky's for some fantastic breakfast! They've been around for 30 years and going strong with their obvious repeat business of locals. Plus while you're downtown, you can walk around and see the rest of the town and all of the amazing things that they have to offer. Such as boutiques and beautiful sights."
"Lots is seating space. Great food - salads, sandwiches, sweets, and of course coffee. A comfortable community hangout! Take a look at the art while you are there."
"I don't know what draws me to happy hours. Maybe it's the deal of it -- a bit of a discount to make my dollar go further. More likely it's the idea of it. A happy hour with friends! It's right in the title! I am also drawn to the luxury of it. Happy hours happen early, and so to be a part of one, you have to have a day that allows you to meet and drink with friends in the late afternoon. Yep, luxury to me. Recently I visited again one of my standby favorites, the Bluestem Bar which is off to the side of the French Meadow Cafe. Kind of like a private club, it's interior is warm, inviting, moody and fun. It's an interior design success to have expansive high ceilings and still capture a warm mood and cozy feel. The bar runs the length of the room, the booths are generous, and the space somehow handles sound well enough to be able to catch up with your best friends.Yesterday afternoon, we had drinks (Elderflower spritzer for me--sounds pretty and was very tasty!), and then stayed for dinner. The green curry with rice and salmon was fantastic. Generous, delicious and beautiful. And seriously, the space is so very welcoming and warm. The color is immersive. The Happy hour drink specials (Wednesday: half price bottles of wine; Thursday: half price "BLUE" cocktails; Friday: half price sparkling; Saturday, half price tap beer) are varied. There are also specials on martinis, wine and food!Fries with aioli, "earth wings," plant tacos, and warm baguettes are all on special for starters. My only criticism is that it's easier to find the happy hour specials on their website than in the menu -- an easy fix, I think!I always seem to find parking in the restaurant's lot, to the south of the building. Easy. I will be found hanging out at the Bluestem again."
"Just moved to the neighborhood and this is going to be our new go-to spot for brunch. High-quality farm-to-table fare and cozy whether you're sitting indoors or on the patio. The menu had so many selections that I can't wait to go back and try something new!"
"Excellent place for breakfast. Probably one of the best omelets I've ever had. Many quality ingredients from which to choose. I will definitely be a repeat customer."
"The food is amazing. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The seating area is cute."

Two out of three coffee drinks were really good and I won't hold the third one against them. My daughter ordered a "Fruit Loop Latte" it was blue, like I said not holing that against them. Breakfast burrito's and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were also good. We enjoyed this much better than the food at Mystic Lake for a fraction of the price. Also gabbed a few pieces of banana bread to bring back to the room. Definitely worth the visit.

Forager Brewery (Cafe) up in Rochester, MN not only does beer and food, but they do breakfast too! I love their lattes and the specials when they have them and this eggs Benedict is by far the best one I've had and I've sampled many of them. This would be my top rec for breakfast or brunch here!

We enjoyed the everything hash browns, eggs and toast, all of them were absolutely delicious. It was like $7 in total for my meal, which is so cheap! Our server was quick to greet us and bring us our food as well.I think we've found the place where you can have quality food that's both fast and cheap! Only downside is that it's cash or check only, but they're very much upfront about that (there's a sign on their door that you can't miss) and definitely wasn't a problem.I would definitely go back if I'm in town again.

This was an unexpectedly cute find with specialty food items and local goodies. I bought a B.E.A.R. (blackberry, elderberry, apple, red raspberry) jam and a package of wild rice to bring home. There's also a neat cafe with soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a variety of coffee and tea offerings. I was excited to try the namesake wild rice soup. It was pretty bland but was pepped up with the addition of the very salty croutons. The turkey apple brie panini was on the sweeter side with a nice melding of flavors.Worth popping in for a casual lunch or perusing when in the area. Grab a slice of fudge on your way out!

This space I was definitely caught off guard by its appearance- it could definitely use a face lift but that doesn't stop the regulars. This place was packed and we had to wait in a Sunday morning to get a table. The service was good, the food was classic breakfast and the pancakes were HUGE! I love a good hole in the wall (literally) breakfast place!

This was a cute little shop in northeast Minneapolis. They have the regular array of espresso drinks, plus six or seven signature drinks such as the Mangler, with cold press, espresso and cream and the killer chai with chocolate and almond. The Coffee Shop NE also had some seasonal drinks when I visited, in celebration of the State Fair such as the Mini Doughnut Latte and the Sweet Martha. Plus, they had flavored milks such as root beer, blueberry and strawberry. It's a good stop for caffeination if you're already visiting Sarah Jane's Bakery across the street!

"Indoor fireplace, outdoor seating, large table for group, and lots of cozy seating. Owner and staff seem happy to be there and interact. Variety of baked goods to tempt a variety of appetites. Right now showing works by 2 artists."
"The New Uptown Cafe is a great place to when you're craving a classic breakfast! Their hashbrowns are perfectly buttery and crispy and they have fun pancake flavors to try (I recommend the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes). The service is always helpful and efficient. Definitely give them a try if you need a good, hearty breakfast!"
"Stopped by for lunch. Both meals were tasty. Chicken tenders with fries and Grilled Chicken Melt with fries. Great service, friendly staff."
"This may be my favorite summer food spot, and thats pretty much exclusively because of the vibes and outdoor space. Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are beautifully crafted and use high quality ingredients, and the service is great, but what really elevates it for me is the outdoor seating combined with the walk up window. After a long bike ride, not having to lock my bike up, and just recovering with a nice cold beer and a deliciously light sandwich on a sunny patio just feels RIGHT."
"Good coffee, good food. My only reason for not 5 stars is the drive thru and parking are some of the worst I have ever seen. Hopefully you don't drive a truck (but this is Minnesota so I mean... you probably do.)"
"Service was friendly and quick! Food was good tasting and good portions. Ordered Biscuits and Gravy and the gravy was just the right consistency! Clean and small community feel!"
"This place is a gem! Small and very homey! We went for breakfast...I had the french toast, Yum! My husband had a omelette. He said it was great!Coffee tasted great! The server was so sweet, and friendly! You won't be disappointment dining here! We will be back! :)"
"Great service! Wonderful food. Best prices around! Thanks for having a home town cafe!!"
"Drive thru!!!! Great spot with with tasty food and the coffee is always hot. They have a nice seating area that is good for meetings and working remotely. This is the spot the locals go to and it is locally owned and operated."
"My husband wanted to eat here. Breakfast ended at 11 am. I asked if the hamburgers were fresh or frozen. The answer was frozen. My husband got a hot pork sandwich on gravy with mashed potatoes. My son got a burger. I ordered Butterfly Shrimp. Half an hour later, popcorn shrimp arrives. I summoned waitress and the kitchen messed up. I didn't eat much. They could have redid but didn't care to wait another half hour. For dessert, the Bar feature was Banana Brownie, which was a huge piece for $1.99. This was more dense, like banana bread, but really good. Came from a pan, so assume homemade. Our family shared it. Basically, your small town cafe where mostly everything is frozen. One and done for me.Review 78 in 2023."
"This place is tucked away near United Hospital between 5th and 7th in StP. Since my partner doesn't care for breakfast food for breakfast, the diversity of LA Fusion's menu was perfect for him. Their full menu was available at 9am.Samosas, Kenyan bowls, crepes, burgers, salads, smoothies, quesadillas, lattes, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes oh my!I ordered the beef samosas. My partner ordered the chicken quesadillas. Both came out within minutes. Three crispy samosas with a jerk dipping sauce (you have a choice of several different options) YUM! Well stuffed full of beef with a perfect crunch. The quesadilla was huge. He could only finish half and took the rest home for lunch. Very clean place. Huge drink menu. This was our second time visiting and look forward to exploring more of the menu."
"Classic American cafe. We were here for breakfast. I had meat & cheese omelet - yum. My husband had pancake, eggs, sausage& bacon also good, ( I liked my omelet better). It was busy on Monday morning and the two servers were running off their feet, so service was a bit slow. The servers were great, cheerful and working hard, just too many tables, hence 4* vs 5*."
"Delightful! Staff was pleasant and attentive, food was piping hot and so incredibly tasty. The patio was lovely."
"We stopped at Table on Main for breakfast, and everything was amazing. The service, the food, and the atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and fun. It took us a while to decide what we wanted to order, and she was very patient. The food was hot (hot is 60% of good for me), and the food looked and tasted as good as it looked. All in all, one of the better meals we have had on our trip. I forgot to mention the prices were very reasonable also."
"We snowmobiled from Winter to Exeland and ate here. The food and atmosphere were excellent! Great food, great service and we will definitely be back in the future! I would highly recommend the party melt and fries, they also have a variety of breakfast and lunch combos. Would highly recommend"
"We were on our way to the Aldi nearby and noticed the restaurant. So after shopping, we stopped by for some breakfast. We were quickly greeted and seated.I got the Farm Style Omelet with wheat toast. My friend got the Egg House Favorite with wheat toast. Both were really good. The only issue we had was that the toast was barely toast, so it was difficult to get jelly on the slices. Having let them go for another 30 seconds to a minute would have made perfect toast. The portions are generous and they do a really good job with hashbrowns. We both took half of our meals home to eat later.Service was ok, with a man taking over for whatever reason. We started out with the young lady working there. He refilled our coffee and brought out our food. He was friendly and quick. We do plan on returning again. Our visit was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so it could have factored into the place not being busy."
"I could tell by the fact it was bustling that we were in for a special treat on a Saturday morning. However even though it was busy, service was speedy and efficient. All the pastries seemed divine and the biscuit with homemade jelly reminded me of home. They serve a generous side of bacon and the place is overall a filling tasty breakfast spot with delicious drinks as well. Definitely worth popping your head into for either a bag or treats to go or a sit down meal. (Side note very cute atmosphere and cheery vibe complete with a hand painted mural)"
"A truly stunning cafe in the Four Seasons Hotel - great spot to work if you're traveling, staying here, or want to pretend like you're staying here and treat yourself accordingly!I stopped in for a morning beverage and to work from here for a bit. My first impression: stunning. There's a literal tree inside, with beautiful serene, luxurious decor and finishes. It will put you at ease and make you feel like you're surrounded by beauty. The drink menu is concise, which I appreciate espresso, coffee, cold brew, lattes, tea, chai, and matcha. Prices were reasonable for being in the Four Seasons! They had more food options than I was expecting: - A great variety of pastries and cookies- Museli and parfaits, and breakfast sandwiches- Sicilian pizza slices or whole pizzas- Salads, bowls, and sandwiches for lunchMy only complaint was no gluten-free pastry or cookie option - but a girl can dream! There were some salad, bowl, and soup options that were gluten-free.Service was friendly, quick, and I got my drink brought out to me shortly after ordering. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stunning spot to meet a client, work, etc. - it's sure to impress!"
"Just happened to come across this charming spot for breakfast. The ambiance was homey, the homemade corned beef hash was amazing and the service couldn't have been better. It is now my go-to place for breakfast on the way back from the airport."
"I consider myself a foodie and oh my gosh this place was a 10/10. The food was incredible. We got a little bit of everything and it was just perfect. From the owners to the outside patio .. you HAVE to go!!!"
"I've been dying to check out The Nucleus, and oh my gosh, I'm so happy I finally did! We had a little girls' brunch on Saturday, and it was absolutely perfect! From the yummy food to the sweet service and the cutest decor, it's safe to say we're already planning our next visit to try more of the menu!I went for an blended coffee called The (Frozen) Girl Scout (a dreamy peppermint mocha), and they were so sweet to make it decaf just for me. Their blender was on the fritz so it wasn't blended but it was just as yummy iced!! For food, I couldn't resist the strawberry-stuffed French toast--let me tell you, it was AMAZING. They totally piled on the whipped topping, and I was living for it!I can't wait to take my sister here next time! I think we just found our new brunch spot!"
"The place lives up to the hype! All staff members were friendly and very attentive. Everything was very fresh with a variety of flavors and the view is delightful of the harbor. Be sure to check their Facebook page for their current menu as it changes frequently."
"My friend and I arrived right when it opened. Neither of us were aware that it was order at the counter style. I kind of prefer the traditional way of dining, but this was fine. Some of the items are a little bit pricey- a side of bacon for almost $8.00- it would have to be some pretty spectacular bacon. Ordered the Cuban breakfast which was okay. It came with rice, beans, three plantains, eggs and pancakes. It was alright but not super flavorful. I thought it being Cuban would have a little more flavor. My friend ordered the french toast which looked really good. Everything is basically self service- drinks, ordering, seating which is fine. The general layout is kind of odd. Drink station right by the bathroom with a stream of people waiting for the bathroom and to get their drinks."
