"Food and FunWhile visiting my brother in Minneapolis, we happened upon Town Hall Lanes. We planned on bowling then finding a place to eat dinner. We arrived and surprisingly had to walk through a restaurant to get to the lanes. Considering that they were clearly a restaurant too we looked at the menu as we prepped for a late afternoon bowlapalooza. We found several items on the menu that looked good, ordered them then proceeded to bowl. The service was fast and polite, the food was way better than we expected for a bowling alley so we ordered more and nixed dinner plan in favor of a longer bowling outing. The atmosphere is equal parts modern conveniences, elegance and decadence mixed with vintage bowling ally. It's artfully styled. The menu was definitely built on the idea of old bowling alley convenience food but it's curated and elevated both in flavor and appearance to match the exacting standards society has for gastro pubs. We enjoyed our time at Town Hall Lanes if was both fun and sated our dinner cravings. Town Hall Lanes was not crowded, parking was easy and ample. The prices were reasonable and the food was really good. We enjoyed the care that THL gives to every aspect of a customers experience. If you're in the area it's an easy all inclusive night out."
"Fun bowling place with a bar and food served. Loved the fried cheesecurds (yes, there was a squeak so you know it is fresh) and the gourmet popcorn with parmesan, Italian seasoning, olive oil and butter was absolutely great. There's all sorts of food items on the menu, including salads and ofher full meal items. There's a good list of beers and ciders, and it looks like there is a full bar as well. The server comes down to the table at the pane that you are assigned to and takes your orders there. The bowling alley itself has a great nostalgic feel to it, and after a certain time, the blacklights come on. Prices are fair and there's also a student discount if you bring your student ID. There's also a lot of parking in the back and a volleyball court in the lot."
"Great little local, small town bowling alley/restaurant and bar. Big, open space. Kind of dark even with lots of windows. Locals stick to themselves and are loved by the staff but the staff still takes care of the outsiders really well! I stopped in for breakfast passing through. Was what to be expected. Fair prices, everything was cooked exactly how I would want it. The bacon was the highlight. Perfectly prepared, still soft and a little chewy but a nice exterior crunch. Just really, really good. I also ordered a Bloody Mary. Tastes made with a pre made mix, which again is to be expected. Came garnish with an olive and pickle. My breakfast and two Bloodys came to $24.75 which is more than reasonable in my eyes. I wouldn't make a special trip for this place but would gladly stop again passing through or recommend it to someone passing through."
"Came here to buy bowling shoes from Mike's pro shop. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and doesn't pressure you.We felt taken care of and walked out with new shoes. Excited to start wearing them and know we can come back if they aren't working out."

Food is great, bowling is cheap and not too crowded, lots of free parking nearby. Restaurant and bowling alley are separated so your meal isn't disrupted by any bowling. Definitely will return!

I love this place so much!! My friends and I bowl every week. It is just so much fun. The music is not too loud and you can still laugh with your friends. The service is good too and they have a nice selection of drinks. The southwest wrap is a must have!!

We enjoyed a family outing last night and were impressed with the service, the food, and the staff.Nine of us gathered for dinner and everyone seemed to enjoy the offerings. We had everything from nachos to omelets and not a complaint was heard. After dinner, six of us bowled. We will not be forming a pro team any time soon but we had good laughs and fun.My only negative comment would be about how neglected the ladies restroom was. It was dirty, smelled less than pleasant, and simply didn't match how clean the rest of the facility was.

This is a great place to host kids birthday parties. The service here is superb. They answer all my questions over the phone, give me options, help me stay within my budget. I really, really appreciate that. Also, their food really exceeded my expectations. The flatbread pizza is fancy! I just expected a freeze and bake papa johns kinda pizza but its restaurant quality. Their nacho deluxe and boneless wings are delicious! After bowling, the kids love to play at the arcade. So many games to choose from! The facilities are pretty clean and they have automatic bumpers and ramps for kids. Highly recommend this place!

Went here Wed night for a family gathering/reception. There was probably 24-30 of us....with ONE server, Damien. He was TOP notch. He was attentive and on top of everything all night!! Never had to ask for anything, Damien was always there asking what you needed! The food?! I had the pork with mashed potatoes and green beans... DEEEELICIOUS!!! One of the best meals I've had...ever!! The whole evening was excellent. Medina isn't my side of town but based on the service & food this week would DEFINITELY consider Medina as the place to go if I host a gathering!

We've been going to Great River Bowl every Black Friday for the past three years now. We've never had a bad experience! But this time it was really cool to see that they upgraded their lines to have a more digital/interactive experience. You can even change the theme of the scoreboard TV - something extra that was cute. They did change so they charge you by the hour now, but that's actually kind of nice if you have a smaller group because you can get through about two games in an hour (for four people). As for food and drink, our waitress was very on top of coming to our lane and checking on us. We ordered some drinks (the blood mary were actually pretty good) and an appetizer sampler. No complaints! We'll be back again for Black Friday 2020!

"This place is so fun! Yes it gets busy, but all of the staff is attentive and friendly! The food at the Italian Pie Shoppe is phenomenal!Great drinks!!!"
"This venue is good for watching live music and has a huge parking lot. The only think I can say that would bring this venue to a 5 star rating is if they put in a little extra into making it a little fancier. We paid extra for good seats and the tables could have used some tablecloths or something to hide the fact that they weren't in the best of shape. I think they could upgrade their furniture or hide it better. Live music is really the only reason I've been here and the sound system and lighting seem to always be very good. If you come here for live music, you'll enjoy yourself."
"I cannot speak to the food, as we didn't have any, but I can speak to the bowling. We went here for the first time, as a family, and had an enjoyable evening bowling. The alley wasn't too busy. There were fun pop tunes playing. We rented our shoes and played one game. The automated alley and screens keep score for you. It was all-around, family fun, for a total of $47. A little steep, but still worth it. Weeknights you can bowl for $2 after 9 pm. That's a much better deal. This bowling alley also has a special room that looks like it can be rented. There's also a pub/bar where you can order pub food and drinks. Both the pub and the rental room are nicely decorated with trendy, warm colors. They look like decent spaces to spend some time with friends. After 10 pm, the bowling alley has Extreme Bowling with special lights and glowing items. It costs a lot more, but it's popular with the teens/young adults. The bowling alley was moderately loud, with the other bowlers and the music, but still not too bad. It was what you expect when you go bowling. If you're looking to do something a little different, yet fun, with your family, consider bowling here. It's a clean place that will provide a fun activity for all of you. They have bumpers on some of the lanes for those under age 11."
