"This was so close to a 5 star for me! My friend and I went here for my birthday dinner and we got:Cuban samplerChicharron de polloSteak and shrimp Al AjilloWhite sangria The sampler was absolutely delicious. My friend and I loved the croquettes. she said that was her favorite. It was crispy on the outside and creamy inside. The pork belly was so yummy too. The sauces they gave were all very tasty and perfect for what we had. My friends chicharron de pollo was delicious. Flash fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Highly recommend. My shrimp and steak however needed more seasoning. I'm not sure what was up with that but the sauce and the steak both needed more seasoning. It was a bit bland. I also wish I had more rice but that's just a personal amount preference since I looooove rice! The plantains and shrimp were my favorite part about this dish. Plantains were perfectly caramelized and the shrimp was seasoned well and wasn't over cooked. The white sangria was delicious though! Not too sweet which can happen easily with white wine. The service was great. They were busier when we arrived but the food arrived at a decent time. I would love to go back and give them another chance because there was more pros than cons."
"Absolute gem in MN. Being from San Diego, I have high standards for Mexican fare. The margaritas were well made, great salsa and everyone in the party enjoyed their dish. Service was great."

"Had a family meal here. Reasonable sized parking lot just outside, shared with Domino's Pizza. Inside, there is a ton of seating, either high top near the bar or low top down the steps. The bar area has fun lighting to add some sparkle. They have a nice outdoor area (it's January so didn't give that a whirl). Everyone ordered burgers although they have some other options too. Service was perfectly attentive. The burgers were mediocre, mostly cooked beyond their very own recommended medium making some a bit tough. The fries (regular and waffles) stood out but were under seasoned. In general, the food was lacking in the flavor department . Not a burger joint to rush back to for our group."
"The ambience was great! Great live music on the patio. We shared poke nachos and wow! This was a special was fantastic! We did have the Brussel sprouts and I wouldn't get them again, they were sadly over done but I ate them. He had a chicken sandwich and loved it. Our waiter Fransico was extremely pleasant and prompt. We will be back!"
"Ambiance: I go to TL quite frequently and each time I've been they've been updating a new part of the shop. I think new carpet, new ceiling and a new tasting bar?!Customer Service: The people keep me coming back. They remember my name, my dog and my order. They are knowledgeable and will chat with you to answer all of your questions no matter where your palette is at.My family lives in the western suburbs and puts in monthly pick up orders at the shop.Tip: My favorite employees are the owner Mike and his bulldog Bernie.Added a few photos from when I was last there!"
"A very impressive little beer shop and definitely worth the stop. The selection of beers covers all the bases and then some - they have your usual cases of "regular" beer and then for the craft beer lovers out there, there is a pretty dazzling array of beers from all over the place. I like looking around because you never know what is hiding on the shelves. We also really like that they sell a lot of single bottles and cans, if you are looking to sample a bunch of new beers or aren't willing to commit to buying a four- or six-pack. Shopping at Elevated is like being in one of those candy stores where everything is sold by weight and you can just grab whatever you want. It's super fun if you have some beer lovers in your life. There's also wine (not for me) and a walk-in cold case with cases of beer ready for the drinking (though it seems like the selection in there is more "regular" beer and less craft).Totally worth the stop."
"My sister in Madison said she wanted to eat here when she visits nexts. My sister sent me pictures of their burger that had me drooling. Naturally, as a younger brother, I had to check it out first. There was a long list of items on the menu, which is refreshing. There's a chicken sandwich, nachos, and pretzel sticks that we will be back for, but we needed more mouths for those dishes. We tried the burger and fries, which are excellent - some of the best fries I've had in awhile. They cooked them extra long. The chips paired with our salsa were "meh". The square curds will make you smile from ear to ear. Everything came out hot which was also a win for us. The staff were friendly and this place has another side to the bar for pickleball. This is more of a self serve bar and restaurant. You will order on your phone and pick up your own order when it's ready. The wall of beers is the same as Union32 in Eagan."
"I've been here a couple of times and had similar experiences both times. The service is a little slow and there can be some strange characters inside. The bar itself is pretty big but they keep the lights so low that it feels dark and smaller than it probably is.They have a decent amount of tap beers and a full bar. Happy hour drink specials are from 9-11 every night which is a great deal on the weekends. The food was better than I expected. We got the Bbq chicken nachos and chicken tenders. Both portions are huge, especially the tenders. They come with 6 giant tenders in the appetizer order. The nachos were piled high with salsa, corn, black beans and chicken. It was really nice that they serve the sour cream and jalapeños on the side because not everyone likes those. If you come during an Ohio state sporting event it will be packed. Apparently it's an Ohio state bar which is fun!"
"This is a great place to stop for great atmosphere and a sports vibe. They have a great beach volleyball patio with a great summer beach vibe for a relaxed summer feel. The patio service left a little bit to be desired; but once you get service, they are all about taking good care of you! Well worth the stop to grab a good bite to eat at a local establishment"
"I've been to this liquor store only a couple of times, I would think it's been more than that but alas it has not. Let me tell you a little story about my last visit here which was yesterday. There was a bit of confusion and this one transaction was taking a extraordinary amount of time. The cashier sounded super chill asking this customer two or three questions a few times over. They opened a second line so those that are impatient could move on with their day... me being slightly nosy and an avid eves dropper moved closer to the action. Turns out the customer a tall slim fellow had attempted to swipe two extra cans of beer on top of the 12 back he was buying. He had shoved these cans into his front jeans pockets which made them super obvious. So once the customers gave up the goods he was asked very calmly to exit and not come back. What really got me in this whole interaction is that the beer this dude was trying to steal was bud light! He was buying bud light and just wanted two more? Of all the wonderful selection of great local and other domestic beer treats this guy just wants all the bud light he was shove in his pants! The beer selection here is truly great! The staff are super chill and helpful. Also the wine selection is a little confusing but once you ask it all makes sense and there are some gems in there!"

I took my brother here for a brunch while he was in town, and this spot blew us away! The inside is so cozy and cute - perfect cafe vibes or get dinner/drinks with a friend.Service is at the counter and was very friendly and quick. We opted to sit outside on their patio in the summer sun. The umbrellas have seen better days, but it's a great little patio!I went with the breakfast menu and did the vaca frita hash - so rich and meaty and delicious, very filling. My brother got the Cuban - a no brainer at a Cuban cafe! - and he raved about it. We split their Tres Leches Latte and that was spot on for flavor. Highly recommend for a drink or bite in the area!

It's situated on the corner and you almost miss it driving by. I parked in the lot next to it but I'm not sure if that was their lot or not. We arrived at five on a Wednesday and it was dead. By seven it was full though. They have a wonderful menu of things to choose from. I enjoy places that make unique dishes you don't see at other restaurants. Most of the dishes could be shareables since they came with two of each. We started with chips and guac. The house made nachos were really good! Perfectly crunchy and seasoned. The guac was guac - basic, good snack before meals. The potato sopes were a nice shareable appetizer. The smoked cashew-cilantro pesto was really good! The shrimp and quesabirria tacos were really tasty. The quesabirria tacos were huge and the broth was so good! Service was great. Cocktails were amazing. Prices are above average. An overall nice, small, Mexican restaurant.

Great service and indulgent food.Chicken Wings - $1 each on Thu, they were small but tasty. The Nashville hot wasn't hot and the parmesan garlic was good.Mini corn dogs $9 - They were mini, crispy on the outside with tiny hot dog inside.Asian salad $13 - I like that it was cabbage based, good dressing. It does get soggy if you take it as leftovers.Shake $7 - Oreo and peanut butter is yummy!.|\---/|| o_o |.\_^_/..2023

This is the place for knowledgable staff and great finds. When I have a special occasion, I go here. They always know what to pair with the food I plan to serve and the prices are competitive with other shops. I just wanted a split of champagne to celebrate an amazing day and they had a huge selection of sparkling wines with a wide range of prices. If you're looking for something hard to find, not the usual grocery store stuff, definitely come here. And the music is always good, too.

Great selection. The guy working asked if I needed help. I said yes how about some good IPAs. He replied sorry I only drink dark beer I can't help you.Maybe try hiring more helpful staff? You don't need to drink the specific item to help on what's popular, customers like!? I won't come back.

Great place for groups! Played picked ball first with my coworkers. Then we grabbed some food and drink in the taproom + kitchen. You have to check in at front to get a wristband and card, as you have to scan the card for the beers. We had a few apps, the pickle fries- wish they were a little thicker but they were yummy, the sweet potato fries (they had a Cajun seasoning) and the filet mignon sliders (idk if they were actually filet but they were really tender the gravy substance was weird tho). The wraps looks fire but didn't get them. For the workers- The whole table number system was a little off- we got asked a handful of times if a certain food was ours but it wasn't. I recommend having a table number map but the expo line to avoid the confusion by the servers. Overall great time and will be back.

While visiting Minneapolis from Houston, my wife and I wanted to enjoy a spot to watch the World Series (Go Astros!) The first spot was too cramped and the TVs were small. So, we did some quick research and found this absolute gem of a bar and grill. They had a pretty good craft brew selection. The bar area was the most comfortable bar I've ever sat at. The bartender was fantastic. What we were not expecting was how great the food was. I ordered the dry rub wings. The flavor and texture was unbelievable. The hand cut fries were also amazing. They managed to keep hand cut fries crispy, which is no easy task.

"We were doing a wedding photo shoot and stopped into Keenan's for a few fancy dive bar photos. They are right across the street from CSPS event venue. The bar is super clean and actually surprisingly well lit for a bar. The have a pool table, lots of seating as well as a lounge area. The staff was super welcoming and the customers were friendly as well. They offered us a free celebratory shot for our marriage. We came back for some food which was delicious. They have some great appetizer options including the Italian dunkers which were phenomenal. Way better than the ones I remember from middle school. They also have lots of burger options, and a fried chicken sandwich. Their French fries were amazing - battered and crispy! Yum yum! We will be coming back to try the wings."
"My favorite liquor store in the cities. They have an outstanding whiskey/bourbon selection, huge beer walk in storage area, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Shout out to Tim and John for taking good care of me whenever I come around!"
"Great new location in Excelsior! Kowalski's is known for the quality and you won't be disappointed here. The store is bright, cheery, and laid out well. They have a great produce and meat selection! I love all the added fun merchandise with in the store! There is a Starbucks and a Wine shop attached! I mean really what else do you need! Only downside is the busy parking lot..."
"This was one of my hangouts in Kato. I was happy when it expanded.Pluses: -Great bar food, especially the old standard chicken strips with lightly seasoned fries and honey mustard. Nachos, the Maverick Burger, the Ace of Spades and their buffalo chicken salad are tasty too.-The Cider beer on tap. Nice if you're sick of beer or hungover.- Location. Good place to get your night going. Always people around and the patio is nice.- Music/Decor. Love the blues and the photos that compliment the bar's name.Minusses:- The smell. It's almost worse since the smoking ban.- The staff. It's tough to get any service, even when it's slow. I wish the back bar would just stay open all the time. If you know someone that works there, only go when he or she is working. It helps."
"The liquor vault in downtown St Paul has the largest selection of alcohol from Minnesota distilleries. Small, but well curated sections for rum and other spirits."
"We were here for a birthday party, and the only people in the restaurant. It was later, a 9pm start. There was a variety of food that we sampled, but our order specifically was a medium steakhouse burger and the smoked chicken penne. We sampled the wings, and they seemed the best things that the table ordered. We also had the Jamaican patty's and they were phenomenal. The starters came out very timely and were hot. As for the meal, we ordered and the wait for the food seemed incredibly long. We ordered the burger medium, that is a very well done burger. Don't ask how I want my burger cooked if it doesn't matter. The fries were absolutely wonderful. We ordered a side of garlic aioli and it was just straight mayonnaise. As for the pasta dish, the menu made it seem like it came with a creamy goat cheese. As you can see in the photo. It was TOPPED with an entire piece of cheese. The pasta was warm-ish, but the cheese was fresh from the fridge cold. The table ordered the lobster Mac and it came without a spec of seasoning, would not suggest at all. The table also ordered some meat with veggie sides and were pleased with it. There was also a Nashville hot chicken sandwich that the table thought was the best meal that came out. Service was ok at best. They are a new establishment within the last couple weeks. There seemed to be a lot of staff walking around. But I didn't feel we should have requested drinks twice, or our food should have taken so long for it to come out less then hot. My husband adamantly thinks their menu is too big and they should find a specialty and stick to it. There were a lot of categories, and it was a bit overwhelming. All in all, really pricey for mediocre food and service."
"It's a liquor store. Being new to Minnesota, the concept of only being able to get your booze at one is still new to me. I'm used to picking up alcohol at Target or the grocery store. That being said, I was impressed by the wine selection. Maybe that's because I had low expectations. It seems to a decent selection of beers too. The service is friendly and the location is convenient. I just wish they were open later and on Sundays, but that's not the store's fault."
"I love popping in here once in a while, when I want to be more adult-y and buy something other than cheap liquor and light beer. The first time I came here was in pursuit of Shipyard's Pumpkinhead beer, a seasonal beer from Maine that basically runs from everyone's faucets in New England. I was terrified to find that not many places carry it in MN, until I called Bacchus. Whether I come here looking for something specific or to browse, I always leave happy and excited (or more excited than usual to start drinking...). Though it's not a huge place, it packs a lot of fun choices. The employees make such great and informative suggestions that I always happy to take their advice and even try something new. They are so knowledgable but also honest - it doesn't feel sales-y. I've enjoyed a lot of wine, beer, seasonals, and beer-liquor-hybrids from here. They can be a little pricey, but I like to splurge once in a while. It's at the end of a plaza with a big shared parking lot, so you can park your car close by when you're hauling all of your new beer to it. I usually stop next door to Fresh & Natural for some quality food to soak up the alcohol!"
"Big Bottle is under new management! Greta is who I've met, she is very friendly and open to suggestions for the store!"
"F yeah I feel very compelled to write a review of a liquor store! I am very grateful for it for SO many reasons, but a new one is for the great customer service. When a few friends came to town, I wanted to gift them with a sampling of our local beer. So I called around to several local liquor stores, looking for ones that offered BYO six packs. Most said no, until I spoke with a woman at Central Spirits. She was friendly and helpful on the phone, and then even more so in person. She directed me to where I could build my own six pack of local beers from a designated fridge. She even let me break open a 4 pack of Surly that wasn't in the fridge, just to add a few to my pack. Each can was priced fairly and I ended up paying under $15 for a custom variety of 6 local beers. It's not a huge store and I didn't browse the thing, so I can't speak too much to their variety. There were a few local breweries that I didn't see represented there, though, and there were only 2 or 3 types of Surly brews. Regardless, I'll definitely be back and I hope I win the giveaway I entered!"
"Definitely Recommend for a private party or just a night out... We booked their back room for a holiday party for our company and the service was beyond our expectations. Everything was perfectly set up, and ready for us, the owners checked in often and met all of our needs and the bartenders and food service was top notch. We ordered pizza and appetizers from the Plus and they made us some impeccable desserts! The staff continuously came back to the room to keep up with drink orders, which was very convenient for our large group. On top of the great service, it was clean, cozy and classy. The price was beyond reasonable for everything it included. We will definitely be having more of our event/parties there."
"Never knew it was called Warehouse Liquor, sure doesn't "feel" like a warehouse when you're in there! LOL, it's a nice neighborhood liquor store but it feels compact to me. Fair prices and the staff is friendly."
"I've stopped here a few times, and I've always gotten a lot of help if I'm searching for something specific, but I'm not exactly sure what it is...does that make sense? The staff has made suggestions based upon the info I provide, and I've never been disappointed. They have a great selection for a relatively small store, and the prices are pretty decent too."
"Great prices, friendly service. This is my beau's favorite liquor store. He was able to describe the beer he wanted and the store associate steered him right to it. He couldn't remember the name at the time. They have good every day prices and great sales. They aren't even grumpy on Sundays. If you're looking for something and aren't sure, you'll find help and a smile."
