Decor and furnishings are a little dated, but service is attentive. Ordered a NA wine, a milkshake, nachos, a burger, and the daily special.Wine frizzante was served chilled in a wine glass. The black cherry milkshake was sweet and creamy but was cherry syrup mixed in soft serve vs cherry ice cream. The chicken nachos were very good - nachos were crisp, chicken was tender and flavorful, pico and sour cream were cold. The daily special that day was pot roast special was a large portion of pot roast served with baby carrots, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes with a well of gravy. The beef was fork-tender and had a tasty rich flavor. The Ellsworth Lucy burger was well-cooked, well-seasoned, and flavored well. We had sweet potato tots on the side which came with a chipotle sauce. The tots had great texture - soft inside with crisp exterior, and the chipotle sauce was creamy with a nice kick."

Yes! I had Dave's burger and picked the Cole slaw as my side Hubs picked the Marty's burger and fries for his side I am on the hunt for the best Cole slaw - Newts was good but I prefer it really cold Burgers are fresh hand patty prep and delicious! Can't wait to come in a continue to check out the burger options Bartender was friendly and engaging - shout out to Niki! Overall great choice and a nod to the hubs for noticing Newts is now in AV ! I don't know.... something hoppy so it was a good beer, just not for my palate. The digs were comfy, spread out. I was the only one sitting @ the bar so it gave me a chance to chat up the beertender, Lindsey, who was lovely. I will definitely stop back in whenever I find myself in town again. "Went to Puralima for lunch on a Wednesday and it was poppin'! But after trying it out, now I know why. Parking was a bit tricky because it's north loop and it was during lunch time, but only had to walk a block over. The inside of gorgeous! So colorful, light, and fun. They have a ton of options to choose from: tacos, burritos, salads, bowls, or nachos. I did a build your own chicken bowl with cauliflower and a mix of different toppings. The food was fresh and quite tasty! I will say it's a bit more on the pricey side compared to Chipotle or Qdoba, but I'd pay for the quick service and fresh ingredients. I'll definitely go back to try out a few other things. Also, try their homemade limeades!"

I asked for the basil mayo on the side and I'm glad I did as it was really rich and I think it would have over powered the burger. Additionally we got nachos... and they were very subpar. 20 dollars and truly nothing very special to them, would skip out on ordering them next time. Staff was super nice and the restaurant was clean and cozy!"

"Randomly stopped here for a late lunch on a Thursday afternoon after a quick stop at the gas station which is next door to the restaurant. My friend and I asked our waiter for recommendations as the menu is fairly large and lots of variety. He recommend the garlic pizza fries but recommended to add pepperoni. Very good! My friend and I also shared the cranberry wild rice club sandwich.... Delish! Let's just say now I want cranberry wild rice bread all the time. The beer was SO cold, it's almost like they freeze the glass. I've never had beer so cold and now I wish all places served it like that. It's a neighborhood bar but I think a hidden little gem. Service was great. Food was great. Prices were good too. A stop worth making and I'll be back."

It just so happened that Alloy Brewing Company was celebrating their anniversary too! Yay!The Space: Located in a strip mall off Coon Rapids Blvd, Alloy Brewing Company features ample parking and a large patio out back. Offering up the perfect space for patrons and food trucks alike.The Brews: During our visit, I sipped on the Raspberry Pineapple Earthshake IPA. Now I'll be the first to admit that I, at the time, wasn't the biggest IPA fan. However, this brew may have been a turning point for me. It was tart and tropically delicious. The Food Trucks: There's quite the variety of food trucks that make their way to Alloy Brewing Company. On this particular day, Smokin' J's BBQ was on the scene and serving up some delicious BBQ, which we gladly noshed on.The Service: The beertenders were super friendly and handled the crowds with ease. "It was about half full on a Wednesday night when we stopped in and then it was about 98% full 15 minutes later. Only one server. She was really working hard. One bartender, probably one cook and one server - they need more staff.We had to wait to order and the food was about 25 minutes later. Our order was correct and she refilled beverages too. The burgers can be cooked to order and mine was correct at medium rare. I had a burger with mushrooms, cheese and a few other items and my husband had a French Dip. The burger was great. The French Dip was dry and well-done. My husband said the au jus made up for it but I wouldn't order that. Fries were great but the onion rings didn't have many onions inside and most of the breading fell off.Our server was great and I am rounding up because she needs a raise."

"Really enjoyed my time at Flask! I hadn't tried this place before because the menu was kind of small but I see now that I've been missing out! The interior is super cool. Decorated in a bunch of photos and different memorabilia. The drink menu is quite extensive and they do some really cool bourbon flights. I started with a cucumber Collins and I wear this tasted so good and refreshing. I was going to try a different drink but I just had to get a second one. My friend ordered the old fashion. I've never really enjoyed those before but this one was very tasty! Not too harsh. For an appetizer we started with the firecracker shrimp. These were absolutely delicious! And don't let the photo fool you, the portion was amazing. Could definitely be shared between 4 people and everyone would still get around 4-5 shrimp. For dinner I had the Buffalo chicken wrap. I really enjoyed this because it was pressed almost like a panini. It was refreshing to have a wrap that was warm and toasted. My friend had the shrimp street tacos and really enjoyed them. Over this place was pretty great! I'm definitely going to be coming back here soon."

"All right. New location taking over from the old Liquor Lyle's. You ever come to this place? One of the best dive bar happy hour's in the WORLD. 2 for 1's ran from 9am-Noon, 3pm-6pm, & 9pm to midnight. Plus, if a Vikes game was on, it was 2 for 1's. Yes, you literally could have 9 hours of 2 for 1's on a Sunday. Ha! Ha! I wish I had pics of the government block cheese, saltine crackers, sardines, and the chicken wings that were dumped on the silver serving tray in the shape of that fryer basket. Legendary. But back to Litt. They kept a lot of the same shape of Lyle's, painted things and they have so many pinball machines. Plus there is parking in back and the street parking is honestly easier than their old location. And more importantly is that the food is on point. There is a thing happening food wise with five bars and I think LITT does it well. They offer up a smashie burger and it's $2-$4 cheaper than other places and also very good. The dogs are also being served and overall, that little kitchen makes some good grub. There are also booths that utilize the old playfield of a pinball machine. Shorty's (RIP) in Seattle used to have this and their Schtick too was hot dogs. I feel LITT has embraced this dive attitude with better grub and expanded it in a good way. Because honestly? It is about the pinball and having a regular beer. I recommend checking out the Pinball Map app to see what sort of machines are there if pinball is your thing.Also, playing earlier in the day increases your chances of actually hearing the machine."

The parking lot is more of a culdesac than a parking lot & is adjacent to a large bike path. The warehouse style that seems to be offensive to some reviewers is, in my opinion, exactly what sets it apart & lifts it up. It's larger, open, relaxed & welcoming. It isn't trying to be anything more than a great space with solid brews at fabulous prices. We were immediately greeted on approaching the bar & given a quick run down. The barkeep also expressed interest in the other places in the passport we had visited & what we liked. Honestly, it felt like a place where you should sip slowly & hang out a while... meet a new friend, maybe one with 4 legs. It simply felt very welcoming and non-pretentious. Out for a bike ride, hike, day drive, lake day, etc and need a drink? "A good friend of mine suggested we meet here for lunch. I had never heard of the Wild Boar and based on initial reviews, honestly I didn't have high expectations. They are kind of off the beaten path in Oakdale. Tucked away just off of 694 and 10th street. It was a nice day so we decided to sit on the patio. They have a nice large patio with plenty of room and it has some nice shaded areas. I decided on the Wild Boar Cheesesteak which was prime rib with swiss cheese and sautéed onions and peppers. That came with Thai cream cheese on a hoagie roll with fries on the side. The fries were Ok, nothing special. The Wild Boar Cheesesteak was pretty darn good. The prime rib was tender, the onions and peppers were cooked perfectly and the thai cream cheese added a nice bite with some creaminess. I've had cheesesteaks from both Pat's and Gino's, no offense to anyone from Philly, this cheesesteak was better. My friend really liked her salad which also looked really good. We'll meet again for lunch and coming back to Wild Boar would be just fine by me."

"The 5-8 Club absolutely lives up to the hype! Their Juicy Lucy is an absolute must-try and truly a masterpiece. The burger was perfectly cooked, with the melted cheese oozing out in every bite so flavorful and satisfying! Be careful the cheese is extremely hot as you bite in! It's hands down one of the best burgers I've had for someone who prefers their burgers black and blue temperatures lol. They take the juicy Lucy and put their own spin on it. We ordered the saucy sally and the roadhouse versions. The sauce on my roadhouse juicy Lucy was absolutely delicious and was great on the burger and the fries. The fries are perfectly crisp and lightly salted. The saucy sally was also pretty good just super messy to eat. So be prepared for a messy meal but a delicious one. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. They really know how to make you feel at home.If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a chance to try the iconic Juicy Lucy, look no further. I can't recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back for more if I'm ever in the area again!They have their own parking lot which makes parking super easy and their prices really are great."
