"Great food, spacious and wait staff (especially Bekah) that is friendly and attentive. Had shrimp tacos that exceeded my expectations. Pico de Gallo was fresh and the serving size ample. Drinks were tasty also."
"Food was good, but menu didn't have a lot of variety, Good fit for the neighborhood - comfortable and friendly spot to hand out with friends and get a drink. Decor and furnishings are a little dated, but service is attentive. Ordered a NA wine, a milkshake, nachos, a burger, and the daily special.Wine frizzante was served chilled in a wine glass. The black cherry milkshake was sweet and creamy but was cherry syrup mixed in soft serve vs cherry ice cream. The chicken nachos were very good - nachos were crisp, chicken was tender and flavorful, pico and sour cream were cold. The daily special that day was pot roast special was a large portion of pot roast served with baby carrots, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes with a well of gravy. The beef was fork-tender and had a tasty rich flavor. The Ellsworth Lucy burger was well-cooked, well-seasoned, and flavored well. We had sweet potato tots on the side which came with a chipotle sauce. The tots had great texture - soft inside with crisp exterior, and the chipotle sauce was creamy with a nice kick."

"The food was delicious! I never would have pegged this small town saloon for a place to grab a bite to eat but it did not disappoint. Super yummy! The service was good but not the friendliest or most welcoming. All in all, good experience and definitely a way to capture the essence of small town Pillager."
"We were pleased to see an El Loro location near us! The service was excellent and our food was great! FYI right now during the week (mon-thurs) they have 2 for 1 margaritas--the lime ones only . Will be back."
"First time at Newts ! Walked in and nice place! Patio seating available- we chose to sit at the bar lots of screens for sports viewing and the bar stools are big and comfortable - always nice NA beer options bud zero and Odouls so my choice was a bud zero and the hubby had a Fulton blonde - 7 beers on tap and most importantly COLD ! Yes! I had Dave's burger and picked the Cole slaw as my side Hubs picked the Marty's burger and fries for his side I am on the hunt for the best Cole slaw - Newts was good but I prefer it really cold Burgers are fresh hand patty prep and delicious! Can't wait to come in a continue to check out the burger options Bartender was friendly and engaging - shout out to Niki! Overall great choice and a nod to the hubs for noticing Newts is now in AV ! The other locations are both in Rochester MN !"
"This was our first stop in Crosby. Dan, our server, was extremely nice and had great recommendations. As soon as we walked in, I smelled ribs and sure enough they were on special that night. My husband got the broasted chicken - roasted and deep friend to perfection. We each got mashed potatoes, corn and a dinner roll with our meal. It felt like a down home Sunday meal made with care - just what we needed on our first night in town!"
"DEEP. FRIED. BACON.Need I say more? No, I could stop here and be content with my review. However, just to round this out. The burgers are cooked pretty close to your liking, even if you ask for rare...which I find to be rare in the Midwest, so mos def a plus. There is also a pretty solid assortment of brews to choose from, as one would expect at an ale house. Also, even on a random weekday night, the day or so before Thanksgiving to be precise, we received decent service.Definitely worth checking out... if not just for the glorious DFB."
"I really like this place. It feels like a semi-upscale burger joint. Food is excellent. We went for a school fundraiser and loved it so I went back a few weeks later. Very good food."
"Popped in yesterday. Built a flight w assistance of friendly beertender Lindsey. I went w Miss Agatha, No Big Dill, Happy Porter & Yellow Jacket Imperial IPA. Beers were delicious, I didn't care for Yellow Jacket....but that was a me thing & not a bad beer!! I'm still trying to find my niche w IPA's, this wan't piny & bitter it just... I don't know.... something hoppy so it was a good beer, just not for my palate. The digs were comfy, spread out. I was the only one sitting @ the bar so it gave me a chance to chat up the beertender, Lindsey, who was lovely. I will definitely stop back in whenever I find myself in town again. Thanks Kinney Creek for a fun & delicious inaugural visit!!"
"Went to Puralima for lunch on a Wednesday and it was poppin'! But after trying it out, now I know why. Parking was a bit tricky because it's north loop and it was during lunch time, but only had to walk a block over. The inside of gorgeous! So colorful, light, and fun. They have a ton of options to choose from: tacos, burritos, salads, bowls, or nachos. I did a build your own chicken bowl with cauliflower and a mix of different toppings. The food was fresh and quite tasty! I will say it's a bit more on the pricey side compared to Chipotle or Qdoba, but I'd pay for the quick service and fresh ingredients. I'll definitely go back to try out a few other things. Also, try their homemade limeades!"
"Grabbed a quick meal here and the space was nice. I was pleasantly surprised since the outside didn't indicate what the inside would look like. Our waitress was Morgan, she was super helpful with going over the menu. We went with fish and chips, wings, and a classic burger. The food came out quickly (however, they weren't busy) and hot. If Im in town again I would swing by for a quick bite. The menu isn't fussy - just standard American cuisine."
"Santa Fe Juicy lucy was delicious! It was juicy as expected, onion rings were crunchy as needed, and the 5-8 tavern sauce was out of the ordinary! I'd be definitely coming back here again to try the others! Service was great, was constantly check up on to make sure everything was good. Self seating, and it was a nice place to catch up and chat"

We had a pretty okay time eating here this week! Service was a bit stunted throughout with us getting service from multiple staff. We also missed any sort of check-in questions like how was the drinks or meal which is always a slight staple to good customer service in my opinion. We had a four top table and were able to get seated in their main seating area which has several tables and booths. This is a small to medium restaurant so I would recommend calling ahead if you have a big group. There is also bar seating available although this is a beer and wine only bar. They advertised having a shoyu honey mustard dressing and a BBQ ranch as possible sauce options, my table ordered both and we only got one. When we asked the server for the other sauce she explained that although listed as two different options on the menu they were actually the same dipping sauce. It was confusing for her and for us at the table and as a waitress I think she should've clarified immediately when the two sauces were ordered or the menu should be revised to stop this misunderstanding from happening again. Additionally, when we asked questions about the menu the server didn't know and had to check with the kitchen so maybe an overall food knowledge refresher could be helpful for the staff. We also tried their boneless wings which were cooked well and plated nicely but had a surplus of dry rub on them that was slightly overwhelming. It was to the point that extra dry rub was falling off the wings onto the table as my partner ate them, definitely a little messy. We ordered the onion rings appetizer and for $9+ it was a little bit disappointing of a portion size and they came out cold. There was plenty of beer options but the food and beer ran slightly pricey for the dive bar level of service and food quality we felt they were at. This is a place I'd recommend more for families or a quick drink but I don't know if we'll revisit the menu. Ambience was very cute though, seemed like a nice local place. Tables were clean and they provided notepads at the table for kids to have something to do while waiting. Cute place, would love to see some small improvements!

We went here with our son for the first time. The popcorn was normal bar popcorn. The decorations had an older vibe with paper menus. We got the cheese curds to start and let me tell they are phenomenal. So light and crispy. Tasty AF.I got the boneless wings, and they let me pick two flavors. I was surprised by the large amount of wings I got. They were also very lightly breaded which was perfect. Good flavor. Overall I was very happy with them.My husband got the cheeseburger which was great. Bun was good, the meat was tasty. Big portion. Large portion of fries, which were only okay. The waitress was very nice and prompt. We will be back, and we recommend it.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has gone down hill from a few years ago. Service is lacking...even when you are the only table in the place. I used to like their garlic parmesan fries when they were prepared with an oil base coating infused with real minced garlic and generously sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Currently, they are now prepared with a buttery looking sauce that looks like it was squirted from a bottle and made to taste like garlic. Hardly any real garlic present, if any. Not to mention there was no parmesan sprinkling what so ever. The Philly sandwich was good...just a bit skimping on the steak portions. The grilled onion/pepper to steak ratio favored the former. On this most recent visit the fountain soda was FLAT...zero carbonation!

Today I wanted something different (I feel like I am personally keeping the gig economy going, lol) so I ordered Walleye Fingers and Goat Cheese Bruschetta from NorthStar Tavern. Their takeaway containers are cardboard, which is great for the environment but meant my food arrived cold. Eh, I ate it anyway ...Two things surprised me: The Walleye Fingers were tiny strips that *actually looked like* fish fingers if fish had fingers! and the Bruschetta was a DIY affair, with all the elements (goat cheese, julienned basil, balsamic reduction, and marinated tomatoes) in separate cups - the tomatoes being the largest. The crusty bread slices were a perfect vehicle and I had fun assembling them. Everything was very flavorful and the roasted jalapeño tartar sauce for the fingers was so, so good.

"I think we found a new date spot!! The food, the ambiance, total package. We started off with the rosemary fries and fried Brussel sprouts, both were amazing with tons of flavor! If someone says they don't like brussel sprouts, bring them here! They will change their mind. We then split the hanger steak tacos and the Lolo burger. The hanger taco was probably the best taco I've ever had! The Lolo burger was just the right amount of heat and flavor to satisfy anyone's hunger!Parking is great and the staff is excellent, please check them out when in Hudson WI.Added bonus: close walk to the beach for Xmas lights or walking off the amazing food."
"Without a doubt the best Chicken Pot Pie I've ever had! Huge, overreaching puff pastry w rich creamy sauce. When I ordered it, I asked if the pie was really good. All the help in the vicinity began shaking their heads in unison, saying it was amazing. So I took their word. I don't think you'll be disappointed!"
"I am happy that we have another option in our small community. After several separate visits I am happy to give Black Cherry Smokehouse a thumbs up!"
"Good place to get some classic burgers. Lots of options including different kinds of smash burger. I ended up ordering the California smash burger and it was delicious! I asked for the basil mayo on the side and I'm glad I did as it was really rich and I think it would have over powered the burger. Additionally we got nachos... and they were very subpar. 20 dollars and truly nothing very special to them, would skip out on ordering them next time. Staff was super nice and the restaurant was clean and cozy!"
"Randomly stopped here for a late lunch on a Thursday afternoon after a quick stop at the gas station which is next door to the restaurant. My friend and I asked our waiter for recommendations as the menu is fairly large and lots of variety. He recommend the garlic pizza fries but recommended to add pepperoni. Very good! My friend and I also shared the cranberry wild rice club sandwich.... Delish! Let's just say now I want cranberry wild rice bread all the time. The beer was SO cold, it's almost like they freeze the glass. I've never had beer so cold and now I wish all places served it like that. It's a neighborhood bar but I think a hidden little gem. Service was great. Food was great. Prices were good too. A stop worth making and I'll be back."
"Came out for a hunter safety course... Stop by Becks burgers and the place was fantastic. Exceptional bloody Mary's burgers were great buffalo wrap with spicy and the service was exceptional."
"Stopped here for a drink before dinner next door Our friends were already seated and so we didn't get served for a while by our server- Tried their pornstar martini- it wasn't a classic one as they added aperol to the drink which gave it a slight bitter taste It's a big place and they have music at 7pm- cool place to have a drink if in the area"
"Onion rings: super tasty and crispy929 burger: bun was super soft and season perfectlyFrench fries: these were the highlight... amazing."
"Great local brew house. Chill vibes with couches and games if you want. Nice outside tables with heaters if needed. They have food trucks and bands sometimes, a big screen for a big game and trivia Thursday nights. Many beer choices for all styles of drinkers."
"Alloy Brewing Company is just down the road from my bestie's house. So during my most recent Minnesota-venture we made our way there for a couple brews. It just so happened that Alloy Brewing Company was celebrating their anniversary too! Yay!The Space: Located in a strip mall off Coon Rapids Blvd, Alloy Brewing Company features ample parking and a large patio out back. Offering up the perfect space for patrons and food trucks alike. The Brews: During our visit, I sipped on the Raspberry Pineapple Earthshake IPA. Now I'll be the first to admit that I, at the time, wasn't the biggest IPA fan. However, this brew may have been a turning point for me. It was tart and tropically delicious. The Food Trucks: There's quite the variety of food trucks that make their way to Alloy Brewing Company. On this particular day, Smokin' J's BBQ was on the scene and serving up some delicious BBQ, which we gladly noshed on.The Service: The beertenders were super friendly and handled the crowds with ease. I'm glad I finally got to check out Alloy Brewing Company. I know I'll be back!Cheers, Coon Rapids!"
"It was about half full on a Wednesday night when we stopped in and then it was about 98% full 15 minutes later. Only one server. She was really working hard. One bartender, probably one cook and one server - they need more staff. We had to wait to order and the food was about 25 minutes later. Our order was correct and she refilled beverages too. The burgers can be cooked to order and mine was correct at medium rare. I had a burger with mushrooms, cheese and a few other items and my husband had a French Dip. The burger was great. The French Dip was dry and well-done. My husband said the au jus made up for it but I wouldn't order that. Fries were great but the onion rings didn't have many onions inside and most of the breading fell off.Our server was great and I am rounding up because she needs a raise."
"Really enjoyed my time at Flask! I hadn't tried this place before because the menu was kind of small but I see now that I've been missing out! The interior is super cool. Decorated in a bunch of photos and different memorabilia. The drink menu is quite extensive and they do some really cool bourbon flights. I started with a cucumber Collins and I wear this tasted so good and refreshing. I was going to try a different drink but I just had to get a second one. My friend ordered the old fashion. I've never really enjoyed those before but this one was very tasty! Not too harsh. For an appetizer we started with the firecracker shrimp. These were absolutely delicious! And don't let the photo fool you, the portion was amazing. Could definitely be shared between 4 people and everyone would still get around 4-5 shrimp. For dinner I had the Buffalo chicken wrap. I really enjoyed this because it was pressed almost like a panini. It was refreshing to have a wrap that was warm and toasted. My friend had the shrimp street tacos and really enjoyed them. Over this place was pretty great! I'm definitely going to be coming back here soon."
"All right. New location taking over from the old Liquor Lyle's. You ever come to this place? One of the best dive bar happy hour's in the WORLD. 2 for 1's ran from 9am-Noon, 3pm-6pm, & 9pm to midnight. Plus, if a Vikes game was on, it was 2 for 1's. Yes, you literally could have 9 hours of 2 for 1's on a Sunday. Ha! Ha! I wish I had pics of the government block cheese, saltine crackers, sardines, and the chicken wings that were dumped on the silver serving tray in the shape of that fryer basket. Legendary. But back to Litt. They kept a lot of the same shape of Lyle's, painted things and they have so many pinball machines. Plus there is parking in back and the street parking is honestly easier than their old location. And more importantly is that the food is on point. There is a thing happening food wise with five bars and I think LITT does it well. They offer up a smashie burger and it's $2-$4 cheaper than other places and also very good. The dogs are also being served and overall, that little kitchen makes some good grub. There are also booths that utilize the old playfield of a pinball machine. Shorty's (RIP) in Seattle used to have this and their Schtick too was hot dogs. I feel LITT has embraced this dive attitude with better grub and expanded it in a good way. Because honestly? It is about the pinball and having a regular beer. I recommend checking out the Pinball Map app to see what sort of machines are there if pinball is your thing. Also, playing earlier in the day increases your chances of actually hearing the machine."
"Stop #40 on our 2024 Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour A step over into Wisconsin brought us to the fabulous stop. The parking lot is more of a culdesac than a parking lot & is adjacent to a large bike path. The warehouse style that seems to be offensive to some reviewers is, in my opinion, exactly what sets it apart & lifts it up. It's larger, open, relaxed & welcoming. It isn't trying to be anything more than a great space with solid brews at fabulous prices. We were immediately greeted on approaching the bar & given a quick run down. The barkeep also expressed interest in the other places in the passport we had visited & what we liked. Honestly, it felt like a place where you should sip slowly & hang out a while... meet a new friend, maybe one with 4 legs. It simply felt very welcoming and non-pretentious. Out for a bike ride, hike, day drive, lake day, etc and need a drink? Stop in!I was intrigued by the event sign & we may try to make it back to see what voodoo they have in store.ETA: there's also a taco spot inside that we didn't try"
"Love the food, wine, and cozy ambiance. Perfect date night with the hubs or girlfriends!"
"Decided to return here for another go and I'm glad I went ! PLATE has truly stepped up their game, delivering an even better dining experience across the board. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels more inviting and polished, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. One of the most noticeable improvements is the service. The staff is more attentive, knowledgeable, and engaged. . Whether it's recommendations on new menu items or perfectly timed service, they've elevated the overall experience.we had Hannah as our server and she was wonderful ! Suggested different things on the menu . The biggest highlight, though, is the seafood. PLATE has really embraced variety, consistently updating their seafood offerings to keep things fresh and exciting. Their rotating selections ensure there's always something new to try, from creative takes on classic dishes to bold, flavorful combinations that showcase their commitment to quality ingredients. It's clear that PLATE is putting in the effort to refine its menu, atmosphere, and service, making it a must-visit in Prior Lake. If you haven't been in a while, now is the time to check it out! Especially during restaurant week $45 for three course meal with your drink. Worth it !! Must go and try it out !!"
"I've been here several times in the last year since it opened and it's def getting seasoned now, the ambiance has settled in. All of the food is great, [I think, I mean. I'm a veg, so I only eat that stuff, but] wow the Minnesota pot stickers are divine and the salads are great, and there is lots of meat for people who eat that and the desserts and drinks are yummy and so pretty. I can walk here so I love that I can have an elegant dinner within walking distance. All of the servers are great here; tonight I had Brittany, she was adorable and just the right amount of attentive for solo dining on Valentine's Day."
"Really great brewery! I enjoyed a flight so I could try a few of their different drinks. My favorite was the #18- shandy with green tea. They also have good food! Staff went above and beyond to get a soccer game on the TV for us to watch! Definitely will be back!"
"A good friend of mine suggested we meet here for lunch. I had never heard of the Wild Boar and based on initial reviews, honestly I didn't have high expectations. They are kind of off the beaten path in Oakdale. Tucked away just off of 694 and 10th street. It was a nice day so we decided to sit on the patio. They have a nice large patio with plenty of room and it has some nice shaded areas. I decided on the Wild Boar Cheesesteak which was prime rib with swiss cheese and sautéed onions and peppers. That came with Thai cream cheese on a hoagie roll with fries on the side. The fries were Ok, nothing special. The Wild Boar Cheesesteak was pretty darn good. The prime rib was tender, the onions and peppers were cooked perfectly and the thai cream cheese added a nice bite with some creaminess. I've had cheesesteaks from both Pat's and Gino's, no offense to anyone from Philly, this cheesesteak was better. My friend really liked her salad which also looked really good. We'll meet again for lunch and coming back to Wild Boar would be just fine by me."
"The 5-8 Club absolutely lives up to the hype! Their Juicy Lucy is an absolute must-try and truly a masterpiece. The burger was perfectly cooked, with the melted cheese oozing out in every bite so flavorful and satisfying! Be careful the cheese is extremely hot as you bite in! It's hands down one of the best burgers I've had for someone who prefers their burgers black and blue temperatures lol. They take the juicy Lucy and put their own spin on it. We ordered the saucy sally and the roadhouse versions. The sauce on my roadhouse juicy Lucy was absolutely delicious and was great on the burger and the fries. The fries are perfectly crisp and lightly salted. The saucy sally was also pretty good just super messy to eat. So be prepared for a messy meal but a delicious one. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. They really know how to make you feel at home.If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a chance to try the iconic Juicy Lucy, look no further. I can't recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back for more if I'm ever in the area again! They have their own parking lot which makes parking super easy and their prices really are great."
"We were looking for a place that served a good fish fry. Ended up at Nelson Hotel Bar & Grill. What a delight. The cod was so fresh and the twice baked potato was great. One might scratch their head at the ambulance but get past it. The owner will treat you right. Amazing value for your dollar. Wish I took some pictures but I didn't."
"The finest in Mankato, though I prefer the old menu with many small plate options. (They are more a steakhouse now). Food is always delicious (Appetizers, desserts, cocktails, and unique non-steak options.) Top-notch waitstaff and bartenders who are knowledgeable and attentive. Our favorite for special occasions."
"In a word- amazing. This is a must stop and also a must stop again. Food was impeccable and the dessert was to die for. My husband won't stop talking about it. The bread pudding. It's perfection. The stroganoff with spaetzle was so creative and delicious. The sea bass was cooked perfectly with a crisp skin and was just delightful. Don't get me going on the actual serveware. It actually does matter and, they get it so right. Really, you must try this place."
