"The free cheese puffs are great and drinks are generous; however we did get food poisoning there once. But have successfully eaten there a few times. Great impossible burger. Pizza is quite greasy and not that great. So really mixed review."
"Great food, great service. We ordered a pizza and cheesy bread, and the cheesy bread is TDF! Would go back just for that! Need to go back when the patio is open, as it looked inviting, even in the winter."

"Delicious burger and fries! Nice friendly experience. Clean and new environment. Nice not having to leave the Hilton to grab a bite"
"Stopped in after baseball for a quick drink and some grub. We had a group of 8 and the gal that waited on us wasn't even supposed to be working that night. She just happened to be there and decided to help out, props to her! We sat out in the patio area which was pretty nice. They have a pretty good selection and the prices aren't bad either. I had the 21 shrimp platter with texas toast and they let me add fries. Everything was pretty tasty."
"We were looking for a delicious dinner, and we found it at Post! The Post is a former United States Post Office transformed into a roomy, fun dining space. It is located about a block east of the main Hudson Street. The awesome interior had a great roomy vibe. Our server, Charley, was excellent, and our booth was secluded with accompanying tulips and dark wood.We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers; a bowl of chicken with wild rice was tasty, and our Mediterranean salad was outstanding. The main course of Grilled Chicken with parmesan bread crumbs and lemon garlic sauce was charbroiled perfectly, and the baked potato was a terrific complement to the meal. Without question, it is a terrific place to eat, and I highly recommend it."
"We came by for lunch after attending a funeral nearby. The restaurant was super spacious and had tons of parking. One side was a bar, the other side was the diner. We were immediately greeted and sat down. Our waitress brought our the menus and water. She recommended so many different options for us but since we were in Wisconsin we started with Cheesecurds, shared a half slab of ribs and my husband had the burger. The cheese-curds were oooey and gooey and delicious! They came out piping hot! The ribs were recommended as they were just finished being smoked! Their bbq sauce is incredible. It also came with honey mustard, and a choice of soup or salad. We were told everything this made from scratch and that things were made fresh daily! So incredible! The restaurant is a bit tucked away, but the prices are super fair for the portions! Next time we're in town we will definitely be back!"
"Pet friendly patio was a huge plus which is in part why we chose this place. Ourt server was delightful and made great recommendations and brought us a little pup water bowl along with our waters.Food ordered:Onion ringsMacaroni and cheese which is the good old kraft mac n cheese for kiddos.Rigatoni Jambalaya bowlGreek chicken salad with a lot of great vegetables. Green chick peas were tasty.Turkey melt Beet and grapefruit salad. Food selection was pretty decent, but prices were a bit steep. Service was excellent and the deck area was very charming and again, pet friendly which was a huge plus. Great place. Great service!"
"I stopped by here on a roadtrip down the great river road, and the patty melt is one of my favorite burgers I've ever eaten- it was awesome."
"Absolutely devastated to hear of the owner, Mo's passing. We went for brunch on Sunday to pay our respects and show support to this local Edina staple.AMBIANCE: While it doesn't seem big from outside, when you step inside it looks like a cozy local brunch spot with plenty of seating. It's very warm in here, with classic decor and plenty of booths and tables. FOOD: We came on a weekend and I was excited to have a breakfast/brunch menu available until 2pm. Our group got a wide variety of things: A few of us enjoyed the American skillet (hashbrowns instead of fries as the base), one got a thick Cubano sandwich with soup, some got pizza that looked delish, one got a massive Cobb salad that was decked out with toppings, and more. All well-prepared classics at reasonable prices! My heart aches for the coworkers, team, and family members of Mo - he was a light and source of joy at the restaurant and all those he came in contact with, and will be dearly missed by many."
"Top-notch all the way! We sorted out a reservation over Facebook and they had the perfect corner table waiting for us when we arrived. Note: they fill up!I ordered an old fashioned. Showed up as a brandy old fashioned. Ordered another one too. Good cocktail!Appetizer was fried pickles. Neat house-made rendition of a popular app. Their batter is what elevated this one because it had a smattering of dill in it. Really good!Wife and I split an entrée: their 16-oz prime rib. It's a Saturday thing. Kid 2 was with us and had the same but different configuration such that I got to try more of their stuff in one sitting. We split a salad with their house-made blue cheese dressing. Lettuce mix was all fresh, ditto for the cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. The dressing stole the show! Thick and creamy with a generous amount of chunks up to the size of a dime. The kid had their soup of the day: house-smoked pulled pork and black bean soup. She didn't love it but the wife and I demolished most of the cup. Nice tender chunks of pulled pork, tomato-based broth and black beans combined to make one fantastic soup!Prime rib was as expected. Big, beefy flavor, served in beef broth, temp exactly as ordered (medium-rare) plus a generous cut all combined to make it a winner of a dinner! Properly seasoned and prepared while keeping the beef as the star of the show. House-made horseradish sauce was (not surprisingly) incredibly good and packs a punch. Kid's onion tanglers were very good. My baked potato was likewise cooked exactly right. These folks have only owned the place for about 2 years. They are absolutely knocking it out of the park and everything coming out of the kitchen amazes. Can't wait to see what they do with dessert when they add it to the menu!"
"Went to find a late night place to eat after arriving in town and this place surely hit the spot. Our waitress was quick to take our orders and food came out pretty quick. It wasn't too busy even though a game had just ended. You can really go wrong with burgers and fries though!"
"What can I say?! I make it a point to stop at The Pickled Loon every time I am in St Cloud. Not only my favorite restaurant in the area but arguably my favorite in MN. When dive bar meets finer dining. You wouldn't expect much upon arrival of the list low lit rail bar with a few dining tables but when you get the menu and start seeing dishes go by you know you have stumbled upon greatness. After many visits I have tackled most of the menu. In this review I will highlight my last visit. I started with a chicken fajita soup that came on a small bed of rice in the cup. The chicken was perfectly cooked and just fell apart in my mouth. The rice with a nice tough giving it some added texture. Next I had their Shrimp Burger with "Hand pattied shrimp burger topped with: house made cilantro slaw, avocado, lettuce, and roasted garlic aioli. Served on a pretzel bun." While I was skeptical at first I remember that this place has never disappointed and went with it! GOOD FREAKIN CALL! This "burger" was amazing. The shrimp patty was like a delicate crab (or shrimp) cake and the cilantro slaw added a fantastic crunch and acidity balancing the sweetness from the shrimp as well as giving it a little crunch. Throw in avocado and a pretzel bun and you've died and gone to food heaven. Also pictured in this review is the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich. This sandwich had a nice creamy chipotle slaw giving it an excellent smoky flavor along with their Baka white BBQ sauce all on an egg bun. While the slaw and the BBQ sauce gave it a flavorful bite this sandwich wasn't "Tennessee Hot" but I appreciate their spin on it and would recommend to anyone seeking a good chicken sandwich. Don't forget that this place is a BAR. They offer up a small but carefully selected menu of craft tap beers that pair perfect with the food. They also infuse vodkas with a variety of things to make excellent cocktails. I've been told the Bloody Mary is amazing and will be back to try it. I have had the smoked old fashioned with Makers Mark and peanut butter which is amazing. The smoke really brings out the peanut butter and gives the drink a smooth finish. I have also had the Pickle Martini. Yes, PICKLE MARTINI, made with house infused pickle vodka and garnish with, you guessed it, a pickle! I have also had the Pad Thai, Chicken Egg Rolls, Roasted Turkey Poutine, and Looney Mac & Cheese on previous visits. All incredible. It really doesn't get much better than this folks! Whether it's an app, a meal, or just some cocktails or a beer, The Pickled Loon is where it's at!"

Regarding your Cottage Grove location, there is an ongoing problem with the smoking situation on the outdoor space/patio. There have always been NO SMOKING signs posted on all sides, but they are being ignored on a regular basis. In fact, there are even ashtrays on several tables. Why? Why is the policy not being enforced. I am allergic to smoke and was promised the patio is now all non smoking, but again today, I saw two people smoking on the patio on a windy evening as the wind blew their smoke toward my table. I will stop being a customer until this improves. Either remove the signs, or enforce them. At least then I will know it is smoking and I won't sit out there. This is very unfair to the customers to have a policy that is being ignored by not only selfish customers but the staff/managers who let it continue.

I met up with a friend for dinner and heard this place was good. Plus they had a nice patio. They have private small parking lot and some street side parking. We ordered some buffalo chicken wings, lightly battered cauliflowers with ranch and Alfredo pasta with chicken. We split the pasta dish into 2 since sit was a good portion. The buffalo wings were good and crispy. The battered cauliflower dipped into ranch was yummy. The Alfredo pasta was super delicious along with our garlic bread that came with it.Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely come back to try other items from the menu!

Stopped in for a midweek business dinner with friends and Shawn crushed it with the service - even working the bar at the same time! But not only was the service superb but the food was EXCELLENT! While our friends ordered the walleye and steak, my wife ordered the special of the day: a baked AND grilled chicken on a bed of rice with the tastiest curry we've ever had. I ordered the shrimp tacos BUT WAIT ... Substituted with baked walleye - absolutely heavenly along with the crispiest sweet potato tacosDefinitely will be returning again for another amazing meal & great service

Parking 5/5Staff 5/5Food 4/5Beer selection 3/5Building 3/5After an absolutely awful time at Pounders trying to get food, we decided to move a block down the street. There, we found exactly what we were looking for the whole time. A dive bar, with good food, and friendly staff. We walked in, found ample seating right at the bar, the kitchen was willing to keep the fish fry open a little later for one of us. We were able to get awesome food and good beer. The bartender was super friendly, and we were very glad we went there. The bar area is clean, comfortable, and well kept. The beer selection was average, but they did have Castle Danger, and Kona on tap. The burgers were good and so was the fish, first time in a long time I've seen a whole pound burger on a menu. The food was definitely exactly what were hoping for, and the friendly staff, and speed of service was amazing. Next time we're roaming through we'll definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to have dinner in Hudson. I couldn't believe that this place had such high review on Yelp.Well, it's true - super awesome building, super awesome vibe, great service, and most of all: really, really good food! A real gem!Go there.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, since most of the restaurants near Pioneer Days were busy. We had the friendliest server and our food came out quickly. Of course, we had to get their cheese curds (a must in Wisconsin), Fried Pickles, Jen's Reuben, Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Prime Rib Sandwich (special of the day), and Cheese Burger. Everything was delicious!

The old reviews on this place are not accurate. Also, the reviews on The Woods Event Center are also not accurate. This is for the restaurant that is now called B*Merri. First I don't like the name ... ok that is my only real complaint here. They did a really nice remodel of the space and it has a cool up north, cabin, industrial feel that just works. They have a full bar, and a wall of tap beers that you can pour your own samples with a card that tracks your use. This is a fun (but not inexpensive way to try a bunch of interesting beers). I would call the food Gastro Pub, ranging from slightly elevated bar food classics to more refined dinners. There burgers are all good and are pretty unique. I have tried several sandwiches, and liked each of them better than the burgers. The real surprise was a dinner here where the Broiled Walleye was one of the best that I have had and the Braised Short Rib was very tender with a nice Port glaze. Each soup that we have tried has been good and homemade, as are the salad dressings. We will be had to try more things, but wish they were closer since they would become our go to local spot.

We enjoyed the everything hash browns, eggs and toast, all of them were absolutely delicious. It was like $7 in total for my meal, which is so cheap! Our server was quick to greet us and bring us our food as well.I think we've found the place where you can have quality food that's both fast and cheap! Only downside is that it's cash or check only, but they're very much upfront about that (there's a sign on their door that you can't miss) and definitely wasn't a problem.I would definitely go back if I'm in town again.

"$10 entry fee but also require you to buy a $13 drink. The drinks were strrrooooong but kinda small. But what are you gonna do it's a club. The music was great and the girls were so nice and sweet. It was my first time ever going to a cabaret club and I'd definitely come back."
"Healthy takeout breakfast (surprise!)Since having to make a few dietary adjustments, eating out has not been the easiest. However, I was very pleased when my husband brought home breakfast from a local favorite among Lakevilleans: BuckboardHe ordered me a low-sodium mushroom omelette with a hint of cheddar and side of fruit (the menu item below had substitutions, fruit was subbed for toast). Also - this was take-out, so I got to enjoy in the comfort of home. But a beautiful breakfast and one I felt quite comfortable eating. Please note - the restaurant does have the atmosphere of a diner - so, not a very romantic spot. However, the staff will work hard to ensure a solid meal."
"Very reasonably priced and good food. We both had sandwiches. We had them Baja and a Philly and recommend both of them. Good service in a beautiful area!"
"First time here and a great place for breakfast or lunch. Excellent food and service!"
"Easy to find, it is well marked, and connected to the Arrowwood Lodge. We immediately liked the bartender. She was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We also liked the Bloody Marys. They do a great, non-meat, garnish, and serve it up with a small, beer chaser. We just had a couple of drinks, and snacked on some bar food, but found everything to be very tasty, and affordable. I loved the daily specials. The bar is clean, well-kept, and staffed with friendly people. This is a good place to come either for a drink, or for dining even if you aren't staying at the hotel."
"We've been here a few times now, and we absolutely love it! The food is always delicious. We had been here a couple times for brunch and then this time for dinner. The pizza was incredible, we loved the Cajun cheese curds, and the beer selection was great! In the past we have ordered sandwiches and soup and it's always fantastic. Our server was friendly and provided excellent service even on a busy night! The owner comes around to say hello and he's a very kind man who makes sure we are enjoying our meals. This was the first time sitting on the patio and it was so nice to be able to sit outside! The inside is also beautiful and clean. We will keep coming back!"
"let's goooooooo!asian coffee hyfr.BREAKFAST SANDWICHES: Reasonably priced at 5.99 with options of croissants, bread, etc. they also have breakfast burritos f yeah. comes with egg and cheddar cheese. i got the turkey (FRESH THRKEY) and added avocado. sausage roll: get it w cheddar or jalapeño cheddar! delish. will come back for their hoagies (11.99)yuhhhhhh"
"Great food and service. Dark cat - cozy. Priced fairly. Convent but parking can be a challenge."
"This was our first experience in a Minnesota sports bar. The center of the restaurant has a mini ice hockey rink that is full of tables and a wall dedicated to the packers (thought I was in Minnesota!) The menu has all the typical sports bar stuff and most of it was pretty good. I had he Zamboni zinger and it was good. Chicken sandwich with pepper jack on a sourdough bun, good portion and good size for the $$. The Philly was a little disappointing to one of our guys as there wasn't much meat to it, lots of bun but little meat. The fry options were plentiful and I thought it was cool you could have tots for no charge. I had the buffalo fries and for a guy that loves buffalo wings these were a bummer. Skinny and dry, brittle and just so-so. The beer deals were strong and the staff was friendly, if you're in the area and want to catch a game and a bite this would be a decent spot for sure."
"I'd read the reviews and got recommendations. There was nothing wrong, I just wasn't blown away. I think I expected something just a little cozier, maybe a signature dish.My husband said he enjoyed the prime rib. They do make a really good Old Fashion just like an old Wisconsin supper club should."
"Generous portions. We enjoyed dry rub chicken wings, buffalo chicken wrap, wild rice soup, chicken nachos, Bloody Mary. Our waitress was great"
"Pretty standard bowling alley. Nothing special but nothing super negative either. The have quite a few lanes and I went on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overly crowded which was nice. Our lane kept malfunctioning which was quite annoying because someone in our group had to keep going up to tell them every few turns. This made things a bit slower. Some people in the group ordered some food. Artichoke dip was very basic, the wings were a bit soggy, and the pizza was super greasy. I even blotted the pizza but then grease was still running down my hand. I would definitely not go here for the food ever. But, I feel that's standard for most bowling alley's they are not known for the food."
"After a long day of work and basketball. My crew and I were absolutely famished. We poppped from place to place but much to our dismay the places we tried did not serve food. Finally we found ourselves at the Iron horse grill and saloon. Now I will admit the curb appeal doesn't exactly scream "hip new eclectic eatery". But as soon as we entered we received a friendly greeting and seated immediately. Service was quick. The beer flowed like wine and the sweet potatoes were ~exquisite~. If you like good food, good people and a good time than the Iron Horse is the place for you. 10/10 would eat again."
"Food, my husband had the daily special for an 8 oz sirloin and baked potato for )14.95. I had the Romaine wraps ( cashew chicken) for my dinner. I was impressed with the size of my husband's steak...very nice. My lettuce wraps were fantastic. Great flavor, and enough lettuce to be able to completely polish off the cashew chicken. I was full. Out wait staff was attentive and we will definitely be back."
"Went to Patrick's on 3rd after reading other yelp reviews, and we were also in town for the MNMakerFair at the fairgrounds. We sat in the bar area and the bartender told us about some beers that we had questions on and then he said go ahead and sit at a table I'll come to you. I love it when the bartenders can come out from behind the bar! We ordered the guinness battered fish taco's and the wings. The taco's were delicious and the fish was crunchy, loved the sauce that they put on them. We ordered a dry rub wing and they came out hot and delicious. There is nothing worse than when your food is up and it sits under that heat lamp, so glad to say these were hot! The place was lively with local folks and you can tell this is a local hangout. John the bartender was friendly and came back several times to take our drink orders, we had the surly "damian" which was delicious. We also tried a few other beers. What a great atmosphere this place has, we will definately be back."
"Stopped for a late dinner on a Saturday, first impressions when walking in was it was SO loud. We were seated at a nice corner booth and a server came by our table shortly. We ordered several apps to share between our group, my favorite was the Nashville chicken sliders. They were HOT but I liked them. The other apps we tried were good, Szechuan green beans, burger sliders, and wings. I'd recommend if your looking for a local watering hole with good bar food."
"Celebrated my dad's birthday here along with a wedding going on and many other people- it was a very busy night for the restaurant. Smaller roof top patio and an oddly placed bathroom.Service was excellentAtmosphere very loud, but expected given how busy they were. Food was excellent. Ordered the oriental chicken salad which was delicious and hearty for a salad.Onion rings- were gigantic and battered which are the best. I don't like the non beer battered crunchy type. These were great.Other people ordered shrimp, pasta, steaks all said to be very good. Nice little gem of a place in White Bear Lake."
"We had a great time eating outside & enjoying the weather on the patio overlooking the river. This is my first time visiting family in Hudson and I love this little town already. The patio tables are cute with moose prints and new looking umbrellas. Service was beyond excellent and the food came out fast, fresh, hot,and cooked to order. My niece and her husband have dined here several times and I will definitely come back next time I visit!"
"We just ate our delicious dinner from Brewskie's tonight. It was our first time ordering from there and it was so good! I had the fish basket with their pub style potatoes and the potatoes were soooo good! I grabbed a hamburger bun when I got home and turned my 2 pieces of fish into a fish sandwich with the two sauces they provided and it was exactly what I wanted! The taste was perfect mixing the two sauces. My Husband ordered the meat lovers pizza minus sausage and added mushrooms.....the pizza tastes like it was either cooked on a grill or fire oven......it was amazing. We can't wait to go back and try their other menu items! (I didn't get a pic of my fish meal because I devoured it in the car on the way home lol)"
"Tried breakfast, finally. The service is always good and pretty prompt at the PG. I'll say the omelette was hearty, but not quite what I was expecting. I'm pretty sure they used Italian sausage in it, so that was different and all the cheese seemed to be on top and none in the omelette. The toast was subpar, but the hash browns were good. I'd go back because I'd like to try other breakfast items."
"The Cedar Creek Inn is the original dive bar out in the Wisconsin countryside. They just totally remodeled the inside and it really is nice. All new wood walls and ceilings, vaulted ceilings, new speaker system, new floors, new bathrooms, but surprisingly the same cheap price on drinks. Service is what you'd expect from small town Wisconsin, friendly and attentive. Lots of regulars here. Two tap beers and a mixed drink for under $9 is ridiculously cheap. Yet the drink was strong and the mugs were pulled from the freezer so they are nice and frosty. We've had breakfast here quite a few times and it was rather good. Definitely not the best in town, but home cooked, hot off the griddle, big portions, and cheap. They have real good late night frozen pizzas that hit the spot after a few pitchers of beer. A lot of the food has that Wisconsin theme of meat, meat, cheese, meat, and brats. This place would normally be a 2-3 star joint, but the recent efforts on remodeling really turn it up a few notches. The bartender says they will be remodeling the exterior also. In the nice months, they have a porch and deck to sit out and have your meal and drinks while listening to the creek bubble on by. Picnic tables out on the back lawn by the creek too. Some nights they start a bonfire. Just a cool small town America bar that serves cheap drinks, pretty good food, and has a cool Wisconsin atmosphere. Oh yeah, and 1919 Root Beer on tap served in a frosty mug makes me really, really happy."
"This place is good and they deserve a good rating. It's incredible to see some of the bizarre reviews on here and the picky BS that some are complaining about. The sound wasn't turned up enough for some guy on some random televised game so he leaves a one star rating? WTF?? What a douche. My wife and I live in Phoenix and were in town for our daughter's wedding and we loved discovering this small town of Glencoe. Everybody was super friendly and accommodating and we fell in love with this small slice of real Americana. We tried a few other restaurants, coffee shops, and bars that were really good but we tend to like darker beers so it was great to discover the Main Street Sports Bar and Grill that has some of our favorites on tap. The service was top-notch and the servers were super friendly. The beer selection was huge, the beer was really cold, the atmosphere was great and the prices were pretty reasonable. There are at least 10 televisions running sports continually and there's memorabilia everywhere from Minnesota teams of course. The cheese curds were great, pizza is good, the wings are good also. The place deserves local support and good reviews - so that people from out of town are not scared away over some petty, ridiculous complaint. Keep up the great work you guys."
"Our group of four chose to eat at the bar as none of us were getting the soup & salad bar with our meals. The service was great and we really enjoyed the food. Wednesday in Wisconsin means chicken wings, and three of us went with the traditional wings and we all agreed that they had wonderful flavor and were cooked just right; the french fries that came with the meal were nice and crispy.I would definitely recommend a trip to the soup and salad bar (I've had it in the past and they have a wide variety of options, and everything is fresh). The only thing that keeps this place from being 5 stars is that the dining room and tables/seating could use an update."
