The store is now called Lunds Byerlys. This store is the closest to my house. The prices are a little higher, but they have great sales. The extras are a good deal too. Today I spent over $10 and got a 24 pack of their water for $1.99 valid memorial weekend only. They bag your groceries and put rubber bands around eggs and raspberries. There is a drive thru to pick up your groceries. Lunds Byerlys are kinda upscale. This grocery store had a recent remodel but it still is not as fancy as Plymouth and other locations. I guess you pay extra having a grocery store so close by.

I am a frugal shopper. I don't waste my hard earned dollars on frivolous items. Granted Byerly's has some top notch produce, deli, sea food and meat counters. However, when you charge three times the price for simple staple items it's unacceptable. Everything is over priced except some deals they have. It's just down right rude and greedy to take someone's hard earned money and charge 3-4 times the price for most every common item. It's sad to see elderly people shop here and have their social security allowance gobbled up by these pretentious owners.

My favorite time of day to visit Byerly's is about 2 pm.....the lunch crowd has evacuated and the dinner shoppers have not yet realized just how last-minute their shopping has gotten ;)I love to sample the items from the deli case, they have some unique salads and hot entrees, too....plus, they are AWESOME at checking ingredients for me with all my allergens to be aware of. The holiday menus are always a good bet for the cost and the lunch bar choices make for a nice alternative to fast food in the Twin Cities. On my last grocery run, I was lucky enough to find gluten-free vanilla extract for some sweet baked goods, a great selection of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc wines, and several varieties of dilled crudités (in jars in kosher/ condiment aisles) to lay out with cheeses for a small soirée I threw together. All I needed to add was the Gavin DeGraw music and the palettes were contented that afternoon :)Cheers to Byerly's!

Did you know Minnesota is known for its wild rice? Did you also know that Byerly's is known for making the best wild rice soup in the region? The latter is false as general knowledge, but true in my heart. I really like the wild rice soup here. I'm talking the kind served in a vat-like pot at the end of the salad bar. It's often thick and hearty with many grains in it. yum. This is just one of the many "bars" at Byerly's. There is an olive and dessert bar, just to name a couple. This location also has other amenities including a Caribou (another Minnesota staple) and a bank.I like that Byerly's is a fancy store but doesn't pretend to be low-key, like Whole Foods. You're paying a fair amount for products, but you do so in an environment that feels worth it. The place is clean and the service good. 5 stars.

We've gone to various Byerly's over the years but this one is above and beyond the best store we've ever been at. It's obvious that management takes pride in the staff, as they are very friendly and eager to help out.Cub Foods and Target may have cheaper prices but they don't match the quality of the produce at this Byerly's. We also appreciate the growing stock of gluten-free food. Come here to experience exactly how a good store should be run -- and get some food while you're at it! ;)

Not sure how it happened, but I have found myself doing more and more of my grocery shopping at Byerly's. I think it is partly due to their amazing bakery and awesome bread... But I also seem to enjoy the experience more. The store is smaller than your typical big box grocery stores. Today in particular was awesome... Granted it is Christmas Eve... I was amazed by the number of people they had working that were there to help people find what they needed for the last-minute items... And the drive up grocery pick up lane is awesome... Especially in the snow and when the parking lot might be a little slippery.

Although they concoct wonderful food the area they set aside for customers is nearly unattended, drafty and catch as catch can.

Ok here's the beef on Byerlys- they have good beef! I said it. Seafood and meat are really good an mostly fresh. Make sure you check the sign for the fish as it can be flash frozen which I personally feel affects the flavor. Deli is nice and the olive bar is the bomb (especially when they have blue cheese stuffed ones in stock) Oh and who doesn't like carpet underfoot while shopping as well as the ability to pickup your groceries curbside. The only draw back is the price on SOME items. If they didn't make me go to Target for reasonably priced items I would shop here or the Co Op full time.

This is my hands down favorite grocery store . If it is on their shelf it is the freshest and highest quality. But what really makes this place the best are the people. Not just pleasant but they are professionally knowledgeable about recipes and how to prepare what they sell. The butchers are the real deal, they remind me of the butchers in Chicago that were always the go to guys for what meat to use and how to cook it, and they have hard to find cuts. The deli staff follows suit, Slicing meat as requested and providing advise as needed. This Byerly's is the best

I have always hated Byerly's because he have nothing of interest to me and are very expensive. I went for a disabled friend this week and saw a huge sign for a sale on peaches, but at checkout they wanted full price. The hot food area was largely empty, but they would restock if I wanted to wait around. The store is never really open until something life 11:00 AM and they quit stocking a brand of bread I like for a long time because some idiot caused problems with the vendor. I just got back from Bloomington and Fresh Thyme and Trader Joe's where I shop. Lunds was great decades ago but now they are tied to Byerly's the sort of store that can only exist in Minneapolis
