Onion Burger
That's just a great burger. Good saltiness. Tangy pickles. Maybe could use a burger sauce.

This might be the perfect neighborhood dive bar. Great food, not great bar food, just great food. Seriously good burgers and the breakfast menu is solid. The House burger with it's two beautifully smashed patties is just about perfect. On my most recent trip I got the Dry Rub Wings with house made ranch and blue cheese.....loved them! My go to breakfast is the Huevos Rancheros but the Breakfast Burrito is seriously good. The diamond in the rough on this menu is the Lobster Roll! If you're in the mood for a Lobster Roll do not skip it! The drinks are solid, good pour and are at a fair price. Always good service and a decent patio is definitely worth a mention. Parking is neighborhood street parking but I've never walked more than a block. From Pull Tabs to Trivia and Karaoke Burger Dive has it.

We tried this place this weekend because they had good yelp reviews. I will say they had some good and some bad moments.First, this is a dive bar as titled and so it had a fun feel to it. We were able to sit right away and order. The food took a decent amount of time to come out (about 25 minutes). We weren't in a hurry so we were ok with that. When the food came the tots and fries were cold. Flavor was good but for sure done well before the burgers and sat for a bit.Burgers however were good. They were great flavor, hot and made up for the fact the fries and tots were cold. We did the house burger and wedge burger. We would recommend both. The burger is why I will give 4 stars instead of 3.Service was friendly but not attentive. The server took our order, brought our food and then much later brought our check. No check-ins while we ate and no offers for refills on drinks. She was very busy so I attribute it to that.Again, the burger was good and it's a cute dive bar. I think we had a few off things but the burger made up for it (that's why we went in the first place).

Visited Burger Dive a couple of weeks ago at the recommendation of friends. Best onion rings I have had in a really long time. Their fries are addicting, too. I ordered a basic burger, and it wasn't bad, but I preferred the apps over the burger. For-sure dive vibe, very nice servers, bartender was working their buns off. I'd come back and order an onion ring basket in a heartbeat (and I 100% would not share).

Came here for the first time for trivia tonight, and will definitely be back! It's a smaller space (very much dive-bar style--maybe 15 or so tables plus the bar) which I personally love for trivia. It was pretty busy when we went but our server Amy was super attentive and had great recommendations! We got the jalapeño cheese curds ($11) which were super fresh and delicious--I *personally* would've liked a bit more jalapeño on there because I'm a pepper fiend and their pickled jalapeños were delicious, but it was still excellent as-is. We also got the chicken strip basket ($13) which was just as hot and fresh as the curds--and they use a nice lighter batter so you really get the seasoning and the juiciness of the chicken rather than just a mouthful of breading in every bite. I thought the fries tasted particularly fresh and potato-y in a way that I've only ever tasted when I make fries at home, and you could really taste the dill in the house ranch, which I love. Some of the most solid bar food I've had in the cities--if you're looking for a hot, fresh, and pleasantly greasy bar meal, this place is literally perfect.

The Burger Dive is on a corner off Randolph in St. Paul. It's a cute neighborhood place, that feels like a good mix of regulars and newbies, like me! We ordered the chicken wings for a starter and the were delicious. Hot, crispy, with good seasoning. For dinner I had the patty melt. I love patty melts, but this one was ok. It tasted very sweet, probably from the onions or onion jam? The bread and burger itself were great. I just wasn't expecting it to taste so sweet. Same with the onion dip. Not a fan. The onion rings and fries were great! Overall, it's a fun spot to hang with friends. I'd return for a different menu option. Service was good.

Solid spot for a beer and a burger. Came in with a group of friends on a friday night. They were having karaoke. It was a great night. Drinks are cheap, bar food is standard. Won big in pull tabs so that was good :) Highly recommend for a solid dive bar experience

The wings here are amazing! Crispy and good size wings. The ambiance is also fun, they have karaoke and it has a little retro feel to it.

This is a good place to stop for a burger and a beer! The menu has a pretty good spread of appetizers (their pierogis are great), burgers, and sides to add. They also offer a couple other sandwich options and their house chili. I stopped earlier this week with a friend for lunch and we had a good meal including their classic burger and chicken strips with a jack and coke to wash it down. At night time it's often close to full but lunch time it was easy to get a bar spot and the majority of tables were open. Service was sort of slow with us having to ask for a box and our tab by getting the bartenders attention each time - she also didn't check in on how the food was, etc. but it's a dive bar so not necessarily expected. The food was good - their chicken strips are surprisingly great but the prices are a bit high ($7.50 for a jack and coke + $13 for most of their burgers with chips). Their burgers are very standard but good and decently sized. They currently have some seasonal decor up which is super cute as well! We like this place and will continue to frequent because it's so close!

We were in the neighborhood and craving a good ol' burger and we were so happy to be near Bay Street Burger Dive! The space is clean and open and has several booths along with tables in the main dining space. Lots of seats around the bar too if you're looking for more of the full dive bar banter with a bartender. Service was friendly and efficient. My husband had the Wedge Burger which is a burger version of the salad and quite good - great Bleu cheese flavor! I had their classic burger and added bacon and peanut butter - YUM! Recommend that combo. And my son dined on the kids cheeseburger which was normal size but just with one patty and he loved it.Their fries looked like they'd need more time in the crisper, but they were perfectly seasoned and crispy! We've been craving the burgers ever since we stopped in so we'll for sure visit again when we're in the area, or make a special trip just to eat them against
