My wife, daughter and I went here with some of my relatives while on vacation in October. We went on a hay ride. It was very enjoyable and some nice scenery. I love seeing the leaves changing colors on the trees. Everyone who was able to make it had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.

TRAIL RIDE ONLY!I've been riding horses off and on for over 50 years. Not a terrific rider, but mediocre. I LOVE horses! My granddaughter has been taking lessons ( not Here) for 3 years. She is 9 now. So she had to take last summer off from lessons, so I scheduled a trail ride for us last fall. I was really impressed with the facility, and all the wonderful kid programs. It looked promising! But then, a gal brought up our steeds. What, are you kidding me? My granddaughter's horse was a fine looking medium sized horse with a good disposition and very easy for her to ride. My horse on the other hand, was a very very old, unkept sad horse. Like, 1 hoof in the grave and 3 on banana peels. It wasn't even proportioned correctly. So we get out on the trail, which wasn't all that exciting and interesting, and sure enough my poor old gray horse couldn't keep up. Even urging her on only resulted in 5 or 6 steps that were quicker, then back to slow. Once our guide & granddaughter had to wait for me to catch up. The guide said they always have to wait for her to catch up. I finally gave up and resigned myself to an excruciating ride. To add insult to injury, our gal was very curt with me when I wasn't holding the reins as she had instructed. I could have been on that horse bareback with a halter. Now, I figure that I'm never going to gallop a horse again, but jeez, this was ridiculous. That poor horse was in no condition to be a trail horse anymore.I am INSULTED that I was put on that poor horse. WORST BORING TRAIL RIDE EVER

We came here last weekend for Groupon on sleigh ride. The weather was a little chilly and it was nice that Amanda had some blankets to cover over our coats. The trails were nice and got to see some wildlife like deer running in the woods. We were really surprised at how many horses are here. If my wife is brave enough, then maybe we can do a trail ride on horse back. Otherwise, this was a nice Valentine's Day away from Twin Cities over the weekend.

Great location, friendly staff, safe activities (even for young/novice riders) and lots of horse-related activities to choose from. It seems like they have something for just about everyone- pony rides for the little ones, trail rides and lessons for kids through adults, hay (or sleigh!) rides that are prefect for groups and even therapeutic programs! I was really impressed at the variety that was offered.

Bunker Park Stable is the total package! The horses are experienced, friendly, SAFE and form what I could tell.....healthy! The trail guides are knowledgable and informative, polite and observant. They answer questions that the riders have and give helpful advice/guidance when requested or indicated. The landscape of the trail is very pretty and is the home of a variety of wildlife that the riders can appreciate along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on their trail ride!

This is a great place for a trail ride. The staff is friendly, the ride is great and the horses are calm. This is the second time I have taken a trail ride with my family and it's been great.
