Bunker Beach Water Park

We came back this season and had a better experience than the last. One of the slides was closed, but overall, the lines went very fast and we found chairs to use easily.Typical water park experience for fun. The lazy river got a little too crowded to enjoy at times due to those that walk and push their way through.Had a better experience with food service this time, though still pretty inefficient. We ordered pizzas and was told it would be 30-40 min for 3 pizzas. We received a buzzer and went back for it when it was ready. As I picked it up, there was another woman there complaining about hers not being done all the way and was going to have to wait another 20-30 min for a new one. I was happy to see all 3 of our pizzas were cooked and enjoyed by all.Also had food from the other concessions, the GF bun was fresher this time around and had to wait 25 min for a veggie burger that I had to keep running back to check on until I asked if the could hollar out the side window when it was done. A nice woman delivered it to me but only after my fries blew away in the wind one of the times I got up to check on my burger.Overpriced food aside with "meh" service, it was a great day we all enjoyed. We came back a second day with some relatives another day and it was less crowded on a Tuesday. We would visit again. Not too crazy at $20 to get in compared to other places.

Love Cardio Club. Best workout around!!They could be better with communication about what lines to be in for cash payment, Tot Time or even what lines will be open. They need to train the workers better to answer basic question. The life guards need to be better or more confident about enforcing the rules-ages of participants at Cardio, people stopping in the lazy loop for drinks.....why post rules if they aren't enforced!? Also they closed a few times this year when there didn't appear to be a reason for it.

Very busy and pack. Lots of water activities to choose from but only thing is the price.. if you have more than 4 people get the cabana it'll be worth it and save you money.. other than that it's a great spot to cool down in a hot summer day.

Please note, only reviewing the time that Cardio Club is held. I have not been here during regular hours. I really enjoy Cardio Club here. People poo-poo the lazy river resistance workout, but my legs would disagree with those naysayers. I am always tired and my legs have enjoyed a good workout after an hour or two here. The nice thing is the rest of the pool isn't open yet to the public (at least on weekends) when this is going, so it's relatively quiet. Also, a good price for admission ($4).The negatives: lockers aren't open during Cardio Club so you leave your belongings out. At least most people seemed to be pretty honest, all of my stuff was still there. The bathrooms are also NASTY. I would not walk around without shoes on (not that I usually do anyway).

Love Bunker Beach...I only wish that at the admission kiosks that they would update the signs for the kinds of payment each window provides: Passes/Cash/Credit Cards. After standing in the sun & heat in the "General Admission" line with cash, told that this window took credit cards ONLY. The placards could be changed, depending on staffing. Just saying...

The Waterpark itself was ok...... Get there early, they DO NOT have adequate parking, we had to park quite far. Last but not least, I waited over an hour for my food. They have all teens working the cafe without supervision. Teens need instruction and supervision. I don't blame the teens, I blame the management. It was a horrible experience..... I'm giving you a 2 because of the cafe, and there was no instruction on how to get to the park once we entered the park grounds. If you're not going to provide good service, you need to allow guests to bring their own food in. Something to think about:1. The money you lost because of the people that left the line.2. The money you lost for people not entering the line because it was long and clearly not moving. 3. The money you lost because people did not RE-ENTER the line for seconds.Pull it together.......

I always have wonderful experience with Bunker Beach from previous visits. But on June 19th 2024 in particular my group had a 2/10 experience. First, the wave pool was upsetting. But we brushed it off since we understood it was for maintenance. Our day was going good until we hit Rocky Bay, swimming with our goggles. As you're swimming, you're supposed to hold your breath under water. The whistle was blown multiple times about holding breaths but we didn't know if it was towards us since there were multiple groups also holding their breaths. One person from my group was swimming and as they got up, she had blew her whistle again. I looked at her with confusion because the whistle from the same person had been blown once again, at this point we knew all the times she previously blown the whistle, were only towards us. She said "Stop doing that" and out of utter confusion I had said "Doing what?", She had replied with "Stop holding your breath like that". There were no forceful actions to consciously hold our breaths to create harm to us or others. It is not like we can breathe under water. I get that it could've been a safety hazard but lifeguards need to mind their own business if I'm not drowning or causing a ruckus to the crowd. It was honestly unnecessary and ruined the whole day for us. I also read the rules about Rocky Bay and nothing about holding breaths were prohibited. Thank you for a shallow day at Bunker Beach.

This place is awesome. The wave pool is so fun but the only thing I don't like that much is you can't have goggles with nosepieces... but otherwise, this is a great place

It's alright, just a fun place to hang with friends. Slides are nothing special. Food is really mid. But if you're looking for a place to spend an afternoon, the wave pool is great and the vibe is good.

Simple review - I personally witnessed a piece of fecal matter in the pool. My family and I got out of the pool and left. I contacted management regarding this and they said it was against their policy to give refunds or give free passes. Really? There was a piece of sh*t in the pool and management did nothing! Then they wont even give us a refund or at the very least free passes? Dirty gross pool and horrible management. Go somewhere else...unless you like being treated like the crap thats in their pool water.
