Outside of Buffalo nickel
View looking in from the front entry.
Another dealer space.
Back to the 1st floor again - some canned food - still no antiques!
Looks promising - a large hay barn with a giant "ANTIQUES" sign.
Look for the Buffalo water tower and you'll find this business.
Hours of operation, front entry door.
Outside.
View from the side.
Another dealers space at the Buffalo Nickel.
I finally found some antique Red Wing crocks hiding in a back corner!
Every barn needs a cow.
Front desk and checkout area.

Still can't find any antiques - getting tired of walking and smelling potpourri!
Where are the antiques?!
Still can't find any antiques!
Is this an antique? I don't think so!
A mediocre collection of non-antiques downstairs - maybe I can find some on the 2nd floor?

This wonderful gem of a place I stumbled across and man it did not disappoint. The only draw back is the antiques are mixed in with craft and new stuff so you REALLY gotta sift and look over. When checking out ask for "Emmett" he's the BEST

Upon searching for antique stores in the area we thought we'd stop by this one.. I'd definitely start by saying this is more of a boutique style store than a antique mall. We were hoping once we went up stairs we'd find the gold. However just more decorations and handmade goodies, with a slight mix of antique items. However don't get me wrong the handmade items and decorations were also great. We did manage to find a antique tackle box- perfect for Father's Day coming up! So that's a big plus. Caramels were also divine! To sum it up, you may find some hidden gems in here if you search enough. But a great place to get some farmhouse decor, homemade gifts, and some custom items. The staff is also wonderful. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area.

I really hate this place - I've never seen such a huge "antique market" packed with so many thousands of things that aren't antiques!OMG, this joint sucks so much as an antique store. I wouldn't be so irritated with this business if they removed the 50 foot sign on the side of their building that says "antiques". And I wouldn't be so upset if they changed the description on all of the business descriptions and search engines and removed the words "antique market" or "antique mall" or the word "antique" in general. The huge barn reeks of potpourri and is lit in every nook & cranny with tons of sparkly Christmas lights! You get the idea. If you want to look at hundreds of "up-cycled" items - then this place is for you. If you want to look at nick-nacks and figurines - then this place is for you. If you want to look at hand-made preserves, sweets, organic soap, and scented candles - then this place if for you. But don't come here if you're looking for anything that can be called an "antique".As an antique store with a giant "ANTIQUES" sign that you can see from 10 miles away, I rate these guys 1 star. If they change their name to something like "The Nick Nack Nickle" or "Upcycle Universe" or "Home Décor Heaven"...I might give them 3 or 4 stars. But I wouldn't stop in because that isn't my thing. I'm angry that they misled me into driving to this building. The coolest antique here is the old hay barn. Other than that, forget it. I'd rather see a barn that still has hay on the top and a milking parlor on the bottom. On the positive side, my buddy bought a plate of homemade peanut bars that we munched on while driving back to the Twin Cities. -Daddy Maxx Retro

Let me start by saying this place is nice but it represents a narrow style. Cottage farm house is this places' jam. It's all staged and orchestrated. You can't even see prices. This place isn't about the individual finds, rather a continuing theme. I did score a great used leather purse, a satchel that is making my car smell divine and 3 homemade Carmel's that made me wish I had bought a million more. It's cute, has a great public restroom and super tasty Carmel's. I managed to avoid sharing the 3 Carmel's I bought, thank goodness. This is a great spot for those riding the home decor theme of shabby chic, cottage, or farmhouse style fashion train. The upstairs area with the used clothes and handbags is cool, especially if you score a treasure. If you stop get the Carmel's, especially the coffee flavored one and hit the bathroom, just in case and cuz it's nice.

What better place to spend an afternoon than this huge barn all the way out in Buffalo? This is a large two level barn full of various handmade, vintage/antique and repurposed items from multiple vendors. Both levels display collections styled in unique vingnettes. You can easily spend time walking around and find one of a kind gifts for friends or yourself. This would be a fun place to do some Christmas shopping in the winter. Prices vary by different vendor but seemed reasonable for this kind of merchandise.

I traveled from North St. Paul to this 'antique mall' - definitely wouldn't call this place an antique mall. It's around 80% up-cycled furniture, signs, home decor, soaps, candy, Minnesota clothing, etc. Probably 20% vintage things which, when you're traveling an hour and then some to go to an "ANTIQUE MALL", is pretty disappointing. Misleading to say the least. Prices were OK. Staff were less than friendly. Definitely wouldn't go back.

Cute place, nicely arranged. More upcycled than antique. Some prices were high, some reasonable. Came out with a bag full.

Love this place! It's huge, and they always have a ton of neat stuff. My favorite part is that each little "room" has a theme, for instance they will organize by color, decor style, and brands (like Coke products). It makes it very easy to find the type of antiques you are interested in and it's also very cute! However I do find that some prices are a tad high.

It was cute inside with some antique items and vintage and new items but I didn't have any luck. Difficult to walk through! Be careful. Cracks and inclines and bumps etc. they did a nice job with the orange tape to help warn you.

I have been shopping at Buffalo Nickel Antique Mall since 2004, and I have to say it is truly my favorite place in the Twin Cities and always my happy place. When walking in the front door the ambience and smells catch you by surprise as the beauty and homey smell is not typical of a "barn."Each and every part of the barn is efficiently used by most vendors, with weekly changes or additions to their spot. A great mix of antique, repurposed, handmade, and oddly unique items are found through out this barn. From industrial, farm house, shabby, primitive, antique, and trendy all looks are represented at Buffalo Nickel. What an incredible experience, I promise you will go home with a ton of decorating ideas!!! Ohhhh and do you need holiday decorating ideas? WOWZZZZZA, this is he place for you.
