Brine's Market & Deli

In town for Hockey decided to swing by and grab a couple sandwiches late afternoon. The store was really well organized and clean. Deli counter attendant was quick and making our sandwiches and friendly. The sandwich was delicious, turkey with chipotle aïoli and jalapeños, can't remember the name, but a great value at $5.99. We'll definitely stop back the next time we're in the area.The spotlight of our trip today was my interaction with Faith at the cash register. You can tell when someone really enjoys their job, and she was just that. Super friendly, welcoming, even service with a smile (which is rare these days). We love supporting local businesses and it is because of people just like Faith who enjoy interacting with the public that makes these experiences so memorable.

I'm sorry, a lot of people like this place. I guess I am just not one of the lucky ones who actually receive friendly knowledgeable help (it can't be their prices, they are one of the most expensive places in town..I have given them 3 times to rectify how bad the help has gotten here. Either I have the worse luck in the world, or kids these days don't know how to be polite. At any rate, they have permanently lost my business. I will drive the 7 miles to and from Hudson so I can buy my meat from a place where they don't treat me like I am an inconvenience or that I am asking for too much when all I want is a goddamn pound of Thurenger.

Food: Good meat but their sandwiches aren't all that greatService: Typically great, depends who you getAmbiance: not bad, a bit rustic and the current construction does make it a bit harder to navigate.

Over-the-top, crazy good deli! We stop in about once a month to stock up on specialty items. Recently we purchased freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses to bring to family caring for someone in hospice and they truly enjoyed the excellent food! You can also just stop in for lunches to go or bring home meat for grilling! Something for everyone here! Thank you

This place is the best! They have high quality meats and cheeses and specialty oils, crackers and other items. Their deli is AMAZING! The salads are all terrific...(I especially recommend the tomatoes & basil, if you are a caprese lover. The oil is fantastic and the tomatoes and mozzarella balls are high quality.)Overall, 3 thumbs up, if I had 3.

It is true Brine's is a Stillwater institution. As a kid going to the Brine's Meat Market and Restaurant in Downtown Stillwater (that location is now the Brine's Bar and Restaurant) the building and first floor had a such a distinct smell that would transcend you back in time.. The original Brine's building burned long ago and it was so sad. They also made the best sandwiches and had the BEST buns on the planet.The newer location is newer, updated and still makes sandwiches. Every-time I'm in Stillwater visiting friends - Brine's is one of my first stops! It is a must visit for their sandwiches, deli, and other specialty products.

I have been going to Brines for 30+ years. I have always received quality products & great service. They were sold about a year ago & haven't noticed any changes. A couple of weeks ago I got a piece of meat that i felt wasn't up to their quality standards. I contacted them and they promptly made it right.Superior customer service. Bravo!

Brine's is my go to spot. I go there at least once a week to get a sandwich. Great workers and great food you can get everything here! I seen a negative review saying the hours are a joke because they open at 9 and because of that you can't have a picnic... simply just plan a day ahead! Absolutely love this spot I would 100% recommend to everyone weather you're looking for a little dish of cold pasta or a few pounds of quality beef, this is your place!

Brine's weekend hours are a joke! They don't open until 9:00 am, so forget getting picnic food if your heading for the lake. On Memorial weekend they close at 5:00 PM! If you are planning any activities and want great quality food, go to Len's as they are open 7-9 every day.

I have been coming here for about 4 years.I do think the meat department has good products.Butchers not so nice.On way more than one occasion I have seen the butchers be not so great as far as friendly customer service.The last time I was there I asked if I could have a chunk of top sirloin cut into 4 inch slabs for beef jerky. The butcher helping me (one I havent seen before) said sure.He goes into the back. A different butcher, the older guy with salt and pepper hair hands me a an uncut roast. I said that I mentioned to the other butcher that I would like it cut. He says to me, you should of told me and threw the meat down on the table!!He leaves, comes back with a different piece of meat and I asked him if he could cut it against the grain, he rudely says, "There is no grain."This butcher in the past has had bad custormer service along with the other guy the has salt and pepper hair.Don't think I will be back.
