We have had 3 kids attend Bright Prospects over the course of 7 years and we are so grateful for the amazing experience we've had. The teachers provide such a wonderful learning environment, they truly care about the kids, and honestly it feels like they have become part of our family! The co op nature of the school provides lots of opportunities to build community with the other families. We love the art projects, science activities, play based learning, all class drama play performances and the family camping trips! We'd highly recommend this school!

Our daughter has truly blossomed since starting preschool here! The teachers are so knowledgeable and experienced, they have provided a welcoming and safe place for her to play and learn. The co-op experience has been great too, we feel like we really understand the program, have a voice, and are invested in our daughters learning and care. I recommend Bright Prospects to all of my parent friends!

Cannot recommend this school highly enough. The teachers are incredible - highly experienced, deeply caring, creative, kind, trustworthy and fun. The co-op model creates a supportive community for the whole family, and makes the tuition incredibly affordable. We love the play-based curriculum, the amazing art projects the kids do, and all the optional "extras" like pot-lucks, camping trips and summer playground meet-ups. The environment is welcoming and affirming of all types of diversity. Parents and teachers work together to set policies and make decisions for the school. This school is truly a gem, and is a particularly good fit for families who are seeking community and wanting to be more actively involved in their kids' schooling.

Bright Prospects Cooperative Preschool is an incredible place. The curriculum is engaging, the teachers are skilled, the classroom is magical and the community is supportive. We were apprehensive about sending our son to a cooperative preschool as two working parents unfamiliar with the model, but it has continued to exceed our expectations. The teachers encourage curiosity, imagination, and critical thinking. Students feel ownership of their classroom as they have responsibilities and independence in tasks is encouraged. Mixed ages encourage peer modeling and learning, as well as families to stay with the preschool for multiple years. The longer we are part of Bright Prospects, the more my family feels connected, supported, and attached to the school, teachers, and community. We have watched our son's confidence soar and thirst for learning grow immensely. The teachers are so creative and fun- my son is so excited to tell me each day about the experiments, investigations, and cleaning parties! I am an early-childhood teacher myself and would highly recommend this school to any and all families, especially those seeking an engaging early childhood curriculum that supports independence, autonomy, relationship-building, as well as problem-solving skills.

Something that makes Bright Prospects stand out is their co-op model. When we chose to have our children attend Bright Prospects, we were also choosing to be more involved in our children's education and growth, and being invested in the outcomes and decisions the school makes. Each parent gets time in the room, to see and participate first hand with how our kids are learning and growing. It becomes so meaningful, especially because transitioning to preschool is a first for parents and kids alike.A wonderful aspect of Bright Prospects is the emphasis on discovery. The kids are learning not just the preschool curriculum, but also how to do things on their own, without parent or teacher intervention, so they can discover how they want to express or represent themselves and how to take responsibility for themselves, whether through pulling on and off their coats, clean up, or the simple curiosity of finding out what activity they would like to engage in each day and who they invite into that activity. The teachers are warm and fun and kind, but they also understand how much our kids can do on their own. As a parent, I tend to underestimate what my kids are capable of. "Here, I'll zip up your coat, I'll carry your bag, etc." But the reality is that they're stronger and smarter than I give them credit for, and the opportunity to do things on their own is the first step for their confidence and independence later in life. Life doesn't have some rigid formula or curriculum to stick to, and Bright Prospects is a school that understand that, so the kids are learning their most important skills through play and social engagement. I can't quantify the amazing growth I've seen in my kids, but when they come home bubbling about an art project they made or a song they sang, or when they tell me something about the world that they learned in school, I can't imagine sending them anywhere else.
