Dive bar. Convenient location in Stillwater. Food is mediocre but good happy hour prices. Interior design is fun.

I rarely write a bad review but I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because our server, a young man, was very attentive and friendly. I'm not sure how he could hear to take our order but he managed to get our drinks promptly. We stopped in at Brian's about at 9pm as everything else in town closes down at 9pm. They have a long bar, several booths and a few tables. I noted TV's so assume it could be a sports bar. It is in an upscale tourist area with many boutiques and small restaurants. You wouldn't expect a dive bar to be in this area. What a chaotic scene we walked into on a weeknight. People were drunk and obnoxious. You couldn't hear each talk without yelling across the table. The place did not appear to be very clean. We lasted 1 drink and had to leave so can't speak of the food. Drinks were ok.

Came here a bit later for drinks on a Saturday and some of us got food as well. Place was absolutely packed and service was pretty slow but it was expected for the crowd. Not bad considering though! Food was pretty good for bar food but nothing exceptional, would definitely order food again late night here.

Came in on Snow day and was the only place with no wait times. To our surprise, the food (Americana) was tasty and the service was super friendly. Megan was our waitress and she was super kind, attentive and patient.

If you're visiting from out of town and looking for a spot to eat this wouldn't be my first recommendation on Main Street, however, if you're semi-local and need a place to watch sports or get a drink, Brian's is it. It definitely is giving neighborhood dive bar but there is a time and a place for that and all things considered, the food is actually pretty solid. Have yet to have a bad experience!

This is a "small town" bar in a very urban, upscale neighborhood. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. You could tell the cheese curds came from a frozen batch in a plastic bag and just reheated. Not hand tossed. Disappointed. The cocktail menu was OK, but again, nothing novelty. I had the hard cider on tap. Again, it was OK, but not super. The service was good, and we tipped well. Just nothing too exciting. If you're looking for a small town midwestern bar with nothing novelty or impressive, this is the place for you.

Service was great, food and drinks came out fast! Nachos were delicious, also had the buffalo wings and they were great (albeit pretty small). Good bar to sit and grab a bite and some drinks and watch a game.

Depends. This review is a general review based on my experiences over time. I kind of feel about Brian's like I feel about the current Mad Capper--my VERY LAST RESORT. The bartenders are moody and the food is so so.
