Found Booms Ice Cream for an ice cream stop on this Saturday summer afternoon. Booms Ice Cream offers nostalgic walk up window ordering and lots of outdoor seating.There were so many flavors to choose from that we had to try a bunch. I tried the cookie sandwich filled with white chocolate raspberry truffle - loved it. I greatly enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies and the ice cream was top notch. The medium cone was huge and offered four flavors - wonderful variety.

Nice local ice cream stop along Hiway 61 in Hugo. Generous portions of ice cream scoops. Counter service. Not fancy but fun. Family oriented. Playground area/seating behind the building.
