Bonchon

Bonchon is the type of restaurant I recommend to all my friends and make sure to visit every time I'm in Minneapolis. Located in the heart of the city, parking is surprisingly easy to find on the street, which is a huge plus. The interior is spotless, with big-screen TVs playing movies and live sports, creating a lively and comfortable atmosphere.The service here is top-notch; my food always arrives quickly and piping hot, almost as if the chef knew exactly what I wanted before I even ordered. I tend to order a variety of dishes, and I'm always amazed at how affordable the bill is, considering the quality and quantity of the food.If you're looking for a great spot in Minneapolis, Bonchon should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!

Came here after a climbing session for Bonchon's delicious soy garlic wings. We ordered 20 pieces and two sides of rice to share between 2 people. We each had left overs to take home, which was nice. The wings were also a lot bigger than I expected! Satisfyingly crispy, super flavorful. Definitely a solid meal. Overall, the place was clean with plenty of tables to sit. Service was chill. My only complaint is that the parking was atrocious. Not their fault at all, but it took a while to find a spot during dinner time, so plan ahead!

Every time I come here, the food is phenomenal. All you need to do is order appetizers so you can have multiple things to eat from the food is so delicious.

Located conveniently in dinky town where students can have easy access to some crispy chicken. Used to crave it when it was not in town but now that it's everywhere... you tend not to crave so much unless on a rainy day. My first ever impression of Bonchon is the crispiness and crunchiness of the batter. One of a kind. The soy flavor is salty which goes well with white rice. The spicy flavor... it's spicy band also goes well with rice. When Bonchon first opened, loved the big size of the drums and wings which makes it worth the price. Now, the size are inconsistent. They should be the same size. Inflation can make the quality go down a lot. Now the portion Vs. Price isn't worth it as much. Still love the taste, so maybe on some rainy days.

i went here ages ago but i started this review and just forgot to post it it was completely empty when we walked in and the worker sitting at the front like would not show us to a table or anything like we had to ask for menus, and then we were just sitting there waiting to order for ages. by the time we got someones attention to order, we decided to just take everything to-go because we did not want to deal with sitting inside there anymore with the two workers just like staring us down. uhhh the chicken tastes like bonchon always tastes cuz its a chain so it was fine.

These wings had no sauce what so every worst wings ive every had . They were suppose to be the soy garlic .

The best French fried. Friend Chicken is tasty!Will be back soon. The inside is spacious,clean,well designed. Stuff is friendly. Food is served quickly. Price is reasonable.

First time to this place, the food is as good as I expected. The spicy chicken is hot. And the BBQ is mild. Loved both. We will do this again.. as should you

I placed an order for delivery 90 minutes before the store was scheduled to close. I was given updates right up to the time my order was being picked up, but just as I was notified that the delivery driver was picking up my order (20 minutes later than the estimate), it was canceled. DoorDash (who was performing the delivery) said to contact Bonchon directly as it was Bonchon who canceled the order. But when I tried to call the store, the staff refused to answer my call--despite me calling before their location actually closed. I tried half a dozen times over a span of 15 minutes.I've still yet to learn why my order was canceled after nearly 90 minutes of waiting. And by the time they canceled it, it was too late to order food from anywhere else. I won't be patronizing this business in the future--restaurants are a service-oriented business, and it's clear this Bonchon does not value their customers (they refused to give a reason or even answer the phone to explain why my order was canceled after it had been made and the delivery driver was a block away en route to pick it up). I understand that restaurants get busy and at times need to cancel orders in order to fulfill those they have already received--I worked as a server and later as a manager in various restaurants for over a decade--but to make the customer wait 90 minutes only to cancel without explanation is simply inexcusable. "The proof is in the pudding," as the saying goes, and it's clear this location does not care about their customers. How hard is it to answer the phone and offer an apology/explanation, particularly when the staff must have known that they had kept the order open so long before canceling it that we wouldn't be able to order from anywhere else?I suspect the staff simply wanted to go home--an understandable feeling--but if refusing to fulfill the duties of their job, they screwed over not only their customers but the driver who had nearly arrived and was no doubt looking forward to the 30% tip I'd left. Sadly, this sort of interaction (or lack thereof) seems all too common these days.The food is typically good, but this is not the first time service has been lacking at Bonchon.My advice: Dine in, or risk going hungry.

I've been to Bonchon so many times in different places but this location is the WORST.Our chicken wings barely had sauces and the sever was very rude. We had to ask him for drink refills and he was not nice at all when he was responding. Server was also touching a dog and then serving foods without cleaning in the store.Also, we had to wait so long to get our bills because the server was busy talking with his friends.Not only that food was bad, but the service was also horrible. Waste of money, worst experience so far.
