Blackwater Coffee & Cafe

Needed a pick me up on this dreary day and stopped at Blackwater Coffee & Cafe.My go to coffee to try at a new spot is the Caramel Macchiato.I ordered a medium Macchiato with oat milk.The coffee was okay.It lacked flavor and all of my syrup and coffee sat at the bottom of the cup.The service was quick and lots of smiles from the order taker was a nice treat!The is tons of parking.The set up typical coffee shop but there's a lot of room for seating and visiting friends!

This place is adorable inside! Lots of tables and booths in sunny yellow tones that invite you in to stay awhile! My group got a turtle mocha and then two seasonal drinks (valentines themed). They were all delicious! There are only two bathrooms at this coffee shop, which is normally plenty- but this place is rather large and seemed busy, the bathrooms were busy the entire time we were there, which was the only downside to this place. I'd 10/10 recommend getting coffee here! They also had food, but we didn't try any on this visit. It's a fantastic option for a quick caffeine boost!

Right when you walk into Blackwater, you can tell that they know what's up. The atmosphere is modern, furniture minimalistic, and prices pretty darn good. Service: Nothing outstanding here, but the gentleman who helped my friend and I was kind and helpful. Spit shields, face masks, and other COVID-19 precautions are clearly taken here. Atmosphere: The furniture is absolute dynamite. Enormous umbrellas found on the outside tables are funky and get your attention right away. The booths are a bright yellow that pops against the wood-grain tables. You feel cool sitting in this place, and it makes you want to return.Food: I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Sausage. It came pipin' hot in a tomato basil wrap, sliced in half... and was darn good! The gooey cheese provided an impressive bridge of texture and flavor between the sausage, egg, and I think salsa too. If you like any of those ingredients, you gotta give this menu item a shot! Drinks: Coffee was bitter, but not in a bad way. It had a unique depth of flavor that was almost fruity, and I would be down for another cup any day. Overall, Blackwater is a delightful establishment boasting a contemporary vibe without the crowd of a busy city. I'd be happy to return when in the area again!

Great breakfasts sandwiches. Best of all, they do not use plastic take-out packaging. Fantastic!!

If you are looking for a cute, cozy and quiet place to get good food and great drinks then please check this place out! Found it randomly on google, but it is going to be a regular spot for me and my wife!! The staff were friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. The coffee is on the strong and less sweet side, which was such a good surprise, and the food was made fresh. We got a chicken pesto flatbread, a mocha and a chai. Everything was wonderful!!

I'm not going to give a bad review, because I am so happy Blackwater opened on 394 and Hopkins crossroads. I love their milk tea, and their ancient grains bowl is wonderful.My feedback is that the service is terrible. They are friendly at the register, but I've been here a few times and every time, the employees are just chatting and take forever to get going on my order. It's really annoying.

I am not from the area but decided to try out the Minneapolis location with a friend. The service was excellent and the food was excellent! I got the White Chocolate Mocha and my friend got the Thai Milk Tea, both were wonderful! For food, I got a danish and he got Thai chicken wrap. The peanut sauce on it was to die for! I highly recommend it here!

Nice place to work. Coffee was okay. Food was not fresh, rather reheated frozen stuff. Service was good though.

My favorite coffee shop in the area. The service is always friendly. Lots of inside seating. The coffee tastes good and the breakfast food options are great too!
