Birdi Golf

I don't golf but I like guys that do. The food is pretty good, the service is not, but I'll recognize I'm not the target audience for big tips. The simulators look cool, my golfer friends love it here, but I didn't try one....yet. Overall this is a unique and cool spot to golf, eat and drink when the weather sux. It would be cooler if they had a baseball batting simulator too, a little diversification may do them some good.

Food is awesome. Best boneless wings in town. Awesome bar and the service was great. Try and sit in Lauryn's section if she is there. She's the best!

I've been here before and have eaten mediocre lobster rolls on their patio, they are good for happy hour. Came with my family today for Mothers Day brunch. I made late reservations and was happy to have gotten this choice at such short notice. When we arrived there was one table in the restaurant and another couple playing golf. What the heck, it's Mothers Day, where is everyone? Keys was packed with a 45 minute wait. I know why there was nobody there, the food. I've had better breakfast for free in hotel lobbies. I think the eggs were powdered? The biscuits(s) were most likely frozen with a doughboy on the package, or in a tube. Sad looking breaky pizza, dried out cinnamon rolls. The potatoes were too wet, and the other too dry. The bacon was the only thing good and my auntie liked the waffle. For $30 it should've been better. I didn't take any pics but it was terrible. Do better or you'll close, I'm sorry to say. I really want to like this place.

I've been here about 5 times and it seems like it's been better lately than it was in the past. The food is always really good, especially the bowls and apps. Got the pretzel bits one time and they were burnt. Other times the food is perfect. The staff is always nice, but service can be slow at times. I haven't golfed here yet, but will one of these days during the winter as it looks pretty sweet.

When it comes to golf simulators in the Twin Cities region you'll be hard pressed to find any better than those at Birdi.While the strip mall façade makes Birdi easy to overlook, they have ~10 simulators and a sizeable area/bar for those just looking to grab a bite or a drink. The beer list is decent and they have a pretty wide selection of bar food - it's not a dining destination, but it's nice to have options in between swings.Back to what matters - they use GolfZon sims with moving platforms that have realistic tracking. Yes, the courses on offer are somewhat limited and feature a lot of Asian courses locals might not have heard of, but they still lap many of the local competition.Reservations can be booked online, prices are reasonable, parking is ample and service has always been friendly enough. It'll continue to be a place I tee it up at regularly when the weather doesn't allow for golf outside.

We came as a family to check this place out. Service was great and they were very much on top of it. Highly recommend the bloodys as they were Better than your average bloody.Breakfast food - majority of us ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were just okay but nothing to be raged about unfortunately. Served with potatoes that weren't the most flavorful to compliment it.Someone also ordered the biscuits and gravy and very much said it wasn't anything they would eat again, it looked that way too.The simulators themselves were your average simulator. A suggestion would be to put nets fully around them so the balls don't shoot backwards. Our balls kept getting stuck and not automatically popping up so that was quite a nuisance. We also very much felt rushed out of our pod 15 minutes before our time was up, it was odd that they were so keen on getting us out of there when there were 5+ pods open for people to go and use verses rushing us out of our precious paid minutes. Curious to see how this place does. Great sports bar atmosphere but the food we experienced won't help it last. Maybe the lunch/dinner is better?!

Called 4 times over 2 days on December 26 and 27 (2024) and literally NO ONE answered the phone. Had questions about bringing a large group there but wound up abandoning that idea and taking my business elsewhere.

First time we golfed at Birdi it was fairly new and everything was great. Went back tonight and the staff was extremely rude, service was slow and the drinks were awful. Our reservation was until 6:00 and at exactly 6:00 as we were grabbing our clubs a worker (I think the manager) came over and rudely told us we needed to leave the bay now because others were waiting? Seriously, you can't have 30 seconds to grab your stuff. Checkin staff was extremely rude to us and it took forever. The experience ended by the manager throwing our credit cards at us? LOL immature, unprofessional staff and for no reason. We won't ever go back not sure if management changed or what.
