I stopped by a few other kennels in the Hugo area before settling on Wunderlich's. My dog seems to enjoy his time there. He eats his food that we send with him so he doesn't have to get used to something different. We usually include a couple of his toys and treats as well. Charlene always takes good care of him so we don't have to worry while we're gone.

We LOVE Wunderlich's Kennels. Our pup loves going and we always feel good leaving him in their great care.

My larger dog, Kali, has never been happier in a kennel! She even ate her food, which is always an indicator of how she feels! Charlene, the owner, is a doll and Kali took a liking to her - i make all my judgements based on her opinion :) Definitely will use them again.

We ended up boarding our dogs here when took a week long trip to Vegas. Genuinely cannot overstate how wonderful the staff is and how caring Charlene, the owner, is. We have a German shepherd and a pit mix who love people but aren't a huge fan of any other dogs. This obviously complicates boarding, as most places in the cities will throw the dogs all together for "playtime". Charlene's place is basically the opposite in the best way - all dogs go out separately (or with their family unit) and each kennel has a separate run. There's a huge outdoor play area and play time is only 2 dollars a day. She encouraged us to call any time (and we did lol). When we picked our two pups up, they were relaxed and happy. Both of them ate well too! We thought maybe we'd want one of those places with the cameras and all the extra stuff but honestly meeting with Charlene you can tell she's a deeply caring and honest person who prioritizes your animals. The property is beautiful and pretty rural which I know our dogs liked. We will definitely be back and have recommended this spot to all our friends. Thank you North Oaks!!!

We are very happy with the care our golden retriever gets at this kennel. They are very friendly to us and loving to our dog. They are accommodating and our dog seems happy to go there.

We've been very happy to use this kennel regularly. We have taken our dog to a couple other local places. One had lots of bells and whistles but the base price was high and then each bell and whistle was additional. At the other place, I was sad to leave our dog there; the opportunities for her to run her fool head off where very limited both in frequency and area. North Oaks kennels charges a very fair base price and extras are affordable (this make me want to buy more of them!) Charlene is very easy to work with and takes great care and our dog has vast areas to run off her energy.
