Bring cash- they don't accept credit cards. $14 for adults This is a really unique mini golf course. Each hole has a lot of art work to appreciate. They also have an animals on site and sculpture garden. Super fun place to spend a summer afternoon. The drive around lake Minnetonka to get there was gorgeous. They have a large parking lot.

Definitely the prettiest spot that I've ever had the pleasure of playing mini golf. Plenty of shade, tree, sculptures, even water features, AND I got a hole in one. I played my best mini golf game yet! We played here while visiting from out of town, and it was a perfect addition to an already relaxing day. There were a lot of great photo opportunities, and I love that the goats can be photographed but not bothered by guests. There are very limited snacks and drinks available for purchase, so plan a meal elsewhere before or after. Have fun!

If you want unique and fun mini golf, this is the place! 14 holes of creative, challenging and unique golf. Lots of cool sculptures both combined in the mini golf holes and course, plus even more in the "back" lawn. Goats, a highland cow, a miniature donkey and more. We had a blast and the owners are super kind.Note, the course is almost all shaded which is lovely, but the mosquitoes were bad. Bring bug spray or cover up if they tend to like you. Our daughter got bit a lot with huge welts but the other 4 of us were mostly unaffected.

Had a great time. Parking- busy day, and with a wedding being held there, spots were limited. When leaving we noticed many cars parked along the road.Mini Golf- two points: 1)be patient. Others before you may be slow, so you might have to wait a bit for the next tee. 2) hole 11 was hard to find. We circled around before realizing it was mere steps away from 10. Afterward, I noticed two other groups having the same issue.Sculpture Garden - definitely worth checking out. Walk the grounds, and enjoy the art (beyond mini golf area).Amenities- there are two bathrooms, a hand washing station near the goats, various picnic tables (they don't sell food, so bring your own snack/beverage),and random games (chess, ping pong). It was fun and worth the visit.

Big Stone Mini Golf is a cute and creative golf course with many fun holes. It is only $14 for adults and $12 for children - no credit cards though. I arrived midday and, as expected, it was pretty busy. Even with a bit of a wait between holes it was fun to experience the artist and somewhat challenging holes. The biggest downside is that the course is not super well kept up. The green is very worn out and a lot of the tee stands are missing from the holes. Even so, we had a fun time.In addition to the golf there is a lot of other sculptures to wander around and see. There are also some yard games like corn hole and table tennis available to play. Last but not least, you can also look at and feed the goats (for an extra cost). They are super cute and were loving the snacks.

We had so much fun at Big Stone recently! This place is one of the more unique locations to play mini golf in the Twin Cities. The course is set up on an area of land that has taken unique sculptures and turned them into a fun family outing. We arrived on a Saturday at about 15 min past opening and we're glad we got there early. People started flooding in and the lines were roughly 40 deep by 11 just waiting to start. Parking is in a dirt field but plentiful. The setup is not the most organized for waiters from what I could tell, you pay admission grab your putter and ball and then just have to wait. There is plenty to see on the grounds but if you are coming primarily for mini golf, get there early! They don't seem to limit groups sizes either so if you have a party of 5 or 6 (or more) ahead of you prepare to just keep getting backed up. The course is minimally maintained. Balls roll all over the place and there isn't a rubber area to start so you just kind of guess and hope your ball stays put. But, the whole reason you come here is the sculptures and the grounds; and they are worth it! Each hole has a different artistic take and after you complete your round (or while you wait) you can wander the huge area to explore even more sculptures and animals. There are plenty of places to bring a blanket and set up for a picnic lunch or just wander and enjoy the art. There is a giant chess board and a unique ping pong setup as well. The location also has donkeys goats and chickens to observe as well! If the weather is nice, plan on spending a few hours with golf, a snack or lunch you bring and just enjoying the grounds. I will say the admission for golf is a bit pricy at anyone 9+ being $12 and 8 and under $10 but it supports a non profit for local artists and includes access to the entire space plus golf. One thing to note is that they are cash or checks only; no electronic payments and closest ATM is about 5 miles away. If you haven't been, it is definitely worth a trip out to Minnestrista to experience!

Any day your kids don't have to go to school, this is a great place to check out. The holes are challenging and interesting, the art is great, and they have misters to try to cool you down. In between golf rounds, you could pet a baby goat, roast marshmallows on a sculpture that's on fire, or just wander around pointing and saying "look at that one! "It's a stellar family outing and will stay in my back pocket for future. Super recommended.

Best mini golf course I have ever been to! We had to wait about 25 mins til we could golf, but it was totally okay because there were so many sculptures to look at and even baby goats to entertain us! The courses were actually pretty challenging too. There were not a lot of opportunities to get a hole-in-one, although we ended up getting one! Definitely a fun activity for the family, or even a date day! Would recommend.

Fun mini golf course. Interesting sculpture garden. Perfect for a quick day trip adventure. The only negative was the grass parking area was real muddy from rain the night before.

This is a one of a kind experience and well worth it. The artwork is amazing and the golf course is great. The employees were very kind and helpful. Once you're done with your game there's sooo much to explore. I wish we would of brought more bug spray because the mosquitoes wereHorrible out by the art work feilds. Bring lots of water in summer as this is allOutdoors. Will visit and recommend every time we come to MN.
