Great local family owned ice cream shop that makes their ice cream and waffle cones in-house. They have 52 flavors to choose from, we tried the Pumpkin Cheesecake, Caramel Apple, & Chocolate Almond. They were all delicious, as were the cones. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

On a hot summer evening, just what is needed, a cool cone of ice cream. Many folks had the exact same idea so it was a bit busy but the service was great and kept the line moving smoothly.Walking into Big Dipper, there are 3 cases of different ice cream options with 16 in each - that is 48 flavors. How's a person to choose? Well I couldn't pick just one, so thank goodness for the Triple Dipper Cone. This cone is ingenious with two scoop spots and then she topped it with the third. It was still difficult to narrow it down to three, but I landed on Blackberry Lavender, Lemon Bar, and the Beach Bum. They were all so unique and flavorful, I can't even pick my favorite. Definitely going back soon check out other flavors.

Great Ice Cream with so many flavors. We had the birthday cake w/waffle cone & mint chocolate chip cup and Brownie ice cream. They even offer party cups & ice cream cakes.Did I mention this is a family owned and operated business which makes it that much better.

Today I was lucky enough to meet the owner and what an absolutely lovely person! This is a family owned ice cream shop and the service was great! When I walked in the door i immediately got a more "old school" ice cream shop feel from this place. There are 3 cases of ice cream to choose from!! So many delicious flavors!! There are toppings and sauces as well! I saw they have a banana split and a foot beer float that you can get with 1919 root beer! ( I'll definitely be back to try those!) The ice cream was creamy and flavored well! I love that there are take home options and the prices are decent. There is indoor seating and I did see some benches I believe they set outside during the warmer weather. If you are looking to support a local business and get a tasty treat, look no further!! You won't regret it :)

The Big Dipper is a great place for quality ice cream. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is that of an ice cream parlor. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I love Big Dipper ice cream. They always have fun & different flavors to try. My go-to is the lavender, but occasionally I like to switch it up. It's super quick to get in, and the staffs are always friendly and willing to answer questions.

I was looking for a great nearby ice cream place after a day at the pool (bunker beach water park), and this came up. It is tucked in the corner of the nearby shopping places but is a really good hidden gem.There are sooo many flavors and they make it all homemade. They have been opened for 20 years and it's family owned. You can taste flavors which is really nice. I had the strawberry cheesecake and it really taste like it. It has real strawberries and graham cracker crumbs. It was delicious! They have summer and fall hours so pay close attention to that. Great customer service, friendly and welcoming!

Locally owned ice cream shop in Blaine, MN. Great place to bring your family & friends on a hot summer day! Multiple fun flavors for all to enjoy! Large parking lot, benches, and chair for out door seating and a large seating area indoors. I recommend getting the s'mores and butter brickle:)

Came here because I love baskin robbins praline ice cream so I got that at this location....there were no pralines lmao! It should be called caramel ice cream. Where are the pralines? Huge disappointment. My husband ordered the banana split and the girl that made it was in such a rush it looked like vomit in a container. So expensive for what we got.

Great ice cream and service! Lot of choices and generous portions of ice cream. I would give them 10 stars if that was a choice.?
