Okay, so a year later, friends took me back to Baldamar. I was NOT impressed on my last visit. Appetizer: Bread is Life ($12.95). No difference from last review. This bread and the three spreads are INCREDIBLE! Just order it!Entree: California Sturgeoncaviar, Au Poivre sauce, parmesan frico, shaved asparagus, mixed greens ($48). This dish was on their February Features menu and recommended by our Server, Jesse. Served on a small cedar plank, the Sturgeon was moist, flavorful, and a good portion (unlike the Lamb Chops I had last time). Caviar is a nice touch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.Drink: N.Y.F.O.F. ($28). A Smokey Old Fashioned with cherry, vanilla, and hints of marigold. Amazing and a great presentation. Service: Jesse is funny, informative, attentive, and provides good recommendations. Well done Jesse!Overall: I gave Baldamar 3 stars last time. This time, I do not hesitate to give them 5 stars! I really enjoyed it!

Great experience here. I have no complaints. Let's start with the establishment. They have a nice bar and a good selection of drinks The food is fantastic. The filet was to die for Ashley. The saver did an excellent job I will visit again.

Have you ever been to a restaurant and everything just exceeded your expectation? Well, that was Baldamar for me. Even dining during restaurant week, the food option was amazing. I opt for the steak. It was very juicy and tender. The salad was phenomenal. I loved the Brussels sprout and mashed potato sides. And to top it off with dessert, everything was beautifully curated. Service was phenomenal. Our server was attentive and explained the menu thoroughly. He also gave us recommendation which I appreciate.

This is the worse steak house I've ever been.I've also never seen any medium filet mignon cooked so bad.

I've gotten Baldamar before around COVID and can't really remember what I ordered. I finally got a chance to eat inside and it doesn't disappoint. I sat at the bar area because the dining area was booked. It has a nice steakhouse vibes inside. I ordered the bread and the rib eye. The bread was hot and fresh and the spreads were very good. My rib eye was seasoned well but just a little bit overcooked. I ordered medium and it was more medium well. The man next to me had the same problem, so if you're looking for medium you should probably get medium rare. The service was decent but the bar was pretty busy so it took a little long before I was greeted. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

The service was great! We had booked a reservation but got there early and they were able to accommodate without making us feel bad for asking. Our server was very kind. Helping us walk thru the menu since it was our first time. She took our drink orders right away and it came swiftly. Our drinks always remained filled. We got the oysters, ribeye, artichoke, truffle fries and king crab ala vodka.All were delicious. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Artichoke was only OK to me, I wouldn't reorder. But my husband loved them and ate them all quickly. I was thrown off by the honey in it. Truffle fries were amazing with the exception of the house ranch. Not a fan. Has an after taste that I wasn't a fan of, but the ketchup and chipotle aioli were just fine! Fries cooked to perfection. We ate the whole thing.King crab ala vodka was good, lots of pancetta, it was surprisingly spicier than I expected. I love spice and heat but be careful if you cannot handle spice or dislike spice. This isn't for you. My only gripe is that the king crab was shredded in. I would have preferred chunks of crab.

I will forever love coming to this place. I love that whenever we come it's usually always a special occasion. We were celebrating my son's birthday and other family celebrations that it just made sense to come here.We were able to lock in a reservation for 6 people and our server Ariel was so so nice. She was very helpful telling us about the specials and we had a great time. My husband went for the pork chop special which was delicious and it's the drunken apples. I had a filet with blue cheese and crispy onions and I would t have it any other way. I love blue cheese and the amount of crispy onions you get I was able to share with 2 people. We had the bread is life because it really is! You can't go wrong with that one and specially their honey jalapeño butter I would get a gallon of that. Because it's the fall season they had one of the butters be a cinnamon pecan pumpkin sort of flavor which was very delicious I can imagine that in a cinnamon roll. For drinks I tried the red Rosie, Pineapple Express and red blonde something like that. All 3 were delicious and also NA. I love coming here also because of their selection of drinks.I was so so happy to hear the harvest salad is back because wow wow wow I always crave it around this time of year and can't figure out what the squash is in the salad or how the prepare it because it's so freaking good. I am considering coming here for thanksgiving and the awesome part is that they tend to have that in the buffet section. Over all it was just as always a fantastic evening filled with delicious food that we had left over for and we got surprised with 2 desserts. I can't wait to come back here again!

I've left a review on their Brunch Sundays but leaving one for Happy Hour and bar service. We love getting HH here. We were happy to hear HH is all day Sunday! So we grabbed a spot at the bar. They have some of the best foods we come here just for: pork belly Mac and cheese, lobster rolls, and now the honey sriracha wings. We also like how most of their HH menu comes in pairs and are shareable. We felt like choosing four items was more than enough food for two people. It's a great date night or friend outing if you're looking for quality food and small bites. We ordered the birria tacos for the first time. The beef is tender. However, we felt like they lacked flavor. My lobster roll also had some small shells, which hadn't happened before. We kindly told our bartender and didn't want to make it a big deal. He took it well. Our bartender also gave us hot towels, which was the first time I got them here. It was a nice touch after getting our hands dirty with the wings. The bathroom is nearby, too. While the restaurant gets filled with those meeting for brunch, I felt like I could still have conversation with my hubby at the bar. We arrived around 11:30 am on a Sunday and it wasn't a crowded bar section. I noticed others joined the bar to watch football if that's helpful for anyone.

Come here for happy hour Baldamar. I usually love their happy hour but this time, I felt like it wasn't as good. Maybe, because I wasn't that hungry, but I ordered the short rib birria tacos and a single patty burger with bacon. I think I had high expectations for the birra taco so, it wasn't as good as I thought. There was not much flavor. The burger was good. I feel like you can never go wrong with a burger. There is plenty of parking and is right across the mall so, I stopped and did some shopping. The waiter was nice but the service was a bit slow. Overall, everything was good but don't think I would be back for a while.
