Super fun!

I love this place. It felt a little like I might die, but in a good way where I'm going to trust that this is safe even though I'm in Wisconsin. This place is new to me, so I dont know what it looked like pre-Covid, but currently they limit the number of tickets. Tickets go on sale on Wednesdays around noon. They seem to sell out by evening. There are bathrooms, but no indoor place to hang out this year. No snacks being sold. Bring your own. This is less than an hour from my home. The drive was super easy. The people who work here are great. I like that masks are required. The runs are super fun and good for all ages! I saw lots of little kids here. To be honest, I think it's best for either kids who are very into physical activities and have some good muscle strength. And/or ages 8+.The tow ropes can be brutal! I felt like I got an upper arm work out. Im going to be honest and say a lot of middle aged ladies like myself might find them almost impossible. But I did see grandparents out here, so it really depends on your personal strength and endurance. The runs are SO FUN. However, we did have the morning slot and by hour three some of the runs felt slower. I dont know much about snow conditions, but some people said it was because the snow got too wet. There was no precipitation when we were there. I do not know if they can make their own snow here to groom their runs.

A must visit! My winter isn't complete without at least one visit to Badlands. They have 7 unique hills that you can go down and they're all awesome and a few are even a bit scary! You can go all day for $20 which is a great deal.

This is real snowtubing, people! Grown-up sledding, if you will.Oh my goodness, I laughed so hard with that silly feeling you get when you're all cold and yet having the time of your life. Because flinging yourself down a steep and somewhat icy incline on a rubber tube could very well be the end of it.I highly recommend coming out here at least once a winter. You'll have fun, cheat death, and get lots of unintentional exercise (my chubby arms were sore from gripping the rope pulley). Their prices are also fair, but I'd recommend leaving your purse and whatnot in the car. They do have water, but it's for sale, so maybe bring some with you and grab it when you need a break from hobbling up hills/careening at break-neck speed.

Lots of fun. Friendly staff. My kids had lots of fun. I like that you're not confined to a small lane to go straight down the hill. Everyone waited their turns with little to no supervision from staff. Good day all around.
