Artstart

Artstart is a non-profit arts organization in St Paul. We discovered Artstart 3 years ago and we have been shopping here ever since. Artstart is full of mostly used crafts and supplies. There is a ton of material packed into this shop. My nephew really loves crafts so when he is in town, this is one place he loves to go. In past visits we have picked up lots of paper, paint, and all sorts of different trinkets that can be used when creating art. They have bins and bins of beads, buttons, feathers, rocks, etc. This is a great place to donate items you may not use anymore too. We usually end up buying a bag full of goodies and end up spending less than $10.00. Lots of their items are under $1.00. In fact in all the times that we have been there, I don't recall seeing anything listed at more than a $1.00. They even have a nice selection of personal cards for .25 cents. Artstart also offers different classes and programs for art and education. This is a really neat and very affordable place for all arts and craft lovers.

This place is great for affordable supplies for art projects little or big! There are great classes and summer programs too. A great find for the artist in everyone!

As an Art Student, this is one of my favorite stores!!!! I was able to get so so so many things for one of my up coming projects, all for just $15!! It was a huge paper grocery bag too. Something to keep in mind is that the store had a mandatory mask policy, and if you don't have a mask they have really nice clothe masks. The staff is all super kind, and you can tell they want to be there!
